This place lives up to all the positive reviews. I recently visited for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by their examination equipment and pleasant staff. The TVs on the ceiling are a nice touch as well. I must say, I’ve never had such a thorough examination until I came here. Unfortunately some cavities were discovered during my exam, but they were able to accommodate me by squeezing me in for another appointment a week later to get them filled. Considering it’s back to school season, I appreciated their consideration with fitting me in during this demanding time. I’ve definitely found my new dental home!

Great customer service and excellent work. Dr Barron was so nice and friend. She kept asking me if I was ok while working on my teeth. She made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. I was a little hesitant in the beginning going to them, because of my past experience with my other dentist. But I would definitely recommend my friend and family to them.

I just brought my elderly 90 year old mother to have a general cleaning. From the first person I spoke to, to the person examining my mother, the office was informed that my mother was there for a general cleaning and that it was her first visit. I also informed the office that my mom had not had a cleaning for 1 year, as well as she had Periodontal disease. After 2 hours of time wasted, we are waiting to schedule the next appointment when I learn that the office didnt clean my mothers teeth as we had requested. They just examined her mouth then sent her back out. My mother even told the lady looking at her that she was supposed to have her teeth cleaned and the lady said NOTHING in response.How stupid and incompetent can an entire dental staff be, that after being repeatedly told we were there for a cleaning, they then charge 99 dollars but dont clean her teeth? Not a single person who works there ever said they were not going to clean her teeth. They completely wasted our time and money. The office is the epitome of unprofessionalism and stupidity.

I can not give this entire staff enough praise!! I have extreme anxiety and going to the dentist is really hard for me. I saw Dr. Barron and she was so sensitive to my situation and was able to put me at ease. Every staff member I have interacted with there has been so pleasant and accommodating. I definitely will be less nervous for my future visits knowing I’ll be walking in this office!

I usually have an amazing experience that’s why I keep going back for years from Dickinson TX. But the last 2 X the receptionist has not been a good experience maybe it’s because the person who they usually have at the front now sits in the back, she always goes over and beyond trying to making you feel welcomed and giving her best always!! Today I had to wait over an hour for my 1130 apt. I am very disappointed

My visit was okay, but the lady cleaning my teeth hurt me so bad. I would prefer to keep the same person Im comfortable with and the same dentist as well. That is the only issue I have with them.

Sarah (hygiene) is so pleasant and she does an amazing job of explaining oral care to everyone, my son loves her! All of the doctors here go above and beyond to treat each patient like family. I absolutely love this place and all the staff!!!

I truly enjoyed my visit today. I loved everything. Their safety protocol due to covid and most importantly the entire staff! They greet you once you come in right away and you don’t have to wait. They get started quickly and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The lady working with me kept asking me and my kids if we were okay did we need anything. I came today with my 2 children and including myself, we all seen the dentist and I just love how they all worked efficiently while continuously smiling! It was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back!

This was my initial visit. I was made very comfortable from the moment I entered the office by the front office staff. The dental hygienist ( I am so sorry that I forgot get name 😏), was knowledgeable and pleasant. Dr. Shaw explained my treatment plan very clearly. I was referred here by a co worker, I am glad that I was ☺️.

Dr. Barron is a miracle worker. I cant stop looking at what she did for me. Im not sure how but Im so very satisfied. I was nervous and anxious going in as a new patient. As soon as she walked in, she completely helped relieve me. She is really personable and talks with you the whole time. My insurance plan said that there were so many others that had my plan that went to her so I decided to just try her. Now I see why! I would want all the people I love to go to her. I will never see anyone else.

The Dr Puckett was a very nice and gentle professional. My wisdom tooth extraction was done in less than an hour with no pain. The dental assistant Sabrina was sweet and answered my questions. The office staff is professional and friendly.

Dr. Helen Barron took time from her busy schedule to see my father who was dealing with a severe tooth ache. She took the time to listen to him and found the best treatment plan for what he needed. My dad doesn’t speak English so the office staff went above and beyond to find someone who was able to communicate with him.Definitely recommend this office!

I’ve been a happy patient for about 8 years. Today, my daughter went in for some fillings. Dr. Shaw and her assistant did a wonderful job taking care of my baby girl. She was calm and comfortable. I appreciate their efforts making what could have a traumatic experience a comforting one for my daughter.

It’s been years since I’ve been to the dentist so was a little hesitant. However, the moment I walked in the door Sarah at the front desk made me feel welcomed and comfortable.Sarah Travis was my hygienist. Her years of experience really show. She explained everything thoroughly as she did my X-rays and checked my gums. She was also extremely gentle as she cleaned my teeth.Fortunately even after all the years of not going to the dentist, my teeth got an A+ rating. Dr. Barron did my final exam, and had I needed any work, she would be the one I’d request.The office is nice and clean...and really love the TVs on the ceiling in the room.I’ll be back here for sure.

I have been going to Pearland family dentistry for over a year. My family sees Dr. Shah. Not only did she take the time to explain everything to me but also to my teenage son. He needed braces and she recommended an orthodontist that we have been very pleased with. Based on the care she’s given us, I trust her expertise. I work in healthcare myself as a provider so I can be particular when it comes to who we see. I have had two different hygienists and both were great. I feel safe going here with a pandemic going on based on the extra precautions everyone in the office used.

I’m going to be very honest and say that for YEARS I was terrified to go to the dentist( horrible experience in the past) . So bad that I neglected to ever go. I had a horrible experience at the dentist when I was around 8, which scarred me and it’s safe to say I’m not fond of going to the dentist. My son was scared as well, but they gave him such a nice and pleasant experience (nothing like my first dentist!) and they were full of patience! I think he’ll be excited from now on. Dr. Shah was very helpful in informing of my treatment. She also has a very light hand so you don’t feel so much pressure. The Hygienist was quick when she was working on my deep cleaning. She was very courteous. Making sure i was comfortable at all times. The ladies here in Pearland Family Dentistry are always nice and polite. If ever I had questions, they are quick to assist me and answer them. I enjoy coming here for all my teeth needs lol.

I can’t speak highly enough of this office. A few years back, I was in need of a dentist due to some tooth pain and booked an Appointment here based on reviews. My appointment then and every other one after has been nothing sort of great. I also began taking my 7 year old son here after several disappointing visits with pediatric dentists. They’re reasonably priced, great bed side manner

Dr. Shah is very professional and caring my 7 year old son felt extremely comfortable and even said he was happy during his filling procedure. Love this practice and will continue going in the future.

Reviewers are right, this is a convenient and well decorated office. My cleaning was adequate. However I have significant problems with their communication. First, despite having spoken to two different people and completing the new patient paperwork online prior to my appointment, it was not until after my appointment that they informed me that they did not have any providers in network with my insurance. I was told, sorry, it was a really busy week. Second, throughout the process for me and my 5 year old son no one really spoke to us except for one hygienist who happened to be agency and not even a regular employee of the office. Third, they told me my son had to have several cavities filled with potential root canals. This was surprising and worrisome to me because if his age and also because we practice good habits at home; however there was NO discussion with us about the procedures for this kind of work for a young child, no reassurances of how they would work with him or us to keep him comfortable, no acknowledgement that this was clearly upsetting news. They did, however, take an extra 20 minutes to have me meet with some person whose role was not clear who took the time to explain in detail what the anticipated charges would be and only then explained that they were not in network. So now I must not only pay more for this visit, but I have to spend more time finding a new provider which will delay my kid getting the treatment he needs. This was not the warm, inviting, friendly feel of a dental office that I am used to. I left feeling deceived and uninformed.

Loved the hygienist and the dentist. This was my first visit and I can see why people come here. They are nice and informative thy dont push to get things if u dont want them. I asked about getting my teeth whitening and the dentist recommend in at home treatment first because I might get better results and it will cheaper. That is what I like honestly. I felt so comfortable there. Another thing that I like was the fact that you can fill out all your information online through their website so much better than trying to fill it out there. I also like they had payment plans that dont break the bank which is very convenient for many people because life happens and you might not be able to pay everything up front. They are so understanding and they can always work with you. This is the only place I will coming to now. Thank you so much for making this a very pleasant and fun experience. I absolutely hate going to the dentist. However, from the minute you walk into the door to the moment you leave you are greeted with a smile and treated so nice. I never felt pushed to get work done, or nervous.I was brought to this facility because I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled, and my previous dentist was going to cost triple what I paid here. I have taken my son (who doesnt do too well at the dentist) they were completely understanding, help make light of the situation and worked hard to get vitamins so on his teeth and complete full exam.The staff was quick, proactive, and they diligently worked with my insurance to get everything covered before surgery. My surgery was quick and essentially painless. I often get anxious, and felt at ease the entire time, and even after. The surgeon had followed up with me to make sure Im feeling okay. I would definitely recommend.

Myself and two daughters were seen for routine check ups. Our experience was great, we were evaluated and treated in a timely manner. Everyone who had a hand in our care was very informative and answered all our questions. I was especially satisfied with the fact that I could sit in with my children as they were being treated.I went back today to have additional work done and it was completed in under an hour. Another great experience.

Everyone from the first person you see walking in the door to the last person you talk to about payments and scheduling is so kind and helpful. There is no shaming here, and everyone goes above and beyond to make you comfortable every step of the way. The front desk staff is always friendly over the phone and in person. The office is very clean with up to date equipment and office decor. The assistant that I saw was friendly and quick and efficient in taking my x-rays. The hygienist is very kind and personable. She also provided a pain free cleaning. The dentist I saw took the time to answer concerns that I had and explain everything to me. My children also have had very good experiences at this office. My nervous teenager feels very comfortable and confident with the dentist she sees and the assistants that work with her.

I had a root canal today and I was scared out of my mind!! But everyone is so reassuring and made sure I was always comfortable. I’m so glad I found this dental office. They are professional and caring. My whole family has had a great experience here.

In their defense the front staff was really nice and helpful. The assistant was super nice and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and Dr. Puckett was very nice and knowledgeable. Now, with that being said the cause of breakdown in communication in that office is Dr. Shah, who has terrible bedside manners and is not very good at basic interaction.I had to visit the office twice. First time saw Dr Shah, who came in the room and spoke to me from behind my seat and pretty much told me, this is what you need. I told her I didnt agree, since she hadnt explained anything about why she thought that was the best course of treatment. To which she responded by as condescendingly as possible. I repeated I would not extract a molar just because of an infection, and what happened next is the reason for this review being negative despite everyone else being so nice. She left the room to never return. Yes, mid conversation without one word or explanation. The assistant seemed embarrassed and kept trying to make me comfortable. By the time I realized she wasnt coming back the front desk already had an appointment ready for me to see Dr Puckett the next day, which leads me to believe she does this often. That was unprofessional and so unnecessary. All I needed was an explanation, Im not just letting you do whatever you decide in my oral care without enough information. So, avoid her if you can.The next day my visit with Dr Puckett went well. I didnt like that he tried to excuse her behavior by saying she was having an off day, but I moved on because at the end of the day I dont have to deal with her incompetence ever again. Hes very nice and definitely knows his stuff. But most of all he has social skills! Wow. He made me comfortable with the treatment plan we chose, which was not what Dr Shah had recommended. I had planned to go back to see Dr Puckett to start the treatment but decided to go to a different Dentist once I realized I had been given a Prescription for another patient the day I saw Dr Shah. That was the last drop for me.So, good luck if you decide to go to this Dentist. I would just request Dr Puckett. Had I seen him from the beginning I would probably still be a patient there.P.s. They are charging a $10 surcharge for covid even if you dont have a copayment, so be ready for that.

This is an AWESOME office! From beginning to end. The have GREAT communication! I received reminders about my appointment via text message, they reminded me about needing my pre medication and called it to the pharmacy for me, and when I arrived, they even took me in early. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. They do everything they can to make you comfortable. I have referred several friends and they have been just as pleased.

Sara the hygienist was incredibly great with my 3 year old. She let her know what she was doing before doing it. My toddler was super relaxed I was so impressed. Sara was incredibly intuitive and nurturing which is a huge deal to me. Also, I went the week before with Esmeralda and she was personable, funny and kind which made the time enjoyable and pass quickly.

Excellent service all the way around. At first I questioned the almost 500 top reviews that I saw online, but no longer. Dr Shah and her dental technicians were outstanding. I felt no pain throughout the entire extraction of a molar. The thing that most impressed me was their honesty.Dr Shah told me that there was only a 40% chance that a root canal would save the tooth and recommended extraction. That saved me somewhere between $700 - $1200.

I absolutely love it here. I usually get both my daughter and myself teeth Cleanings during back to back appts. We are always out of the office at the right time. Even when I moved to the medical center, I still drive this way because I refuse to switch. I have weak enamel and teeth cleanings make me nervous. The hygienists are so gentle and they always make sure they aren’t hurting me. They also don’t make me feel bad about if I need anything done. My daughter loves it as well her cleanings are relaxing while she watches my little pony lol. Never leaving!
