What a great PLACE! I scheduled my appointment, filled out paper work, had my consult, got my braces ALL IN THE SAME DAY! Where else would that be possible? NOWHERE! Everyone was so friendly and kind. I am super excited for my new and improved smile. While waiting on my braces I noticed the color choices. I have debated forever about fixing my smile. A self conscious issue that I dealt with as a small child to an adult. After doing research, I stumbled upon Birmingham Orthodontics. After reading many reviews and seeing friends and family that have used them, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. From the initial call for setting up and appointment, to arriving at the facility… everything was a breeze. I went in for a consultation and ended up getting my braces put on the same day. Mickey (spelling?) was so friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable during the entire process… she was great!!!! Overall my rating is 5 stars. If you have been debating on getting braces…. We visit the the Hoover office. They were quick to get us back. Explained everything that they were going to do during the consult. They even had a gift for my daughter. Dr. Pugh was very personable and great with kids.I’m so glad we went to Birmingham Orthodontics and we look forward to seeing them again next year!

Staff is very friendly. They are prompt with appointment times. They discuss treatment options in detail to promote understanding and allow you to choose the option that is most comfortable for you. They have very affordable payment plans. Several locations with the option to pick the one closest to home. I drove over an hour to this initial appointment today and received same day braces for my son. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the care and service extended to my child. Highly recommend!

Birmingham Orthodontics- Hoover, has transformed. Ive noticed the difference in a few months to a year. Every dental specialist (not sure the proper title) that I have came in contact, has always been friendly, informative, and very helpful when I ask questions. I appreciate this. My last visit was great and the front desk young man is very sweet and friendly. These are the things you look for in your visit.:)

The assistants are always very nice, I always feel like the Orthodontist is running around and when he looks at my mouth it seems very rushed. It doesn’t matter if you show up 30 minutes early, 10 minutes early or right on time . You will wait at least 15 minutes to be called in. Very frustrating when you have to get to work after your appointment. Still giving them 5 stars because I’ve been on the other side of things that can’t be changed. I would just like to put my input in where maybe they could learn from it.

This was my initial consultation and I was able to get my braces the same day, which saved me a few hundred bucks!! The wait wasn’t long, service was decent, and the staff was funny! All in all I was pleased! Now let’s see how well appointment number 2 flows next week shall we?

Bham Ortho did not put in my daughter’s braces or do any of her aftercare. But 3 years after they were removed she broke her appliance and I called them in a panic and they got her in within 2 days to get it fixed. They were very nice and accommodating and I’ll refer anyone that’s looking for an ortho office to them!

The orthodontist needs better communication with his patients. I never knew what was going on with my teeth and I would always ask the assistants. I feel like it should be a thorough explanation coming from the orthodontist himself. I shouldn’t be guessing what’s the next step. It’s common practice to explain all procedures. Orthodontics is not an exception.

Birmingham Orthodontics was the absolute best. We were able to get our consultation quick. The next steps of receiving treatment was quick and easy. The staff was so friendly and polite from the front office to the back office. My daughter felt comfortable with them and she loved Jordan. We are so glad we chose this practice

Great facility and staff has always been welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I feel I made a great choice picking this group and so would anyone else. My only suggested improvement would be to spend a little more time during the routine visits explaining how things are progressing. Not an extensive conversation but an extra 5 to 10 minutes to let a patient know that they are still on course or if it might be longer or shorter before having braces removed. However I do ask questions and they are always answered nicely, but I feel it would provide a better experience if some information was provided automatically.

As long as I waited to get my braces on, this has been the best experience. Visiting the dentist sends my anxiety through the roof, but they eased my mind to where I no longer mind going. Everything happens exactly the way they explain it.

I chose this office after researching a couple of offices in the area. The initial consultation was professional and a breeze. However, this office has purchased lots of technology that they don’t know how to use. It has eliminated the ease of communication with patients which is a big deal. Furthermore, Staff attitude is a bigger deal...some need adjusting. Perhaps the pressure of moving to a new office has many reacting to the stress in a negative way. The result is Three stars. A generous round up from 2.2 stars.

Great facility and location. The only issue I have is the Orthodontist does not communicate with you at all. He looks at your teeth, tell the assistant what to do and thats it. I would like a more personable experience and not just feel Im just a number. But the assistants and all other staff has been great, including the front desk.

They would be great if they had more facilities closer to the Metro-Birmingham area. Also, it’s like they expect you to sit and wait until slots are available when you may really need treatment. I haven’t had my braces tightened in three months due to COVID-19 and offices being closed. My mouth has been killing me yet when I called to see if I can come in to get checked, I still have to schedule an appointment a week or two out like my concerns are not urgent enough.

Extremely professional , no wait time! During pandemic they mailed my sets of Invisalign braces to me when they were closed . When they reopened I was nervous about returning for a visit. I was told to wait in my car .they came out took my temp and when it was time for my appointment they sent me a text that they were ready for me ! No one in the waiting area and I was in and out social distancing at its best ! Thank you!

They are affordable, but unfortunatly since they have expanded, the have lost their sense of hospitality and friendliness. I hate to go to the Hoover location because they do not speak, if you ask questions or have concerns, the dental/orthodontic assistants are very rude and sometimes uninformative which is irritating.I prefer the Trussville location.

I tried to pay the rest of the money for my daughter so she could get her braces removed, but they did not allow me to finish off the payment. She was told she was going to get them off after 6 months, but it’s been almost 3 years. Definitely not letting my other child go here....

This the 3rd person to have braces with Birmingham Orthodontics and beautiful teeth has always been the outcome. I have an issue with making patients stand on the sidewalk for 25 minutes waiting to come in. Every other office we’ve been to during this pandemic has allowed us to wait in the car and they text us to come in.
