I had to take my coworker to be seen by a health care provider after being bitten by a stray dog. We didnt want to go to the emergency room (for obvious reasons) and opted instead to seek treatment at an urgent care facility. We discovered that Doctors Care was near our work and decided to try it out. Neither one of us had very high expectations going to a Doc in a Box. From the moment we were greeted by Candis and April at the front desk we knew we had made the right decision. Candis and April made us feel like we were the only ones there and patiently answered all of our questions/concerns. They guided us quickly and efficiently through the admissions process and our wait time to be seen by a Dr. was minimal, which was shocking. The exceptional service did not end there. Once we were in a room our nurse Aquarius, came in and took vitals. She was so personable and easy to talk to. Her gentle demeanor helped alleviate the stress of a very stressful situation. Dr. Nazish Zakaib was the health care provider who treated my coworkers arm and evaluated her injuries. She was by far the most easy going Dr. I have ever encountered. She was knowledgeable and easy to talk too, which is hard to find with many of todays young health care providers. We were in and out in under an hour and despite the quick turn around we did not feel that we were being rushed. All of our questions/concerns were addressed thoroughly prior to my coworker being discharged. This experience has forever changed my view of Doctors Care and will be my first option for my family and me, if and when, the situation arises. This location is a piece of healthcare Heaven. I highly recommend this facility!!!!

Went in for a post accident screening. They were efficient, thorough, and knowledgeable. A couple small issues came up during my visit and they quickly resolved them. All the staff members I interacted with were friendly and considerate. Definitely a top 3 in my Urgent Care experiences. Thank you Ladies, you are definitely superheroes.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I brought my HUSBAND in to get his burns looked at because the ER is too expensive and she told me no visitors. Im not a visitor, Im his wife. Ive been the one taking care of his burns and can accurately tell the doctors EVERYTHING Ive been doing to help. We BOTH had masks on. But any germs I have, HE would have also. This is all ridiculous. If masks and social distancing worked, there is no reason I shouldnt be allowed to be in there with him at a DOCTORS OFFICE. Its not a hospital. And not to mention, she was a little rude about it.

Most of the practitioners are really nice and thorough but there are a couple i have came across that were just plain mean. Still alot better than the ER wait times though.

I would like to thank this office so much for their persistence in getting my ears flushed out! The doctor & especially the nurse that I had went above and beyond to make sure that I left out of that office free of wax! Even with my wax being hard & “stubborn” she still didn’t give up on me and I appreciate that more than ever because now I can hear again 😊

I went here based off of my google search. It was Amazing!!! The doctor and staff were very courteous, professional and informative. I dont have insurance so the out of pocket expense was worth it and reasonable. I would recommend going here.

No matter how you sign in whether it be online or a walk in your going to have to wait and I have tried both times and been waiting for over an hour in their waiting room. It would be in your best interest to just make a little drive and go to another doctors care. They have no sense of urgency like they should have being in the healthcare field.

I highly recommend Doctors Care if you are in need of medical care such as referral to specialist or simple medical assistance. Staff was very kind and helpful.

The staff here is so great. I use them as my primary physicians. They are always so kind and thoughtful. They pay attention to detail and genuinely care about my health. This place is so wonderful! All the staff treat you like they would treat their family, they listen to you, and the doctor there is WONDERFUL. They had issues at the pharmacy and every time I had to call Doctors Care to ask for help, they simply made it easy for the issues to be resolved. I am definitely going to choose this location EVERYTIME I have a non-emergency medical need and rate this place 5 out of 5 stars! Wish I could rate you guys even higher!

This has been the best medical attention I have had in awhile! The front desk was so pleasant. Every nurse has been so friendly, patient and very personal, not acting like they want to hurry up and get you out. The doctor is the same way. She really took the time to ask questions and because she did, I feel awesome about the plan she put in place. So refreshing to have true customer service!!!!!!

How does a medical facility have 2.7 rating and still open for business? We had a 10:30 appt for my sons sport physical. Got there no one was in the lobby so I figured great this will be fast. 2 hrs past and my son still wasnt seen and we had an appointment. Nurse came and said there was only one doctor on site and she was handling 2 trauma patients. Trauma is for 911 emergency room situations not local urgent cares. Why didnt they inform us prior to our appointment or after arriving? 2 hours of waiting and nothing. Got the charges credited back and went to another provider and was in and out in 20 minutes and the cost was less. I do not recommend this facility. No customer service ,communication, or professionalism. If there was a zero star rating that is what I would give.

What does it take to get a prescription refilled?Had my pharmacy try to contact the physician/physicians assistant for a non-antibiotic/non-controlled substance prescription refill. Several days and a weekend with no refill approved. Been going there for some 8-10 years for emergency care. May need to go elsewhere for emergency care.

I love this place and have been coming here for years. Im so glad theyre here because it keeps me from having to wait weeks to be seen by my internist, and it gives big hospital systems some healthy competition. They always call in my prescriptions for me to my pharmacy. Go easy on them whenever there is a wait, everyone is trying to do their best. A couple of years ago, they celebrated me as their very first flu patient of the season because they particularly enjoy getting to take care of those patients. I always check in online and bring something to do. At this moment, I am lying on an examination table with a warm, disposable blanket they have provided,, as there is one patient in line ahead of me. I pray God blesses you on your journey to keep well.

This is my go-to place for urgent care. The service is prompt, the doctors are knowledgeable and caring. Ive received solutions to all issues that Ive come to them with. Recommend without reservation.

I have been here more than once with my children (after normal business hours when our regular physicians are not open--we have also used the MD 360 for sports injuries and what not because problems dont tend to happen between 9 and 5 PM Monday through Friday). Our experience here has been excellent. Surprisingly, based on its location, there was a very short wait time, and we had excellent and thorough care. The physicians assistant spent a lot of time troubleshooting and trying to get to the root issue, not brushing us off with an easy answer. She really listened and we appreciated the time she took to help remedy the issue.

I went there on a Saturday afternoon and was seen right away. The front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The doctor and all the nurses was very helpful and really great. I used to go to another walk in clinic when I couldnt be seen by my regular doctor but never again. I will go to this office.

Really regret coming here. I was upfront the entire time about needing a shot given, not pills- I cannot take pills. They said that would be fine. When it comes time, Im told Im getting pills but theyre small and can be crushed so Ill be ok. I was given large capsuls that cannot be opened. When called, they said their is not a small pill and hung up on me.May be cheaper than other places but theyre a waste of time and money!

I have attended Doctors care on multiple occasions with my family. The providers there have always treated my children with the utmost respect. Chad Leep MD, Kathleen Mitchell PA-C and Marva Thomas NP and all their staff have always shown compassion, comprehensive care, and a listening ear to our medical needs. I would recommend this medical staff to anyone seeking urgent care or family medicine.

The front staff who welcomed me and got me signed in were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. I was offered a bottle of water when they heard me coughing. They engaged in conversation and didnt just rush me through the process. I am new to the state of South Carolina, and this was a great first experience.

DO NOT GO THERE , Warring Your Health will be at Risk of Getting worst. The physicians at this location lack the ability to properly assess anyone that comes into this location > I think they should be shut down....< find a Physicians that care about what they are doing .

The worst medical place Ive ever visited. If there is no one in the waiting area, you still may have to wait 3 hours to see anyone. They are as unhelpful as possible. I need to pick up x-rays from there to take to a surgeon. When I asked if they could have them ready for me, they told me Id have to come and wait mt turn. When I did go, they told me they could not give them to me, because the x-ray technician was elsewhere that day, and Id have to come back next week. Apparently the technician rotates locations. This is the last place I would ever go if I had any choice.

I registered online. Received a text they were ready for me. I arrived about 10 minutes later. Five minutes later (there was someone standing at the desk) I was completing paperwork. Handed in my paperwork and had only been sitting a few minutes when I was called back. I saw the Dr within 10 minutes. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly, extremely effecient and helpful. I even received a phone call two days later to see how I was responding to the medication for the flu. I would return.

Candis at the front desk was very sweet, helpful, and prompt. However, we arrived at 9:00 (at opening time) with 2 people ahead of us. The first patient had still not been taken back at 9:20. Apparently the doctor hadn’t arrived yet. It’s 9:30 and we are still waiting with someone ahead of us. This is unacceptable. We will not be coming back here.

I read the reviews before I went and thought about going to another one but this was the closest to my house so I went. They took really good care of me from the time I walked in. I ended up finding out I had strep throat and they gave me everything they possibly could for me to get back to normal the quickest! I would definitely recommend them and will go back if I have any future issues !

The worst. Nurse practitioner is rude and condescending (to a child). They are understaffed and cant accommodate anyone and theyve allowed a potential COVID patient to see the doctor instead of turning him away. If you need actual care this is not the place to come

Overall the experience was fine -- if you have never used this facility before a few tips are ALWAYS sign in online prior to coming to the waiting room. You can start this around 7 am M-F and that will save you a ton of aggravation and time. Every visit I have made to this place after the first has been through this service because even if you walked in before someone else if they booked a appointment time online they will be seen first.

Doctor was very helpful and covered all the bases for my situation.

I came in at about 10:00 on a Tuesday morning, with about 4 other people in the waiting room...not what Id call busy. It took 2 hours just to get called back. This place is glacially slow, understaffed, and the employees they do have dont make any effort to even give the appearance of a sense of urgency. The whole time I waited I could hear the employees laughing and cutting up with each other in the back...just having a grand old time. If you value your time, go somewhere else...anywhere else. I promise you they dont value your time or business.

This facility is horrible. The doctor I saw had no compassion. Wanted to shove a prescription in my face and send me out the door to the er. She even asked me why I came there because the hospital couldve helped me more. She refused to give me a referral because I came in on the weekend and she also told me that because I have Medicaid she couldnt give me a referral. Sat there for hours to get no help and the prescription she did give me she sent to the wrong pharmacy. I will never visit a doctors care again. Please dont even waste your time or money to come here.

Wait time for the doctor is bad been waiting in a small cold room for an hour on him to show up. Will never come back again. Nurses are nice and very informative but the doctor seems to drag his feet.

I had a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to my enemy :( I had to wait 3.5 hours to see someone while I was in pain. Right when I thought I was going to see a doctor, I was asked to wait in a storage room full of bio-hazard waste for another 30 minutes. The doctor did not treat me with respect, and ignored the opinion of the previous doctors I have seen for my condition. This place should not even serve are a veterinary clinic!!!When the doctor in doctors dont care disrespected me we got into an argument, I refused further examination and walked out of the clinic. So ... I waited at the waiting room for 3 hours 30 minutes and then waited at bio hazard room with dirty needles for 30 minutes ... At the end I saw the doctor for 10 minutes!!! He insulted me and my previous physicians. Then expected a payment!!!! They have no shame!!! No shame what so ever!!!!Why should I pay for getting insulted and disrespected while I am in excruciating pain???I found out later that they gave my case to Amcol collection agency too !!! I told them what happened but the Thugs Of Doctors Dont Care about you dont care eitherI will fight back as long as it takes !!! You cant bully your patients and then expect a payment!!!

If you go in there the person behind the counter that knows nothing about any of it up there will tell you you have a $20 co-pay and then a month later you’ll get some exorbitant bill in the mail that’s where I am right now I’m not paying it because she told me it was a $20 co-pay after checking with my insurance now they’re trying to charge me $160. They say they’re not gonna change anything and I going to resubmit I say it was an emergency I was just up there because I had a little bit of a cough and a stopped up head from the sinuses you know the seasonal thing in the Carolinas that everybody goes through every year. I will not be returning and I filed a grievance with Blue Cross Blue Shield

Awful. Had to come here for a DOT physical and urinalysis so obviously came ready to be able to provide sample. Takes over an hour for them to even give me my packet to fill out, then when I took it back up I asked if I could please at least provide the urine sample soon as I really had to go since it had already been a long time. I was literally told that someone will call me back when they call me back. Rude and inconsiderate. If you can go somewhere else I recommend doing so.

I went in for flu-like symtoms, they did the test came back negative, ok so I have a cold doctor wanted me to rest, so I work for a company that is on a point system and the only way.I can get by is applying for FMLA, so had paperwork faxed to them and called them to make sure they got it, only for them to tell me that they dont fill out that paperwork good grief, ok so what if I had the flu, Dont waste your time this place is a joke, .poor patient care!, they deserve no star (UPDATE) They sent me home with 1st stage pneumonia, should talk to my lawyer about medical malpractice!

I have always had good service here and had relatively good waiting time considering its walk in. I travel here because its never packed like the ones near my house.

If I could give no stars I would! Went to doctors care today with flu like symptoms, body aches, sore throat amongst other things. The FNP came in with an attitude, she made me feel as if I were overreacting and talked down on me. She did not test me for flu or strep she told me I PROBABLY have a cold and dismissed me. I let her know that I was feeling really bad and she just looked at me. So I ended up in the ER with the FLU and dehydration and was given medication to help. As a nurse, this is one of the worst Urgent Care Facilities I have ever come in contact with. Their service time is poor and their attitudes, literally gave me one. Anna ( drug screening tech), needs some counseling on her approach to clients. Her job is to collect my urine, not tell me that someone should have told me not to bring my pocketbook. Im sure the sarcasm in my voice let her know, I didnt appreciate it and that today was a good day for her to get told off. But no worries....they will never get a second chance, to make a first impression. They failed that test......miserably!

The entire staff is extremely kind and understanding. The doctors actually listen when you speak instead of just waiting to leave and see the next patient.

Get ready to clean out your wallets. I waited 3 hours in their office with a splitting headache. When I finally saw the doctor (which was a 2 min time frame) he said he could do nothing for me. So he sent me to another doctor, which is fine. But those two mins cost me. They couldnt help but are not afraid to send me an almost $200 bill for their work. Asked around to remove it, but manager was no help. Apparently he cant make a decision on that. Place doesnt even deserve one star.

So here I am again with issues with my blood pressure medication. In March 2017 it was like pulling teeth, they wanted me to come in to have a check up before they would give me blood pressure meds. Well they finally gave me blood pressure meds to give me time to come in for a check up. I came in for my check up 4-25-17 and had a check up and they gave me blood pressure medication, thinking it was for another 6 months I would be able to call my medication in to the pharmacy, wrong they only gave it to me for a month and now they want me to come in again before they will give me my blood pressure medication again. I have been going here for the last 5yrs, and know they say their policy is for me to have a family doctor to actually give medications on a regular basis. No one has ever told me that, they change policies like they change doctors here!!!! I will not be going back.

I was just there back in November to get my prescription refilled for antidepressant the doctor was suppose to refill it for me. I finally needed to get it filled went to the drug store to get it, the pharmacy told me it wasn’t called in. So I call there office to tell them the doctor I saw didn’t send it in. The lady I talked to said she would email him but he won’t be back for a week. So I said to her I can’t go a week without it. She said I could come back in and see another doctor. Now... with all that said last time I was there it cost me 300$ now they want me to come back to see someone else that doesn’t know me never seen me before to get this prescription refilled that should of need done in the first place. How is that even right? I can’t spend another 300$ so a doctor says how do you feel? okay here you go. No that is not okay.

If I could give one star I would. The doctor barely looked at me the first time and then I came back a second time and they finally diagnose me. Although at this time I’m on the 9th day of having a fever. The doctor did not tell me what to avoid with this diagnosis and when I tried calling the person who answered was clueless and would not give me the answers I needed. My mom also called trying to figure out what’s going on and they would not help her either. The doctor did not prescribe the right medicene as I had to the doctor for the 4th time and they were shocked at how this place took the diagnosis and ended up giving me an antibiotic shock and changing the medicene completely.

Im currently in the process of being deployed so i was sent to this location to do my medical exam. Everything was fine up until last week. All my paperwork is finished. However my iron was low so i just need a paper stating i was prescribed iron pills and everything was fine. I told the doctor it was needed asap. He assured me it would be done. So i went this morning to check and see if it was done but they said the doctor wasnt in yet. I called back earlier they said it was faxed but my recruiter said they havent recieved it. I called doctors care Again and asked if i could come get the paper and fax it myself and she said sure. So i drove all the way back to doctors care to get the letter and the lady said he hasnt even looked at it. I AM HIGHLY UPSET

Need medical papers faxed? Good luck with that. While I normally love this place, as the staff is always very courteous and friendly, I have to give it a bad review. I have been promised every day since April 28th until May 6 that they would fax my medical records to UNUM for my short term disability claim. The doctor or staff keeps losing and then forgetting my paperwork. My work wants answers and my insurance really wants answers. How hard is it to have a doctor sign a paper? This should have been done by April 29th, at the latest... yet here we are on May 6 and they are still promising Today for sure that they will be faxing my records over. Normally, I would give you the highest rating possible, as I love your staff. But, through your forgetfulness and lack of urgency, it has really cost you. The lack of urgency they have shown has now made me late on payments as I cannot get my short term disability checks until they fax my records over. I am not sure I will ever be back and I will warn people that ask me about your establishment. Normally this a good to great place to go... just hope you do not need records faxed over to anyone that require a doctors signature.

I have visited this Doctors Care center on several occasions and found the staff to be caring, prompt, genuine....unlike a recent poster here, Edmond Dantes - who is actually a fictional character from Alexander Dumas famous novel, the Count of Monte Cristo.

Came for drug test and DOT physical for my job. Drove from Charlotte. After 30 mins in waiting room, desk informed me there may not be anyone to do the physical (said let me see what time she leaves). Came back and said, yeah theres no one here to do it (translation: whoever was qualified to do it was about to leave and didnt want to stay to serve a customer who drive 2 hours to be there. Resulted in my having to go to another location the next day, on my time and my dime.Then came the drug test. Did the drug test and came out to wash my hands. Someone elses urine sample was on the counter by the sink - uncovered!

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE... SERVICE THAT ABSOLUTELY LACKS ANY HUMAN DECENCY OR BED SIDE MANNER. IN CASE YOU MISSED THE MESSAGE IN THIS REVIEW. THIS LOCATION AND MEDICAL PRACTICE IN MY OPINION ARE SHAMEFUL!

Worst attitudes ever. And if you are a workers comp case they treat you even worse. Wait time over 3+ hrs and they dont even bother telling you it is going to be so long.

This is a honest review. I live in greenville moved here 8 months ago.. needed to see someone quick aand went to urgent care. Came in on a Monday at 11 am. Very quick service was in there in 10 minutes.... Extremely friendly and amazing and knowledgable doctor.. Doctor Pem... is the best doctor EVER... the radiology people are so wonderful. Got in there and 3 days later the office called to see how I was doing and if I needed anything.. So nice and I wasnt treated like a piece of cattle..I recommend you to go here if you need Urgent Care... This place is very Good.

Irena was the nurse that gave me my drug test for a management position for my job, and she was the most unprofessional and unqualified nurse. She made me urinate with the door wide open while there were other patientscoming though. She also made me take my test twice because she claimed I did not do enough. She was extremely rude and treated me with absolute disrespect as if I was some junkie off the street when the only reason I was even there taking a drug test is because it is required for promotion which I did get..

Alexis at the front desk is the most rude secretary I have EVER encountered. In my HOUR wait (even with checking-in online) I heard her saying to other coworkers I cant wait to go home about 4-5 times! Not only that but I asked her if she needed proof of insurance (as most places ask for up front) and she threw her hands up and acted as if it was such a burden for me to ask. Definitely needs to keep her frustration to herself, especially when customers are around. It also took her TWO HOURS to tell a man that she wasnt able to verify his insurance. It should not take that long to verify information. Checking in online is a joke. I spent over an our in the office for something that takes MAYBE 5 minutes. I will not be returning and do not recommend anyone to go to this office no matter what your needs are.

Came here for a annual check up , was told it would take 2 days to get paper work back called for 2-3 weeks trying to get results finally get someone to tell me my information . Was told to come in and get a copy of my results if I wanted to quote “ your paper work will be at the desk pick up whenever you would like “ . Sounds like a simple in and out right no I get there then am told to have a sit and wait . It’s really inconvenient to have to come back to the same place 2 or 3 extra times to pick up something that someone says would be ready for you.

I had a so-so experience. I waited a very long time, but that is to be expected. I was very annoyed by the fact that I called a week after my visit to speak to someone about still being in pain and was transferred around the office and finally a nurse took the message for me and said the doctor or nurse would call back, but no one ever did! I went in to check to see if I was a diabetic due to symptoms I was having and the doc diagnosed me with recital dysfunctional. Guess what my insurance doesnt pay. Yep and I called to have the diagnosis change and they say it couldnt be done.

The people/dr. Are very inconsiderate

Doctor looked at my son and literally turned to my wife and said, what do you want me to say? No diagnosis, no prescription for illness or pain, nothing!!! Our family will NEVER go back to this urgent care facility!
