This place is great! The staff is efficient and gets you in and out. They are nice, caring and are thorough. Additionally, it’s very clean. Fill out all your paperwork online prior to arrival to help expedite the process.

In all my years of working in the medical field, this is far beyond the worst experience I have ever had. I decided to take a position at Ascent and I should have not returned but I wanted to give it a good real try. Not everyone, but some of the staff are very rude and unprofessional. Walking into a new work environment should be a welcoming experience but it wasn’t at all.The hiring manager stated in my interview that “We are like family here” Wrong! My first encounter working with staff in the lab was very uncomfortable. I asked questions to ensure I was following work process but the answers to some of my questions were very off putting and kurt to say the very less.Now, with that being said I totally enjoyed working with the patients! All of them were kind, warm and a joy to be around. The staff on the other really needs some adjustment on work culture! If you ever decide to work here RUNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!I was reprimanded for going to lunch early as directed by my hiring manager, which I thought was very strange. I also thought it was strange for the hiring manager to express the fact that the other staff members were upset with me because she told me to go to lunch! I have always been the type of person to follow rules no matter what! As before, I was told that I wasn’t guaranteed a 30 minute lunch as due to the work load I would have to eat when I could. As this is an emergency center and things happen I complied with everything asked of me.On my second day, I was asked not to have my personal computer to work in the break room, which was fine by me. I was also told that “Everyone” stated that I “Seen” to have an attitude when being asked to do something. I thought that was weird as my natural nature is to be helpful and hospitable in anyway I can be of some assistance to patients and staff.I normally don’t give bad reviews at all but after being exposed to this, I really do hope that things improve.

Dr. Burnette and the rest of the staff on duty the night we came in for an emergency with my 6 week old daughter were absolutely amazing. After a very long day of waiting for another emergency room, we decided to come to Ascent and were seen almost immediately with a very caring staff that helped to comfort our baby and get us results as fast as possible. The Doctor was very caring and helpful with a plan to move forward through my daughters recovery and I would most definitely take the time to drive out here if we need emergency care again because I know we will get excellent quality care.

I have only great things to say about Ascent Emergency Room. From the minute we arrived for our PCR testing, we feel taken care of. The facility is spotlessly clean and the staff was professional and friendly, especially Dr. Tiffany and Nurse Ashlee. Professional, Clean, organized, informative. Spit option for Covid test. Fast and efficient. Only reason I couldnt give 5 stars is because when I called ahead the person on the phone shouldve asked me more questions. It wouldve saved me an hour drive round trip. Its very rare you get customer service like this where every single person from over the phone to in person that has anything to do with servicing you treated you like you were the most important person there. It didnt matter their ethnicity or yours they were very safe and treated myself and my active son well. I would go back again an recommend using them. They have truly helped me to much, I had to go to the emergency room on March around 2018, they knew i lived alone, the doctor really took good care of me, came back again to get a covid test, got my results within the next hours

The physician was very friendly. He took the time to answer all of my questions and patiently explain everything to me. Most importantly, he did not seem to be motivated by money and instead genuinely cares about the health of his patients.

I was a walk-in and was seen within 15 minutes. The medical staff was very courteous n efficient in treating me. Doctor conducted all the appropriate testing and arrived at the conclusion of my medical issue. Both doctor and nurses were very knowledgeable and explained every step and process as it was being conducted. The best medical attention I have received in an Emergency Urgent Clinic ever.

I have never left a bad review but i was so frustrated with their terrible service. I really don’t understand how this place has a good review. This should be a place where people are being treated fairly and with respect, but one of the receptionist completely disrespected me and my family. The receptionist genuinely showed me today how some health careworkers lack service and disregard their patients. I am not sure if it’s because of my family’s ethnicity but i have never felt so disrespected. The receptionist kept neglecting me when I tried to help my family. I called to ask when they could send the covid result and the receptionist told me that the system is down so we would have to come pick them up. So i cancelled my appointment I had and drove through rain and storm to pick up the result but when we got there, they told us to wait 40 minutes. We decided to go back to our home because it was pouring and storming. When we called back, she told us to wait another 3 hours. When we told her that we were there 1 hour ago and that she told us it would be ready in 40min, she again was very rude and tried to ignore what we were saying. She then transferred the call, and the doctor told us that it is ready. It wasn’t the fact that we had to wait for hours because these things could happen. I was very frustrated and angry because of how the receptionist was treating me and my family.

The process was extremely good and rapid. The medical staff members were polite and proficient in responding to any questions.

Bria who works at the front desk the receptionist was Amazing!! She was very personable and had great customer service!! We had to get a rapid covid test to travel at the last minute which was very stressful but Bria made it easy for us. The doctor was also a pleasure! 5 stars!!

Such a pleasant experience (at least to obtain a COVID-19 test for traveling). You schedule online and presubmit all paperwork ahead of time. Once you show up it’s a breeze, with a smile. They can email you the results or hang them to you, stamped.

I drove to Ascent ER from Richmond, TX because I know the staff and doctors at Ascent ER are knowledgeable, skilled and provide excellent care to their patients. When I arrived at the ER I was able to recieve my lab work, CTScan and treatment all in one place. The doctors communicated well and explained each test and procedure to me during my stay to ensure I was comfortable and felt safe. I experienced nothing but quality care when treated and I highly recommend this ER to anyone!

I was very disappointed on the service yesterday (8/31). I scheduled a covid test for travel requirement at 6:45pm. I came 3 minutes early. There were only a few people in the waiting room. The receptionist told me that there would be around 20 minutes waiting time. I decided to wait outside. Many people went in and out but I was not called in. 30 minutes later I went inside, only one guy was waiting. I was told that all the people in front of me were due to emergency. (I didnt see an ambulance, nor series injured or ill patient.) While continue waiting, I saw a girl, who came after me, returned back asked for covid test report she just did. The guy standing behind me at the register was also done and walked out with his family. Finally, after over 40 minutes waiting, I was allowed in for my test as the last person in the waiting room! I choose this place because it has very high rating. But it is not the case!

Prompt and kind service from start to finish! It started with Jake being patient with the numerous calls and questions I had, prior to making an appointment, about getting my COVID-19 PCR testing done there before my 40th Birthday trip. Not only was he empathetic and compassionate he was also diligent in explaining everything in a manner which put me at ease. His attentiveness is why I scheduled. Upon arrival he greeted me with a smile as he checked me in and yet reassured me that all would go well. I was then taken back by Ms. Danni who also was very warm friendly and thorough! She explained both options whereby I was yet again pleased with the patience care and concern bestowed upon me. I was nervous, admittedly, but she smiled and said you’ll do fine. Lastly, the attending ER physician came in with a kind spirit to ask questions. Simply awesome!!! I’m huge on service and someone caring about my concerns and they exceeded my expectations! Far different than what I’ve experienced at other facilities. I’m certain others would share the same sentiment!

Very Attentive & Gentle Staff & Doctors. From the Time we walk through the door in till when we left. I went in for abdominal pain and they found the problem within hours. Help me to feel more relaxed while they did a ultrasound imaging and gave me an IV. I would definitely recommend this ER for any of your urgent care needs

This was our first visit to this ER. My experience from check-in to discharge was very pleasant. We saw Dr. Burnette and he was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We were able to ask questions and converse with him. We did not feel rushed or abandoned like we have in other ERs. I definitely recommend to everyone. Excellent job to all staff!!

Amazing care!! The staff is absolutely amazing! They were able to do labs, ct scans and know the answers immediately. The staff checks on you around the clock, they have a very close communication loop so it makes it easy to get answers from anyone. My mom was staying with me, and they made her feel comfortable and even got her a bed to sleep on. I recommend Ascent Emergency 100%!

If you are a traveler during these pandemic times and required to get a quick and easy Covid-19 Molecular: PCR Test 72 hours prior to departure this IS THE PLACE TO GO!! Absolutely efficient, quick and easy with a very personable staff! Your results come back to you via email within 1-3 hours since they have the PCR equipment to read your sample, password protected and easy to download and print. This couldn’t be anymore easier.

Easy to schedule, choice of saliva vs nasal swab, quick turnaround time, one swab tests for other viruses as well (like common cold), and Dani Nunez was great with my kid.

The doctor and nurse I saw was very nice and quick with things so I could get in and out quick. I reduced a star due to the front desk staff member. When I first came into the door to check in for my appointment I stood there for a while without him even acknowledging me, not even a “one moment please”. It seemed assembling the patients folders was too important for him to stop for a moment to briefly check me in which only took a few seconds since I had already registered online. I feel he needs to rearrange his priorities.. patients first then go back to your folders but this issue wouldn’t prevent me from coming here again.

If you want to go somewhere where your health care is actually valued I would highly recommend coming here 10/10. All the staff were extremely sweet and seemed to genuinely care about making me feel better. They didn’t just give me something and send me home they actually made me stay longer just to ensure I was truly okay to go home. They’re also the first office to give me a scan to make sure I wasn’t having any internal issues big name hospitals haven’t even done that for me. Don’t waste your tome going to the big name hospitals because they don’t care about their patients at all compared to this flawless service I experienced last night. Hopefully I won’t have to return but if I do I know i’ll be in the BEST hands.

Very clean establishment and very professional staff and the doctor was kind and she had a great bedside manner. I was seen within 5 minutes . I did fill out all my paperwork on line which made my visit go smoothly.I like their processes and how they treat patients. I will be back and I will share this with my neighbors and community which is 2 minutes from the clinic.

Best service Ive had all year. I had just been in the ER at St.Lukes a few weeks ago, and two days later I ended up at Ascent for an induced panic attack, and Ascent was so much of a better experience. Wasnt much they could do for me here, but they were very kind and compassionate, and they let me get a room right away.

I usually go to the hospital when I need urgent care, but a friend told me about Ascent and I must say I was very pleased with the care and the professionalism from the entire staff. I loved the fact that they called me the next day to make sure I was okay. I do hate they dont take Medicare and hopefully when I get the bill I will be pleased with it also. I definitely will use them again even if I have to play out of pocket. Fantastic service!

Ascent EMC is an amazing team of medical professionals. I have used them for my COVID testing since you can set an appointment and receive your results in a timely manner. They have always be fun, personable, professional and patient (since I dont like getting tested). If you are looking for a great team to get COVID testing from, they are the BEST. My experience was very positive despite the medical emergency . The receptionist was able to move me quickly out of the waiting room and into a room. The DR. informed me of treatment options and honored what I decided to do . Although extremely painful he executed it quickly and then had the nurse watch me for a while to ensure I could handle the meds physically . Gave me a RX for pain once my BF came to take me home .The nurse Diane was a seasoned pro and called it how it was , I appreciated that honestly.I was in and out in 3 hours and with a couple days healing time I’m finally starting to feel better.Excellent ER center , I’ll use them again if I ever have any after hour emergencies .

I was there July 2020 and because of the professional and friendly staff I didn’t mind making the hour drive there again! The office is clean and my whole visit took less than 15 minutes!

The building was new and spotless clean and everything happened rapidly with minimal to no wait. I will recommend this facility to any friends, family, or colleagues in need of emergency care. It combines the expeditious service of an urgent care with the high level overnight care provided by large medical center hospitals.

The person who conducted my daughter’s COVID-19 nasal swab test for COVID-19 was so gentle and caring. She told my daughter to inhale as she swabbed and gently swabbed. I have never seen a lab tech be so gentle with swabbing over the last 20 years. My daughter was prepared for a painful experience and it was not painful at all. This lady should train all lab techs on how to properly swab.

This was my second time receiving a Covid test at this facility. The staff was reassuring and welcoming. The covid test was quick but gentle and the turnaround time for a PCS results is quicker than the standard 24-72 hours offered by other facilities. 100% recommend.
