Convenient if you want to waste money. The Manager (Sheldon) Deserves better Doctors. I went here 3 weeks ago it was all great. Paid for my glasses out of pocket no Insurance, costed me almost $800 dollars. 2 weeks later I came to pick up my glasses. Little did I know I bought Reading glasses. The doctor did not inform me that I would be prescribed reading glasses. The invoice did not inform me that I would be spending 500+ dollars on reading glasses. I had them do a prescription check. So I scheduled another exam with Dr. Peter. I came in and Dr. Peter didnt even see me. I had my appointment scheduled for 12:30 and I sat there until 2 just for him to inform Sheldon that progressive lens would cost me another 200 dollars. My Experience with Dr Peter was pleasant at first. However my second and third experience I felt rushed and he didnt really answer my questions. He is also very condescending so back to my first point about how Sheldon deserves a better Doctor because he does. He shouldnt have to put up with a condescending doctor. Also Prices are high here so Steer clear of this location. I am simply going to another Doctor next year but I hope Sheldon also does the same. Thank you To Manager Sheldon. 5 stars to you!

Pearle Visions service USED to be very convenient. Now there turn around is horrible I gave them my only pair of glasses 4 days ago and they said it would be 3 days before I got them back....Turns out it is actually gonna be an extra 6 days to swap my new lenses in!!! Absurd I start school in 4 days and Im not gonna be able to read my books without stressing my eyes

EXCELLENT service with great explanation of what I was getting with the options. This is my second pair and I worked with the manager, Sheldon. He was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and knows the industry. Glasses always end up more expensive than I think, but no need to shop around as Sheldon knows the market well. Highly recommend!!!

Came in the other day to browse and get my glasses cleaned. Since were still in a pandemic you would think things would be kept clean.. far from it. My glasses were cleaned with a dirty rag and some of the glasses on display you can visibly see that they are dirty. Honestly weve been in a pandemic for the past year already and cleanliness is a given for all businesses. Wont be coming here again

Side note.. if you provide a Customer a lens cleaner cloth on the house dont let your colleague step in and tell the customer he just cost us 5 bucks...

They were open and honest about my benefits, which another large prominent company was not. I was able to find the exact same frame amd the cost was lower than what I was quoted at the other chain. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and the time the staff took to listen to my concerns. My glasses fit and function exactly like they should.

I’ve had several issues at this place. First, when I arrived for my appointment, they said the doctor left for the night because they didn’t know if I was coming even though I had previously confirmed my appointment. Then, I ordered glasses with my new prescription, and I couldn’t wear them due to being dizzy everytime I put them on. I took them back to the store, and they couldn’t figure out why they were making me dizzy, so they told me I would have to schedule another appointment. I scheduled another appointment, and they called me a few days before and said I couldn’t come in because my insurance only covers 1 appointment per year. I explained that it’s not my fault that the prescription is likely wrong in my glasses. Now I am waiting for my appointment which was at 5, and I am still in the waiting area at 5:33. The customer service is not good here at all.

I have worn glasses for nearly 40 years, and this was by far the best eye exam I’ve ever had! Dr. Andrako honed in on the very clearest prescription, which is awesome! The staff were insanely helpful and pleasant. They found my insurance even though I forgot my card, and I ended up walking outta there with three new pairs of glasses that I am really happy with + contacts. 5 stars for sure!

Came to this Pearle Vision since I’m a college student out of state. I enjoyed coming here for my eye exam. I had a great time with the doctor conducting my eye exam and got prescribed/delivered my contacts fairly fast! Definitely will keep coming here from now on!

The company try to get you to come in with a coupon but say the company has no way of showing it in the itemized receipt. Takes several phone calls for they to find where they applied it. Why wont they put a place on receipt or go over it before you leave the store? 2nd issue: My transition lens dont transition. I caint see it, store tells me you cant see it in the car only in direct sunlight. 3rd issue i had to ask for my prescription was never offered it. Took much work for me, the customer to come here and the company is not cheap. If im going to pay for quality rate i should receive less stressful service. Never ever never ever ever coming back.

The eye doctor him self was terrible. Very impatient, I was rushed due to their scheduling. They just did not care. My vision prescription was off. A few of the staff members were misleading and lacked courtesy this includes the person who makes the glasses. During the whole ordeal I was just not serviced right. Between my insurance and my out of pocket cost I wasted over a thousand dollars for a pair of glasses I can’t wear. I would not advise anyone to do business with them. Our eye sight is precious.

I have my Fathers safety glasses from the 70’s. I want my prescription placed in the frames. I DO NOT USE THEM AS SAFETY GLASSES. The tech here refused to make lenses for me. Unbelievable. Very poor service.

Terrible eye exam, the script was wrong. I ended up with glasses I cannot use and was not given a refund because the manager had to talk to the regional manager who will probably then has to talk to the Pope. I returned the glasses once and asked for them to be corrected, I don’t think they even sent them out they just gave me back the same glasses. Terrible service.

I bought 2 pairs of prescription glasses two years ago. One in particular was a spare pair bifocals for dress I hardly wore them. So a week ago I go to another optical store to get a pair of polarized glasses and I was wearing the spare pair that day. So I was told that my bifocal line wasn’t properly aligned. So I contacted pearl vision to see if they could correct them and know I’m getting the run around. I will never do business with them ever again and I will spread the word about no integrity 😡

I had the worst experience at this Pearle Vision. I was persuaded (misleadingly) by the store manager to purchase the most expense lens called progressive lens (~$500 for the lens only). By the time when I picked it up, I found out that I could not read at all with it and questioned them whether the lens is the correct prescription. Without any examination, the manager told me that it is possible that not everyone is comfortable with the progressive lens and therefore she asked me to try out the bifocal lens. When the bifocal lens arrived, I found out that I still could not read at all. It turned out that the bifocal was a single vision (by mistake). I waited for another week for the bifocal lens. When it arrived, I tried it on, I could read and could see the distance. I ask the manager whether it is possible for me to take a look at the progressive lens to find out why I can see perfectly with the bifocal, but not at all with the progressive lens. The manager had a terrible attitude. She said that was the lens they could offer and nothing else. I reasoned that I indeed paid for the progressive lens. She said that she could not get the progressive lens because it was gone. I said that it was misleading because she asked me to try out the bifocal, not to replace the bifocal with the progressive lens. She said that there is nothing that they can do. I have the choice of either taking me the lens/glass or leaving it behind. I tried to reason that at least we shall try to measure the progressive lens to see whether it is the correct prescription. She said that it would not be possible. Bye-bye!!! It was terrible. I am looking for a lawyer to get my money back.

I went in to see if my glasses could be repaired Nick states no there is nothing that can be done. I left because his tone was very firm and unwelcoming. I called spoke with a helpful associate Jessica who states I have a protection plan and can get my glasses replaced. Nick was very unprofessional and never asked my name or if I even purchased my glasses there. He also stated there was no survey form that I could complete.

One of the eye technicians or Dr.s smelt of whiskey and the Dr. that examined an eye problem I was having didnt seem to know what he was doing. At the beginning of the appointment I was told my insurance would cover most of it and paid my part upfront yet a few weeks later I got a bill for $100 saying my insurance was denied there. When I would call them back they would make up excuses needing to call me back at a later time to discuss this matter and never would.

When I went for my annual eye exam there I was told there was a promotion if you bought glasses and a year supply of glasses. I decided to except the discount and went with the glasses in your supply of contacts. I knew what my insurance would cover and I explain this to them the bill . The bill was prepared for me and itemized. I agreed to the terms of the discounts and made the payment minus what insurance was supposed to pay for the fitting. I paid the amount and it was shown on my receipts when I left. FlashForward two months, theyre saying there is no discount, and there never was. The discount shown on my receipt was insurance. Which doesnt make sense because insurance is shown separately on the receipt as insurance . Now theyre saying I owe them the money that is shown is a discount on my receipt. Theyre saying I am responsible for everything insurance doesnt cover even though I tried to explain to Dawn, a manager that it was not insurance it was discounts as noted on the receipt. The manager said that I am obligated to pay it, if insurance declined the charges regardless of what it was. Do not go here ! leave the headache behind

The young lady who sold me my glasses here was very nice (although she failed to mention they wouldnt be ready for a week until after I paid for them), and I really liked the optometrist who gave me my eye exam. Unfortunately, when I went to pick up my glasses, the guy working there, I think he may have been one of the two eye doctors, went to all kinds of trouble adjusting them, taking them to and from the adjusting machine like seven times. I didnt realize until they started to really hurt my ears a couple days later that he mustve screwed the glasses shape up severely. I went back to get them adjusted again and was told by a different employee thats just how they fit. I went to the Pearle Vision in Oak Creek to have them adjusted to the point of wearability, but the fit was still weird enough that I replaced them as soon as my insurance would pay for a new pair.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dawn (district MGR) has been completely useless in assisting in a refund. On 4/24/2017, I was told glasses would be completed in >5 business days and I would be contacted for p/u. On 5/5/2017 I decided to get a refund (as confirmed by an employee). Dawn later stated this was not something I should have been offered and I am only able to make an exchange for a cheaper pair of frames. When I called corporate customer service, I found out this is a franchise and Pearle Vision is not directly responsible for this location.Hopefully someone is reading this prior to initiating a transaction with this location. Other locations have better reviews if it counts for anything.

The worst experience from an optometry office ever. The doctor changed my prescription to accommodate an astigmatism although I really didnt want him to. He was able to reverse my prescription back to the way I wanted it after a week of back and forth phone calls with the incompetent staff. They never called me to tell me my glasses were ready either. A regular exam for glasses and contacts turned into 5 visits. Will never go back.

Let me give you a timeline of the mess.I got an eye exam back in March of 2016. The doctor told me to try some trials for a newer version of the Biofinity Toric lenses. The trial took a few months to arrive. Around May I put in an order for a years worth of lenses. Its January 2017, and I have still not received them. This is after several attempts asking if they have arrived yet. I have called and visited the location many times, and was told each them that they have been ordered. The management here is a complete mess. I have already sent in a complaint the their corporate offices. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT PEARLE VISION.

Expensive; do not explain costs, eye exam expensive, frames expensive.Actual eye exam very professional.Good customer service and very attentive, especially to try and get you to buy more.My main problem is it worth the money. It cost triple compared to Walmart eye exam and frames. Walmart was simple and straight forward not pushy, not trying to get you to buy more, had cheap frames, and the customer service was good. The frame selection was not as good as Pearle Vision.Some of Pearle Vision frames were over $300.00. OUCH!

I was recently a customer at Pearle Vision in Glendale, WI having spent several thousands of wasted dollars at their store.The reason for 1 star are many at this point.1) Their prices are exorbitantly higher than their competition even with their buy one get one x% off.2) Customer Service is terrible, it was formerly run by a lady named Ann Marie who literally makes it her mission to ensure she collects your money and sends you out the door as fast as possible regardless of how crappy the product you received is with no willingness to make things right.After my pair of glasses broke at a weak point (which apparently were still under warranty) she tried to convince me that I would have to spend hundreds on new frames and the warranty didnt cover what she initially told me). It wasnt until I called the Oakley Factory and make an inquiry did that change.It sounds like the Oakley rep let Ann Marie have it because she resented me from that day forward for being right and getting my glasses fixed as it should have been without a fight or a question.My troubles were not over, since I also purchased a pair of sunglasses with a slight curve in the frame, and they improperly made the lens so that anytime you opened your glasses from the folded position the lens would pop out.This was infuriating and I returned to the store to have them correct the problem at least 20 times. The last time, Ann Marie told me not to return to the store that there was nothing more she could do and we were now nearing the 1 year expiration of warranty. (What a waste of several hundred dollars)3) The reason I am writing this review today is because Patrick Braden (who previously called himself a store manager) called my wife claiming that all of a sudden we owe the store $50 some dollars from an appointment in 2012? This is 2014!!! Furthermore the item on the bill in question shows as being paid by our insurance company and we even emailed them a copy for their records. On the initial call he was trying to get a payment over the phone and was even willing to settle for quick easy money for $25 or so. This wreaks of scam and fraud and I assure you it is.They are not sure why no one has sent us a bill, called us or even let us leave the store without paying, (which I assure you we paid them, because they verified our insurance and figured out every penny we would owe them prior to letting us leave the store with their product) We also paid in full at the time of service and did not opt for any financing or payment plans.When I called there to question Patrick, and see if their accounting mistake could be corrected on his end. He got rather snotty with me and then said he will have to escalate the claim to collections. He also changed his tune and told me that Tony is the manager and he just makes collection calls?So please head my warning and try to eliminate headaches by shopping elsewhere.

Ignored us and walked away all the time and we were interested in buying a pair of ray bans and the guy just stopped talking to us and left to another customer. I do not recommend this Pearle Vision in Glendale. I wish, in hindsight, I had read previous Google reviews about this franchise. Manager and franchise owner were arrogant, condescending, and unprofessional.My lens was broke within two days of purchase and took three weeks of my constant follow up to get them replaced. They were poorly made and I certainly suffered the consequences of patronizing this retailer.Poor. Poor. Poor. Go elsewhere (youve been warned if you come back here after the fact!).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. What a waste of time and money. The receptionist called me 20 minutes before my appointment asking me to come early. Um, thanks for the notice. There were typos on the intake forms, the equipment is very dated, and the guy who was going to try to sell me glasses at the end (no thanks) reeked of booze and had dirt under his nasty untrimmed fingernails. He argued against the website where I wanted to order my glasses (with me standing back to minimize my exposure to his fumes) and then wanted to charge me more than what the person quoted me when Id made the appointment (thank goodness Id written the amount into my Google Calendar notes to show him as proof - I didnt pay one red cent more than what Id been quoted). The optometrist was okay but I dont think I can trust the accuracy of my new prescription given the context of this horrible experience.

Dont walk, run to a different optical place. If I could give it a 0 star I would. I was a loyal customer for years previously having left positive reviews about them but this place is a sinking ship. My latest experience had been atrocious to say the least. The location does not follow up to notify you when your order is in, after finding an error with my lenses I was meet with reasons why this could be my fault or the manufacturers fault and how I could learn to live with them. Protesting for a reorder met me with another opportunity for them to fail to contact me and fail to rectify the situation so after roughly a month with still no glasses I am livid. An in person drop in to the store to inquire more left me with no information about delivery, completetion, delays etc and an employee appalled at how terribly uncoordinated my experience has been. If I ever do get my glasses it will be my last with Pearle Vision.

I cannot emphasize enough what a HORRIBLE experience I had at this store! First and foremost, I worked with the employee named Wendy there on 6/4/16. She had little to no knowledge with regard to eyeglasses and what frame would be most suitable for me. I have a rather complex prescription, and I felt rushed and did not feel that my needs were being met; Wendy failed to answer most of my questions and would always refer me to her co-worker who was also busy with a different group of customers. Furthermore, it took Wendy a very long time to even enter my prescription information into the system; she clearly struggled with software application used at the store and was not trained. On several occasions, I had to double-check every piece of information with her to ensure that I’d be provided the right product. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED Wendy if my lenses would be HD transitionary lenses with AR coating, and she confirmed it. I was NOT given a detailed invoice, but was told that I’d have to pay full amount of 306.96, which I did.I was given a call that my glasses were ready on 6/10/16, and I stopped by the Glendale store that evening. Wendy was unavailable on that day and there was a different person (do not clearly remember his name, but I think it was “Ray”) working. My first surprise was the fact that apparently I was charged for 1-Year Protection Plan and Eyewear Kit a total of $37. I do NOT need either of those things! I have never been explained that those items were included in my invoice! Had I known that I’d be charged for those things, I would have denied it right away. The gentleman working with me refused to refund me for those items, which I found quite rude and inconvenient. Secondly, when I checked my eyeglasses, I immediately discovered that they were NOT transitionary lenses that I SPECIFICALLY ordered earlier! Apparently, Wendy incorrectly entered my order. When I told Ray that I was very unhappy with this level of customer service and additional charges as well as incorrectly made eyeglasses, he told me that they would make it right, but I would have to pay $70 extra for transitionary lenses, because Wendy failed to charge me for them! I told him that it was wrong to charge me even more money when it was CLEARLY their fault and I was already charged for some bogus protection plan and cleaning kit that I did not need. I demanded a full refund and stated that I didn’t need glasses from such a shady and rude establishment as Pearle Vision! This gentleman denied providing a refund on the grounds of the fact that I had ordered “custom-made eyewear”, hence they could not do it. It’s completely outrageous and he was very unprofessional! Moreover, he added that they might be able to provide me with transitionary lenses at no charge, as long as “his boss approves”, since he was “just filling in for someone else” and was unfamiliar with the rules of this location! I CAN TELL YOU FOR CERTAIN THAT PEARLE VISION IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY AND I WOULD NEVER EVER DEAL WITH YOU AGAIN! I have never seen such a negative and snobbish attitude at any eyewear store! I’d be sure to share my terrible experience with every single person I know and on social networks! You are one of the few companies that REFUSES to admit your mistakes and make it right for the customer!
