I would not go here. Everyone seems friendly until there is an issue.I explained to the doctor initially that I have a sensitive mouth and he said he understood. When it came time for the cavities to be taken care of I asked if he could use extra numbing medication he responded that I shouldnt need it and if it started to hurt to raise my hand. I raised my hand on 2 out of 3 cavities.A week later when I came in to have a night guard fitted I told him there was discomfort from the fillings. He adjusted them and it felt better than it was before. Then they used a new scanner kind of tool to get the fit for the mouth guard.I came in a few weeks later to check the fit of the night guard, it fit terribly and I told the doctor so. I could not even seat the guard properly without extreme pain. The doctor had an assistant use the dental alginate to make a mold of my teeth.Even more weeks later the mouth guard comes in and it also fits terribly again. I told the doctor it was uncomfortable and he said it looked fine and I should try it out. I went home and tried it one night. In the morning when I took it off two of my teeth felt loose and were sore for the entire day.Endless weeks later I made an appointment as my fillings were hurting again and I figured I would take in the mouth guard to see if the doctor could fix it. At the appointment the doctor looked at my mouth and said they looked fine and they shouldnt hurt. I told him there was a sore spot where he touched the floss to. He continued to explain to me how other patients were complaining about their teeth aching and that it was just my sinuses and I should get a neti pot and a humidifier(have them and have not helped noticeably). I felt extremely uncomfortable that my pain was being dismissed and I didnt know what I was talking about or the difference between my teeth or sinuses. So I agreed and moved on the the mouth guard.I told him where it was putting pressure on my teeth and he adjusted the mouth guard multiple times with it just shifting where it hurt. I told him it hurt and he said it was normal and had to put pressure somewhere. I asked him if I could have a refund for it as it hurt my teeth and I paid for it out of pocket and up front. He said I could leave the night guard on the table or they can dispose of it if I didnt want it but there was no refund in an aggressive manner. I again felt uncomfortable so I told him I would take it home and try it out.Later on the office would give me a check for about 85% of the total I paid for the mouth guard as they had to keep some to cover lab fees. I told them I would try it out for the weekend and bring it back just to make sure it wasnt me and so I wouldnt feel bad for returning it.I would of rated 1 star but they decided to give me a refund on a defective product that took 2 months to receive and cause a lot of pain. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere!

I have dental anxiety. When I made my initial appt. I was told they are experienced with patients with dental anxiety. I went to the first appt. and I thought it went well and I thought I found the right dentist. Victoria, the hygienist, was great.About a month later, I brought my autistic son in for a second opinion to check if he had cavities. I brought my son in because I was told he could be treated there ( I asked prior if I could bring him in and explain his behaviors)My son did well with his xrays (first time anyone was able to get all his mouth). After the xrays, Travis, the dentist, comes in and recommends we go to a dentist for special needs children like mine. I told him we had been to 5 other specialized dentist and they all have not worked out. My son did need work done and we tried to get it done, but it did not go well. No fault to the practice.I went back recently and had to sign new consent paperwork. The docs said xrays are done annually. I was getting ready for my cleaning and they wanted xrays. I said it has not been a year. I also had recently had xrays done by a different dentist and ask if they can use them. I explained I went to another dentist being proactive because if I ever needed sedation for any treatments, not cleanings, I could go there.Travis said they could use the xrays, but was not willing to work with another dentist. I have no issues with my teeth and did not need the other dentist, I did this just in case... I was told I should look for a sedation dentist because of all we discussed the last visit. What he failed to remember the past conversation had to do with my son not me. I was told to go to a sedation dentist without currently needing any treatment and I should go somewhere where I am more comfortable. I could not believe what I heard. I was so upset, I could barely do a cleaning. I thought I was at a place I felt comfortable. After the cleaning, I was asked to schedule my next appt. I stated Travis told me to go somewhere else. Then it got turned around and Victoria said I can stay there. I said no and why would I stay if I am not wanted. If you have dental anxiety, this is not the place to go. I was shamed for my dental anxiety and what Travis did was ethically wrong.

I have so much anxiety about going to the dentist, that I only go when I am in extreme pain. I even end wasting my dental benefits out of fear of pain because of some very bad dental experiences in my past. ... fast forward 15 years .. I’ve got a mouth full of serious issues and my self confidence is at an all time low. Months ago a woman recommended I go see Dr. Stratton.Today was my first appointment and I have to say I was not disappointed with the recommendation. When I arrived I was very anxious, and I let the front desk staff know. She was compassionate and even told me we could take it as slow as I needed to. During the x rays I was fine and yet she still kept making sure I was comfortable. Dr. Stratton came in next with a very friendly demeanor. He was able to complete an exam without hurting me at all!(This is the first exam in 35 years I didn’t want to cry from that metal scraper touching my teeth)We went over some options and set up a treatment plan.I will have my “work” appointment soon and while I am still relatively anxious about having the work done... I am also excited and even looking forward to having a new smile that I can be proud of.
