Will give you the runaround trying to just get a prescription refill. First theyll tell you that you can just email and theyll fill it. Then they tell you no, you have to have your prescription service send an electronic request and theyll send it directly to the company. After you do that, then theyll tell you no, you have to schedule an office visit and pay before theyll refill your prescription.Both times Ive been here billing has been an issue. I pay almost $100 per visit because Im self pay, no insurance. I am required to pay before I can even see anyone. Both visits Ive gotten a surprise bill a week later and they want more money? The first time I called the billing department and was able to leave a message. They took the extra charges off when I asked them to provide me an itemized receipt. This time I cant reach billing through their electronic phone system. Like they took that prompt out when you call? They are only open during the time that I am at work, and I cant play phone tag all day when Im supposed to be working.Overall, very disappointed with how things are run, because the NP I saw was very nice. All my issues are with back office

I will say this, I’m not a patient at this facility (thank God) but my girlfriend is, and from what I’ve first hand experienced and heard from her, this place has staff that lack in bed side manners.Words like “inappropriate” should not be used when a patient is confidently coming to you about a situation. I say THAT is inappropriate.I get that this place is a great place for the uninsured and that’s probably one good thing they have going for them, but do not lack in areas because of that.If a patient is in need of something and is communicating to their provider about something, why would you be rude enough to turn them away and not figure out a solution? You want to throw around words like inappropriate instead of coming up with viable solutions to patients problems? How unprofessional.I wish we were in a position to switch providers. We would do it TODAY if we could.

Watch Pharmacy pricing carefully. GoodRX ir even Walmart may be cheaper. Even though you may be on a sliding scale for medical services it might not be true for medications. Doctors are told not to discuss medication prices with clients.

Ive personally never had a negative experience with NHFHS, and Ive been a patient of theirs for about a decade now. The staff is helpful, friendly, kind, clean, thorough, and efficient. And the doctors are some of the best of the best. (I was very sick, but eventually I had a team of nationally recognized doctors coordinating with, and consulting each other regarding my case. That was in May of 2011. I was hanging on by a thread, and its very likely that I wouldnt be here if not for New Horizons.) Anyways, Im sure many find something to complain about, but NHFHS is so good at what they do that the majority of their mistakes were actually the patients fault. Youll never hear that from them though. No person, group, or organization is perfect though, but New Horizons is always trying to improve. Oh, one problem is the time between when you called to schedule, and the time of the actual appointment. Its pretty long most of the time, but its not something they can control when you consider how many patients they serve daily. Its also worth noting that they handle several services in-house, like dental care and the like. And another big perk is the efforts theyll go through to find any financial aid you may qualify for. Ill wrap this up by repeating something I already said: Ive been a patient of NHFHS since 2011 and I have no complaints at all so far.

Its hard to get an appointment here, and the wait times might be long, but overall I havent had any major problems coming here. The facility is kept well cleaned and they are taking their policies for COVID seriously. Almost all the staff Ive come across have been very nice and patient to me. There are people that want to help you in any way possible. Shoutout to Dr. Yeazell for being a great doctor!

Only if I could give this place a 0 star. This place is the rudest and nastiest place ever. Went for a walk in( they told me they were accepting walkins . Located at 975 W faris rd Greenville Sc 29605located at told me I need to get registered through the phone first ( did that) went inside to let them i was registered and rudely said im sorry that we cant take a new patient as a walking, call and get an appt . If youre sick then go to an emergency MD or to hospital to get seen or wait until we have an appointment . The other lady who first told me that I could be been only i have go be registered to the system first looked at the other lady who was talking to me and pretty much said that she never told me that (rolling her eyes). I couldnt believe what I was hearing. thank God my husband pulled me away before i got nasty. I really do not recommend this place at all to anyone. Dont waste your time coming here. Horrible treatment towards people.

I was a regular patient until recently. My most recent visit was awful. Waited almost an hour after my appointment to be called back. And after all of that waiting, ended up having to reschedule again on an appointment Ive been trying to get done for almost a year. Bedside manner could be stepped up quite a bit, for sure!

This bad review was based with the phlebotomists on Wednesday 13 around late morning. I am always a nervous wreck when I get my blood draw. I know being nervous never helps. I started expressing to her about my veins being tiny and they like to roll. I think i struck a nerve with the lady when i told her that i do not want her to dig in my arm. Then she made a comment sometimes you need to dig in a person arm. This hasnt been the first time i have got blood draw here. I have great experience before with others phlebotomists but i will nicely decline her sticking a needle in my arm next time.To make a long story short with where she placed the needle was the wrist of my right arm in the center. The area where when tensing and relaxing something like a nerve or muscle moving. I felt a shock up my arm and immediately got sick to my stomach. For about 6 hours after it wasnt comfort using my right hand.

ON FEB 16, I CALL THE BILLING DEPT AROUND 3:25PM. SHE WORKS IN THE BILLING DEPT AND IS VERY INCOMPETENT, I CALL AND ASK HER TO SPEAK 2 HER SUPERVISOR IVE BEEM TRYING TO GET MY BILL OF A $140 FORGIVEN BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC, SHE PUT ME ON HOLD, SHE CAME BACK TO THE LINE, HER SUPERVISOR SENT A MASSAGE THROUGH HER SO I STOP HER IN HER TRACKS, I STATED 2 THIS INCOMPETENT GIRL DONT GIVE ME NO MESSAES AND SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE THIS IS THE SECOND TIME SHE HAS DONE THIS SO IM ABOUT 2 ASCALATE THIS.

Worst doctors I had in my life and Im 58 yrs old. 4 visits was enough. And Dr Knowles was negligent... doctors need to listen trust that a person knows their body. 3 yrs later and I had confirmed what I told her then was wrong. She didnt take me seriously. Twice. Switched to other location... almost as bad.

Ive been going here for 17 mos, and my provider (St. John) is wonderful! Theyve helped me get my diabetes under control, more than my last provider of 18 years ever did! Highly recommend!

These people dont seem like they really care too much about the patients. We were told to walk in only to be turned away when we got there (20 minutes later), they said no providers, sent us to Minute Clinic at CVS- then couldnt fill prescription but they are on list to send prescriptions to; and left it to me to transfer it back. They need to let other providers know that they dont fill outside prescriptions. Need to let their patients know when walk-ins are not being taken. I am sorry, but they have anWe dont care about you attitude. We been patients there for years😤 cant wait to change.

I wouldn’t recommend this place I’ve been going here for years and it’s always something. If you run out of blood pressure meds it’s crazy even trying to get that refilled or getting anyone on the phone. All but a select few that try and do their jobs effectively.. I can say I have came across a few and they were great.. If you aren’t a busy person or someone that works a lot and the facility is close it may be a good fit for you.. but here your definitely a number instead of the same dr each time etc 🙏🏼🙏🏼 to a better tomorrow

Theres usually a wait to get in here or to be seen but ppl have to be understanding because theyre the only ones who see ppl without insurance and the homeless. So as far as Im concerned theyre doing great work. Theyve always been kind to me.

The greeters and clerical and financial staff are friendly and uplifting. Ive been going for nearly a year and every visit has been positive

My Doctor is amazing and her nurses really take it upon themselves to make sure you are well taken care of they listen to what you have to say and makes me feel very comfortable and when my doctor comes in she does what she does and help me to feel better. New Horizon Facility is on point even the Pharmacy workers are very helpful and make reasonable decisions to help benefit you😊 Id refer anyone looking for good doctors and services.

Horrible service at Faris Road location just now. The website does not mention that they dont take any walk ins after 7pm at all, after I called earlier about getting a tetanus shot and nobody even being able to give me an answer for sure on whether they even offer that service. Then when I walk half an hour over to the Faris Road location, I walk in and stand up front and get ignored by 3 or 4 workers who continue to talk and ignore a patient in need for a good 7 minutes or so. Only to ask me if I had an appointment and then to tell me they stopped taking walk ins at 7 PM, with no offer of scheduling an appointment for later, apologizing or anything else. Absolutely disgraceful service from a place that is supposedly so patient friendly and driven. Your own mission statement says to provide quality, affordable, compassionate patient-centered health care to improve the health of the communities we serve, but this is how people get treated in your offices? I needed a tetanus shot pretty bad and was trying to avoid a costly emergency room visit, you know the thing in your vision statement where you can provide more affordable and convenient care so as to keep emergency room visits down to reasonable levels and improve healthcare for your community? Absolutely horrible.Edit:Went back this morning thinking I could get a walk in for the shot , only to be told they dont consider tetanus an emergency since its just a shot. Its not deadly or anything without the booster right...Even better, the lady at the front desk to the right said they do emergencies but things more like repeated coughs. So coughs are more deadly and dangerous than a literal infection that could cause lockjaw or kill a person? Waste of a building in our community. Once again they didnt even try to offer an appointment when I went in today.

I have very mixed feelings on this place. Sometimes I walk out with a 5 rating and sometimes with a one rating (scale of 1-5). That is why I gave it a 3. I guess you could say no consistency in the level of care.

The worst experience with any doctors office i’ve ever had. I am still trying to get my health concern resolved but every time i call i get forwarded to another department that doesn’t answer the phone and apparently doesn’t return voice mails

One woman that works there is always hateful. She came from Mallard St. She has always had a nasty attitude. She talks to patients so mean. Why she still works there I will never know.

I was diagnosed with a possibility of cancer and instead of making me wait til may to get retested my Dr pushed to get me in with an oncologist and within three days I was scheduled and I go Thursday to get my tests done. This place always answers my calls and they are very sweet when redirecting and scheduling me. They even gave me the number for the dental line because I called the wrong number. I love these drs they have been a life saver for me.

Dr. Long it’s a good doctor had to request for another Dr to see me. When I came in for something that has been bothering me years she didn’t run no test r nun. She told me what she felt and sent me straight out the door. A waste of money for no kind of treatment

Have pharmacy on side and you cant beat the cost of meds and staff is friendly and with an apt Ive never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes til called back to see Doctor, very caring and take the time to give patient, blood work and labs on site and discounted prices that are billed to your account,online patient portal excellent and will send you a detail diagnosis and treatment, follow ups and labs are also send via online patient portal with comlete levels along with doctors advice ,wish Anderson SC had one,highly recommendthis health care facility

I love New horizon because my doctor Mrs. Christina Smith is MY favorite doctor.

The clinic is all nurse practitioners and physicans assistants but they are all very caring and committed to giving their patients quality care and the clinic accepts most insurance, they even have a way to help you apply for financial aid should you qualify for it.

They took great care and listened carefully to me.

Only reason I took my kids there was because of Dr Philpott, she’s caring , knowledge, professional. They told me she’s leaving so my kids would not be going back to that place, horrible news that she’s leaving that doctor office HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

I take both of my elderly parents to see Dr. Li. He is a very good Dr. My father goes to the Coumadin clinic and they are very nice. My mother also goes to the behavioral clinic there and has had a great experience. I have taken them both to have bloodwork done and had only a few minutes wait time. Love this new building. Front desk where you check in is always helpful.

This place is the worst place to bring your children dr philpott is a sweet dr I had no problem with her besides the long wait in lobby and room wait the staff suck here especially the rude girl in the front window when you go to register she has attitude both times with me does not ever have a smile on her face and had me wait 4 hours to get my sick son in one time. So anyways today I came in to ask for a copy of my child’s immunization record I did not know the policy to receive a print out of a immunization record takes 3 days and I’m moving out of town she would not even try to be nice about it. She gave me attitude with a ugly look when I asked about it and was like have u ever asked for a copy before. I told her no. Then she said well it takes 3 days to receive a copy and they will call you. I then had to ask if she could please ask the nurse in back and she said yea but I’m not positive they will even do it for you. She said even with Greenville memorial they do the same. I told her I’m not from around here but where I’m from they don’t ever mind printing out a copy if needed In the end I got my immunization record for my baby but dang she is the worst and looks very unhappy. And always gives me a hard time. Every time I been in. Never again.

I normally have a good experience, but this last visit was awful. Dr Hong Vo, the doctor that saw me needs more practice on her bedside manner. To be working with the plublic one shouldnt be so cold, dont want to see her again but all other staff was ok
