Most people only write reviews when they are upset, as most of the time its the only way they can stick it to the establishment. Let me dispel one of the myths I saw in a review here. They WILL see if you if you have NOT been vaccinated. Im proof myself. They dont even ask your vaccination status during the intake process. Maybe if you are running a fever and have COVID like symptoms you can be turned away. Ive gone to urgent care three times now, twice for a similar ailment that needed follow-up and my primary is also with PE. The wait time in the lobby varies, of course, but it is still much shorter time to wait than the ER. All the staff were courteous, from the upfront staff, to the MAs that took my vitals. My Doctor, Emily Richey, is a wonderful caring person that did not dismiss my pain or treat me like I was exaggerating. She diagnosed me promptly, explained what she needed to do, and delivered painless treatment. I highly recommend PE Urgent Care to anyone.

Urgent Care has a wonderful Staff and Doesnt waste time. They are very good at what they do. I appreciate their kindness and professionalism..

The staff was very rude and disrespectful. I am a student and do not have much money.I had to get a 2 step TB test for my school. When I went the first time, I recieved a TB test as well as a physical. I was told and paid $23 for the TB test, and $60 for the physical. I also had to wait 4 hours with a five year old. When I did get called back, I was told she could not go back with me. What am I suppose to do?, leave her in the car? My mom had to end up watching her while I went back. The nurse who gave me my TB test, rushed it and ended up making me bleed more than a few drops. The doctor seemed like I was getting on his nerves by making him do his job. Im sorry but if I am paying money for something, I expect it to be done right and not take 100 hours. Fast forward to today: I go in to receive my second TB test, thinking it was going to cost $23 like last time. The nurse was rude and rolled her eyes when taking my information. I was then told that it would be $23 plus $47 to give it to me. I was never told that the only reason it was $23 was due to me getting a physical. I spent money in gas and wasted my time and money I dont have. Very disappointed and none of my family nor myself will be back.

I have been seen here before, as well as other members of my family. I will NEVER go back. Today, a family member went to be seen and was turned away because she wasn’t vaccinated!! Yet, was told she could be seen at the ER. I thought it was illegal to refuse medical treatment? Please inform me if I am wrong. Also, so now we’re flooding the already busy and short staffed emergency rooms with non-emergencies because we’re refusing to see those who are unvaccinated. Long story short, if you haven’t had your shot, find somewhere else to go.

My only comment is centered on the fact the office does not accept Tricare. Its a Sunday, Im in need of a medical profession alls opinion... These cats dont accept my insurance... Peace! Glad you do not support the troops!

Arrived at urgent care at 5:20 on a Friday, doors were locked with a sign that says closed. Their website states they close at 6. I called and was told that the doctors can come up front and close the office anytime they want, and thats what they did today. I think thats a poor way to run a business. If you arent going to stay open until your advertised time, then change the time. Close at 5, close at 4, but honor what your website states. People cant make informed decisions if you close at random times. Not professional. Seriously, if you are so busy you need to close at 3, close at 3, and then advertise you close at 3 so people know. Randomly closing at different times, not ok.

I have my primary care doctor as well as most specialists that I need at Physicians East. I and my family always go to their urgent care when necessary. Can there be a wait. Certainly. Some people are sicker than others and will take longer to be seen. The important thing is the quality of the care, which for me and my family has always been excellent. And anything you have done there will be seen on your medical records at Physicians East. That means excellent coordination of care. So, anything urgent, other than things that obviously need the ER at the hospital, is taken care of for me and my family at Physicians East Urgent Care.

There is absolutely no reason to wait 3hrs for a Covid swab. A doctor does not need to do the swab a nurse can do this. There was only 6 people in line to get a swab should not take 3hrs.

Gloria Chambles? She was incredibly rude. I tried to explain that I was concerned for my parents (regarding getting a wheelchair) she said that she “would have been nicer if I told the truth” thus effectively calling me a liar. I really hope her manager sees this review. She was aggressive and mean. Horrible healthcare worker. I feared for my parents safety.

Horrendous. Unresponsive. Doc prescribed a medication for my wife that exacerbates a preexisting condition. She has tried to get a call back for a different prescription for 22 hours. Drive to Kinston, Washington, or New Bern, but avoid this sorry place.

Staff had myself and two other patients wait outside ten minutes in 86 degree weather to just enter the building. Im 32 weeks pregnant and have a condition that threatens my babys and my health. You could see the staff sitting right there, talking completely ignoring us.When they finally let me in (left the other two outside), the same staff that saw is standing outside made me (the only person in the waiting area) stand there waiting again to check in while they continued to talk in front of me. The only reason one of them acknowledged me, was because I walked away to sit down.This staff needs serious customer service training. Im happy I had an appointment and not a more serious issue that needed to be attended to. This staff has no clue what professionalism is and if they dont care about their job, find others that do. Thankfully, Ill never have to come back.

Dont bother going for respiratory issues if you are not in their system, would not even see a 14 year old . Disgusting service where insurance records are more important than a kids health.

Be prepared to wait an hour just to be told to sit in the lobby. Then it’ll be at least another hour to be called back if your lucky. Expect to be there for 3+ hours. Wouldn’t recommend.

The lady who answered the phone was rude when I called to ask about their location and if they were open and taking patients. I was able to get checked in promptly and taken to one of the patient rooms, but there is where I remained for over an hour. No one checked in to update me if I was next or follow up on my care. I understand this is an urgent care facility, but to a degree it SHOULD NOT be unreasonable to check in with your patients to confirm that they will be assisted and of course not EVERY 5 MINUTES, but at least once within that hour timeframe. In the amount of time I was at this place, I would have received care and given information or a diagnosis and on my way home had I went to Fast Med. Very unprofessional and uncaring to have patients come here for help and have to walk out of your facility because of the lack of care or concern given. And as for the follow up call the nurse made to me was a reflection of this facility as I was criticized for leaving instead of having the decency to apologize for falling short of providing quality care at such an urgent capacity that you should expect to provide.

I took my very sick daughter to this location and was forced to sit outside in the parking lot for 2.5 hours in the 90 degree heat before she was seen. Not sure if this is because of their Covid protocols or it’s just their standard practice of care for sick children. My daughter was already sick and then overheating made things way worse. If you’d like for your children to have a heat stroke while waiting to be seen then this is the place for you. I’m giving it two stars instead of one because the Dr actually called to check on her today. Honestly the worst experience we have ever had at an urgent care.

Physicians East UC sets itself aside from your typical urgent care centers. Wait time was reasonable. Most of the providers are physicians rather than PA or NPs. I saw Dr. Stephanie Roberts who was kind and most importantly, comprehensive. She took her time and was deliberate with her diagnosis and treatment - something not common in most urgent care centers.

I was very pleased with the quick service and great doctor. I have been twice and have been pleased both times.

I called this location to ask about the wait time, they had just opened and I wanted to check before driving there. The woman I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude. She got very hostile after I asked if she could give me a typical estimated wait time. I would absolutely NOT recommend going to this location. I ended up going to Fastmed. They were attentive, polite, and had very quick service during their morning hours.

Great health care providers here who take the extra time & care with their patients. Sometimes there is a little wait, but its only because its a very convenient location with a very capable & dedicated staff whose caring reputation has created lots of repeat patients.

I always receive pleasant and well-timed services! Nurse Donna is an angel!! She calms you down and has such a wonderful spirit! Dr. Jordan is awesome and has a relaxed, person- centered approach to providing services. Thank you!

I just want to say thank you to the wonderful staff. With all of this that is going on right now, everyone was so kind and helpful. I have seen complaints about waiting time, but when you walk in with no appointment and get seen and treated so good it is well worth the wait. I have waited longer at my Dr office when I have had an appointment. I am feeling much better now so thank you for helping me.

Ive been here several times for urgent medical needs when my PCP didnt have a same day appointment available. Every provider Ive ever seen has been friendly, very knowledgeable, and I have always received the care I needed. The front desk staff and every nurse Ive encountered has been friendly, caring and compassionate. Ive always felt heard, understood and never rushed even though they move patients in and out very quickly (which is much appreciated). They seem to be very efficient. I am confident in their abilities and their staff, and I will continue to return for any urgent medical needs.

Had a bad injury to my leg and needed stitches. Staff was very quick and followed all protocol for Covid. Saw Dr Mullins and she was wonderful. Got a tetanus shot, stitches and patched up as quickly as possible. This was on a Saturday around lunchtime. Thank you for fixing me up.

Ill admit I was angry when I first encountered Bee Gee, because Id been given the run-around and treated rudely at another PE facility. Bee Gee listened patiently, then calmly told me how shed help ... and then did everything she said she was going to do! Thanks to this wonderful lady and Dr. Roberts at this location, my issue was handled. Its nice to know caring professionals still exist in the medical world!

I went with a broken toe. Waited on hard cement in Covid line till i was next to give my info. It was all taken, then I was turned away because I only have Medicare. I had researched it online the night before and was sure when i checked on Medicare, it said all forms accepted.I never go in the door, so cant say how to rate it otherwise.Obviously wont go here again and will let everyone I know not to bother. This place cares about money, not people!

Everyone is so nice here, I got right back to a room and had a thorough exam. They truly were compassionate and wanted to help me feel better. They made sure i got everything i needed to ensure a speedy recovery. Great experience .

Had a great experience taking my daughter there today. She had an ear infection. I was stressed thinking the wait would be long but we were in and out in under an hour. The front desk staff was so friendly and efficient. They even let her pick out a toy for her siblings to bring home from the treasure chest. Dr. Kevin Johnson was by far the friendliest physician my daughter has ever been seen by. He told jokes, made a balloon animal with the glove, and was knowledge and quick. We are self-pay patients and they even gave us a 20% discount by paying the day of. Will definitely go back if we need out of ordinary hours sick care.

Thank you for being so kind & compassionate!! I had to call them to see if they’d see my son who has flu symptoms even though his ID was stolen in robbery last week. (Another urgent care wouldn’t see him without it). I explained the circumstances over the phone and she said tell him to come in!!! My son said everyone was nice and visit was relatively quick considering the amount of people waiting to be seen.

Every time I go to this place they act like they don’t care! Today I went in to get seen and the doctor said: “You don’t look like you have the flu so I’m not even going to check for it. I’m just going to write you an antibiotic and if you feel bad take it, if not don’t.” I paid $90 for that?!!! I literally was out of the office so quick, before I left, the woman up front asked was I able to be seen!? How was my doctors visit so quick that the receptionist up front couldn’t even tell if I went to the back or not?!!! I walked in with a temperature of at least 99 degrees and all I got was a 5min visit. I will NEVER go back to this place! I could have went on google and diagnosed myself if I would have known that was going to happen.I will say the caucasian older lady up front was very helpful! I wish she was a nurse/doctor because she helped me out more than anyone else did! But overall this place is TRASH 🚮

If I could leave no stars I would. Tried calling 3 times to ask a simple question. Decided to drive 40 minutes anyway (our ER is HORRIBLE and we don’t have an urgent care in our town) just to find out they no longer accept patients under 5.

Excellent service by a friendly, professional staff. Dr. Kevin Johnson was thorough and competent, while maintaining a friendly rapport with a sense of humor. The registration and nursing staff were all friendly and efficient. If you are in need of medical care, you won’t do better than Physicians East Urgent Care!

I have been by twice in this last year and have nothing bad to say! I had to walk in both times, no appointment, and was still seen within a reasonable timeframe. Just this morning my husband had to go in, again with no appointment, and they helped him out immediately, with no charge since it was something very minor!! Very friendly staff, fast service, convenient location. The only place I will go to and suggest from now on! Thank you Physicians East!!!!

The full service here is great even if you have to wait a bit. They offer in office diagnostics on sight and that saves time and money. The Providers are very knowledgeable and skillful in diagnostics.

Super high blood pressure and feeling like I was going to stroke out. The nurse and Dr. Saw me in just minutes with no appointment and I was in and out in an hour. They drew a blood sample, did some lab work, and gave me the meds I needed. I was feeling better that night. They also gave me a prescription and a referral to a new local physician. Highly reccomend. Very friendly staff throughout the office too.

I used to really love this urgent care, because the doctors were really fantastic, but my past few visits I have waited 3+ hours to be seen, with no explanation or apologies offered. If you want to go to this Urgent Care, plan to be here all day.

Was just denied care because they had a busy day. I was told they saw over 100 patients today and that the doctor didn’t want to see me, since it would be a 45 minute wait.What part of “do no harm” allows a doctor to deny care to a patient in extreme pain because they just don’t want to?They said the emergency room is a better choice. The employees were very friendly but I got there at 11 am and didn’t leave until after 3 pm. Only to be tested for strep and mono which in total takes about 30 minutes (and they even told me that). Susan the PA was very nice and great all around. I wouldn’t say THIS is the place you need to go, especially if you plan on leaving at a reasonable time.

This place is so unprofessional. My daughter went there with a bad ear ache. They treated her horribly and sent her home telling her that she “had a hole in her ear” . Said they can’t help her, she needs a specialist and she will most likely need surgery. Told her to take some Tylenol and did absolutely NOTHING to help her. Then called my phone the next day because they never bothered to ask her for her phone number. Was so rude to me the next day telling me they made her an appointment with said specialist and I told them they did nothing to help her and we are more than capable of making our own appointments. I hung up and they literally called me back three more times until I told them it was harassment. We went to a specialist and there is absolutely no hole in my daughters ear at all and it was ear migraines so now we will get a huge bill from a specialist that she never needed to see. Now today I get a certified letter telling me I’m not allowed to go to physicians east anymore because of “inappropriate behavior you have displayed “. Seems convenient on there part since I told an office manager that we have been treated horribly for sometime now in other Physicians East offices and we will no longer use their offices at all anymore and the next thing you know, I get this letter. I won’t even get into the billing of them! That’s a whole other nightmare! I have never seen so many unprofessional doctors, nurses, desk staff in my entire life. They don’t even deserve one star but did not have another option!

Not very happy with this place.I came in at around 12:40 pm. Waited in the waiting room about an hour, only to be brought into a room and left to wait for over an hour. Then, the doctor came in, checked me out quickly and not thoroughly, had a long conversation with me about irrelevant things like my work, and left me to wait once again. Terrible service. I can hear the doctors having personal conversations through the door. All I wanted was to see if I had a sinus infection. The staff was very kind and caring, but they just took far too long. Definitely putting this place on my “do not attend” list. I honestly would only come back here if I really had to and had no other option.

Weve been here for 4 hours just to get 1 person looked at. Who still hasnt even been checked out yet. If you come here, i hope you dont have anything to do at all that day bcuz youre gonna waste away in the waiting Lobby the entire day. I cant even coment on how good the care is because we dont even know yet. We were told wed be done in no more than 2 hours, this is rediculous.From what i can tell most of the staff is friendly tho, and its a very clean facility

It was a busy day and everyone I know is sick so I expected a longer wait. They got us back as quickly as possible and although Im sure they were exhuasted at the end of a very long day, they treated my daughter and I as though we were their first patient of the day. Very efficient, friendly and courteous. Thanks for the great care!

My husband received stitches for a cut on his hand. The whole time we were there, both the providers and nurses were wonderful! They took excellent care of my husband and even had time to say hi to me and our infant twins that we had to bring. Would definitely recommend this urgent care despite a brief wait to receive the care we did! We will be back if ever needed again.

There were 4 cars in the lot when I got here, 3 people were seen in the waiting room. I sat in the room for an hour and could hear the doctor talking about personal things. Then, the doctor came in and spent a minute in the room. Never laid a stethoscope on me, had to ask him to check my ears, which was part of the complaint of what was going on. Then, had to wait for the medical assistant to come back with my discharge papers 15 minutes later after listening to their personal conversation the entire time. I will not be back here or give them any money again.

I love this urgent care. My son had a bad cold and could hardly take a deep breath and the doctor was so thorough with her diagnosis and care. My son ended up getting a chest X-ray and a albuterol nebulizer treatment. She gave us medicine to help with his symptoms and walked him around the office to see his oxygen level expending energy versus at rest. All the things that were done made my son and me feel like we were getting the best possible care and nothing was rushed or ignored. Thank you Physicians East Urgent Care 😊.

My husband and I have had to use Physicians East Urgent Care and Sleep Center several times and Everytime we were greeted with a very friendly staff and did not have a long wait time. If you cannot get into your PCP and cannot wait, I recommend them. The doctors and nurses explained everything to us and was very professional. The staff also was very friendly. Have gone here several times for a number of different things. I went super early the other day and about 1pm another time (during Flu Season. The wait is not always that long. Amber and Dr. Ziegelmann were the two that I saw that day. They were very helpful and polite. Upon leaving I was scheduled to see another doctor but the apt date was a little far off for what my concerns were. I called back and Dr. Ziegelmann got me in to have an exam the next day at the main physicians east. Would def go here every time. Doctors have a hard job already without having to deal with impatience and rude people. Kudos to you guys Urgent Care for always being so understanding and helpful. 😊

Been here 3 hrs. Not enough staff. Update - Finally sent to exam room @ 3 hrs 10 min. Saw PA @ 4 hrs. She was attentive, professional & courteous. Finally out after 4 hrs & 20 min. Ive added a star, but it is still too long to wait.

Friendly and courteous staff. I had a diagnosis and was out of there in one hour, which seemed very reasonable. My prescription was transmitted to my pharmacy properly. I have zero problems with this visit and zero problems with returning if I ever need to.

Would give it less than a star if possible. We walked in and the two ladies at the front desk never acknowledged us, so we walked back out after basically being ignored for 5mins. One lady pretended to be on the phone, but never said a word into the phone the whole time. The other lady just stared at her computer until a staff person came from behind her needing change. Would it be so hard to look up at two people, who are standing in the designated area to wait until you are called, and say I will be right with you or at least smile as if you do see us. Id like to think that patients are important to an Urgent Care medical facility.

By far the best urgent care experience Ive ever had! The staff genuinely care about their patients. I came in just before closing and ended up needing a small procedure. I was comforted and never once felt as if they were rushing to get me out... Dr. Mullis, the nurses and the receptionists are all AWESOME!!!

Entered empty waiting room. Was told I had come at the best possible time. Quickly escorted to room where I waited one hour. After five minute consultation, waited for nurse to do blood work. Wait time was excessive and I chose not to proceed. (Beware: they charge by the test, and I had already been tested for four other things.) I was told I would be contacted with results. 24 hours later—nothing. I called—no results yet. Girl at checkout seemed new and tried to overcharge me due to her inexperience. In hindsight, I would’ve rather gone to my own doctor and camped out in the waiting room.

The lady at the front desk was lovely, as well as the nurse practitioner that took my vitals. Well maintained and clean. Staff is friendly, and the wait time is just like the doctors office. Thank you for your help guys! This will be my go-to urgent care in Greenville.

Waited 2 and a half hours to be seen. I was told by the doctor and nurse that I’d be able to pick up my prescription immediately after leaving the office. I went to my usual pharmacy, and they didn’t have any prescription for me. I called Physician’s East and they told me they had accidentally sent it to the wrong place and that they would fax the prescription to the correct place promptly. The secretary must’ve never gotten to it - because after waiting 30 mins at the pharmacy, they still hadn’t received notice of a prescription for me. Noticing how sick I am, the pharmacist wrote what looked like a new prescription, made some phone calls, and transferred my prescription somehow. Physician’s East is disorganized

I had a great experience here today. All of the staff that I encountered during my visit were incredibly kind, compassionate, and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable and very well taken care of.

Theyre really fast because, unless you have a very minor boo-boo, they dont do anything for you so youll have to leave right quick for some other venue that can.

I love the staff and today my doctor went above and beyond for me. First time in a while I have had a doctor take me seriously and try to help figure out was going on instead of pushing an antibiotic on me and not actually investigating further.

My daughter is a student at ECU and couldnt get an appointment at the Student Health Center. She had been sick for awhile and up all night coughing. I read all the reviews from Urgent Cares near ECU and sent her here. She said everyone was very friendly and only a short wait. With all of her family far away....its good she could get some medicine fast and she will be feeling better soon.

I was seen quickly by an extremely kind staff. Everyone from the person who checked me in to the doctor that oversaw my care were nice and knowledgeable.

I love this place. I had surgery in another city and moved here afterwards. I experienced some issues and my surgeon had to reopen a small area. The physicians at this facility welcomed me with open arms to assist me with wound care and have continued to care for me between visits with my surgeon. Everyone is very professional and Ive never had an exceptionally long wait.

I got turned away by the male crossed eye nurse as soon as i was in triage telling him what happened. He never gave me a chance to explain before he ran off to the doctors asking them if they were Sure they wanted to treat me. I was so shocked. When i asked him why i wasnt being seen, he said this is a private practice and we dont have to. I have NEVER met a medical professional so rude and obnoxious. I will never go back! They had to give me a refund. Also beware of being charged for unnecessary test. My 18 yr old son went there and got charged for every test they could do. You are charged accordingly. They took advantage of his age and insurance. And lastly the ppl at the front desk could smile and not be so cold. If you dont like your job and cant be courteous, get another one!

Triage was a 20 minute wait. Plus another 20 in the waiting room, 15 in the exam room, 5 minutes with the doctor and I was out.Very polite staff.

For a walk in office they are pretty quick. Great doctor took the time I needed.

I saw Dr. Zeigelman and he was very kind and attentive. The nurse that helped me before I saw him was amazing as well. The woman that came and talked to me about my care instructions and helped me checkout was super nice too. I also have seen Dr. Griffin and my experience with her was also great. I wish all my doctor visits went this well with other Drs!

I visited this center on the 14th of May and I must say I dont like going to doctors an I especially dont like hospitals but the pain that I was enduring was so severe that I had to go somewhere. The first place I went as soon as I was about to check in they stopped see patients. Needless to say my husband suggested the ER and I really didnt want to go there so I found this place on google and the staff from the front to the back were so kind and caring about me and the other patients that were there. These doctors and nurses go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that whatever our need was that it was met. From wishing me a Happy Mothers Day to expressing concerns that they hoped I would be feeling better real soon. PEUCC your professionalism and bed side manor was greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping me in my time of need. If I had to go to the doctors again, I dont mind the hours drive because you made this experience bearable and I Thank God you helped me during my time of need. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Tired of sitting in the room listening to Drs chit chatting and not taking care of people. Ive been here for almost 2 hours now. There was no one in the waiting area when I got here. These people couldnt care less how your feeling. When I asked how much longer it would be I was told they would get to me when they get to me. This place is awful.

They turned me away...Im very sick. They said they had a Lot of patients. 5pm was closing time. I arrived 4:30. They closed the doors as soon as I drove up. I asked them if I could be seen...They turned me away

Worst encounter I’ve ever experienced in any medical establishment. Management must be terrible because staff is super slow. As many people there are in medical school that graduate every year you would think this place would have a full staff to work. The $40 copay is not worth the wait.

The facility was very busy today. I am a very patient person. However I waited 4 hours before being called back to a room. Then spent another 30mins waiting for a practitioner. She spent 3 minutes examining me then left the room saying “I’ll be back when I can figure out what I can do for you.” The PA did not return. Instead a nurse came in 10mins later and read directly from a sheet recommendations for care and that prescriptions had been faxed. I had to ask whether or not my tests came back positive or negative. I had to ask if I’d been diagnosed with anything. And only then did the nurse offer to get the PA to repeat what she’s already said. I left with two prescriptions for an illness that I don’t know what it is and that they wouldn’t classify. “Well a cold is such a general term. You clearly have something so we’re giving you a prescription.” I have never had such a terrible experience at an urgent care. I hate that Physicians East will now be on the bottom of my list. Such a shame.

Id love to give 5 stars for the Drs and nurses on staff at this location but the office staff has consistently made visiting this facility unpleasant to say the least. Unfortunately, I do not work in the healthcare industry and am seemingly ignorant when it comes to understanding prescriptions that are written that are not always covered by my health insurance. When I spent a very frustrating hour at my pharmacy today on the phone with my insurance company trying to figure out why a certain prescription was not covered by my insurance, I decided to return to your facility to ask for an alternative. The response from one of your office staff was disrespectful and insulting at best. Why didnt I just pay for it? Well maam, I work hard for the little bit of money I earn and spend a lot on the healthcare coverage I have so I didnt really think coming out of pocket an extra $30 without asking questions first was a wise thing to do. Perhaps she makes a lot more than I do and instead of asking about prescriptions I think next time (if there is one) IlI just ask for a job application.Think before you speak, especially to sick people who do not work in health care and are paying you for your expertise. It took all I had in my sick little body to bite my tongue and walk away.Sadly, youre the same person who in the last year or two wanted to rake me over the coals over a health insurance card that no one had ever insisted on having a copy of until I came across your pleasant little desk. I dont know what youre so bitter about, but I can take my health insurance and little bank account somewhere else. Lighten up!

All staff here are friendly and professional. They easily speak with patients on a casual level, putting patients at ease.

Kevin Johnson-PAC last seen my husband on 01/09/18 remain to keep him out of work and was referred him to pain management for injections and has been getting injections started February 14,2018. My husbands works comp case manager nurse Stephane email Kevin Johnson for a update on going back to work. So instead of Kevin sending her the letter he wrote on 01/09/18 stating that he’s out of work. He sign a letter on March 1 or 2 2018 electronically putting him back to work full time with no restrictions. And when my husband went to the office on either March 1 or 2 2018 Kevin Johnson told my husband that he can no longer see him because he’s no longer under his care. He’s no longer under Kevin Johnson care since 01/09/18 but Kevin Johnson electronically signed a letter to the case manger for workers comp stating he’s to go back to work without any restrictions. Now why in the world did Kevin sign a letter saying it’s ok to go back to work and my husband is no longer under his care since 01/09/18 and he has been seeing pain management and a spine specialist. Kevin has disrupted my home financially because they have stop my husband checks based on what Kevin sign. Our attorney sent a copy of the letter that Kevin sign electronically to us that came from workers comp nurse manager Stephanie in IA. But when speaking with someone in the office they see the letter that he wrote on 01/09/18. Kevin failed to put a copy of the letter intentionally not in his file. I myself has been going to Physian east urgent care for a long time. And I would have never thought that urgent care has shaddy unethical PACS and his Residing DR allowed this to happen. KEVIN SHOULD HAVE TOLD STEPHANIE THE SAME THING HE TOLD MY HUSBAND. THAT HES NO LONGER UNDER HIS CARE AND HE RELEASED HIM 01/09/18. AND HES NOW UNDER THE CARE OF PAIN MANAGEMENT. SO WHILE NOT BEING UNDER KEVIN CARE HE GAVE THEM PERMISSION SAYING ITS OK TO WORK AND HE HAVE NOT SEEN HIM SINCE JANUARY. I WILL BE FILING A MEDICAL COMPLAINT WITH NORTH CAROLINA MEDICAL BOARD AGAINST KEVIN AND HIS OVERSEEER DOCTOR SINCE KEVIN IS A PAC. SO AM GOING TO ASSUME LIKE HE DID THAT THE DOCTOR APPROVED THIS SCANDALLESS AGAINST MY HUSBAND. THIS IS WRONG BEHAVIOR AND UNETHICAL TO HAVE HIS WORK COMP CHECKS STOP. AND NOW WE HAVE TO GO THRU ALL THIS HOOPS BECAUSE MY HUSBAND BACK IS STILL OUT OF WACK AND HE CANT WORK. KEVIN SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED PAIN MANAGEMENT TO MAKE THIS DECISION.

Waited 4 hours to be seen, even took a nap in the back room. Vomited once while I was there and still didn’t get any antibiotics or medicine for my sore throat and swollen tonsil. No since of urgency in this place.

I went in to see Dr. Ziegelmann last Saturday. I had a horrible stomach virus and was greatly dehydrated. I asked him if he would give me fluids. He said clinically he did not believe I need fluids. I had protein in my urine and had lost 6 pounds with the sickness. He told me to come back the next day if I was still sick. Also, they called in the nausea medication to a pharmacy that had closed so I went home with no meds. Returned on Sunday and a really great nurse gave me 1.5 liters of fluids. She was a true Godsend. My advice,save the high co pay and spend it somewhere that really has better doctors.

I cant speak to the quality of care this place provides - they chose not to give me the chance. My wife was feeling ill and we arrived 5 minutes before closing on a Sunday. They were locking the door. She talked her way in and then they sent her away because she is a new patient and it would take too long to fill out paperwork. They said to go to the hospital. Nothing on the door or website said you must arrive early if you want to be seen. Ive had auto mechanics stay late when they knew I needed my car the next morning.

I didnt have to wait long, everyone was friendly. Doctor seemed very knowledgeable . Not a bad experience

This place has very unprofesional nurses and drs. I had a 3hr wait in the waiting room then another hour and half in the room before we saw a doctor. Nasty nurse in triage. Questionable dr. I left in more pain and felt humiliated when i left. Go to er or anywhere else but here. Hate to say it but when I take my cats to the vet they are treated nicer and more humane than this place. I gave them one star because there was one nice nurse in the whole building. She gave me a tetanus shot and was so gentle I didnt even feel it.

I have never in my life waited so long at a doctors office before not only to be seen but then once they put you in a room its over another hour wait to be seen. I get that it goes based on priority of who is sick but then dont put me in a room to be seen by a doctor and have me sitting here over an hour and not be seen by anyone.

Always have a great experience! Its my preferred urgent care to visit.

Both my daughter and I needed to visit the Physicians East UCC last Sunday 9/20. We waited less than ten minutes to have our intake vitals (complaint/temp/weight/BP) done, then less than 15 minutes to get seen by a doctor. Very experienced doctors and PAs at this location.

I Waited an hour an a half in the waiting room, then 45 minutes in the room to be seen, then i waited another 30 minutes after i was seen before the doctor came back in to finish me up and get me on the way out the door. The doctor was great, but the wait time was unreal.

I went to the Urgent Care center on a Wed. with severe neck spasms. (After not being able to get into my primary provider) I was unable to move my head at all. After waiting for approx 2 hours in the waiting room (it is an walk in place so I wasnt surprised by that, all thought there were only 4 other people there). The practitioner did a nice exam and wrote me out some scripts (that were less potent that the ones I had been taking). I go home, over the next couple of hours after taking my new meds the pain has continued to INCREASE. So I call the office to see if they can help me out. I am told a nurse would call be back. Two hours later when I still hadnt heard from anyone, I call again. The receptionist tells me it can take up to 24 hours for someone to respond. WTH? Anyway, a nurse did call be back at 6:30 and informed me that the providers were only there for another 15 min, so she doubted I would hear from them, but they would call me first thing in the morning. My husband came home found me swearing profusely and in practically tears and took me to the ED. My entire goal was to avoid the ED. At least the ED diminished my pain to the point I didnt want to cry anymore and was able to slightly move my head. Oh, and that provider phone call from Urgent Care never happened.I hope if you choose to go ther you have a much better experience than I did. It also cost me quite a bit of money as I had to pay the Urgent Care, and am looking forward to the ED bill.

The staff was pleasant, but the wait was very long, around 2.5-3 hours.

Office was clean, staff was friendly. The PA listened and didnt rush us out. The only down side was it seemed like we waited in the patient room for 30 + minutes before the PA came in. Our total time for the visit was 2.5 hours. Mind you- new patient, blood work & chest X-ray. We Got most of the results before we left.

Anytime I come I just call first to see how busy they are. I have not waited long because of this. Friendly staff!

Google and the writing on the door says the place opens at 9 am on Saturday. Found out the hard way that they open at least 15 minutes earlier than stated.

Ive had to go several times and most were run of the mill visits but this last time I was disgusted by their practices and lies

Not to happy with my first experience here. Waited in the lobby for over an hour. Finally got called back for them to spend 5 minutes with me and to test me for flu for them to then tell me it would take approximately 2 hours.
