Children’s Lighthouse Lake Houston has been fantastic for my daughter. Great people, great learning programs and fun events. My daughter has been there for two years now, since she was three months old, and she seems to enjoy her time there.

Childrens Lighthouse of Lake Houston is AMAZING! Their attention to detail and the needs to each child is outstanding. The team truly applies attention and care to the curriculum. Ms. Kelly the owner is awesome, she knows everyones name!! The Director Trameka is phenomenal, she truly cares about the children and their growth! I couldnt recommend a better place!

Where do I begin? My daughter attended this location for almost a year, and ever since she started there, she has thrived. The only reason she is not longer attending is because we had to move. This daycare is very professional, has great teachers, and the staff is amazing. Additionally, Mrs. Kelly, the owner is always present and truly cares about the well-being of the kids and the school as a whole. Her energy is always positive and you can tell that she is truly passionate about the work she’s doing. We are going to miss this place very much. If you select this school, your kids will be in great hands. Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter.

My children currently attend this daycare and they provide excellent care for them. Especially my 6 yr old autistic son. They are very good with him and that puts my mind and heart at ease. It is not always easy finding a place that you feel comfortable with leaving your special needs child with but this company and their staff are excellent! Mrs. Heather, Mrs. Kelly, and Mrs. Mi-Mi, and Mrs. Candy are great! We love our daycare family! 💜

My grandson has been going here for over 2 years and he loves this daycare. He talks about how well he like his teachers and the staff. It’s amazing how you walk in and every staff member know your child by name and addresses him with a good morning or a hello with a huge smile on their faces. That means the world to me. Mrs. Kelly who is the owner is doing an amazing job!!!

Kelly, Heather and the Childrens Lighthouse team has been wonderful to my family for the last 3 years. Both my daughter and my son received loving care and very good education from this team. The curriculum is very good and results-driven, and the food is healthy - that was a very important part in the selection of a learning center: that the food be as natural and as healthy as possible. For example, fruit was never from a can. They have also taken very good steps to ensure a safe environment during this pandemic. We hope thing get back to normal soon because another great mark was the sense of community that existed between the parents, and the friday night events were also a lot of fun for our kids! We strongly recommend that you give Childrens Lighthouse a good look. Thank you much.

I love Children’s Lighthouse! I wish that this was the first school my son attended after moving to Houston. He is still getting use to a different environment, However, I know that he is well taken care of. The peace of mind is the greatest gift in knowing he is safe! Their communication is Awesome! This is an amazing place for children. Everyone’s goal is for what’s best for the children. When you have questions or concerns they are addressed in a timely fashion. My kids have blossomed since being at Children’s Lighthouse. Kelly is absolutely amazing and I am extremely grateful for not only the knowledge being taught but also the love and caring that happens too! Children’s Lighthouse is and has been truly a blessing for our family!

This daycare is phenomenal. The teachers are kind and loving. They have a curriculum in place for all ages, including the infants. I love that the infant class has cameras and they send me updates with each feeding and diaper change, as well as a few pictures throughout the day. It’s so nice being able to focus on work knowing my kids are in great hands.

This daycare is awesome! The facility is clean and sanitized frequently which was a top requirement for me. Faculty and staff are professional and friendly. Im very impressed with their learning curriculum. My 7 mos old son is constantly learning new things! I would definitely recommend this daycare!

Great place great people my kids love it!!

My son began going to Children’s Lighthouse when he was 3 1/2 years old. We were concerned because his speech wasn’t at the level it should have been for his age. Children’s Lighthouse has worked with him and we no longer have concerns. The staff is awesome and super friendly!

We looked into many different childcare options before deciding on the Children’s Lighthouse. The facility is beautiful and state-of-the-art with cameras in every room so we can check in on our little one throughout the day. As new parents, we were nervous leaving our daughter anywhere, but it was clear that everyone at Children’s Lighthouse was dedicated to making her feel comfortable. The teachers, owners, directors, and staff love our daughter as if she is their own and I am confident that she is receiving the best care when she is at school. She is learning so much and making great friends. The school also offers a lot of great benefits to the parents like hosting the occasional “parent’s night out,” free morning coffee and snacks, and a low cost place to rent for birthday parties. They even have a splash pad for the kids to enjoy in the summer. Our daughter loves going to school every day!

Awesome owner and Awesome teachers. Great curriculum my 2.5 yr old has excelled so much in a short period of time. She is now speaking full sentences and can hold a conversation. Highly recommended!

The staff has always been warm and inviting. This location cares about the community and it shows. The staff is always at local community events throughout the year. We will take our son to some of these events and he lights up every time he gets to see the friendly faces that he has come to love.

They actually teach, which I love. My child has separation anxiety but they still loved her and helped her when she would cry. She was a late walker but not long after she started here she began to walk. She also says her colors in Spanish, which I love that she can learn different cultures and languages! I highly recommend going!

The staff and teachers are wonderful! The owner, Mrs. Kelly is always so involved, she is there every morning and every pick up! We always feel so welcome. Our daughter enjoys going to class daily. She comes home and applies what she has learned at Childrens Lighthouse, from sign language to new words! We couldnt ask for a better place to care for our daughter.

My husband and I are so pleased with Childrens Lighthouse - Lake Houston. We absolutely love the staff and teachers. My son started in room 5 and is now in room 7. He loves going to school every day and he learns so much and continues to surprise my husband and I with what he knows. In addition to the great atmosphere, I also love that Soccer Shots of Humble is partnered with Childrens Lighthouse - Lake Houston. My son loves being able to play soccer on Mondays (really, its what gets him out of bed in the morning!). After having my son in two daycares prior, Im so thankful to find a daycare that works for my son. A huge thank you to Ms. Kelly, Ms. Lori, Ms. Merari, Ms. Amy and my sons teachers for being amazing!

We love this school very much. Our son was diagnosed with ADHD and we have had problems in previous schools (church daycares). The teachers here are very good and patient and they have been a perfect match for our son. Now he likes going to school and has been able to make lots of friends. The school is also very clean, new, organized and they do lots of fun activities for the kids. The staff is very cordial and helps you with any issue you might have.

We toured just about every daycare center in the area and this is where we felt strongest that the owner and directors were passionate about providing quality care and listening to our wants and needs. This is our first time using daycare, so we approached the whole experience with some reservations, but Kelly, Lori, and Mary really put us at ease. If we ever have questions or specific needs for our daughters care, they are quick to respond and make sure we are taken care of. There are live webcams in all of the classrooms, so you can check in and see the teachers interacting with your child, and we frequently see our daughter getting hugs and kisses and being played with or read to on the floor (shes in the older infant room). They regularly have new activities for the children and for the parents. Theres a splash pad and playground that our daughter loves. Once a month they offer a parents night out where theyll keep your child into the evening (for about what youd pay for a babysitter). It goes without saying that the facility is clean and secure. We are so happy weve found Lighthouse.

My children enjoy going to school everyday! They are challenged by the curriculum but they love every minute of it! The teachers are great and the in house enrichment programs are a great bonus

Amazing childcare in the Summerwood Subdivision of Northeast Houston. Teachers and curriculum are great, their summer program is packed with amazing field trips that my daughter loved, all the food is cooked fresh on-site and the staff is very friendly, welcoming and quick to help with any questions.

Best place for child care. Management team really love every single student. My son learns so much everyday!! Highly recommend

When I decided to send my daughter to preschool, I searched all around the area for a place that not only felt right, but provided a strong educational foundation. Before touring Lighthouse, I was actually starting to think my standards were to high because I toured the majority of the preschools in the area and always left somewhat disappointed. Lighthouse was definitely a breath of fresh air and was exactly what I was looking for in terms of a safe effective learning environment. The staff are very warm and welcoming, the facility is clean, and the fact that they have cameras so that you can check in at any moment was a definite plus.I chose Lighthouse not because we needed a daycare (I am stay at home mom), but because I wanted my daughter to start the transition to preschool and to start gaining a sense of independence (she is 3 years old). Boy was it a tough transition! The first week was absolutely brutal, but Lighthouse and the whole staff noticed the hard transition and adjusted accordingly. They had additional staff in the classroom that week to help my daughter. I noticed on the camera the extra hugs, attention, and even support that was given to her to help her adjust. I noticed directors and even the owner come in to her class to check on her and help make her feel comfortable. They let me tweek our schedule and even worked with me to create a schedule that worked best for us. The flexibility and accommodations that they made really showed me how much they cared and how valued we were. I really appreciated how attentive the staff were and how such a tough transition was handled. This alone showed me that I made the right decision by picking them.Another perk is that the classroom is not staffed based on state “regulations” which is a HUGE plus. They staff the class based on the needs of the teachers as well as the kids to ensure an effective learning environment. I’ve watched them go from 2 to 3 teachers all because the extra attention was needed to ensure our kids were learning (and it surely helped)! Within 3 weeks of being there, my little girl has learned how to spell a few words, she knows the days of the week, months of the year- and the list can go on. If this was only the first few weeks, I’m very excited to see what preK3 has in store for her and can’t wait to see the growth over the next year.I highly recommend Children’s Lighthouse Lake Houston. You’ll fall in love with the place, curriculum and staff.

Parents I do not recommend this daycare! First week of my child going to the daycare they left her sitting in the same spot for 2 hours nobody encouraged her to play with the other kids I watched on the cameras and she was left at the breakfast table for two hours, next the teachers lied to my face multiple times about my child’s food intake, the third my child was given spoiled milk to eat with her cereal, last but not least her last day she was there from 630 in the morning until 3:50 almost 4 in the afternoon and she was only changed twice I left the daycare almost in tears because my daughter was treated poorly from day one parents if you actually care about your child’s well being I would not recommend this place if it was the last option on earth. This place is short staffed and the classrooms are always merged because staff members don’t show up for work so be prepared to drop your kids off to other teachers and even the staff have issues with financial department within the daycare. So be prepared for additional (fake fees) almost every week. This place gets negative 2 stars from me. Also I’m convinced that the other review are FAKE!
