Spoke with Emilio in E-lending group today - really helped clarify my auto-buying process as I had never purchased a vehicle from a private seller before. Lots of issues with insurance requirements prior to purchase (and you cant insure a car before its purchased and you cant get a loan before you have insured the vehicle). Emilio was the first of 3 reps who pointed out - I could always buy the vehicle for cash, then insure it, then come back and get my loan against it. It was the perfect solution and I had not thought of that workaround. Thanks again, Im a lifelong customer of FCCU and this is why. I really appreciated that Emilio solved my time sensitive problem, gave me clear steps to come get a check to purchase the vehicle and provided a path beyond the purchase to get my loan and still check all the boxes for what I was hoping to accomplish. Great experience!

It was a pleasure working with First Community. Scott Uong at the FCCU Copperfield location was my consultant and did an outstanding job. He was available almost every time I called, and if he was busy he always followed back up with me. He was able to answer all of my questions and really took the time to make sure I understood what was going on. He gave me great advice and pointed me in the right direction. I was short on time with purchasing a vehicle and they pushed my application and loan process along even though I know they were very busy. Couldnt be happier with their service! I have been a member at this credit union since 2010 and overall its been ok. The issue I have been dealing with for the last few months is with their rewards department for credit cards. Its been a nightmare! I had a rental car cancellation and was owed a refund and here I am 3 months later and still have yet to be refunded. The main issue I have is not really the money itself but the wasted time dealing with the rewards department. I have had to wait hours upon hours to talk with someone who can help me. The process happens like this: I call the main rewards program number, give them my info, say why I am calling, then I am transferred. After I am transferred, I typically wait on the phone for 2-3 hours. Once I talk with someone, they try to help but never can so I usually get transferred again, get some runaround, or the phone gets disconnected. I am beyond frustrated with their travel and rewards department.

I just do not understand the logic. I am a member of another credit union, but First Community works together with my credit union….so I am a share branch. First Community has a policy where share branch people can’t make deposits in the drive through…talking to an online teller. I am required to park my car, mask up, and come inside to talk to an online teller. With Covid out of control, I do not know why this policy which does not even make sense, has been changed. This policy only brings more people inside the building which adds to further risk of their own employees. It also adds risk to me having to come inside. I think that especially during these times that this policy needs to be adjusted. I have actually considered using this credit union as my primary banking, but it’s little things like this that change my mind.

This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST!! Customer service is like getting in contact with a dead person, and if you do get in contact with them they do not do anything to help you. I have had my debit card hacked 3 times this year i dont know what kind of security they implement but it is not to be trusted. I am currently on vacation traveling and they randomly shut off my card even though i approved the charges and they said your card should be turned on in 1-3 mins. Sitting here 2 hrs later card still doesnt work had to walk back to my hotel. This bank does not care about you in the slightest way. Going back to houston i will MOST Definitely be closing my accounts and moving somewhere els. I am so tired of dealing with these incompetent people and i have been a client for 7 years Didnt have any problems until the last 2 years. Its a never ending cycle trying to get access to YOUR OWN MONEY!!

Do NOT do business with FCCU! Have been a member for six years with $100k’s in loans. As of the past two years the customer service has been horrible. But the biggest issue is the process they use to steal from there customers by tacking on the loan insurance. Repeatedly requested to have removed per verbal and email as I never carried it on any of my past loans, charges still haven’t been removed. Find another credit union!!!

Just refinanced my car loan through FCCU unbeknownst to me this was the second to working with the same Loan Officer Rafael over at the E - branch in Copperfield is the best!. Great customer service and outstanding knowledge about refinancing. Very attentive went way beyond his customer service duties to help us get our finances in order. 5 star rating.My loan is finalized! FCCU is the best Ive been with this credit union for over 10 years! Thanks again Mr. Jeff and and Ms. Myra over at the E- Branch. These 3 staff members rock!

Incredibly disappointed. I have banked with them for over 13 years and have only ever had positive things to say about them. Until, my husband and I decided to contact them for a loan. The person we dealt with in the branch office was incredibly nice but every person we spoke with after that was not. The lack of information and communication was sad. They wouldnt tell us things and then would be rude to us because we didnt know (because they never told us.) I spoke with a friend about it and they had the exact same experience. We were going to bring over my car note in addition to the other business we brought them, but we will not be doing that. Ill gladly pay more a month for my car to ensure if I have issues I have better customer service than what we received at FCCU.

Ive had a checking/savings account and various loans with FCCU beginning in 1997. The customer service has steadily declined over the years as well as non-competitive auto and credit card rates. This has forced me to switch to another credit union that maintains customer service as its primary directive. Today was the final straw; I went to deposit a check from my investment bank and was told the check would have a hold on it due to my current account balance with FCCU. Speaking with a personal banker who then spoke with a manager (manager didnt speak with me directly) opened up a bit more of the check deposited but the majority would still have an arbitrary 7 business day hold. Im switching my direct deposit, checking and savings to another credit union after 20+ years with FCCU. Anyone looking to open a new account should consider alternatives since the whole point of banking with a credit union is MEMBER SERVICE.

Ever since they put these New teller machines its been horrible, Im in a 2009 Honda Civic and Im 58 and cant reach the screens on ALL of them here, and have to open the door to use it. Horrible.

This was my first time at this location and I was pleasantly surprised. I had never used the machines they have here, I had only made transactions using a regular ATM but I was assisted by a young woman, Katherine, who made the process run very smoothly. All I needed was help with a deposit and she was very efficient and professional. Ill definitely use these machines more often now!

Customer since 2014. I went in to make a car loan payment. The website doesnt allow payments from another institutions checking account without a fee.The corporate FM 529 branch is absolutely terrible. You have 2 people greeting at the door but NO TELLERS! The teller machines are very impersonal. If I wanted a bankless bank Id use something like PayPal.FCCU appears to be getting too big for its own good. Strongly considering closing my accounts.Makes no sense that they seem to be investing strong in automation but yet charge a fee to make a payment online.....which forces me into the bank.

Amazing service and great people I have been a member since the early 80s without a problem. I financed my home and all my cars. I dont live in Houston anymore and my house is paid off but I still find them very helpful and with the lowest rates. Ill go back to them again and again to purchase all my future vehicles.

I applied for a vehicle loan inorder to replace my 2007 jeep. My paycheck is directly deposited to the Credit Union, yet my loan application was rejected. I will only give 2 stars because I have not cancelled my direct deposit. This I will do on my free day from work this week.I advise everyone to research these institutions before doing business with them.

My wife and I opened a new checking account on Friday, September 18, 2020 with Nadia Solomon. We already have a large CD and and a very large Monet Market account there. Nadia told us it would take 10-14 days to have the checks delivered by mail. Two and half weeks later I stilled havent received the checks, so I called Nadias direct line on Monday, October 5th and she did not pick up, so I left a voice message asking on the status of the checks. She did not return my call on Monday or Tuesday. I called back on Wednesday, October 7th, same thing no answer, left another voice message. Since I still hadnt received my checks or a return call from Nadia, I called back on Thursday, October 8th. Same thing, no answer, so I asked to speak with anyone that could help me. I explained the situation and they said they would have Nadia call me back. A few hours later, she did and I asked her the status of my checks? She said she would call me right back. I waited 30 minutes and no return call. I had to leave for an appointment. If she called while I was gone, she didnt bother to leave me a voice message. I called her back yesterday, and as usual she didnt pick up. I left no message this time. I called this morning and just asked to speak with someone who can give me the status. I spoke with Jessica and she immediately said that the checks were ordered on Thursday, October 8th, the same day I spoke to Nadia. Jessica was very nice, very professional and I requested to speak with a supervisor to complain, she put me on hold, and was kind enough to check back occasionally to say the supervisor was with another customer. This is the kind of employee that all organizations should cherish.If Nadia had confessed to me that she made a mistake and forgot to order the checks and was sorry, I wouldve accepted her apology because were all human and we all make mistakes. However, this poor customer service by one individual gives the Copperfield Branch a black eye and is not acceptable to any customer. I spoke with a bank supervisor this afternoon, and she apologized to me, and said she would inform Nadias supervisor about the incident. My desire is not to get her fired, but to correct a mistake so it doesnt happen to other customers in the future.Oscar Dominguez

You know everyone needs there money. Since they change some things. You may not get your money when expecting sucks. Then you spend money and to make sure you dont go over you check your account. It shows you have money. But Tuesday comes and your negative because your account said you had money. Well the money doesnt come out over the weekend. Be careful with this bank. It is a good bank.

Word of advice..if you lose your loved one and they banked here make sure they are the last people you talk to. I was not sure what to do so I went in talked to the VP. Explained what was going on. She told me that she would not freeze the account so the mortgage payments that were automatically scheduled would post. Then I get a call from someone else telling me oh no sorry we are freezing everything. Lied to by the VP like this isnt already a hard and trying time for my family. So now none of his payments will clear. After reading the reviews on here and dealing with them I am surprised anyone would want to bank here!!

I have been a member for years and due to the COVID Pandemic am having financial issues. A rep named Margedda(sp) in the loans department(?) was condescending, uncaring, and flat out disrespectful. I will be changing institutions for my banking needs as it was not her answers that I am upset with, but her non caring tone. In good times they are great, however an employee such as this ruins years of membership with her attitude. I am unable to reach ANYONE in the executive offices as there is NO contact number except the main number. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and any other entity possible. I do not usually get upset, but disrespect I will not tolerate. I have the call recorded.

I just opened my account and it’s the worst choice I’ve ever made, I’ve yet to get my debit card and the customer service is horrible I spoke with Irean a branch manager that has poor customer service, when she got on the call she didn’t address my issue just started talking I called her and supervisor and she rudely said no I’m a manager!!!! I even had someone tell me to use cashapp to get my funds this is not the experience I was looking for I will be closing my account soon!

I have been a member for 46 years. I got my first loan with FCCU to purchase a CB radio back in 1975 when FCCU was known as Spring Branch Educators Credit Union. I actually met my wife in the building where their first location was in 1976. A few years later they built a new location on Westview Rd. in Spring Branch. At that time I knew everyone from the president, to the tellers and the door greeter all by first name. Years later they had numerous locations and started getting automated. It took some getting used to talking to faces on TV screens instead of real people, but the service quality never diminished. There are still live people there now, but only customer service, loan officer, financial planner, door greeter, and the security guard. The location I go to now is in Copperfield and it actually looks like a fortress. They still get the job done, and they have as good or better interest rates for savings and loans as you will find anywhere. I do miss the personal connection to individuals, but now security has to be a lot higher now. One thing I really like is that they are VERY protective about your personal information, which the way I like it. My adult son has also been a member there for over 25 years. We recently moved to Houston from St Louis and wanted to bank with a Credit Union do to our great experience with one in St Louis. FCCU was close to our home so we went there. We open the account and were told that there would be a 9 day hold on deposits for the first 30 days. Well, even after the 30 days they still wanted to do the 9 day holds on deposits. Then it always seems that the ATM machines are not working. Also, the service (which is not person to person, but rather person to phone and video) is EXTREMELY slow. We were very frustrated and decided to close our account (we were able to have a face to face teller at this point). When we told the teller that we wanted to close the account she said there is a fee of $25 to close an account early (earlier than 1 year). So we have decided to leave the account open with $25 dollar in it until 1 year passes and then we will go an close the account. $25 is not that large of an amount, but it really is about the principle. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this so called credit union. KEEP IT MOVING!

If you want your loan payments skipped (offered service), you have to set it up yourself, turn it off yourself or the payment will still go through. Small stipulations like that are on EVERY service they offer so dont expect any help on their end. They expect you to know that even if youve never done it before. Another example is an auto accident check I had from the insurance company. They refused to sign it because they didnt have a detailed lay out of what the auto body shop was doing to my car. I understand they want everything to be legit but why couldnt they tell me they needed that on the phone when I called about this? I even asked if I needed anything else and they said no, just bring the check to sign. Will definitely be finding another credit union soon. My mother has been using them since she was a teen and got me an account here so theyre losing over a decade of business from me alone.

My husband and I have had nothing but issues with this bank since we first opened the account a few months ago. We have experienced unreasonable holds on checks, excessive fees, and very poor customer service. We cannot trust that anything they tell us is accurate as we’ve received misinformation from tellers and other staff. I should’ve read these reviews beforehand because everything other people have complained about is true. I banked with a credit union in another state and never had issues like this. I’m hoping the issues are only with the Copperfield branch, but based on the reviews that may not be the case. We will maintain another account elsewhere from now on and hope this bank improves their operations.

I just wanted to comment that I always received great service from here and will go back. Do NOT use FCCU for a home loan. I have used them in the past for two auto loans and a motorcycle loan. All of those experiences were great. Everything was handled in a timely manner and the rates were very good. I had no reason to believe that getting a mortgage would be any different, but I was wrong. We got pre-approved right away but it was downhill from there. The loan officer obviously had more “files” (aka clients) than she could handle. When my agent or I would call, she clearly had no idea who we were. Then, about two weeks into the loan process, I receive an email around 11:00am on Friday asking about loan documents that were supposed to have been filled out, which we never received. The loan officer claimed to have sent them the previous Friday but for whatever reason, decided to wait an entire week before following up with us about the phantom documents. Being late in the morning on a FRIDAY, I could not fill them out until I got home from work that evening (as I work on a truck all day), so they did not have them until Monday morning. Over these ten days, the interest rate had gone up from 4.0 to 4.25%. I would periodically send the loan officer emails with questions about the loan and matters which she should have knowledge of, and when she eventually got back to me, rather than answering my questions, she would direct me to my realtor or the title company. If I would have known that our experience was going to be this bad, I definitely would have gone with another lender.

I really like the employees attitudes and willingness to help when you need something. I did have a problem in the past and Logan resolved my issue within the hour on a Saturday! Ive dealt with Amy, Logan and Robert frequently and the relationships that they build are life long. I will truly be a customer at this bank as long as they are there. I like the personal banking feel that you wont get at the other branches, which Im a member there too.

Even if you deposit your check thru the ATM BEFORE 5pm on a WEEKDAY you cant access your money until the ATM decides your check is good which is maybe until 5pm supposedly it would be ready by 1pm. I did mine around 11:00am. They told me I had some 31 day hold but it will be there by 5pm just because I went thru the ATM. If you need your money immediately youre better off cashing it somewhere else unless you do it directly thru the Teller. Dont let it be a holiday cuz it will take even longer. They charge you for not having the correct address even when I changed it online 3 times to the correct address. I came here because my mom had an account here and I thought it would he great. Its not.

I have been with this credit union for over 7 years. I have had 2 car loans and and credit card with a pretty high limit. I have A+ credit (even according to what fccu lenders told me ). I have my business AND checking account with them. Have given them ALL my business. I never had a single late payment AND now I have zero debt! Now, I ask for a very modest loan and Im insulted by being offered a secured loan... i have to give up something in order to get this loan. There is NO reason for them to treat me this way. They do not appreciate customer loyalty or having a perfect standing. Ive gone through 3 different managers now. Guess what, Ive been promised a call back 4 times and they NEVER CALL BACK. I talked to the VP of copperfield today (whom supposedly had taken it to the executive level) and he promised a call back before closing, and again, no call. So I will be removing ALL of my money and closing both accounts asap next week. If you want to be valued, appreciated, and respected, DO NOT GO HERE.

I’ve been banking with FCCU for almost 10 years and their customer and loan service has taken a complete nosedive. I have great credit and have paid off an auto loan with them in the past with a 2.84 APR, but when I recently tried to get a loan the service was extremely slow and they tried to gouge me with a 5.84 APR. It was disappointing to the point where I had to finance through the dealer and the dealer even gave me a lower rate.I tried to reach out to customer service and when I explained the situation their VP Erasmo Sanchez basically gave me a “tough luck” explanation. I would definitely consider another credit union, one that appreciates and values customer loyalty. I’m basically at the point where I am planning to switch to a different bank. I have been with this back for over 15 years and it has increasingly gotten worse. Customer service is a joke. They rape you with fees and they try to justify the fees. The fees are much higher than standard banks. They pretty much steal from you. The managers are rude and their motto is not the customer is always right. By far the worst bank I have ever dealt with, it took them a day to approve my credit card application and now it has been 36 days and I still didn’t get anything I contacted them 6 times and every time they tell me a different story, the last time they told me “it looks like your application has been submitted more that 30 days for the approval so we have to start the application all over again” didn’t say anything to explain what happened or apologized for what happened and I’m very particular about my credit and I gave them the first shot for a credit card and now I have no credit card and I have an inquiry on my credit thanks a lot

Kroger branch office on Jones Road and Cypress N. Houston Road. If i could give them zero stars i would. Very biased and judgemental people at branch. The tellers including manager cannot determine counterfeit from real money, treat you like a criminal. I just keep enough money in First Community Credit Union accounts just to pay bills online, keep more money in other accounts with better bank institutions. (You have to do better), do not recommend them, dislike them. Go with Smart Financial, much better institution.

While they do indeed have ATROCIOUS service overall (customer service both in-person but especially over the phone), there are a few good people working there. Perhaps they should move on. These folks are more fee-oriented than Bank of America (I still have my BOA account, had to close this account especially being a tertiary account for me. Skip this so-called credit union and go to Smart Financial.

The website is confusing and I am constantly changing the password. Their bank statements are confusing to read and it takes forever to get through to a live person. I cant get my money and my safe deposit items out of here fast enough. I just dont see the benefits of joining this particular credit union. I am giving 2 stars only because Im not a mean person and was able to finally get payoff information from the customer service agent. Having been inside the place a couple of times, it has been a hassle dealing with the people up front as well.

If I could give this bank NEGATIVE stars, I would. We should’ve listened to the negative reviews, do not make the same mistake! In less than two months, this bank has stolen more than $500 from us in “fees”. They do NOT care about their customers at all. They tell you one thing, and do another. They blatantly lie to justify taking literally all the money in the account, AND some. Don’t bank here if you like your money!

Customer Service is HORRIBLE. There is one lady I have spoken to on a couple occasions and she treats you like you are a peon. I would like to see where in your terms and agreements that show you re sequence debits to maximize your profits. Situations come up and things happen. They are predatory on their fees with how things are processed. Pending charges show for two days, disappear completely for another two or three days then they pop back up. They really sequence their debits so that instead of having an oops overdraft they pull the largest ones first (even when they claim to process in order recieved and I have proof of otherwise) so instead of them getting one or two fees out you they hit you 5, 10, 15. I own my mistakes and when it really is my error I would never complain. But when you start pulling over draft fees before the account is even negative .... the customer is screwed. When asked about it before they just tell you well your loss. Re sequencing is legal, I am very aware of that. But very shady. Pretty sure Bank of America lost a class action lawsuit over this type of banking practices. I have very very rarely ever had overdrafts before I started banking here. I will be seeking legal council and representation, taking it to Akin with Fox news and any other source I can in order to protect others from this scam of a bank. Your company apparently has no regard for the many many many bad reviews, complaints and discord over this exact practice and several other similar (and horrifyingly worse on some) situations. Never will your business be recommended by me to anyone. Horrible Horrible Horrible!

Before I wrote my review I read a few others to see if it was just me. Nope Ive has same experience as everyone else, the worst possible customer experience a banking institution could offer. Been here multiple times, rarely had a good experience. Been talk down to by the VP of the branch bc I didnt do things in the right order. By right order, what she really meant was we dont have a way to accommodate what you need to deposit. Instead of handling things and discussing a plan, in the middle of lobby she continued to flat disrespect myself and my wife. Joy... Was less than a joy to deal with. Every other FCCU location has been nice to deal etib expect this one. They do have one great employee named Johnathan who is excellent. Aside from him very few people in this place have a clue about customer service.

Dont bank here! They have a real problem with fees and their online site does not show your true current balance. I closed my account and went with Chase, where they have excellent customer service, and their website shows your true balance. Btw I was with this company for many years, even when they were called First Educators Credit Union (via my mother). They really have changed. Very sad.

First time in this Bank, walked in and walked around lost no one greeted me or reached out to me for anything. Front desk lady had bad customer service skills. Not once did she look up to see who she was talking to. The tellers are ATM, and then when I finally saw someone to help me make my loan payment, guy talked to me like I didn’t know what I was doing. Such a big beautiful bank yet so empty. No one in that Bank smiles !!!!!! Sad place

Only have 2 atm machines available to do any transactions inside. There were more security people than tellers available. Im not waiting 30 mins to make a deposit. Was in and out in less than 5 mins at the other bank I use because they had actual people I could talk to, not machines.

I just wanted to leave a review since Ive seen so many negative ones. I normally use the Tomball location, so I cant speak for this one, but Ive had nothing but positive experiences with FCCU. My credit was nonexistent before I opened an account with them. So I had to get a secured credit card, which boosted my credit up slowly but surely.From there they gave me an unsecured credit card, and its limit theyve increased twice. Ive gotten 3 personal loans with them, all approved and deposited into my account the same day. All of this has significantly boosted my credit, and Ive been approved for a car loan which I plan on taking in the next couple weeks. I cant comment on their home loans.They always work with me on fees, have giving me replacement credit cards for free, have given me free cashier checks, and always solve my issues quickly over the phone. Maybe this location is managed improperly, but I dont think that should be enough to deter people away from FCCU. Ive been with Woodforest, Chase, and others, and would never go back to a typical bank or Federal credit union. They always stiffed me on the smallest of things, and were never willing to work with me on anything.

Poor slow inaccurate info and unprofessional service. I was a customer for 5yrs....They dont help people with previous minor financial problems. They try to be too strict with the rules on basic products. I really think they use these tactics to discriminate and are racist. Fees are excessive like big banks, probably to pay for the ridiculous cost of advertisements for the TEXANS.(red flag!)I recently applied for a home refi and was denied straight out for a 100k loan home value 170k. CS mid 730s/Assets over 70k.The loan officer didnt even ask me for an explanation abt my credit report to try to manually override their automatic system denial and work with me. She says its nothing she can do....I even had to call them myself for the app status after applying 4 days of no communication. Just Voicemails/disconnects/rollovers and when you finally reach someone they seem distracted, nonchalant and rushed like there ready to get back to chatting abt the latest gossip and eat lunch. I know nowadays response times are faster thru email so I asked the loan officer did she ever receive my email, she said No, maybe bc of the new system. Seriously?... Lies! Who doesnt get replied email? Or maybe bc of their poor technology...I applied the same day of denial w/another local credit union and was immediately approved w/ a great interest rate. All I had to do was explain some hiccups on my credit report & prove income/assets. Their service was exceptional and prompt. Screw FCCU!

Just a bunch Nuts that run this place! I cant believe how much money they spend on having a sponsorship with the Houston Texans and Brian Cushing. That money they spend, which is hundreds of thousands of dollars, comes right out of our pockets with fees and interest rates as credit union members. What a ridiculous thing for them to be doing. There is no way they are even breaking even on the cost for that kind of advertising. If they are that dumb with advertising money, then how bad are they using whats left of our money. This place is bad about fees as someone else said, and their website is atrocious. I am closing my account with them and will go with Wells Fargo. Their tellers are not the most friendly and if there is something wrong with your account they fail to tell you at the window (like every other bank in the world does). If you ever get a negative balance, you will most likely accumulate a LOT of fees because they do not use the negative symbol or minus sign in your online statement; they use parentheses and claim parentheses indicate a negative balance. After requesting the fees be removed they will most likely not even tell you whether they decided to reimburse the fees or not unless you keep asking them. As bad as Bank of America is, they are still better than FCCU will ever hope to be.

I am not a member. I stopped by to make a deposit into one of their coop branches. I learned at the drive-thru that this had to be done inside the lobby. The teller line was horrible. You wait in a long line only to speak to a teller via a pay phone and screen monitor. Im confused, how was this any different than making my deposit via their drive-thru?? And if that wasnt already enough of an inconvenience, I get to my car and notice on my receipt that the teller made a mistake and deposited an extra $3 into the account so I had to go back inside, get back in line for him to make the correction and he never once apologized. This process took an hour of my Saturday. I left extremely upset.

I am surprised about the reviews they have here - I wish a lot more customers will review here to increase their rating. I have been banking with this company for almost 20 years already in my early 20s in their Spring Branch branch. I was so happy when they moved a location here in copperfield where I live. the lady in the front desk always welcomes you and even remembers you when you come in, asks about your family and she have been there also in the SB area. I re financed most my cars in FCCU after a year of purchase because they always give me good rates. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars its because of their teller service - I never liked it when , its not personable --Its like being in a drive thruogh. Their drive thru service is also LOOONNNGGG wait - I eventually just used their ATM drive thru which is way faster. But otherwise I like this bank.

We have been a customer of FCCU for many years. We have financed 4 cars with them. The last transaction was the transfer of an existing loan on our Mercury to FCCU for a better rate and at the same time the purchase of a new Ford Super Crewcab Truck. The combined financing was $41,000.00. Our combined car payment was $840.00 month. Since this loan the Mercury has been paid off. We were ready to buy a Ford SUV (50,000.00) and trade in my truck and estimated the payment to be close to what we had been paying monthly $840.00. We allowed direct draft on our account for payment like the current loan. We had $2000.00 to put down on the deal. After they ran the loan application the loan account rep told me they would only finance $30,000.00 WHAT! We have better credit ratings now and less obligations! Our house is paid for! Our income is the same! If it wasnt so much trouble I would move my accounts. Terrible way to treat a good customer. I would not recommend them for loans! On a separate note we were recently a victim of credit card fraud and FCCU was prompt to start action to get our money back and replace our cards. We were assisted by Logan Motter Asst. VP to get this expedited. His attention deserves special recognition for taking care of us. To him I give (5) Stars great customer service skills!

I have been with FCCU for many years when I reached out to them to refinance my house, I was so surprised of the customer service and the professionalism. I was first preapproved for an interest rate through the customer service rep in the lobby (he was great) then when it went to the mortgage department it went down the drain. Very disorganized, unprofessional, unresponsive, apparently can not speak to you without picking up the phone they just speaker phone. I provided all the details they requested, paid the renewal of my home insurance in full ($1600) gave them a $450 deposit for the appraisal and did not get approved. The process started before Christmas, 2nd week of December and I was just told in the past week (February) that they will not be able to approve. The majority of the communication was through a line of people who forgot what they did last and had to call me back to recall and redo - no call back, then I was sent to an operations manager - wow - I felt now things were going to done and nothing - empty promises. After a frustrated call last week she called and promised someone to call and give status that day before 7pm and nothing again. I called to prove the point - I have been very patient until now and she said had me repeat the answers and responses from all the other 10 times i have already told them!!! How incompetent! I was so upset. We had our hearts set on refinaning a 9 year old loan of 8.9 to 3.9 as they said they locked down - and Nothing happen! I am now out of $2050 that I had to front in December and they just said SORRY mam I will be closing out my accounts there unfortunately i have 2 car loans that are going well and will need to keep but do not recommend anyone for mortgage they are not professionals and do not what they did yesterday or even today! By the way this is the branch on 529
