Really enjoyed this spa experience last week! My sister took me here for a belated birthday present and we were both wowed by the personal experience provided. They make you wash your hands first upon entering the spa (obviously great too because we can use the bathroom before the appointment). Then the waiting area is super fragrant and relaxing. Jill was my esthetician and my sister had Tamara. Both ladies did amazing taking care of our skin and suggested products specific to our skin type (which we both took and bought). I purchased the prickly pear oil and have been using it twice daily to help with my dark spots. I can see my face brighten already but I know it will take time for the sunspots to slowly disappear so hopefully it will work! We will be back!

I have been to this spa for about 6 months now and try to get a monthly facial here! It’s something that I’m willing to splurge on and it’s SO WORTH IT! The staff makes you feel so welcome and your comfort is their highest priority. I’ve been going to Tamara every time and she really takes care of me! She gets so excited about my skin progress and gives awesome advice. These facials will change your life and make you question why you didn’t get one sooner!!

I went here for the first time for a 2hr massage service with Rudy. Excellent customer service from the staff upon entry. Beautiful relaxation/waiting area. Rudy chatted with me to find out about my back issues and problem areas and seemed very knowledgeable. The table was very comfortable and heated as well. This was the Best massage I’ve ever had! And I am very particular about massages. It was like going to see a massage therapist, chiropractor and (silent)personal trainer all in one! Rudy understood that I need stretching to go along with my massage and I left feeling amazing. Its over 2 days later now and I still feel great. Usually my pain relief only lasts 1/2-1day. I will definitely return!

Amazing experience, it was my 1st time getting a prenatal massage and facial. And I wish I would have gone sooner. From booking to paying was a smooth process. There were some issues with the payment that they made the process supper easy.

Tween facial was perfect!My daughter & I are having a short girls getaway this weekend so I wanted to do something special for her. Shes 11yo, so there werent many places that would do a facial. The Tween Facial at Sanctuary was perfect for her, though. Tamara, her aesthetician, took a lot of time to make sure she was comfortable and talk to her about taking care of her skin. While my daughter was getting her facial, I got to relax in the lounge area, and the massage chair was awesome! I highly recommend this place for the level of service they offer!

This is an amazing spa which I only recently discovered (via a friends referral) and Im so glad I did. I booked half a day at the spa for my birthday. Kicked off with a 90-min massage with Tina (who was amazing!) followed by a yoni steam treatment (tried it for the first time, and will definitely head back for follow ups). Everything about my experience was incredible. The staff was super nice, professional and attentive. Its a quiet facility; I think they manage the number of customers they allow at a time, which I appreciated as I got the peace and quiet I was hoping for, and isnt that why we head to spas to begin with! If yall havent tried yoni, give it a chance. You wont be disappointed. Tina, my massage therapist, was amazing! She gave a top notch massage and hit all the right points. My next appointment is with Kim, look forward to some more relaxing time.

I am a member and absolutely love this spa. Sanctuary is definitely a great way to describe the experience. Rudy is the absolute best. He takes his job seriously and has an understanding of tissue and muscle down to the science. I recommend getting on the schedule and becoming a member.

Wonderful experience overall! My cousin and I drove in from Beaumont Texas just to treat ourselves to a mom day it was well worth the drive. Everything was so clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The staff is very punctual. They are right there at your every step to make the experience what its suppose to be. Relaxing. From the massage, to the yoni-extended, even the quality my cousin recieved from her brazilian wax everything was top tier. They make sure to follow CDC guidelines in the best ways they can. More than just a relaxing experience!

Sanctuary Spa is a great place for healing the body. I suffer from sciatica nerve damage. But they took the responsible of caring for me anyway. Before going there I could barely walk. It seemed as if laying in my bed was the only kind of relief I could find. My husband and I were not enjoying each other much either. Because everything was painful. But Sanctuary Spa used their G-5 cellulite treatment and I cant believe what a difference it made. If was design to attack cellulite or cellulose and it did I am sure. But it also took all the pressure off my sciatic nerve. I was told the next day I would have some pain but the next day I am walking more than the day before. My husband says I went up and down the stairs 15 times if not more. He was not playing I counted the times too.You gave me back my life and my husband and I will always recommend Sanctuary Spa. I would rather give my money to you all any day than any doctor. I know you dont treat conditions directly but indirectly you killed two birds with one stone. If you ask my husband he may even say 3 birds( enjoying each other again is an added bonus). Again I cant thank you enough.I pray people flow into your business. They will never regret it nor stop coming.Professional, Clean, Freindly and Miracle Workers. Thank you

We had an amazing first time visit for a couple’s massage at The Sanctuary Spa! My husband and I both fell in love with the ambiance and personalized treatment. I let them know I had lower back issues and they completely honored my request with care. From the minute we walked in to the signature massage experience, we were treated like royalty! It was the sweetest experience. We can not wait to go back! :)

The facial was for an hour...the last 10-15 minutes were the best of the entire time ..while i stated at the beginning with her that i came to this spa for 2 main goals , glow and relaxationShe finished, room is dark low lighting , no mirror i wanted to see my face to evaluate results, i had to go to restroom to have a mirror...wasn’t impressed, not different than the regular skin care routine i do at night . I had a lot of white heads under skin needed to be removed by a facial tech like her but i was her last client i guess thats why she decided to do quick rush service .The outcome result was , NO glow , No complete extraction on whiteheads, 10-15 minutes comfortable feeling out of the 1 hour journey.Unfortunately not satisfied😔, I did tipped her generously in spite of that.

Jillian was a great aesthetician and I appreciated her taking time to customize the facial based on my personal needs. I will definitely be going back!

I absolutely love this spa. Everytime I feel so relaxed. Their waiting room is calm, relaxing. They are amazing and make each person feel like they are the only one there. This is the only spa I will go to.

Yoni steam and Prosecco??? Amazing! Regina assisted me with a yoni steam and explained everything so thoroughly to me. It was my first yoni steam and I’m highly considering adding it to monthly regime and definitely bringing a friend with me next time. The room I was in had 4 chairs for yoni steam, so it made for the perfect environment to bring your girlfriends and relax. Regina set me up with a gown to wear and assisted me on how to sit properly over the steam. She checked in on me every few minutes to make sure I was doing well and even brought me a glass of Prosecco. The aroma from the steam was very soothing and beneficial to my yoni, and I also really appreciated the aromatic cold towels she brought to prevent me from overheating. Can’t wait for my next service! 10/10

I had a wonderful experience with Jenni, she was amazing. After my massage I felt like new! I always have back problems but Jenni definitely made my back feel like new. Highly recommend Sanctuary Spa, very professional staff and the rooms are very nice and clean.

Alright so after my not so ideal experience at Sanctuary the first go around, the owner, Sabrina sent me a message on Yelp and followed up with a call to talk to me about my experiences. She was very professional, did not try to make excuses and reassured me that she would talk to other clients with the same masseuse that day to see if they had the same experiences. She was courteous and extended an offer for me to come back so that they could make it right - now I dont expect businesses to do this because I understand they lose money but I really appreciated the gesture and it shows me that Sabrina really wanted to fix the issue. It also shows good business practice and that the business has a gold standard they want to achieve and wont accept anything but perfection. So thank you Sabrina for making right, in doing so youve gained another repeat customer and hopefully recommendations for others to come!As for my second experience here, it was definitely way way better than the first. I was greeted and checked-in by Sabrina herself. Then I was lead to the back room and the girl offered to set up the massage chair for me this time around. That was really helpful cause I had no idea the first time how to do it. She even offered me water, tea or snacks! Again, missing from the first experience. I was able to relax in the massage chair for about 10 mins before my masseuse Nakia (apologize if I got the name wrong) grabbed me. She discussed my expectations and needs and she actually listened to what I told her, everything was what I wanted and more! Her motions are fluid, her pressure was softer than I would like but also so on point - I know that doesnt make sense but every time I had the urge to tell her to increase the pressure, it was just enough that it was relaxing and not painful and I could also feel that it was helpful - kneading out my knots and pulling in all the right places! Im glad I let her work her magic! The only complaint was the massage oil was a menthol - which made me smell like a grandma afterwards and made me feel so cold during the whole massage. Im sure it was good for my muscles though so I cant complain too much. The hot towels were amazing and so was the heated massage bed - not something I experienced the first time.Overall, I would love to see Nakia again and Im glad she was made lead masseuse at Sanctuary! Cant wait to go back for more and for a facial!

I booked a 90 min massage w/ Jenny & a 75 min facial w/ Kim for my birthday. There wasn’t any time slots back to back, so I had to book them about 2 hours apart, but it wasnt the biggest deal. Jenny was amazing, very attentive. I fell asleep w/in 10 min of the session & will definitely be coming back. Kim was knowledgeable & responsive, but I wish she would have gone into detail about what she was doing during the session. Also, she was a little rough around the eye area when she was wiping product away. My goal for both the facial & massage was to relax, so I can understand why she didn’t want explain every little thing. Everyone at Sanctuary Spa was very sweet & professional & they even gave me a birthday card at the end! Overall, I definitely will be coming back to Sanctuary Spa & recommend both Jenny & Kim.

Got a massage with Jenny. Super wonderful and relaxing, and she gave me some stretching tips so I can avoid some of the painful knots I get from work.The office was Covid-Conscious, which was super appreciated.

Kim did my brow shape and tint. She did a great job! First time coming there since my other lady closed due to covid. Went to another lady elsewhere that was not great! I was very impressed with this place. Would go back again for sure.Went back and got the HENNA. She did another great job and they are very nice. Highly recommend it. It is a bit more than my last place but worth it!

Sanctuary Spa customer service was excellent! I had a wonderful first time experience with the hot stone massage. My massage therapist was very welcoming and explained every step, made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The massage was phenomenal and the heat from the stones relieved the tension of my muscles. I highly enjoyed my session and will absolutely recommend this facility to others.

My wife and I came for a couples massage for 90 minutes and it was incredibly relaxing and informative. Our masseuses (Rudy and Jenny) were able to give us tips for at home stretches and activities that we can do to help us after our massage as well. In addition there is a lovely cafe right next door where you can grab a bite to eat after your massage to top off a great day!

I had a 90 minute massage by Tina and it was the best massage of my life! She found every problem area on my back and worked through them. The spa itself is intensely relaxing. I searched for a while to find a perfect spa in Houston after moving back 6 months ago. So happy Sanctuary and Tina are here to keep Houston pampered.

I had been wanting to go to Sanctuary Spa for years after reading that it is one of Houstons best day spas. I finally got myself there, and I couldnt have been happier! The whole experience was FANTASTIC!From the front desk area to the relaxation room before your treatments to the beautiful treatment rooms, the space and the people were all top notch!But, the real magic was the facial...and Jess! WOWSA!! I loved every single second of it! Jess was so nice, professional, and clearly very skilled. I cannot wait to book my next appointment. I will definitely be going back ASAP! I give Jess 10 stars!They also knew my birthday was coming up, so I got a bday discount and a sweet bday card. I was going to give this place 5 stars ⭐️ because Jill and Jenny were amazing but the girls taking your appointment and charging horrible I guess they don’t know what they’re doing first I said this is a gift! for my mom please don’t say the price out loud please put on the notes she say yup will do, after our relaxing massage and facial go out to pay first thing girl does is Yell it’ll be 1$$$ am like really!! Mom went back to be worried because it was a lot money so there goes her stress free day..Then proceeds to charge the wrong amount next day am getting calls that they need to charge more because they made a mistake so if u need to make an appointment do it online and triple check the price they’re telling u and charging you is right!! Or also just pay online 🤷‍♀️

Incredible first experience at Sanctuary Spa. Everything was top notch, from the space itself to the awesome therapists. I started out with a massage with Kim M and it was by far the best massage I’ve ever had. She is clearly very skilled but beyond that, she is super attentive, observant, and professional. Oh and the aromatherapy was divine. The massage was followed up with an infusion tub therapy session, which was everything I hoped it would be and more. Jess W made me feel so comfortable and pampered from the very beginning, and tailored the treatment just for me, based on advice provided by Kim regarding some extra fluid retention that she noticed during the massage. The result was awesome, relaxing, and rejuvenating. I will definitely be back, and will be asking for Jess and Kim!

I had the most unique and personalized massage, ever! Lindsey was amazing, very in tune and knowledgeable. The overall atmospheres so nurturing, along with an excellent staff. This is my first time trying this place out. I found them on google & decided to give them a try due to their good reviews. I went for a v-steam, and I initially was nervous. Amanda was very knowledgeable & made me very comfortable. I just wish I wouldve paid for more time. I will definitely be coming back.

This was the second year we celebrated my daughter birthday at the spa. We had an Akasuri Scrub with Lauren T. It was absolutely the best ever scrub we have ever had. When we travel we like to book scrubs at different spas. Lauren is on the very top of the list. The Spa is very clean and relaxing. Cant say enough good things. Thank you Lauren.

The customer service was great. The only things is for the Yoni Steam they dont offer different herbs for different problems. There is only one herb blend used for Yoni steam.

I went in to get the Vichy shower and a massage. Normally when going to a place to receive a one on one service, im usually timid and it takes time for me to warm up to nice conversation with the staff. Here, I felt really comfortable. I love the tranquil atmosphere and the low lit rooms. All of the room designs fit together to create a nice ambiance. I left feeling loose and relaxed. Ill definitely be back.

The place is cozy, clean very friendly staff you will feel very comfortable around them they are very down-to-earth. Now the massage is out of this world it is super super fantastic. I had an excellent first experience at Sanctuary Spa. I booked a 60 minute Signature Massage with Lindsey and a 60 minute Breas Signature Restorative Facial with Jill. Both technicians were kind and professional, and both services were relaxing and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the aroma therapy throughout each service. I will definitely come back to Sanctuary Spa.

I received a Yoni steam, Facial and massage. I enjoyed all of my services. I booked an immediate appointment for the next week to get another massage. Tina is my new best friend!!! She did things to my back that made me feel like I had two glasses of full-bodied red wine!!! Imagine trying to drive from their location to Rosharon, TX....Nothing short of a miracle worker!! I usually never do reviews but I had the most amazing spa experience with Latonya at sanctuary spa. As soon as i walked in the door my spa experience began with being escorted to the relaxation room to sit in a massage chair, have hot tea, and relax until Latonya was ready for me. Latonya was very professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring towards my needs. we went over my skin concerns as i had previously had a facial done at another place four days prior that had left my skin highly irritated, red, and blotchy. Latonya made sure i was completely relaxed and comfortable every step of the way. Latonyas hand are amazing and gave the the best massage experience with a facial that I have ever had. I was instantly distressed and I left her room with a soothed glowing hydrated complexion again. I will definitely be a return customer of Latonyas and the sanctuary experience.

Everything was wonderful, I had the Korean Scrub with Donato and I was very happy with it. There were two issues that I did have or I would have given it 5 stars.1.The description didnt include having my hair washed and that caught me off guard because I am very particular about what I put in my hair since it is chemically treated. They used a generic shampoo and I ended up having to go straight home and re-wash my hair. Another, more personal, reason is that I hate shampoo bubbles and I was extremely uncomfortable during that part. It wasnt a huge deal but I would have liked to have known beforehand so I could have requested that that part get skipped.2. It was very unclear about what to do with my things- there is no locker room but robes in the restroom. I wasnt sure if I should change... or why else they were there... but since I wasnt told what to do I let them be and just stayed in my clothes and held onto my things in the waiting lounge. In the waiting/relaxation area there was a woman on her cellphone talking loudly- it would have been nice if maybe the staff had taken notice because she was on it for a while (and then proceeded to talk to herself about it after the call ended which was a bit odd but entertaining)Not huge inconveniences but worth mentioning to the next person looking to come here. I would definitely go again and I would recommend the Korean Scrub for sure!

I am not a person who typically posts reviews BUT I felt compelled to. My spa experience started off with a salt scrub done by Kim. I must say it was really nice. Next I had a 60 minute massage followed by the 60 minute facial. Both of those treatments were performed by Jessica. Omg she is amazing! She took her time and explained what she was doing throughout. I definitely will be back soon. Thanks Jess and Kim for the wonderful day!

Me and my wife stopped in for a 1 hour couples massage and it was so great! Everybody was very nice and professional! The massage was very relaxing and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Would highly recommend them for this!

I had the most amazing facial with Courtney. It was a gift for Mothers Day from my son and daughter in law. I told her she needed Angel added to her job description. The facility and staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be a regular customer.

I love this place! I discovered it while they were at their old location and was happy they moved to the Shepherd location. I was surprised that I hadnt written a review sooner considering Ive been here a few times already!The staff is super friendly and all the services Ive had are great! Especially the facials! The prices are affordable as well and the staff will advise you to let them know if you feel any discomfort at all during the facial. My skin feels refreshed and rejuvenated after the facials, and I feel so relaxed!Another benefit is that they dont put pressure on you to buy products. They recommend products to you during your session and afterwards but they dont push you towards one thing or another. Thank goodness!Love this place -- my go to for facials and relaxation!

This place provides lots of different kinds of banya: Finnish, Russian and Turkish. Also several pools and a jacuzzi. You can watch hockey after you get some rest in the sauna. I really like to spend time there. The only thing that surprised me is a lot of naked people. This banya allows to feel free for any kind of persons, so watch your back))

My favorite spa in Houston. Its not super fancy but gives you exactly what you need regarding any service. Always professional, courteous and great quality for massages and facials. If youre looking for some place without the fluff this is your spot.

Place is nice and clean. I was planning to get a few months of electrolysis, but, my first visit wasnt very pleasant after my treatment. The girl in the front tried to cheat me by saying my gift card only had $80. All my information was gathered the day I set up the appointment including the amount of the card so she knew the exact amount. Then, I got home and I started having a bad reaction from the treatment, I called the spa twice and asked to speak with Jess to let her know and get her advice, I was told she was busy but will pass my message and Jessica would call me back, this never happened, I ended up calling my dermatologist to ask her what should I use to treat the reaction.Todays massage and facial were good, but, I wont return here to finish my electrolysis sessions.

Wonderful place. Very clean and professional. Jill is so great. I have come to this place many times and the services have always been exceptional.

This was the first experience Ive ever had at a spa and it was amazing! I arrived a little early to fill out paperwork like they say to when you first sign up. The paperwork took a few minutes and then for the rest of the time I sat in their relaxation room. Here you can sit in massage chairs while you enjoy snacks, tea, water, or prosecco.I got a facial and a seaweed wrap. Both were amazing!! I usually have a hard time falling asleep but I was so relaxed during both of these treatments that I almost dozed off. This is definitely a place to visit if you are in need of some relaxation!

Awesome massage by Andrea! I went in due to a shoulder injury in yoga. She focused on my shoulder and told me it would be a little sore the next day. I felt so relaxed and the next day and I was a little sore but my shoulder feels so much better. Cant wait to get back to my Chaturangas! I also got a facial because why not? I was already there. I had to wait in the relaxation room for my facial and I almost fell asleep because I was soooooo relaxed after my massage! I will be back!

By far my favorite Spa in Houston. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Kim is amazing; She gives the most amazing facials! Highly recommend!

Annie is wonderful. I was worried that she wasnt applying enough pressure at first but she was just getting warmed up. After my hour I had to force myself off of the table because I was so relaxed. Time well spent.

Tina is a great masseuse. This spa is very relaxing. Note it is hard to see from the street and the parking lot is tiny.

“20th Anniversary”Place was gorgeous and clean! Staff was friendly and took care of everything. Even things you would not think to ask for! They left us a sweet treat for our anniversary. It is a place every couple should go! And we will definitely be going back!!!

My bestie & I went & tried the Yoni Steam. It was BOMB! We will be going back once a month! We highly recommend women to try this.

I came in on Tuesday for a facial with Jessica. She was absolutely amazing and I truly loved the entire experience. She was very sweet and informative and took the time to address my personal skin issues. I left feeling amazing! However, over the past few days since then, my entire face has been peeling raw to the point where it has become increasingly painful to wash my face. Luckily I’ve been off work for the holiday and haven’t had any events, because there would be no way I could apply make up currently with the amount of pain and peeling. I’ve never had this experience of my skin reacting like this before, and I don’t recall any sort of peel being used, so I am disappointed to have had this reaction.

I would give this place 10 stars if it were a option!! I went in for a yoni steam I read about the spa and also studied steaming it helps women that have certain issues like fibroids infertility etc. when u walk in the spa theres a instant comforting feel to the place,I arrived early so they had me do paperwork and took me to a relaxing waiting area with dim lights and tea, champagne and massage chairs. The yoni steaming was beyond relaxing I thought I would read a book but was so relaxed I couldnt keep my eyes open.i highly recommended this place they also do massages facials hair removal along with yoni steaming. I found my new go to spa.i wish it was one closer to me in north Houston but hey u cant have it all right. Definitely will return. 8-8-19

It feels like the massage is customized to my bodys needs each time I come in. Last time it was a shoulder issue and this time it was lower back pain. Spot on results. Most definitely will be a regular here.

Best Experience Ever!!!!! Omg everyone was so attentive and professional. Keiara was awesome. The waiting area was so serene and relaxing. The infusion tub was everything!!!! My massage from Keiara was breathtaking... I literally floated out of the room. Don’t look any further this is the place to be. Worth every dollar spent and more. The stress and pain of years of my body being banged up melted away. Extreamly professional staff yet made you feel like family. The entire experience from time you enter to the time you leave screems relaxation. Its a little more then other places but by all means worth it. You get the best bang for your buck.
