Today was my first time at Glo Sun spa and I had an amazing experience! The assistant manager answered every question I had. She was very nice and patient and showed me around the whole place. I will definitely be coming to glo sun spa located off southwest freeway from now on.

While the girls at the location don’t communicate super well, when I called the corporate office they went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. That’s what it is really all about at the end of the day! Highly recommend

Im not returning to This location for a while. I will check back in a few months to see if customer service has improved. Last time I came in here the woman behind the counter could not give me a full description of all the services nor could find the lotion requested. I think she was new and the only one at the counter so it really wasnt a big deal I understand those things. Today both young ladies who looked like they had really nothing much to do other than wait on people rushed me through straight to Spray tan despite the fact that I was trying to get info regarding the UV tanning and other services. There was no customer other than myself in that waiting room warranting a hurried transaction. I pay the premium membership that I rarely use. Are my expectations too high?

Glo Sun Spa made this possible...shortly over six months ago I wouldnt fathom posting a shirtless photo on the the internet. That was before I checked into a system that worked for me. I made a commitment to my well-being and Glo continues to support that vision. Glo has innovative technology thats easy to use and I warn you, addicting. My personal routine is the fit burn, beauty angel, and the occasional halo. Ive used every service at least twice and theres nothing I dont love. I must speak on the amazing leader and team in the Southwest location. Tammy is the Spa Leader and an absolute heroine. Its rare to find individuals who care about your success as much as you do, youll find that in this team. Six months ago I shared my goals with Tammy, with enthusiasm she responded LET’S DO IT”. The team continues to motivate, encourage, and inspire me.

Fantastic place! The equipment is top notch! Tammy, the Manager, went above & beyond to help me with my questions & explained the product so well! She was great! I dont like to tan a lot, but found the Luxury UV tanning beds clean and incredibly effective - wow! I have used some of the other equipment such as the Slim Pod and the Hydro Massage bed. Both amazing! I found with the Slim Pod, my flexibility increased. The Hydro Massage was very nice! 15 minutes totally relaxing. Its a very clean spa, wonderful customer service - a great little getaway! You wont be disappointed. Entire staff is great!

Always a great experience at Glo. I go there for their cryotherapy, and most times Im in and out in less than 10 minutes. Very professional service at a good price.

The tanning is great. My complaint is you serve alcohol to clients in a can but not water. I have to get it from a machine. You use to give the luxury bed sparkling water and a cool towel. Neither available. I was told from a manager that if I purchased the luxury package i would get both. I get at River Oaks.

The lady (i wish I had her name) was amazing answered all my questions didnt rush me and answered so detailed to allow me to understand my membership so I can take full advantage. Out of 5 stars I would give her 6.

I have been coming here for years for spray tans and this time the girls at the front desk were super welcoming and talked me into trying some more servies they offer! They have so many other services that I didnt know about. I tried the hydration bed and the hydro massage and both were great!

Love Glo!! Amazing customer service. Super luxurious and clean. My favorites are the cocoon and the cryo!I want to add to my review and say the blue light/ red light facials are a total lifesaver. I had a large cystic acne that popped up right in the center of my forehead. Two sessions of blue and one of red cleared it up completely. Thank you Tammy!

I love this location. Tammy and crew are always welcoming and friendly. I have never once felt uncomfortable going into Glo. I have been to places where you feel uncomfortable because the staff is not so great, but not the case here. Its wonderful and I love Glo!

The very best in the city. You would be crazy to tan anywhere else. Plus the wonderful spa services and many spray tan booths are really the icing on the cake. Clean, friendly state of the art beds equals best tan around town.

I love this place! Great membership pricing- you get a lot for the price. One stop shop, tan, spray, hydra facial, the pod helps you lose excess water weight. Girls at the front always very courteous and explain everything to you. I’ve actually left to join another tanning salon and came back to Glo. Best in town for sure.

The staff is amazing and the place is spotless. They have so many options and the other customers have been coming there for as long as 14 years. Tammy the manager has been there that long and she really cares and knows what she is doing. I would suggest anyone go there for there tanning needs. Great location and parking is easy. They are the official tanning spa for the Texans cheerleaders so they must be great, right?

You may want to find another spray tan place if youve never done a spray tan before. I shared that this was my first spray tan yet they did not give me adequate instructions. My hands came out abnormally twice as dark as my body with comical lines around my fingers and palm of white skin then very dark skin. When I returned next day they did not have any localized or rub in tanning solution to tan the missed skin.

This is by far the nicest salon in Houston. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and always friendly and the equipment is top-tier. They are always upgrading to the newest and best and just did a major remodel. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I love that there is no orange color in the spray tan. If they would get more heaters in the rooms in the winter, then they would be the absolute best :-) That spray is soooo cold! Great business!

I went in for the Cryotherapy since they have a great promotional package deal on 6 sessions. This was my first time trying this and I was pretty spooked to say the least. The young woman working the counter took her time to carefully answer all of my questions over the phone, and in person when I finally came in.Even though there were other customers there, she stood outside of the cryopod(?) and offered me comfort and let me know how much time was left. Im normally not easily claustrophobic, nor do things freak me out easily, but the extremely cold air terrified me when I tried to breathe. It made a huge difference to know a staff member was will to stand there to help ease me through my first session. I will be a repeat customer for the cryotherapy for sure!!!

THEY LIE ABOUT UNLIMITED ACCESS - ITs NOT unlimited.Stuff is nice and the location is clean, but their unlimited access during your membership period is a lie. They will only let you use the tanning equipment no more that every 24hrs. It is ridiculous - every next day I have to come at least a minute later than the day before or wait.And even if you dont come every day (so you are already not using their equipment much) if you come two days in a row because this is how it works with your schedule they still wont let you use their equipment if its been less than 24hrs since the last time you used it!!!! No even if its been 23hrs!So the unlimitedaccess is not so unlimited after all.Besides, they only have one vertical tanning bed, which means LONG WAIT at the prime time after work (unless you want to touch surfaces with your bare skin - but who knows how well they clean it?).But suppose you waited in line, and got to the machine, and now the next day you want to come a bit earlier to get ahead of the after-work crowd - smart, but no you cant do that, because you cant use the machine unless its been 24hrs since the last time.how ridiculous is that???And they dont tell you about this restriction when you buy the membership of course. They just lie calling it unlimited.Oh and one more thing - they close at 10PM, but they wont let you use the equipment (even the UV tanning bed which takes max 10mins plus the time to dress/undress) later than at 9PM.

Glo Sun Spa is simply AMAZING!! I have been to 3 or their 4 Houston area locations and have never been disappointed! The facilities are clean, their staff is knowledgeable and professional and they always have the most cutting edge beds! I absolutely love the UV-Free Versa Spa, I get amazing instant, non-streaky color. I always reccommend their tan free for a year promotion when you buy a bottle of lotion and I have heard nothing but rave reviews from my friends. Be warned, after you tan here you will not want to go to any other tanning salon!

I am really disappointed at this place. I went last year in August to try a Tan, and since the very begging the way they hook customers is shady!I ask for the trial tanning promo that was announced on the website, and a hazle long hair thin girl told me there was not such thing as a trial, just to get me signed in into a Fraud! Plus the false advertisement!She got me to sign for a 3 months tan, plus a cryotherapy that i payed separated. She told me was the most convenient. After a month i put on freeze the tan package, since i was going back to Mexico. I spoke with the manager a blond middle age woman, i think was the manager and she told me she would freeze the charge of the Tan package and when i was back i could used.It happens that i did not went back that year 2018. This year i was checking my bank account credit card charges, to realize the bad surprise that Glo Sun Spa was charging EVERY MONTH SINCE AUGUST 2018, for the Tan package!I BEEN CHARGED, EVERY MONTH SINCE LAST YEAR UNTILL THIS JANUARY AND FEB 2019!!!! and i havent even step in that spa since last year and i never ask to activate the 2 months that i got left for tanning.When i notice the FRAUD! THAT THIS RECURRENT CHARGES ARE, I SPOKE WITH MY BANK! i been trying to speak with the manager with no success. Tomorrow i will call again, but if she doesnt solve anything like last time, i will upscale this! is so unfair, i cant believe a business can be so unprofessional and dishonest! and take advantage of clients.BE CAREFUL FOR THE CHARGES THEY MAKE ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS! AND THINK TWICE BEFORE HANDING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE.. I SIGNED FOR A 3 MONTH TAN, WICH I USED ONE MONTH AND I BEEN CHARGED EVERY MONTH FOR THAT SERVICE FOR OVER 7 MONTHS NOW!!!!Other than that Cryotherapy is ok.The tan was pretty regular after all, i invited my friend, she went to tanning beds and got burned, people dont explain properly, but the most serious issue here is the charges that they are willing to make with out your approval and without you taking any services or going back there anymore. BE CAREFUL, HONESTLY!!! I STILL TRYING TO FIX THE CHARGES FOR OVER 7 MONTHS.

Glo Sun Spa is one of the best tanning salons in the USA. As far as the Unlimited Access complaint, the law in texas is 24hrs... any place that will let you do otherwise is the place you need to watch. if they will break that law, who knows what else they are doing.

Have to relocate to another city 4 hours away. Refused to refund my money even I bought it just week and a half before I know about my new position and informed them immediately about it. No consideration for sensical consideration what so ever!. Inflexible and poor business practices followed here! Beware!

Bad experience ever, I suffered minor injuries on both arms after a body wrap session, redness and blisters on both arms, but also not receiving a refund of what I paid. These people only care about getting your money!

I frequently go to the location in The Woodlands and theyve always been more than courteous. Since I work downtown, I made a phone call to the Southwest Fwy location with a question about their spray tans and the girl on the phone (who sounded like she was barely 16) sounded bothered by my simple question. When I asked one more question, she abruptly says, Hang on and puts me on hold even more abruptly. I stayed on hold for a few minutes before finally hanging up. When I called back, no one even picked up the phone. (This was at approximately 10:15 am on December 1st, in case the manager ever ends up reading this.)I understand that it can get busy - but this girl must be totally inept if she cant take calls and help people at the same time. Instead, I called Darque Tan. Even though their sprays are more expensive, Id rather go to a place that respects the people who are about to give them money.
