Please DO NOT go here unless you need a basic routine health checkup for some some reason. If you or a loved one has a diagnosis that needs treatment, PLEASE seek a specialist! Dr. Philpot is NOT qualified to treat those with dementia or mental health diagnosis’s, yet she we treat the patient without the expertise needed. She also has no concern for the caregiver and how it impacts their life. A qualified Physician will refer you to a specialist, but she did not. I’m so glad that I finally found the proper resource, no thanks to this Doc in a box

Dr. Florida is so disorganized on getting my medication right …..and didn’t tell me or explain why he was increasing and decreasing dosages of other prescriptions I like to know when I’m picking up at the drugstore not go up there and find out that he has either cut back my dosage or put my dosage or put me on another kind of pill my cholesterol is good but they keep wanting me to take two kinds of cholesterol medicine I’ve had to go up there and try to get things straight that way I have to pay another appointment to talk to him again …… who either doesn’t listen or he have a problem comprehending what I was saying to him

I have been seeing Dr. Philpot for over 17 years at this office. She is an amazing doctor who is not only concerned about your health but is also concerned about you as a person. If she doesnt know for sure about an issue you have she is quick to refer you to someone. I am thankful for her caring and professionalism.

Dr Florida at physicians east on Firetower Road in Greenville, NC. Is definitely the best primary doctor i have ever had. He was very concerned, great personality , knowledgeable, treated meWith respect......not just a number, etc. I highly recommend Dr.Floria

Dr. Philpot is horrendous. My wife had the worst experience of her entire life while visiting this quack.Like any profession, there is a continuum between those at the top and those at the bottom. She’s keeping company with The Worst. You’ve been warned.

Serious issues. Do yourself a favor and find another medical facility.There are a few decent folks in here so you may get lucky, not likely.

On 6/10/20 my Pharmacy contacted them about one of the medicines that I take and told them that I needed a prescription for one of my medications but to change it from a capsule to a tablet because that medication is on back order. They never called it in so today 6/11/20 I called ECU Physicians and told them what I needed & the girl said she would tell the nurse. Well I called my Pharmacy and they told me ECU Physicians didnt call. Now I am completely out of that medication and they didnt call them. ECU Physicians on firetower Rd have been my Drs for twenty five years.

The people at the front desk are rude and apparently hate their jobs!

Wonderful primary doctors, as well as staff. If theres one thing Id suggest, it would be to take notice of the article hanging on the wall about doctors and patients. I feel that all of the doctors here, practice by the method written about in that article.

Although it’s not fair to my Nurse Practioner (Tiffany Langston) who is awesome, the staff at this place is way below par. Suffering from a broken ankle, I tried to call in to get my pain medications refilled. I was told the message would get to my Nurse Practicioner. No Response. Called 3 times the day before I would run out. Then called the next day and stated I would run out by mid day and the clerk named Valerie said that Tiffany has my messages and that she will respond when she gets a chance and said “Good Day” and hung up on me.My wife and I received no response by 4:30 and headed towards the office before they closed at 5pm. When we got there Tiffany reported that she just received the messages 5 minutes before we arrived. Sorry, I don’t like being lied to. The staff are short tempered and very unprofessional. Read the reviews and you will see that training needs to be done here. If it wasn’t for Tiffany we would go elsewhere.

Was on phone call for like 20 minutes. A lady told me everyone was at lunch and to call back in 7 minutes. In the middle of my second question she hung up on me. Firstly what medical center doesnt have on call staff that cycle their lunch schedules and then hang up on someone? Id rather not get pyche treatment than use a company unprofessional. Probably just want insurance money anyways.

Ive been going to this practice since I was a kid. Its very family oriented and most of the providers go over and beyond to find a solution to your health concerns.

Maybe a Google review is the only way for someone in management to actually care. Tiffany Langston & Celeste Jackson are currently there and I truly appreciate their hard work. I really miss Steven Boyd because he would literally bring you a print of what he found and explain what its normally supposed to look like. Recently I have been having awful experiences with Marissa Kleffman Underwood. I dont know if shes at the point in the field where she doesnt care anymore, but she has absolutely no bedside manner. She talks as if she is assuming the absolute worst of you when you come in to see her. For example, if someone came in diagnosed with HIV, Im afraid she would immediately assume youre a needle junkie rather than someone whos partner transferred them the virus from their infidelity. Unfortunately, if shes available I will accept the appointment but this is another complaint i have towards her and I can guarantee this is not going to change.

Tiffany Langston is absolutely the greatest and all the staff are very cheerful and extremely helpful.

It is always a pain to to get in and out of my appointments. I will show up ten minutes early but still go in ten minutes after my scheduled time. My biggest gripe is getting my prescriptions refilled. Since its a controlled substance, the pharmacy can not order the refill. ECU Physicians on Firetower Road are such a pain to deal with every time that I rather not take my medication.
