Dr Gary, Rob the Lab Tech, and the team at GR Family Dental quite literally saved my wedding (and potentially life).I woke up the morning before my wedding with a misplaced “flapper” retainer which meant a missing tooth (see photos). Thank God I found GR Family Dental who was delightful to work with, able to fit me in on a Friday morning, and most importantly able to quickly craft a new flapper and tooth for me.I got so many compliments on my wedding day smile, and most importantly, was not murdered by my beautiful wife.

Since day one, they have been great. No one likes going to the dentist but they make it very easy and as painless as possible. The prices are very fair and everyone is very nice and happy to help. My daughter has been an orthotropic patient of Dr Gibbs for 8 years, and she had her very👏🏻 last 👏🏻appt 👏🏻today👏🏻🎉. Bioblock therapy was an answer to prayer for her. We are very pleased with the outcome. We’ve since signed on two other children under the care of Dr. Steve. They are a wonder family practice. The front office gals, Lydia and Colleen, are always professional and upbeat.

I recently went in for my semi-annual cleaning and check up. Things couldnt have been better. Everyone was so welcoming and professional.I was greeted right away and had a very short wait before being escorted to an exam room. The hygienist was friendly and did an excellent job. When she finished, there was a very short wait until Dr Mancewicz came in to do the final check.I highly recommend GR Family Dental.

This is a great facility with incredible people working there. I was out of town on business and broke a tooth. I called and they made an appointment for me that day; I was in and out, quick and fixed. Super friendly staff and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this office for treatment.

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly from front desk, dental hygienists, to the doctor himself. Appointment was right on time, the cash-based rate was more than reasonable for those who do not have dental insurance. I’ve been to dentists who push a menu of services on me to make more money and here, you will NOT get that. Trustworthy dental care at its best!

I absolutely love this office! My two children and I both come to the office to be seen and we always have a great experience! The appointments are always easy to make or cancel they send texts to confirm or deny appointments. The kids love the treasure chest and I am always impressed at how much they make my children feel special, high fives rings at the front desk and the tone and word choice to make my children feel safe in the chair while receiving dental work. They also have emergency appointments to handle any issues with follow up care. I was once seen by Dr. M Sr (The father and son are both doctors) they day after Thanksgiving for a Dry socket and I am forever grateful for this office!

GR Family Dental is a great place for dentistry in the Grand Rapids area. The staff is very friendly and does a great job! It is a welcoming atmosphere and I love that it is family owned. I took my 93 year old mother to Dr. Stephen Mancewicz to have a bite guard made. Then, after several days, Dr Mancewicz made a mouthpiece (flipper) much better than a bite guard and personally brought it to to the nursing home where my mother resides and fitted it to mom right in her room.Mom loves her mouthpiece which helps control her tongue, helps her in talking and eating.This is service way beyond the call of duty. Thank you Dr. Mancewicz.

My boyfriend just had 1 tooth pulled out today, I sat there and watched as he cried out in pain. He told them several times he could feel the tooth coming out and they “numbed” it twice, once the actually started pulling the teeth out he started yelling because he could feel every single bit of it, and they both told him he couldn’t. Didn’t know a dentist could tell what their patient was feeling? And just I thought about going there, there’s NO way I’m ever going there again. Watching my boyfriend scream and cry in pain and watch it all happen hurt me. And they did nothing. Definitely do NOT recommend.
