I am a caregiver to an elderly lady who I have taken to this clinic many times in the past without any issues. In fact I have always been pleased with the service, today however, I encountered a dr’s assistant by the name of Sheri. She was obviously not having a good day and I was immediately met with an attitude. I felt judged and cut off as I tried explaining what I was there for. As she cut me off from explaining she proceeded to turn to the computer and after a minute or two she dismissed me by saying well go and get her. I got in to the parking lot and ran into another dr’s assistant going into work and I explained how rude the lady at the desk was to which she said I will take care of you. I said okay and proceeded to get the patient out of the car which is not easy. When I got closer to the door the rude lady met me while opening the door and proceeded to talk to the patient who does not speak. She still had the same demeanor and I was put off by the fact that the lady I met in the parking lot was not taking care of me. I was told I was nasty when in fact it was her who was being very nasty and rude. I will never go there ever again.

I had to stay in my car to take a COVID test & this place charged my insurance $10,000… for a COVID Test, they charge $10,000! When I called Billing, they said they charge it as an ER Visit. I’ve worked in health insurance and never have I seen an ER visit for $10,000… let alone, a COVID Test. This info was not given when I called to schedule the appt.. this info was not given when I checked in for my appt.. this info was not given when I gave you my ID & Insurance card. I genuinely cannot understand how this facility is still in business and hasn’t been investigated.

Do NOT GO HERE!!!! The day shift male doctor has zero bedside manner he argued With me and kept asking if I knew the difference between dizziness and lightheadedness. His tone was very aggressive, rude and degrading. No one did a neuro assessment, no one checked my blood sugar level, no one listened to my heart or lung sounds. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. And the front desk receptionist for day shift needs an etiquette class, she is very rude and unprofessional. So disappointing that this is the medical care that is provided. The doctor’s tone only changed after he found out that I work in the medical field. At a time where I was anxious and not feeling well, he only violated my HIPPA rights and continued to aggressively ask the same questions with the door wide open for all the other patients and staff to hear.DON’T GO HERE! Again trust me do not go to this urgent/emergency room. I should have gone to signature care emergency room instead. This is not how you treat your patients or practice medicine.I am considering reporting this emergency room and taking it past a google review. I am utterly disgusted and disappointed. I sincerely hope the staff reads this. Imagine it’s you or your family in a time of need and consider how you would want them to be treated.DO better because what I experienced was COMPLETELY Unacceptable, and is not the standard of care that should be given to the community.

Fast, attentive service. The whole team was professional, yet friendly and caring. Dr. Lui was great and quick to get treatment started. Nurse Leslie was attentive, thorough, and innovative in her care. Ken, the radiology tech, was personable and patient. They all worked hard to make me as comfortable as possible. Excellent medical care!!

Front desk service, telephone service, and online covid testing sign up were all excellent. But the lunatic who administered my covid test was medical malpractice personified. This woman railed against the Covid vaccine; claimed to be seeing more violently sick vaccinated people than unvaccinated people, PROMOTED THE USE OF HORSE DEWORMER IVERMECTIN TO WARD OFF COVID!!! which the CDC and FDA have both said NOT to use; and handed me a photocopy of a handwritten list of over the counter supplements - with no medical explanations, no disclaimers, no explanations at all for their being on the list - and touted the list as sort of a magic cocktail to ward off the coronavirus. It honestly was frightening.

I have been using River Oaks Emergency for several years now and have always had a great experience. The way they handled the Covid testing was even better. Instead of going somewhere and waiting for hours not knowing if you would ever get tested and when you would have the results, I was able to make an appointment at a set time and was able to be tested at that time without a long wait. This was for my kids as well. I told many people about the Covid testing was handled and they all had good experiences as well.

This facility is fraudulent and needs to be looked into, I will pursue this further.I went here for a covid-19 test and was asked to pull my vehicle to the back of the building (I didn’t step foot inside the building), I pulled up to the back and someone took my sample, got the result back in a few days and all was good. Fast forward to 3 months later I get two letters in the mail from my insurance company stating that this facility was seeking a total of $5,700 for the service, $1,850 to the provider who I never saw (the nurse took the sample while I was in the car) and $3,850 to the facility. This is outrageous and needs to be reported.

River Oaks provided quick and quality care for my young daughter. They were friendly and made sure she was comfortable and well taken care of.

Went for a PCR test, they offered me two options: 1- result in 12 hours. 2- result in 24 hours. The girl on the front desk explained it well and so did the nurse and made sure that I understand that the 12 or 24 hours start from when the sample gets in the lab and not from when it was collected.

Shame on you, business like you are the main reason of healthcare frauds. We had the same experience as many others: we took a rapid covid test for my wife, ( over the phone they mentioned price is only $175) we received a mail from our insurance company that they Paid them $3900 for this test. They even did not bother to return our initial payment we had to call in and request it. Why would you charge $3900 for a test ?

I had an amazing experience at River Oaks Emergency Center. From the doctors to nurses and rest of the staff they went above and beyond to care for me. Dr Luna is the best and even brought me a slice of cheesecake! Love this place. I had an awesome experience. I walked in in a state of panic and fear about my health condition, and walked out totally relieved and surprised and grateful for the attention and care I was given

I must say the circumstances might not have been the best for me to have to come to the clinic. But folks with great attitudes get amazing service I must say Britney and Carly were wonderful. Both of them appreciated my extremely positive attitude and patience to wait for my Covid test. The process was very simple and easy. I called ahead of time called one more time to make sure that I got their process correct then within 20 minutes was directed to the back of their building and after another 10 minutes I was tested. I was quoted an hour and a half and in and out within 45 minutes honestly nothing to complain about. I hope my positive attitude and patience really helped their day I understand that they might have some frustrating circumstances and folks to deal with. I hope this interaction brighten their day as well as the review!

Great experience. The receptionist/nurse was warm and caring, answering all my questions before I got there. When we found that my insurance did not cover my test here, she was still kind enough to take my temp. to put me at ease. Her kindness and patience are greatly appreciated, especially in these hard and stressful times!

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a scam. I went to this location after mistaking it for an urgent care center (big mistake on my part). I went there because I was coming off of working a night shift and It was one of the few places open at 5:30 AM. Nothing about it made me think it was an actual emergency room. They had to unlock the door for me to enter as I was the only patient there. Then had me wait an hour and a half to see a doctor. After waiting for an hour and a half I wanted to leave because I was feeling better. That’s when they said they would take my blood pressure, temperature, and give me a prescription (that I never filled). even though I said I felt better and didn’t want a prescription and wanted to leave. I ended up with an $8,000 medical bill from that visit. The billing department told me they charge “$4,000 to enter the building and $4,000 to see a doctor” any tests would be an additional cost. After, several more calls to their billing department and reporting the case to my insurance company they told me they would waive my copay and one of the $4,000 charges. But the insurance company would still need to pay $4,000. It’s absolutely disgusting that they get away with this.

Being a self pay patient, I called first to get quoted on prices. I was informed that they do not do that over the phone, but to come in and they could quote me. From the front desk, to the interaction with the nurse, then ending with the doctor, I had a wonderful experience. I appreciate that the staff made it a priority that they were communicating efficiently. I could go on, but I believe that me saying that alone goes to show that I recommend River Oaks Emergency Room. This is the first time Ive recommended, much less had a pleasant experience at an emergency room/urgent care.

If I could rate this place a ZERO I really would. DO NOT GO HERE! I came here to get a COVID 19 anti body test and a Rapid test, allegedly they charge $50 up front due to the fact “my insurance doesn’t cover both tests…which is a LIE. I went through the entire process of being verified, spoke with the office manager about insurance and what’s covered and what isn’t, not once did he mention a emergency room fee! I drive around the back to wait for the nurse to come out, well he calls me to ask normal questions and then advised that there is a emergency room fee. A month ago there wasn’t.I called to talk to the office manager named ALEX, which by the way is extremely rude and unprofessional! I expressed confusion and asked why I didn’t have a fee before but now they are charging one. He rudely told me that they aren’t a testing center, they are an emergency room and they changed that policy not to long ago. I asked why he didn’t share that from the beginning, he responded that it is posted on the door. He hung up on me.Don’t waste your time!!!!

Dr. Cruz did an amazing job with my daughter, as well as the nurse. The explained things really well took care of us very fast and got us on our way. Having been through a lot of traumatic experiences in hospitals and emergency rooms, this was definitely a serene experience compared to those. The staff was courteous they took care of us quickly and were very kind to my daughter. Hopefully we won’t make seeing them a habit, but I am thankful for a place I feel comfortable going for minor emergencies.

Do NOT go to this clinic for COVID testing. I had the same experience as many others: after taking a quick anti-body test (that came back negative) that the clinic promised would only cost $150 at most, they tried to charge my insurance company $9,000 !!!!! I never set foot in the place, and this test is free at many facilities.

I appreciate everything the RN & Medical Assistant( Gibbie, Lasonia). They are so professional and fast, I got a rapid test today as he asked questions the medical assistant was just as knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. The best part is that they are also extremely prompt in getting all test results whether blood work, CT Scan, etc. immediately! No waiting hours like other typical urgent care facilities.I can highly recommend River Oaks Urgent Cate for all of your emergency needs.

DON’T COME TO THIS PLACE ❌ so unprofessional. I come for PCR test I clearly ask for 12 hours result for my travel purpose I take the test I pay for it . After 12 hours i call but she say if I want my result i have to pay $50 more because they have to call somebody to make the laboratory check n I had no choice I pay the extra. but my Surprise is. they give me the results after 10 minutes after I pay the $50 more. I don’t understand why she say it first the test is not ready after 12 hours but after I Pay the extra they sent it to me after 10 minutes to me the test results it was fake ‼️ this was Wednesday 11 pm 13/01/2021

Paid $100 out of pocket on my initial visit, and since then I have received 2 bills over $150. I made a point to ask them if there would be any additional charges when I first arrived and they told me if anything maybe $30 extra dollars, that was a complete lie. When I called and asked what these extra bills were for, I was told it was a “physician” fee. You would think that would be included but I guess I was just paying for the experience. This place is extremely run down, dirty, and the doctor didn’t even know what she was doing. I recommended what I thought it was, and it wasn’t until after that she finally agreed. Before that she was completely puzzled and had no idea what it could’ve been. Only go here if you want to be price gauged and feel super dirty while waiting for a doctor who will give it their best “guess”.

DONT GET YOUR COVID TEST HERE! This place is a scam and they will bill your insurance company about $1,000 for your test, saying that it included an Emergency Room Visit with a doctor. My family was charged for that yet: 1) was never informed in advance unless it was in fine print somewhere; 2) never entered an emergency room (never got out of the car); 3) no doctor was present during testing (and wasnt needed anyway); and 4) you can get a test elsewhere with the same degree of urgency at a fraction of the cost. Dont be fooled by their responses below suggesting complainers should call them to resolve their complaint. They wont do anything except waste your time. Its a shameful operation.

River Oaks Emergency Room is the place to go if you have minor emergency like I did. I fell and cut my brow and thank goodness I did not go to a hospital and expose myself to the even greater risk of covid in a packed waiting room. Their waiting room was not crowded at all and the wait was minimal, about 30 minutes. They were fast and professional and was stitched up in no time. Great alternative.

Hello I have treated at this facility for years. Dr. Luna is one of the best docs in town. Very personal, listens, and gets the job done right.My most recent visit was for blood testing and a nasal swab for a virus. They use FDA approved tests only and they also use the short swab so it doesn’t hurt. I was in and out with my wife in less than 20 minutes and got results back very soon after.Thank you so much!

Processing to get the covid rapid test done was a hassle but the medical assist, Lasonya was amazing. She got me processed in and made sure I was tested. Also I only waited 30 minutes. Service was great there. I recommend their services.

Worst service ever. A gentleman super bitter Ann’s rude name Alex Rodriguez on the river oaks location. Was the rudest. He didn’t even answer to the bellow or how are you. I politely said. Then he didn’t want to do a COVID test, saying we need an appointment. I show him his advertising on Google with no appointment, no wait.And he was even ruder, saying he won’t help us.Please avoid this police, or I hope the management advises his employee on the poor behavior he has, with costumers. So sad that an emergency clinic when you need the most has the worst service ever.

Fast testing. Don’t go here if you don’t have good insurance. Uninsured Covid test is 175. Most places are free or 40 at most.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A COVID TEST! I called ahead to get pricing and availability of the rapid results test. Was told the cost is $175 and I could get the test same day. I drove there, paid for the cost, did the drive through test, got my results quickly. No issues there. HOWEVER, they now have filed 2 claims with my insurance for a TOTAL COST of over $7,500!!! A covid drive though test does not cost $7,500. They charged me for an emergency room visit, that is NOT what I came for! Never got admitted in an emergency room. Never saw or spoke with a doctor. This place is either a SCAM or has major billing issues! Either way, I wouldn’t go there!

I dont advise anyone to go there.Theres no credibility.They said the test would take 24 hours.A day later, they said the result could come in three days.my son undergoing a lung transplant, and I cant see him until the result comes out.You have to be more credible.

Office staff had not arrived when I had my Covid test which was a scheduled appointment (not a walk-in), so the doctors were trying to do paperwork with the help of a medical tech who had started the just that week. Then, when contacted about payment, I was told the bill was around $200 for me to pay. When I inquired about insurance being billed, Dr. Luna saidthey would charge my insurance around $3,000 for an emergency room visit even though it was just a Covid test that was done in my car. This was what Dr. Luna reported directly to me which seemed like insurance fraud to me. And she was very rude on the phone. I will not be returning. There are other places that are much nicer to go to.

Visited this wonderful, friendly and professional neighborhood urgent care facility for urgent care there recently and was impressed by their attention to detail, professionalism and kind care. Dr. Luna-Gonzales and her staff were a calming and confident presence that managed my case to a healthy conclusion!

Excellent care and service. Brittany, RN, is efficient, kind and experienced. Dr. Mabry took my illness seriously and thoroughly examined me and listened to me. Nikki, at the front desk, was pleasant and professional.I left improved and feeling as though I mattered. As welk, the facility is clean, organized and amazingly decorated.

The doctor and nurse were extremely caring and compassionate. The man checking me in was rude and acted like I was bothering him by being there. I was ready to leave without seeing the doctor because of him. He does not give a welcoming quality that he should have.

Taking my grandma there for pain and throwing-up lady upfront made me fill out paperwork, take id and insurance card then set my grandma back in the room after doc coming in, another lady came and say $2000 if you continue treatment!!! We don’t accept your insurance! Really why you didn’t tell me that upfront so I can go somewhere else! That lady saying oh sorry the girl at the front didn’t know it’s not your fault if you don’t wanna continue treatment you welcome to leave! Doc was nice, but what a waste of time—upfront people don’t know what insurance plans they do or don’t accept? Whats their job then!!!

Was having palpitations in my chest. The physician and nursing staff tended to me immediately. Checked my vital signs, EKG and labs without delay and I was reassured that everything was fine. I was in and out in 30 min. Excellent service and facility.

I presented at River Oaks on Shepherd Friday night at 8 PM with suspected appendicitis. I had almost no wait time before I was seen by Dr. June Mabry, who was most attentive, ordering bloodwork and a COVID test and CT. This was the only glitch in the evening since the CT was down! Arrangements for a transport were made to another CT location. Appendicitis was confirmed and transfer to a hospital in Conroe was arranged, since there either were no beds or a surgeon in Houston. I received excellent cate at Conroe, had the laparoscopic appendectomy by early afternoon and was discharged by 8 PM Saturday night!I highly recommend River Oaks, South Shepherd for a no wait, excellent emergency medical experience!!

DO NOT GO HERE. I am still recovering from a steroid shot that they gave me in the wrong area and they did this on complete purpose. I am currently investigating a malpractice lawsuit. I came to this location for a COVID-19 test. The test was easy & convenient, the staff was very friendly. The whole thing probably took about 45 minutes, and I never had to leave my car. $100. I would recommend this testing facility to anyone!

Stay away from this place! I had two covid test, before I made appointment, I asked how much it cost. they told me $180, and it will cover by my insurance. my insurance paid $5600 for one test, and second test $3850, I still need to pay $2757.43!!! this is crazy and discgsting.

Horrible service. Went for Covid testing and we were the only people there but still waited an hour. We waited over two hours for rapid test results that we were told would only take 15mins. They then kept us on hold for 20 mins when we called for results. Very disappointed. We will NEVER go back!!!!!!!!!

River Oaks Emergency Room was amazing. I had to go in on a Sunday night with a stomach virus and dehydration and they were professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and very helpful. After checking in, we were seen right away and the facilities were very clean. My nurse, Mark, even managed to make me smile and laugh through the pain and nausea. Mark and Dr. Cruz worked quickly to provide me with relief and make me comfortable. Once I wasn’t in so much pain they even sat with me and discussed other medical issues and fun stories to take my mind off how badly I felt. I cannot say enough good things about River Oaks Emergency Room and their staff. They are truly amazing and the kindest medical professionals I have ever met. Highly recommend visiting them any time you aren’t feeling well and need medical attention.

My most recent visits dealing with a spider bite were a little scary for me - but the fabulous Dr. Alexander and the wonderful Dr. Luna along with the incredible nurses and front staff took excellent care of me and now I’m on the road to recovery 😄 THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the entire team!! I went to River Oaks Emergency Room because my cousin was caught sick and it was New Years Eve. The Nurses, Jessica and Cody, were extremely cooperative and supportive, they calmly took us in and assisted us. Not so long after, Dr. Jaime Miravite came in and gave us a thorough diagnosis to my cousins disease and answered all of our questions and made sure to keep us calm. Great staff and very helpful!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A COVID TEST. I’m sitting here fighting for the amount they charged! They are a SCAM! They charged me for an emergency room visit that is NOT what I came for! Never got admitted in an emergency room, drove through a COVID drive...was told to pay $100 (which I did) my insurance would pay $200 right? Got a bill for $7K, got it down to where my insurance paid $390 STILL got a bill just now for $60! Not paying it, not what I was told!

I showed up yesterday doubled over in pain. They took me back got vitals, started IV right away for fluids and IV pain meds. Dr. Hortencia Luna-Gonzales MD and all her nurses, techs and staff were very kind, gentle and attentive to my needs. They quickly got other tests completed. There was absolutely no wait time. I was instantly seen by the nurse, who happens to be the Regional Director of the ER, and he is very down to earth. The staff will help you with everything they have to offer in any situation or duress you think possible. The Dr was upbeat and very attentive. The RN and first Physician I met was polite and caring to my issue. However, when it came time to pay another doctor by the name Dr. Luna was very rude to my situation even though I told her that was not what I was told.

This clinic is very unprofessional and upsetting that I’ve wasted my time going in there. I went in for a Covid-19 test a week ago and I still don’t have my results back. They told me and promised me I would have my results back in 3 business days max. I know 20 people that have been tested at other clinics and have their results by now. They charged me 250 dollars up front for the test. I thot they had my insurance but they didn’t, they didn’t even ask for it. I’ve called countless times and they say a nurse will call me back and no one has called me back yet....My hope is that no one else wastes their valuable time using this clinic during the pandemic because they do not know what they are doing!!!!

Very easy to find, very nice facility and very quick to get me in with medical professionals. I had a tonsillectomy and the wound reopened with pretty bad bleeding for about 15 minutes, got scared and went to closest ER. The nurse was very helpful and friendly, but the doctors bedside manner was not great, especially in the beginning of the visit. He is clearly very knowledgeable and well connected, but I didnt feel like they were truly listening to my concerns.Smooth process, customer service could improve a lot. Felt more like a doctor check up than an I am bleeding into my throat emergency.

If I could give zero stars I would. I came in just after a motor vehicle accident, my brother transported me there instead of going by ambulance. The fire department told me not to go to a major hospital so I didnt I came here. I went in with wrist pain, the fire department said it looked broke. there was an obvious deviation in my arm, my fingers were black and blue and I was in pain. they took xrays but instead of retaking it because the image was too blurry they said it was sprained. the next day they called me and I told them I was still in bad pain and the bruising along with the deviation in my arm. I made an appointment to see a hand surgeon. when I went to the hand surgeon they looked at the xray and said it was too shaken. they retook the xray to find out my wrist was broken and it was severely off angle. that week I ended up having surgery to have 8 screws and a plate. 8 screws! not only that the day after my surgery my liver and stomach started messing up as a result of the accident. my levels were through the roof and I had fluid around my liver. something that was never caught. I can say this they did not do a good job of making sure my body was okay before they said I only had a sprained wrist.

I have only been to this location two times but they are always nice. This office is very clean & the staff are very professional. They like to let you know everything thats going on. The staff likes to get you in and out too.I would recommend this office to anyone I know. I never have any issues when I come here either.Great 24 hour care!!

First Class operation. My name is DINO JOHN and i took my 91 year old mom twice to this clinic and got very well taken care of. I bought the docs 2 dozen roses because they really cared and the price was very reasonable.

Great Experience. Front desk is very helpful. I was seen within 3 minutes of me walking into the ER. The facility was clean and The Nurse and Doctor were very friendly and actually took their time with me.From experience, when I go to an ER, I usually wait up to 5 hours! Here I was seen in 5 minutes and less! Would recommend to all my friends and family! Thank you River Oaks ER!

Dont go here! They are predatory and unethical. I went in for a tetanus shot after cutting my finger on some questionable garden shears. It was after hours, or I would have gone to HEB, CVS or my doctor , but since they were a few blocks away, I went to them. They said that a stitch or two might or may not be necessary, so I did it and was out of there within 40 minutes. (mostly because of the numbing shot). It was empty, they told me to send people it, because it was slow. They had a new technician that was incoherent and nervous because it was here first week. I was nice and said she had to start sometime. Although I have insurance and a concierge doctor or could have gotten this for free -- this facility TRIED TO BILL MY INSURANCE $4986.00. Not only did they pay some, less than me -- because they laughed at the billing. I paid $250.00 that evening and they are still trying to bill me for over $400 additional dollars. I went into the office several times, I wrote letters -- and have since moved to California. They continue to harass me and have sent collection agencies to harass me and ruin my credit rating. This is insane!!!!! It was a nicked finger, I was given a shot and a few stitches that may or not have been necessary -- and they called this a Medical Emergency. Like I said, predatory and unethical. And I have insurance, a doctor -- but Im standing my ground and will start posting this on every site I can think of -- so others know to swear clear of this practice. And I will contact media, BBB and local government so they can be watch dog on unethical businesses like this. Seek your care elsewhere.

Doctors were really helpful and easy to talk to during my visit to the emergency room last night. When I called for my blood test results and more questions they took the time to explain everything to me which I couldnt appreciate more. The night staff was also very nice and incredibly helpful and caring. Thanks guys!

As a healthcare provider myself, I was impressed with the care I received. Dr. Luna was professional, kind, and provided appropriate treatment. The staff was attentive to my comfort and had outstanding skills. I was seen right away when I arrived. There was a patient in the room next to me that was very challenging and demanding, yet was treated with the utmost patience, care, and respect by everyone. A technician had to be called in to do my imaging, and she also was extremely professional and accommodating. I absolutely would seek care at RO Emergency again if needed.

I loved my experience here. I waited for three hours at a Hospital Waiting room and decided to leave because I havent been seen by anyone. I drove to River Oaks ER and there was not wait- as soon as I signed my paperwork, I was in a room with my nurse and doctor. Dr. Alexander and Nurse Jessica was so great and attentive. Highly recommended for those who do not like to wait! Im glad I know about River Oaks ER now.

Brought my mom to this ER because she had a severe cough and high blood pressure. I came to their Katy ER a couple months before, and loved the staff they had there. The River Oaks staff were just as welcoming. My mother told me she appreciated how Dr. Alexander and nurse Orven were very respectful and culturally sensitive of her modesty. I was very distraught in the waiting room as she was getting her tests done, but the comfortable seating and amenities in the lobby definitely put me at a higher level of ease. I really appreciated the fact that the receptionist Gladys spoke to me as I waited in the lobby, because she could tell I was a little distraught.

Super quick visit and zero wait time. The doctor was very informative and makes sure he covers all options for you. Friendly staff and super clean!

This is a great place for emergency care and you are treated like family. I am one who tends to be hard critic when it comes to finding a place with good service but this place won me over.I arrived around 6:30am on a Sunday with severe ear pain. I was greeted by the staff after routine paperwork and insurance verification was completed I was in to see the Dr. in a matter of minutes.The nurse came in right away to take my history then a second nurse came in and introduced herself as she informed me that I had arrived during a shift change and apologized if it the wait seemed long. The wait was not long. She revisited my history and took my vitals.The Dr. came in soon after- she was thorough and explained to me my options for treatment in house and after discharge. The doctor embodied the perfect model in developing a doctor-patient relationship. She quickly gained my confidence and established a good rapport.River Oaks Emergency Center truly values customer service and is exemplified by their staff.Thanks for a great experience.

Dr. J. listened to my situation, asked questions and was sincerely interested in providing the best treatment. Both nurses (Brittany and ?) were friendly and took good care of me.Highly recommend!

Dr. Luna was amazing. She was patient with me and explained everything from beginning to end. The entire staff was helpful... I was greeted by smiling and assuring faces. The wait was a little longer than I would want but once called back to a room, treatment began immediately. I would recommend this center to anyone.

Love our doctors at River Oaks Emergency Rooms who have been looking after my 5year old twins and 1year old baby since birth. Doctors there are very smart and willing to take on hard projects to solve issues with kids and has given great and practical advice. I have been so happy with this practice.

I have always found the River Oaks Emergency Room (Village affiliation) to have excellent doctors, nurses and care. I have been there a number of times with urgent care needs and most recently a head laceration with bleeding. The nurse and doctor took my vitals and examined the would and recommended head staples and a CT scan to ensure there was no bleeding on the brain. Given that they dont take Medicare, I asked about the cost prior to any care being given. I felt the cost in line with the proposed plan. Everything was explained quite well in terms of how I should take care of the head wound, what to watch out for and they followed up to see how I was doing. Yes, I wish they accepted Medicare but for emergencies, it really is quality care.

Can I give less stars? The nurse abused my port to a point of large swelling, and hasn’t been the same since. He claimed he was the director and could influence the doctor, wasn’t what I cared about or believed. I want to speak to the owner to show abusive Regards to my power port! The nurse and doctor deserve to be fired for disregarding a patient in chronic pain! Do they even know the spoon theory? Very uneducated! I am beyond disappointed and my port is still swollen in terrible pain! What can I do now?! This is NOT OKAY!!

Great staff! Fast service. We were attended right away. My son felt safe and comfortable with the nurses and the doctors.

Me and my boyfriend came in this morning and Set up an appointment online. We were placed in a room as soon as we walked in and they were expecting us! Never thought an ER could treat anyone like a VIP but River Oaks did!He had an Iv and medications and fluids going within 30 minutes of coming in. For a horrible day, it was a great experience! FIVE STARS!

The most important characteristic that I look for in a physician is: do they care? If the dr cares, then theyll listen and theyll tap into their training or theyll research and theyll take care of you. Because they care. This ambience of caring is then passed along to their staff. Ive been to this place three times and I hope I dont have to go back to an emergency care center but if I do, as is likely, with an active lifestyle and 6 children, Ill go back to this place- because they care. Service was fine, but it’s insulting that you would give me a basic shot and a prescription for an antibiotic and bill my insurance company over $9000. You did nothing different than one of your competitors did a few weeks later and theirs was a flat cost of $155 without using insurance. First and last visit.
