I used to go here about 5-6 years ago and my best friend still does. They hit the children and threaten them, yell at them and ect. They only work here for some cash and never pick up the phone when called. Although I do have many bad experience. with teachers, a few of them have left. DO NOT recommend for you to take your child here. They also throw away the childs food if they talk.

First off when my child went there the first I saw her come back home she had a scrath and a bruse on her face and leg then the next day she came with bump on her hand

My daughters & sons go here. My boys started really young due to me returning to work early. I must say Ms Hilda takes care of my boys literally as good as I do if that’s even at all possible. I don’t have to worry about them while I’m at work. She really loves my boys and I feel to have them in An establishment like that is phenomenal!

A Place For Children is an excellent child care center. The children learn as well as have fun. The building is clean & well kept. Children are given nutritious meals & snacks daily. This is truly a GREAT place to bring your children. They will be loved, taught, nurtured, protected & even (SPOILED). One of the worst daycares Texas has to offer. My nephew goes here and they never answer the phone constantly sends you to the voicemail and the kids are scattered like roaches in one room. Its definitely not safe and Im disappointed being a previous Assistant Director

I kept seeing the flyer in my mailbox so i decided to give them a call today twice but no one answered. To me this already shows as being unprofessional. I have twins and one of them has a disability so if something as simple as picking up the phone is a problem i cant help but imagine what else is wrong. No thanks i will pass

My children have been coming here for a few years now, and I just enjoy the staff. They are all so nice, kind, and attentive to the children that attend the center. I also like how they actually do activities and teach the children.

I have always been the parent who said their kids werent going to daycare until they were able to talk. I was able to accomplish that with my older children but, not my youngest (1yr old). My older children attended as well and this is the only place I trust to send my baby. The owner is good at picking who she hires and is never afraid to fire if it comes down to it because she genuinely cares about our children

A place for children is an excellent establishment. My Godchildren attend the school and they are always eager to go and have smiles on their faces when they are getting picked up. The staff is friendly, informative and answer questions. The facility is clean and neat.

I recommend this childcare, the staff members are professional, clean and polite. My daughter started going there since she was 3 months and she’s 2 years old. She loves her teachers, what I like the most about this childcare is the program it really helps,the children are learning playing in a safe environment.

This was an excellent çhoice for my niece her mom really lucked up I see a change in my niece she is learning more. Every time I pick her up the place is always clean the staff and owner are super friendly always answering questions I may have the program she have for Reading is excellent. I am looking forward to the growth in my niece.

To begin with, I personally assigned my mom to always drop off my daughter unless she got an appointment which I will pick up my daughter at the child care.. this had happened twice which I was so pissed I came to pick up my daughter for her appointment as usual, the Director which was rude was like “I will have to call serenity grandmother to verify if you can pick her up.” I was like do you know I do pay her child care ever since and I did personally assigned my mom to drop and pick my daughter up from here because of my distance..Long story short the Director needs to work on her attitude that ain’t professional at all, and she needs to learn on how to smile as well.

It is really nice place for kids. All staff members are very hardworking and cooperative. Neat and clean decorative classrooms. Healthy food for kids.

I love this daycare before my son attended here he wasnt learning anything at his old daycare until he enrolled here..He learned so much from ABCs to the days in the week.. Also he comes home singing different songs and practicing on his writing...I highly recommend.. My only issue is seeing other kids with snotty nose I think thats how my kids get sick and I have to keep missing work. Due to careless parents not taking they kids to the doctor. Also the night teacher always have my infant in poo or soiled diaper and I have to change him before leaving and they always put the wrong diapers on him even though he has some in the back and diaper bag...she is very lazy needs to be replaced...

This is a great school hands down!! Ive never had any problems with any of the staff members. And my son loves the staff, the other kids, and the school. Hes learned so much in the time hes been attending A Place for Children. Im going to let him attend the preschool when its time. It feels good knowing i can leave him in the care of trusted people with all the hours I work.

I love this daycare. The owner and director is really nice and understanding. After 1 week my daughter was interacting with other kids and singing her ABCs . Ms Maria is an awesome teacher. Great lunch, breastfast, and dinner! Comfortable cots to sleep on for the kids when the parents had to work late nights or you just wanted a date night. Thanks for being so accepting!

Omg!I just loved this place I had a nephew who attended here they have excellent staff every time I went to pick him up he was always engage in something. He is now in the first grade and he is reading.I would like to thank the staff at A Place For Children for providing a good fondation for my nephew. I would suggest anybody to send their child here.

The customer service is horrible. Owners daughter is very rude, needs some training in child care, and very disrespectful Teachers are threatened to lie against children. It is unfortunate people like these are allowed to own a facility where they care for the innocent and vulnerable population .

A place for children is just that. Parents who have any questions or concerns will never get any kind of resolution. The morning teacher in Toddler 1 room will not answer any of your questions or listen to your concerns. When I would drop off my son she wouldnt speak to me and would rush me out of the room. I notified the director I received judgement and excuses such as; were short staff, the teacher doesnt have time to talk to the parents. Shes trying to care for the students. As well as a very condescending tone. I would direct all my questions and concerns to the director the only response I would get is I dont know Ill ask and get back to you. I didnt receive any kind of follow up. One morning I tried to ask the director about my sons bleeding lip and scratch on his nose. I wasnt notified and there was no incident report filed. Once again I received judgement and a condescending tone You dont have a life! you aint got no man! watch when you get a man your not even going to be worried about your son as well as directed to the door to leave. PLEASE! PLEASE! if your a mother or father hen this is not the place for your child. Your questions or concerns will never get resolved or answered.

The people were very nice and the building was clean on the inside n out they made me feel very welcome I like how they explain every little detail to me about what the kids were going to be doing Great Place!!

My 1 Year old son started going here in March 2018. Everything was fine at first but then i started to realize how unprofessional this place really is. For one the owner Shannon will inconveniently pick random days and times to close the daycare WITHOUT NOTICE. literally on multiple occasions she will have one day listed but then will close the day before early WITH OUT TELLING PARENTS until literally the day of. there was times were i literally did not find out an early closing time unlit i get a phone calling from the owner saying we close in 10 minutes WHILE I WAS AT WORK. so much for a 24 hour daycare. I finally was fed up on May 27th 2018 when i was picking my son up early morning and he had two deep unexplainable scratches on his face. I asked the lady (that was on shift) what had happened to his face. She tells me i dont know. I sat up at the daycare frustrated for an hour for her and i to make phone calls to get answers on what happened to my sons face. THERE WAS NO INCIDENT REPORT MADE!!! i was not contacted when it happened!!! finally after she made several phone calls one of the employees told me a child scratched him. Once again i was extremely upset at the fact this was not handled properly. Also my SON STILL HAD A SCAR from this, a whole month later!!!!!! If you care about keeping your job and about your childs safety please keep looking and find a different daycare.

Pre-school teacher is awesome, other staff questionable. Director is rude, communication skills are terrible, never got back with me on several incidents regarding my child or things that came up missing. Convenient but unprofessional environment, wouldnt recommend after how things were handled.

I called several times and they sent me to voicemail! This is so unprofessional! When i have my daughter she will not be going here! Especially if they wont answer the phone!

Horrible!! Lazy!! Liars!! If you are potty training your child, please dont bring your child here. Every time I would pick my child up she was in someone elses clothing a large T-shirt No Pants. Yes, I put a pamper on her and put more than enough pampers in the bag.

Horrible daycare, I drop my kids off 5:30 am in the morning , yet they arrived to school late every morning , also get picked up late. They don’t communicate with you unless it’s about money , they don’t address the issues in person , they just write notes like some high school teenagers . I wouldn’t recommend this place, shouldnt bring your kids here cus they are just there to collect a check.

A place for children on Bellaire , what a terrific childcare service(s) they offer. My first son, before he clocked 2 years he can conviently say letter A-Z & Z-A either way(s). Number 1-10, he knows it. He also knows his colors.Their food for kids is very nourishing.I also love the nap time they got there too. My kids also take a nap same time at home anytime they did go to the daycare without forcing them, simply, they are used to the trend.I strongly recommend this place.May God bless y’all. My child has been going to A Place For Children for almost Two years.I have never had a problem with the Bellaire center.. he come home ready to sing ABCs and everything else hes learned and hes only two.If you looking for a daycare 24 hrs dont look any further!!!

I currently moved my children from a daycare that was alittle out the way for me. My children have been going to this daycare for a month now. Im a very observant person and clearly they do not take there job seriously there are only a select few thy actually care about the children. My son comes home everyday complaing that another child keeps hitting him and the teacher does nothing she just turns a blind eye. I only selsected this daycare because its 24/7 an close to my home. Further more I am forced to report this conduct because I leave my children in the care am responsible of this child care an they are not properly handling the situation to resolve this matter. I do not recommend to enroll your children to this faulity due to my experiences and other situations I have been informed about from previous parents who had there children attending this child care.

I just transferred my son who is 2 years old to this childcare and I’m by far satisfied the first day my son cried to leave my side by the end of the day my son cried to stay at the center he walked in today with not a tear coming out his eye I love this center so far goodbye robindell my daughter will be here soon I highly recommend this center

This place has its pros and cons, as any other place.My daughter learned a lot and I like their curriculum.However, every time I would pick my daughter up her pull up would be soiled, she would have a dried up snotty nose, and sometimes even be wearing someone elses diapers ( I sent her with more than enough pull-ups weekly.)The staff members constantly spelled her name incorrectly. One of her teachers called her someone elses name on multiple occasions even after I had corrected her.Ms. Tina, the manager, was very sweet and willing to help whenever I would have an issue. Yet, due to the lack of care and laziness that some of the staff had towards the children, I decided to take my child out of this center.
