I have had great experiences with McClure Pediatric Dentistry. The staff and Dr. Jon are super nice and do a great job! One of my sons had a very tough time going to 2 previous dentists, but weve never had a problem with the cleaning, fillings or x-rays at McClure Pediatric Dentistry like we did previously. I have peace of mind that my two children will have a positive experience and great care at McClure Pediatric Dentistry!

Maybe I’m a tiger mom, but the one thing that generally bugs me is when my child is treated like a baby or that they don’t exist. don’t appreciate dentists that don’t ask her about her own teeth. Yes as a parent I can provide more logical feedback but I don’t have her mouth or her teeth only what I notice which may not be fully correct. I’m also not standing behind her when she brushes her teeth. Jon found it awkward that I asked him to ask her where it hurt. Had he done that I would have been more than happy to give my additional opinion. Also when I ask what I can do to diminish her sharp pains, his response was that if it was constant pain to give her Tylenol, sadly that was not the question sharp sudden pain and constant pain is not the same treatment. I came home and asked my neighbors and friends for suggestions and they told me they had similar experiences with McClure dentistry. I’m now baffled that there are so many positive reviews and only one negative. I admit I may not have had the best demeanor but at no time did I raise my voice or say anything harsh, I only asked questions. But no matter what, we were the clients and my child is in pain, and you weren’t able to find the issue nor give suggestions. Other than for us to get a second opinion, which I thank you for and we will.

McClure Pediatric Dentistry has been such an amazing experience for our family. A few months ago, my daughter, age 5, was TERRIFIED of the dentist and unfortunately needed several fillings. As a mom I was very uneasy about her going in for fillings at her previous dentist, especially since her experiences were not good and she cried just from cleanings.We had a friend refer us to McClure Pediatric Dentiatry and had the BEST experience. My daughter was at ease the whole time and they were able to fill all of her cavities in one visit. She actually looks forward to seeing Dr. McClure and can’t wait for her next visit.I HIGHLY recommend going to see Dr. McClure.

I highly recommend McClure Pediatric Dentistry. All of the staff is amazing and super kind! My son was scared of every dentist we took him to and wouldn’t even open his mouth to get his teeth counted, until we came here. Now he is excited to go to the dentist and asks when his next appointment is as we are leaving the office. They put both the patient and parent at ease, explaining the procedures and asking if we have questions. I am so happy we found such an amazing dentist to care for my son. They are perfect for any kid but especially those who are fearful or shy.

Our experience with McClure Pediatric Dentistry was amazing! Dr. Jon was great, and their entire staff made my sometimes timid 4 year old super comfortable and calm. They were very patient with him, and didnt push him to do anything he didnt want to do. He wanted to stand up while getting his teeth cleaned, and they were totally fine with that. They even took time to answer his million questions about their equipment and cool chair. I would 100% recommend them!

Dr. McClure is without a doubt the best doctor to have ever treated my boys. He starts out with a magic trick at their first meeting and each visit, he takes such care to explain things to them and to me. I absolutely love the entire office and am so grateful to have found our forever pediatric dentist office.

Dr. Jon and his staff is amazing, they make it super easy for the children as well as the parents. Our children love going there. Our daughter count the days down on the calendar to her next appointment. In fact, she says she will always go there even as an adult!

This is the best pediatric dentist office, they are so gentle and personable!They really get the parents involved in the oral health of their children, they keep them informed and include them in all the decisions. I really appreciate how sincere and humble this community of providers is in this office. We drive from OK for each cleaning and dental procedure, and it is worth the drive/travel time to have peace of mind to know that your child is being taken care of like she belongs to one of the staff! We will continue to make the commute for as long as my little one needs a pediatric dentist! We love this staff of professionals! They truly care about their patients!

Dr. McClure and his entire staff are nothing short of amazing!! They all take the time to speak with you about your child’s medical history and truly listen to any concerns or questions you might have.My son reacted to nitrous oxide/lost his speech for 3 years from a routine ear tube surgery at the age of 1. His previous pediatric dentist recommended that he needed a lot of treatment under sedation for some cavities on his baby teeth, which for him was a very last resort option.A friend of mine recommended Dr. McClure and he was a miracle worker for us! He took the time to find a way to keep my son’s cavities on his baby teeth arrested without needing anesthesia for 2 years and now they are falling out on their own! He is the most amazing person/dentist and our family will forever be grateful for finding him:)

I LOVE this whole office! We drive an hour to come here for my son. Dr. Jon is extremely patient with him, and you can tell his concern and care are sincere. His takes his time to explain all procedures and treatment, and allows me to be active in what my son receives. I am pro-holistic health. And found Dr. Jon when I was looking for a pediatric dentist that wouldn’t try to force laughing gas and pounds of fluoride on us, like most dentist do! God blessed us to find such an amazing dentist and his exemplary staff!!

We have been going to “Dr. Jon’s” for over 9 years now. The entire office is friendly, courteous, and professional. They all take an interest in their patients, in this case, my children. We came to McClure Pediatric Dentistry for a second opinion because our (then two year old) daughter was being advised to have a root canal.Our son was four at that time and I had to move mountains to get him to the dentist (after two bad experiences with two different offices). The moment we walked into Dr. McClure’s office, everyone felt at ease.Dr. Jon wowed our son with a magic trick and walked off with him holding one hand and his sister the other, as he showed them around his office. Bonus...from that day on...our son never has found the dentist to be an issue!That same day, Dr. McClure looked at both their teeth and concluded that our daughter did not need a root canal. When our son willingly allowed him to also look into his mouth, we knew then that we found a gem!His approach of watch and see and preventative practice, saved our daughter from a tooth pull and root canal.Fast forward to her at eleven, still no root canal, but a fancy expander from a local orthodontist that Dr. Jon referred us to, who we also love. He makes sure his patients are happy and therefore his recommendations outside his field have also been top notch.I highly recommend McClure Pediatric Dentistry, especially if you have had bad experiences elsewhere, to make your entire family feel welcome and at ease.

Dr. McClure and his staff are great with the kids and are really good at what they do. We went to other pediatric dental offices and they were quick to recommend our child be put under anesthesia to repair his teeth. Dr. McClure gave us alternative options and we are so glad that we decided to move forward with them. If you are not in a rush to put your child under anesthesia and are looking for a great and patient dentist, then I would recommend his services. We are blessed to have him and his staff as our two kids dentist. We drive all the way from Fort Worth, Texas for their services if that’s any indication of what we think about McClure Pediatric Dentistry.

We couldn’t be happier with this pediatric dentistry. Our son who’s is 4 years old feels comfortable here which is the most important part to us. They are super clear about how much treatments will cost. There’s no funny business. The staff is friendly and kind and patient and I have a tendency to ask the same question in five different ways and they take the time to answer it in five different ways. Dr McClure also is so kind and patient and he follows up the day of certain treatments to see how my kiddo is doing. My kid has had three different traumas to his mouth and I definitely trust his expertise. The hospitality is above and beyond and I would give them more stars if I could.

We just adore this place! Dr. Jon and staff are AMAZING! Not only are they the sweetest to my kiddos, they make it a place where my kiddos want to go. Who can say that about their dentist!? 🦷 🥰 Did I mention that my sweet boy who is on the spectrum, feels at ease here! When your babies feel like they can trust their dentist and don’t fear it, you’ve found a real treasure! We traveled 3.5 hrs to see them today BC they are that GOOD! Extra conservative approach, amazing attention to detail and an extreme love of all of their patients.

Dr. Jon and his staff are amazing at what they do and I cant say enough great things about this practice! My daughter is very anxious and was so worried about going to the dentist. The staff and atmosphere of the office really put her at ease and everyone has worked so hard to make her feel comfortable. I really appreciate that she was never forced to do anything that she was uncomfortable with. The great thing about the staff here is that they really talk to the kids to let them know what is going on and they work hard to let the kids feel a sense of control in what can be an anxiety provoking situation. We love it there! My daughter had her first appointment at 2, and second just after she turned 3. By her second appointment, she wanted to get in the big girl chair and wasnt scared at all! She feels at home with the staff, which is saying a lot.

Our boys have been visiting Dr. McClure for 4 years and they absolutely love him and his staff. They are very sweet to the kids and help them to feel comfortable around any teeth procedure. We tried 2 dentists before and the boys always cried. When we switched to McClure Dentistry they didn’t cry after their first visit, they left their office with big smiles!

We moved away to the Austin area 3 years ago and tried other offices but none compared to the care we receive at McClure Pediatric Dentistry so we drive 3 hours just to come see Dr. Jon! My daughter came to Dr McClure and his team as a terrified 4-year old who had endured an overly aggressive approach from our previous dentist, resulting in severe dentist anxiety. Dr McClure first charmed her with a magic trick before proceeding to win her over with his soothing, gentle nature. He clearly takes the whole patient into account, and makes effective, calming child psychology a large part of his practice, as does his entire office staff, whom we have come to love and admire over the years. 4 years later, my daughter goes to the dentist without stress, and little brother even LOVES going! I so regret not finding Dr McClure and his office first for our family, but I am incredibly, incredibly thankful to God that we did eventually find them, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible pediatric dental practice.

I cant thank or reccomend Dr. McClure enough for changing the way my family thought about going to the dentist. When I first visited his office it was out of complete frustration and I was simply looking for someone who could help my 6 year old get some cavities filled. We had been seeing another dentist who we loved but with numbing, anesthesia & silly juice just couldnt get the job done. I was very skeptical when he told me about the new methods he could use to get the work done but over the last year the visits turned from tears and frustration to easy as 123. Highly suggest this dentist. He is great with the kids and even does magic tricks. He cares about the kids and the parents too. He is conservative and won’t suggest work just because. Dr. McClure got my girl in same-day to extract a baby tooth that was hiding behind both adjacent teeth AND had the new one coming in in front of it, too! My girl is usually a fraidy-cat about having stuff done, but he and his staff were so great with her that she didnt cry one bit -- and I wasnt even in the room! As he always does with a non-routine visit, Dr. McClure called that evening to check on her. I cant say enough GOOD about Dr. McClure! (Bonus: he and his staff have a devotional and prayer every day before starting work. LOVE that they pray for their patients and each other daily!)

This was my babys first time at the dentist. I was thankful for the kind staff. They were very helpful giving me necessary information on how to care for my little ones first teeth. Found McClure Pediatric Dentistry through wonderful reviews online. And I am so happy that I found them. My son who is 5 years old was told that he would need 8 fillings on his molars and 6 or 7 crowns. I was shocked since I take good care of his teeth and follow the instructions from the dentist. Dr McClure found a way to take care of the situation of my sons teeth and be easier on my pocket too. Couldnt be happier. My son starts his treatment soon and cant wait. The office staff was amazing and taught me so much that I thought I already knew. I wish more dentists had the passion that Dr McClure and his staff obviously have. We took our almost 3 year old twin girls to see Dr. McClure. His staff was friendly, enthusiastic, and patient with the girls. Surprisingly both girls followed their directions and sat in the dentist chair by themselves without need for my husband or me to comfort them. They gave them a good introduction to all of the tools they planned to use before they got started, even down to the gloves. I think that made a huge difference. Dr. McClure has a down-to-earth personality with an easy smile that immediately puts kids at ease. I would highly recommend this dentist. In fact, I told them that I wouldnt give them 5 star only because I couldnt be a patient there! :)

We have been so impressed with Dr. McClure and his staff! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and made my son feel so at ease during his visit. Amazing practice.First-front office staff. Very kind, and took the time to explain and give me a run down of how the practice works. She also gave us pricing that we could check against our insurance to see what cost we could expect.Reminders:We received two appointment reminders prior to the day of service.Ok-cool.On the night before the appointment- I received another call around 6:30pm. I expected it to be just an auto-bot with another reminder....so you can imagine my surprise when it was not only a live person-but Dr. Jon himself!He called to welcome us to his practice, and to ask if we had any questions for him! It took me a minute before I could pick my jaw up off the floor before I could answer him. Great personal service.In the appointment:They took time to read my child to see what would work for her. They let her lead instead of forcing her to submit to doing something she wasnt comfortable with. In so doing this-they got her to participate and get more done than what was expected! (She is on the Spectrum-so we werent sure how the visit would go).Overall-I was so very pleased and have already recommended this practice to two other friends....and our appointment was only this morning.

My kids love Dr Jon. They are 10 and 12 and have been to several other pediatric dentists in their lifetimes. Never liked one until McClure. The office is really nice, staff is great, and the kids were happy. Before their checkup they were taken into a room to receive some instruction on eating and brushing habits. I even learned a few things. Funny thing is my daughter keeps wanting to go back before she needs anything done. Thanks Dr.Jon.

This office REALLY cares about your little ones. They make every effort to make sure YOU know what is going on as the parent, but they also explain everything in kids terms, and make sure you kiddo is comfortable and happy! Dr. John was very friendly, and even did a magic trick with my kids! My 7 year old actually said, That was actually kind of fun! Have you ever heard your kid say this about going to the dentist?! Integrity....Dr. McClure and his staff always work careful to identify the source of a problem. They are very thorough in their exams and never recommend something that might work. I love this office and look forward to every visit. They are very personable. My three year old was happy to go and have an xray without me (her choice, not mine)! It is nice to have an environment that kids are comfortable with! Love this place.

An absolutely amazing experience. We had went to a Kid Dental place to have our 4 year old sons teeth looked at and was told he would need 4-5,000 dollars (out of pocket) worth of dental work and might require more once he was under. He would also, due to his age, require an anesthesiologist and they would only use one that was out of network. I asked for a second opinion and was referred to Dr. McClure from our pediatrician. Dr. McClure and his staff was able to see our son quickly and offered several different options of treating Hudson, one being to just see if we can arrest the decay by just changing eating habits. We opted to go ahead and get the fillings which was done by a pain-free laser. No shots, no pain, no problems. Hudson came out of the chair smiling, gave Dr. McClure a high five and went immediately back to pre-school as if nothing had occurred. My jaw dropped at how amazing our appointment went and the bill was a *substantial* reduction in the out of pocket from the previous dentists recommendation. Dr. McClure will be the only dentist that will ever see my son and daughter from now on. They are amazing at what they do, great with kids, and charge a fair price for the work performed. I couldnt ask for me other than why they wont work on my teeth too!

Excellent dentist. Genuinely concerned about the kids whole dental health, diet, eating and rinsing habits, as well as brushing. Excellent with children - uses smiles, magic tricks, and puts them at ease. We were worried our 2 year old might be required to get x-rays, but Dr McClure only does them once kids are older than 4 unless for a specific obvious problem. That impresses me so much! Certainly a nice, cheerful, clean and spacious office too. They dont put the kids in those narrow claustrophobic cubicles like regular dentists offices. And they have cartoons on big-screen TVs bolted to the ceiling for the kids to watch during the cleaning! Its the best dental office Ive ever seen.

I was so impressed with the quality of the dental work and their care and concern for my son that when Dr. McClure stopped practicing there, I decided to follow him all the way to McKinney. They went above and beyond to make our first cleaning appointment for all 5 kids great. We are definitely loyal patients now, and I would highly recommend his office to anyone.

My kids love going to Dr. Jon! The office staff is among the nicest people I know! They are always punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable! Feels like family!

Dr. Jon was always very respected by his dental classmates, but I now know 1st hand how great he is! Due to him and his great team, my daughter had a wonderful 1st official dental visit. I am a dental professional, and I can personally and professionally recommend Dr. Jon!

I trust Dr. McClure 100% with my kids. He is so funny, gentle and caring. The things that I like the most about Dr. McClure is that he has a good heart and he treats our kids like his. If you have kids take them to Dr. McClure for their dental needs. You wont regret it.

Wonderful experience! My 5 year old was told by another dentist she would need 4 fillings, but Dr. McClure is able to treat the decay at this point without surgery or fillings. My daughter loved the office and the staff!

BEST Pediatric Dentist EVER!Dr. McClure of McClure Pediatric Dentistry in Frisco is hands down the BEST dentist for children! I am in no way affiliated with this office – I am just a very nervous Mom with a very nervous son, who has had terrible experiences with dentists, which caused some trauma for him. Our last dentist, our last visit, I swore I would not return – we were both upset by the whole experience; zero patience with my son; hurting him and when he told them it was hurting, basically being told to be a ‘big boy.’ When you have a child who is already a wiggle worm and doesn’t like having someone mess around in his mouth, it’s never a pleasant experience going to the dentist – but, when you have a dentist who does nothing to further that trust and cooperation from your child, well, that’s even worse. And, I just could not find a dentist who put my son at ease, made my son comfortable enough to get through an appointment without additional gray hairs; so, I did my homework. I found Dr. McClure and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and his team.My son’s last dentist broke one of his teeth, so I took him to see Dr. McClure, expecting it might be a very stressful visit, with my son in tears. Dr. McClure is AMAZING – talked to my son through the entire experience, put him at ease – my son got through the appointment like a champ. No crying, no wiggling, no fighting – he cooperated the entire time. As soon as Dr. McClure was done, my son ran over, gave me a big hug and said how much he really likes Dr. McClure. The car ride home, he kept talking about Dr. McClure and what a great dentist he is and how happy he is that I took him there. WOW! What a turnaround and what a wonderful testimonial of just how good Dr. McClure is.I had to share this, because this has been by far one of the more stressful experiences made so much better by one doctor and his office. I highly recommend Dr. McClure for pediatric dentistry. I wish he could be my dentist!

My daughter was very uneasy when it came to going to the dentist. All the staff at McClure are so friendly and caring, and have been so incredibly patient with my daughter. She is now doing so much better, and going to the dentist is fun! Would recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

We had a hard time finding a dentist for our daughter. We happened upon McClure Dentistry. We could not have been happier with the way the appointment went. Great staff. It is an hour drive for us but well worth it.

Dr. McClure is amazing!!! My son is not a fan of going to the dentist but Dr. McClure definitely makes it easier for him. He’s friendly, professional, and really good with kids. I like that he listened to our concerns and that he took the time to make my son comfortable. It makes such a big difference. I’ve taken my son to a pediatric dentist when we lived in Las Vegas and it was borderline traumatic for him. I’d recommend Dr. McClure to everyone!

My kid needed a filling, was referred to Dr John by my dentistVery nice place, they explain everything before hand and work good with kids.They used pain free laser, ofcourse costly , but useful for kids.Overall we had a good experience.

We had our first visit today for our 5 year old and 13 month old, and it could not have been better! We took our almost three year old daughter to McClure Pediatric Dentisty. From the first phone call to the visit, Dr. McClure and his team were extremely friendly and helpful. Not only did they examine and clean our daughters teeth - they took the time to look at her little stuffed kitty cats teeth. We walked out of there educated about our daughters oral health and the why behind oral health in general. My husband hates the dentist and Dr. McClure and his team even made him want to go to see them! Anyone with children should take them to see Dr. McClure and team!
