Dr. Simmons is the best dentist in the area. My son and I have been patients for the past 8 years and we super satisfied with the friendly service and high quality service the dental clinic provides.

In order to leave a review you have to give a least one star. He really doesn’t deserve any. This is my opinion because of My experiences. So, The problem is not the nurses because they are always very lovely. Even the ladies at the front desk that check you in are very nice, polite and professional. The problem is the disrespectful Dr. Simmons. He’s extremely rude and unprofessional. Maybe he has his picks on who he likes to be nice to I don’t know, but the three times I came with my children he was what I call nasty. I tried to be nice to him until I couldn’t take it any longer. My children will never be seen there ever again. Maybe he use to be a nice Dentist some time ago, that isn’t the way he is today.

Unfortunately, this was the only dentists office in my area that accepted my insurance. Otherwise, I would have avoided them at all costs. Dr. Simmons was incredibly rude and judgemental upon examining my teeth, though he didnt know anything about my genetics or upbringing and he defintely didnt care to find out. Ive called the office a total of 12 times since the beginning of December with no answer each time. Leaving a voicemail (or multiple in my case), like they ask you to, is pointless as they dont care about your well being enough to return a simple phone call. At this point, letting my teeth rot out of my face would give me less of a headeche than dealing with these clowns.

I dont understand how they can call themselves the most renowned and comprehensive family dentistry practice.I was blown away by several things.First and foremost this place is so outdated, its such a rundown dental clinic.On their website theres a comprehensive list of dental services supposedly performed at their office- Root Canal Treatment is listed as one of them but yet Dr. Simmons told me to find someone that performs Root Canals?!Confusing, right?On that same list they claim to be able to surgically extract teeth... Wrong again... I received a referral instead.Nothing comprehensive about this place or the Dentist operating this facility! 25 years in business but you cant pull a tooth or do a root canal?!And as far as family dentistry goes; I would not trust this place with my kids!I recommend taking kids to the place next door to this incompetent practice, Surf Side Kids, where the dentists are trained (and equipped!) to treat kids.

I went in for a visit yesterday and had a great time. I loved the set up of the office once I finally realized where I was supposed to go. The staff was very understanding and quickly got me squared away for my appointment. I didnt wait long before Brigitte came to get me. A lovely lady with a great German accent was so sweet to spend time with. She explained everything to me like it was my first dentist appointment and i loved it. I felt like I was visiting an old friend. She cleaned and examined me teeth and gently reminded me of the need to floss every night. Then I met Dr Simmons and he was so kind and helpful. He talked TO me and not AT me so that was refreshing. I loved the entire visit. The front desk ladies were fabulous and attentive. Im looking forward to my next visit.

I was very nervous about having some fillings done. I had a very bad experience in the past at another office. I was given something the night and the morni g before the fillings, the young lady that assisted Dr. Simmons was very calm and because of how she made me feel I was able to relax. It was the easiest and most painless experience I have ever had.

Just took my 12 year old and 6 year old here today 4/10/18 and I am very happy with both the staff and doctor! My 6 year old was petrified to go into the dentist, but the entire staff made sure she was very comfortable!! Highly recommend Hinesville Smiles!

If you get sent here by the VA: please call them and get seen elsewhere. This place is poorly ran

Hinesville Smiles is the most unprofessional place Ive visited in life. The staff verbally discussed my medical procedures with the receptionist as loudly as possible. The were more interested in where I worked and how much my dental insurance would cover for certain PROCEDURES. The shades they ask you to where while they use the most outdated equipment are smeared with the last patients makeup and debi they refuse to clean off. Other staff invites themselves in examination room the read over and discuss your examination. I even heard two hygienists argue a little and sarcastically insult the doctor. NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE USELESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BECAUSE YOU ARE UNINSURED.

Whoever schedules the appointments needs to be fired, apparently theyre not good with putting correct times in the system. i thought schools taught you how to tell time correctly. Didnt we all learn that in 1st grade? ... but I guess someone didnt pay attention to that part. Now I have to be in pain for another week because of someones careless mistake.I would give 0 stars if it was an option.

Totally unprofessional and be cautious on how they bill your insurance company. Had my daughter get her check up and teeth cleaned, once completed, made an appt for cavities that were found on an X-ray. Went back to get them filled, received a call from them stating they found another cavity on the X-ray and that I had to bring my daughter back to get it filled. Mind you they already billed my insurance company and I paid the co payments already. They billed my insurance company again and wanted me to pay another co payment. I told them how is it possible that 2-3 months later you look at an X-ray and say we need to fill another cavity. Not trust worthy be cautious

This place is just awful. Every referill that I have gotten here has been in Savannah or statesboro and I always get billed cause they don’t care about asking for your insurance to make sure your fully covered.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The practice smells like an old people home and I dont think theyre equipment is sterile. I saw them take some funny looking ring that I think they used for xrays out of a tub of water then I saw them put it right back in the tub of water. And I also heard that the suction isnt sterile. So if you want AIDs than this is the place for you. Other wise stay away because this place freaking sucks
