I gave two stars because it is a clean place however they are very unprofessional and bias. The communication in horrible, I’ve been trying to get an appointment schedule for my child for the longest after they told me I just needed to get him cleared from his specialist. Apparently they sent his referral to another facility that I was not even notified about; then when you called to get information you either get hung up on or they tell you they will call you back and never received a phone call. I was excited to come here for my sons treatment because of one of the doctors I was told was amazing. I’m learning that a lot of places in Hinesville is operated the same way, it’s sickening in all honesty. Jesus!

Giving three since I believe the Dr. Myers does his job, but his receptionist needs better training or he should hire a new one. I had to repeat myself 3 times after I just told her and obviously she wasnt paying attention and just didnt care.

I had a horrible brake in my wisdom tooth that was causing excruciating pain. Dr. Meyers knew that I was paying out of pocket and he decreased the cost by 65%. He also continued my after care without charging me. I love them.

Dr. Meyers is a competent oral surgeon. However, the overscheduling and overbooking is pretty bad. While I waited for 4 hours AFTER my scheduled appointment, every seat was filled, with people standing around or outside. I overheard several people saying that they didnt get seen on their first appointment, so they were back the following week. I was lucky and he did get to me that day.Also, if you read this and still choose (or are stuck with) this facility, ask about filling out your paperwork online. The receptionist asked me and every other patient if wed done it. But whoever took my call when I scheduled failed to mention that option. Nor did they mention it one week out when they called, or the day before.At least the Dr. is good at what he does; its the only reason this isnt a 1-star.

I recently used Dr.Meyers in at the waycross office. This was the best treatment I had ever received! The staff is so helpful and friendly and answered all my questions with ease. I was very hesitate due to other reviews but once I met with the doctor and he also answered all my questions I was at ease with my surgery! The doctor was very concerned as was the staff. I would definitely recommend Dr.Meyers to anybody..he is now my go to dentist!

THE BEST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I traveled from columbia south Carolina to see Dr. Myers, and I was not disappointed. I was so frightened about my dental work, but Dr. Myers and his staff were so caring and professional I quickly consented to the work. They told up front what I had to pay and billed my insurance for the rest. I felt absolutely no pain! Dr. Myers even called to check on me the next day! Oh, and the office and equipment, state of the art and classy!

I got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday an I’m experiencing some swelling and pain but I’m sure it’s expected. I have a fear on being put to sleep an they made it well known that they’d take care of me and that they did. The staff an amazing an very generous!

Awful place check this out. My wife had her wisdom teeth removed then they proceeded to call me and tell me to pick her up. While at the time I was trying to get a friend to come with me to drive my car back home. I let them know this and they told me to dont worry about that come back and get her. I then told them I have a 3 month old baby Im not leaving my baby with my drugged up wife that just had wisdom teeth removed. They then told me she will be fine in a couple of minutes to take care of a 3 month old baby . Please no one go to this place they are clueless!!!!

The doctor is cool but the wait is ridiculously long like I’ve been here since before 3:30 and I’m still here waiting. People have come in after me and have went back and been seen while I’m still out in this cold waiting room waiting. Although I had a tooth pulled by Dr Myers before and he’s good at what he does and quick I don’t think I would come back a third time because of this wait. Smh

I dont know what it was. Other people that came later was seen before me. Once I entered the staff was nice but the dentist was not welcoming. Hopefully it was just a bad day but wasnt great.

The absolute worst oral surgeon I have ever been to in my entire life. I had to wait 3 hours to be seen even with an appointment. Patients that came in after me were seen before me. I do not recommend this oral surgeon to anyone in the Hinesville Ga area.

I was in so much pain I was referred to over four different oral surgeon offices and all four said that they wouldnt be able to get me in for an appointment for one wisdom tooth until the end of August. I called Dr. Myers office and the front desk assistant got me in the same day at 2:30. It was a pretty long wait but when you go to a busy business you have to have patience. The staff was wonderful , Dr Myers was wonderful , very professional. He was very honest with me that no medication would help this pain the tooth had to be removed, he removed the tooth the same day in 20 minutes. Woke up the next morning and the bleeding had slowed down a great deal, the staff even called to check on me, they made sure I was squared away. I most definitely enjoyed my experienced thank you to the entire staff and the awesome doctor . My experienced was with wonderful.

By far the worst experience ever!! My 13 years old daughter has to have wisdom removed and had her take a sleepy pill at 7 to be here at 8 for appointment. It is now 3 hours later and still sitting here. My poor daughter is nodding off and anxious and to have her waiting so long is very sad. I seen others come and go. They need to stop overbooking and trying to get a $100 facility fee they do not tell you about!!!

This is my second time in this office. I have had to wait in the waiting room longer than getting service. Im supposed to be getting my wisdom teeth out and I had taken my sleep pill at 830am an hour before my 9:30 appointment. It is now 11:22am, and I have yet to be called back ! Definitely considering another dentist because this is ridiculous not icluding the hour drive it takes me to get here 😤 the staff is great, but there definitely needs to be some changes to get patients in and out in a timely fashion.

Just got my wisdom teeth removed here, awful experience. They were understaffed, and overworked, and it showed. I showed up 20 minutes early to my 7:00 appointment, and wasnt even seen until over an hour and a half later....... The time for surgery finally comes and it was stuff from nightmares! I wake up in the middle of the surgery and obviously start freaking out a little. I kept asking the dentist, and his assistants why Im awake, and if Im supposed to be awake, only for my questions to be ignored. Literally as soon as the last tooth was pulled, the dental assistant shoves gauze down my mouth, sends me out the door with blood running down my face and shirt.I understand that some things are normal, or arent that big of a deal. I also understand that the staff probably has a lot on their plate, and deal with these types of things regularly. However, I dont go through surgery every day, and would have appreciated them being a bit more accomidating, and helpful. Especially when I wake up in the middle of the surgery and want to know whats going on.

First off they charge you a facility fee of $100 that your insurance doesnt cover. Then the wait is ridiculous absolutely no point in making appointments because they are never on time. The one girl behind the desk at check in was sweet but everyone else has a rude, stuck up, we are better then you attitude. I will never use his office again nor will I recommend anyone else to them.If you are in need of an oral surgeon please use the coastal oral surgery office their staff is so much nicer and they actually seem to care. Both of my sons have had to have wisdom teeth cut out. My oldest son used coastal oral surgery and the experience was great but my youngest used the southern ga oral surgery and both times we have came Ive been very unhappy with our experience.

The facility itself is nice and clean. However, I was instructed to accompany my fiancé to his appointment and he was to arrive at 0745 in the morning. We arrived early, and as I look at my watch currently it reads 0939. We are still waiting in the lobby to be seen. There are at least ten other patients waiting with us. Im sure they were given the same instructions that we did. Better time management and scheduling practices are needed.

I had a great experience and Dr. Myers was informative and very caring. I experienced a little discomfort after my surgery, but I ended up with very little swelling abd continued pain. Thanks to the wonderful staff and doctor. I have told all my family and co-workers about this dental office

My husbands appointment was at 9am. We got here at 8:30 so he could fill out paperwork. They JUST took him back at 11:15. Almost 3 hours, to me, is an unacceptable wait, especially when Ive seen several people come and go. If you cant keep an appointment time, you should a) not be practicing, b) call and reschedule, or c) have the courtesy to at least notify patients that there will be an ungodly wait time. Some people have lives, things to do other than sitting here in this waiting room. Not to mention its so cold that Im sitting here in a full winter jacket.

I have had severe dental fear for most of my life. From the first time I entered this office, I was made to fell welcome and comfortable.Dr Myers put me at ease,explained every step of the procedure, and carrried out the work with great skill and professionalism.

My wife had a tooth extraction and the nursegave us a script for pain medication with the wrong name on it. We spent the entire next day getting the run around even had the staff give an attitude. Long story short the Dr was great but the staff suck. They are quick to get your money but show no concern for their patients.

This place was phenomenal!! As soon as I walked thru your doors, I had and instant feeling that I was going to be taken care without any hassles. After having a botched wisdom tooth removal (not done by Southern Georgia Oral Surgery) that left me with an abscess and a massive infection that left cause incredible swelling and pain that developed in just a couple of days , Dr. Myers and his team were extremely courteous and helpful to solved my problem. All I had to do was give them a phone number and they handled the rest of getting all of the information that pertained to my situation. I would MOST DEFINITELY would recommend ANYONE in the Hinesville or Waycross area to come see Dr. Myers with their oral surgeon needs. Thank you once again to Dr. Myers and his team!!

Called to make an appointment and was given a time. Got a reminder for wrong time, called to confirm and was told oh she didnt write the time down. Got another wrong reminder and was told new time. They cant even tell time because I was told that 3:45 was only a 15 minutes difference from 4:30.Got to my sons appointment and no sign in sheet. Was told we will get to you. Sat there 30 minutes and I had to ask again and was told oh yeah you need to sign in. Worst office staff ever.

My Appointment was today at 4:00pm , I’ve been here since 2:50 pm. It’s now 5:10 and I have yet to be seen. I came here last week and had my wisdom teeth removed. Somehow I got an infection in my mouth. I’ve been in pain for a entire week just to have a appointment and have to sit in pain STILLL ! I informed the lady at the front desk that I am scheduled to be to work at 5. She just smiled and said that there was nothing she could do. What I don’t understand is why overbook ? I’ve had people be seen before me that came in a hour after me. So now I’m late for work and STILL IN PAIN WITH NO ANSWERS! I Will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTORS OFFICE TO ANYBODY !

Very informative and very friendly office staff

The staff was great but the wait time was terrible. I was called to come in 30mins earlier than my scheduled time so I came in 40mins early and still waiting a hour and 15 mins. I got two wisdom teeth pulled without being sedated because Im 38 weeks pregnant and it was quick and painless. Dr. Myers was really nice and informative. Im looking forward to the smoothie store 😊

Let me just start out by saying I have to have surgery AGAIN because they screwed it up. I thought I had an infection because there was a lump so I had a check up and it wasn’t only infected... it was my BONE about to pop through. He said “oh yeah I’ll gave to open it back up and shave it down...”Surgery got paid for that same day, and they just called me saying I owed more because it was just an estimate?? Why would they not just make you pay it all in one day. It’s so inconvenient and out of the way. Moral of my experience DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. you’ll just have to end up paying more than you need or hell, have your bone about to pop out and constantly be in pain like me!

I got an infection after having work done by Myers. A few days after my procedure by him, I went in asking for help because I was in a considerable amount of pain and the swelling was becoming ridiculous. He insisted I was fine. I ended up in the ER that night and had to have emergency surgery to treat the infection that he claimed I never had. I spent 3 days in the hospital with tubes in my face to drain the infection. All of this could have been avoided had he taken the time to actually do his job.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had at any type of clinic. My appt was at 8 oclock, I was here at 740. And I have YET to be seen by any doctor or nurse. Im still in the waiting in the waiting room for my surgery that was scheduled 2 hours ago. The wait is terrible & so is the time management. There needs to be major changes in this dental facility. I will not recommended this place to anyone.
