I just visited this location for the very first time and I was very impressed with the promptness and professionalism of the young lady who waited on me. Ms. Laura Martinez immediately greeted me upon my arrival, she was very cordial, professional and helpful. She even assisted with validating my parking ticket and showed appreciation for my patronage....EXCELLENT SERVICE, GREAT EMPLOYEE.

Im a member of this CU and generally dont have problems with them. Then I found that may be because I do most of my banking online. Ive tried to call several times to shop mortgage quotes and they either dont answer or someone who is not a loan officer answers, places you on hold and then states that all the loan officers are busy. Then they ask if they can call you back... and never do! This exact scenario occured 3 times in that exact order with different employees which in my opinion is a reflection of management. Sad to write this I expected more from a credit union.

I received military orders to the UK and I notified TDECU that I would be living there for the next 3 years so my card would not be blocked. When I arrived at Heathrow in London to my surprise I could not use my debit card anywhere or withdraw from any ATMs. I was stuck at the airport in a foreign country with no money or means of transportation. I finally got in contact with member care and they told me that my card will not work in England due to the risk of fraud. After a 45 min of trying to explain my situation, they finally unblocked my card and it only worked for like one transaction. This happened repeatedly, so I finally just moved all of my money to USAA. Oh, also before moving to England someone had drained my bank account and the member care specialist told me that I had to go into a branch to fill out a report. I ended up driving to the nearest branch (5 hrs away) and was told that the report needs to be completed through email. Their customer service is horrible and they are lacking in communication.

My review is not of this specific location, but rather my experience as a TDECU member on the whole.I have never had such a headache-inducing customer service experience as I’ve had with this credit union. There is no sense of urgency, people don’t follow through with what they say they’ll do, you get passed back and forth between departments…all with no conviction at all that anyone cares. When you call to complain of your poor experience you’re told that someone will get back to you. By this point, of course, you have no confidence this will happen.Perhaps my experience is not representative of the majority… I hope not, anyway. I put in a request (again) to close my accounts today. We’ll see if it works this time.

Im not even a full member and I decide to close my account because the customer service at two locations was terrible. Erika Cesear was horrible and racist.

TDECU is BY FAR the worst bank Ive ever dealt with. They have horrible customer service. Calling is just a waste of time because the ladies who answer the phone are rude, never have the answers you need and sometimes even just provide flat out incorrect information. I love credit unions but I would avoid this one if youre looking to open an account. Nothing but headaches and incompetence. Save yourself the headache.

Poorly customer services , the place looks great but there is nobody to help you ,just one person in a big location (about this area is not cheap and the attention the worse ) San Felipe location .

Never in my life have I seen a bank with so many problems in communication between its employees, for which I and my family have been affected. It is very sad what is happening. I do not advise you to ever use this bank.
