Dr. Maggie Robertson is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She was patient and thorough, and she followed up with me after my visit via email with even more resources for me to consider. I have never had another doctor do this. I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and the extra time she took to help me. The staff was also very nice. All around a great place.

This is the best place ever to get a hearing test! From the first phone call to schedule my appointment to meeting the staff and having the test done, it was an absolutely great experience. After having the test, the physician was very kind and helped me through all of the results and showed amazing compassion while giving me the news that I needed hearing aids. I have not seen this much care and compassion in a very long time and they are truly the best! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a hearing test.

I had been putting off having my hearing tested for years. I finally decided to go to Davis Audiology and was very pleased with the entire experience. Dr. Robertson was very friendly and answered all questions in understandable terms. She provided me with several options and discussed a future care plan. I have since made my 90-year-old father an appointment. I would definitely recommend Davis Audiology.

The exam was comprehensive, the explanations were understandable. the Doctor appeared in NO hurry to get through everything. I was very satisfied and would recommend the practice to everyone.NOTE: I went into the exam with the attitude of not wanting a hearing aid. After I was explained the consequences on not get an aid if I needed one, I placed an order for both ears.

Dr. Jessica Mansur was professional yet personable. She was thorough without rushing through the process. She didnt try to sell me anything, just let me know my options. I decided to try hearing aids on a trial basis and she even set up my cell phone to interact with them. Great service and hardly any wait time! I highly recommend Davis Audiology!!!

Have had hearing aids since 2013, and when my set didn’t work well, I went to Davis Audiology,in Greenville. Maggie was my audiologist, and she was phenomenal as far as finding the besthearing aids, and running test to make right settings.It’s so good to hear clearly, and not asking folks to repeat themselves.If you need hearing aids, this is the place, if you live in the upstate.

She helped me understand my hearing loss issues and what I needed to do and how hearing devices could and would help me. Then we worked on what device was best for me. I’ve been purchasing chargeable batteries for my 90 year old mother’s hearing aids through Davis Audiology for a few years. The staff has always been friendly, professional and helpful.Recently, my mom required new hearing aids. Dr. Robertson was extremely thorough and patient with her during the hearing test and selected the model that would give her the best possible hearing results. Unfortunately, my mom wasn’t able to master the new hearing aids partially due to diminishing dexterity and partially because of her aversion to change. Upon contacting Dr. Robertson, she was understanding and sympathetic to the situation. She immediately make time to have my mom return to the office to remedy the issue by refitting her for a new set of hearing aids (which arrived promptly). Now my mom is wearing her new hearing aids every day with absolutely no problems.Working with Dr. Robertson and her staff has been such a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them! It gives me such peace of mind to know they care and want the best for their patients.

I saw two different doctors at Davis Audiology and both were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. On my initial visit my hearing test results were thoroughly explained to me and the audiologist went over the results with me, explaining my type of hearing loss. I was impressed with how she helped me to make the right choice in purchasing hearing devices based on my particular needs. I was also pleasantly surprised with Davis policy of allowing me to wear trial hearing aids for a test period before making my final decision. Scheduling was a breeze, and the office was willing to communicate by text and email instead of phone call. With my particular set of hearing issues, that was quite helpful. I could do the intake paperwork online, and was supplied with copies of everything I had to sign at the office itself. The audiologist I worked with listened carefully, explained what was happening to my hearing, and outlined options in a way I understood. She sent me home to try out a set of hearing aids for improved clarity through background noise. Theyve been fantastic, improving my mood and energy level since I dont have to strain to hear everything, so Im heading back next week to order my own set. I wish Id been able to afford this years ago.

My cousin had given up on being able to hear. A hearing aid dealer sold her aids that were not working for her and would not give a refund. Dr Maggie Robertson restored her hearing, diagnosing her and providing aids that met her level of hearing loss. Dr Robertson is a very compassionate and caring professional, taking the time needed to make adjustments and reassure my cousin. My 90-year-old cousin can hear much better. She now has less fatigue and a sharper mind. In addition, the aids and service of Davis Audiology have cost about half the charge from the dealer.

I have been wearing hearing aids for over 35 years. In that time, I have dealt with many different audiologists and speech pathologists. I have a profound hearing loss and tend to be difficult to fit with hearing aids. I also tend to wear higher end hearing aids with more gadgets and settings involved (bluetooth, ect). These types of hearing aids tend to take numerous visits for adjustments to get the settings right.The staff at Davis Audiology is by far the best Ive come across. They are extremely professional, yet friendly and down to earth. The office environment is warm and welcoming.Dr. Davis is top notch. She is dedicated to providing the best service around and it shows when you are in her care. She is thorough and takes the extra steps to make sure you are fitted with the best aid for your needs.I would highly recommend Davis Audiology to anyone, whether it be for a simple hearing exam, or to be fitted with hearing aids.

I just got back from getting my mother hearing aids. The look on her face when she put the aids in for the first time was delightful. Then when the doctor to one out she was even more amazed. I want to let you know that the experience at Davis Audiologists was first class. So if your paren or loved one is experiencing hearing loss taking them down to have them examined. My mom loves that she can hear and that hearing aids are so small these days. Their almost invisible.

To my surprise, this was a totally positive experience! I brought my father to Davis Audiology for an updated hearing test. I refused to take him to the place where he bought his last two sets of hearing aids because their focus seemed to be on selling him electronic equipment whether he needed it or not. At 87, my father has no interest in learning to use electronic gadgets. He needs help hearing, but he doesnt want to make constant adjustments to his aids, nor does he need any type of streaming, etc. The old place did not listen to us when we tried to make our preferences known.Davis Audiology, Dr. Robertson in particular, was a welcome change to our past experience. She actually listened to what he wanted and what he did NOT want, she asked questions and then listened to the answers, and she shared information with us to help us make the best decision for him based on his needs. This is how healthcare should be - a collaborative effort between doctor and patient as well as the patients family, as in our case. Given the opportunity, I will gladly recommend Davis Audiology to anyone who needs help with their hearing. I found Dr. Robertson to be personable, knowledgeable, and able to communicate the necessary information in a helpful way, a way that we could understand and thereby make decisions.

“Gold Standard” that’s the word to describe Dr. Maggie. My mother was having difficulty understanding things at our church during preachings, spoke loudly and often interrupted on the phone. People misinterpreted this as dementia or early onset Alzheimer’s but it was just a hearing issue correctable by the use of aides. There were many companies and offices that were available to consult and at varying costs but what stood out about Dr. Robertson’s office staff was their genuine kindness and concern for helping my mother. I was most impressed with the whole process from start to finish but really what left me with a feeling of tremendous gratitude is the smile on my mother’s face when she said “I can hear everything”. Dr. Robertson was very detailed in explaining the tests during the actual testing and she was even more detailed in our discussion of long term implications regarding not correcting and correction with hearing aides. Next came the costs and she was not a salesman about it but a consultant, she showed mom all her options and didn’t recommend the highest priced aide but the ones that made sense. Since leaving the office mom and I have had an entirely different type of hearing interaction, crystal clear and defined are our conversations and even family and friends notice the difference but the No. 1 thing is the smile on mom’s face. I wrote this review not only to give credit where credit is due( and most definitely Dr. M Robertson deserves them) but also for those shopping for aides or a Hearing Doctor. We were referred to The ENT but they didn’t have any openings, then we called the other hospital, and last but not least we were told that Davis audiology handled appointments when they weren’t available at the big hospitals. Well, this worked out for us because we weren’t treated like a turnstyle pump and dump patient visit factory but instead we both received excellent treatment, follow up and we added new friends. If you are in a position where you may need to hear better then I can say hands down this is your only option. That’s a bold statement I know! But I’m a medical student with a graduate degree in public health, advocate and activist of all things associated with the elderly and aging population and I witnessed first hand what true great health care delivery and access are supposed to look like. Thank you Dr. Maggie Robertson and Staff for giving my mom back her hearing and increasing her quality of life. Respectfully, IRJ

This is my first set of hearing aids so I am not an expert. However, I own a retail store and I do know a lot about customer service. My experience with Davis Audiology has been nothing but exceptional. The entire office staff is caring and helpful. Dr. Tarvin was very good at educating me as well as finding me the appropriate hearing aids. When you add the warranties and all the extras included in the price of your hearing aids you can not find this level of service and value at any ENT office. This has been a great experience working with compassionate people who understand the emotional side of hearing loss and then being able to hear the world around you again. Thank you.

Update 12/05Changing my review to 5 stars. Dr. Robertson and Leah did a great job making everything work for me. Getting aids to work and fit right takes some time. There are many options. I had a great experience with Dr. Robertson, who tried a variety of options to make things do, feel and fit like they should. My advice is if you think something is not right, let them know, and they will work hard to make it right.Update 11/20: Efforts continue to improve fit and get coil function that connects with loops at Church and theaters. Davis Audiology is making every effort to improve the situation. Dr. Davis and Leah really seem to care. It is nice. Hoping for resolution of remaining issues in the coming weeks.Not a great experience for me. I bought Oticon OPN aids six months ago, which cost $6500.The good things are:1. Leah is very nice at North St. and does her best to help always.2. Lifetime supply of batteries is helpful since they need changed every 4 days.3. The North St. office is convenient and very nice now that construction is finished.4. The hearing aids work.5. The Doctors are nice.The not good things are:1. The hearing aids have never fit right, and after six visits we are still changing wire lengths and domes and applying heat.2. The hearing aids dont work with the systems at the Peace Center or Church because they werent ordered with that feature. I didnt know about the feature until I got the aids and couldnt figure out how to connect to available systems. It seems like aids that cost this much should include the feature.3. A wire failed already, and had to be replaced.4. They send emails about newer, better aids right after you buy yours, giving you doubt on the wisdom of buying when you did.5. The cost of better in-ear technology is $3400 per year on a subscription basis. Overall the costs for hearing devices are excessive.If I had it to do all over again, I would have done more research on fit, costs, and function before buying on a doctors recommendation. In the end I still might have used Davis Audiology because they are really nice folks.
