Highly recommend sea of smiles! The entire staff from front to back are so kind and really took their time to answer all my questions. My 18 month old needed some dental work and Dr. Doan and staff couldn’t have made the process any smoother! So thankful to have our child in the BEST hands!

We have been coming to Dr. Doan for about 4 years. She is a very thorough pediatric dentist. She breaks down every concern you have. She also relates very well to the kids and makes them more aware of bad and good habits to maintain healthy teeth. Her staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Definitely a great place for your kids to feel comfortable and have a great experience with their dentist.

So let me start off by saying that you need to read this until the end if you are taking your child soon. Dr. Doan is the absolute best and my kid’s have both been seeing her since they were infants. We actually moved out of the area and I drive 40 minutes for their appointments because I trust doctor doan so much and do not want to have to go through the hassle of getting comfortable with someone else or taking my kids somewhere that isn’t wonderful. My kids had an appointment this week that the office called me to schedule, dr.doan is apparently on maternity leave but they did not tell me that until we arrived for our appointment. So this review is about Dr. Sara Ehsani. She said my daughter (15 months) has a lip tie, and that it’s a quick, easy, painless procedure. Just a very no big deal attitude about it. As I’ve said, I drive 40 minutes to bring them so I said okay great let’s get it taken care of. My daughter screamed so loud during the procedure that she could be heard in any part of the office. My 5 year old son sat in the waiting room listening to this for the duration and was almost crying when we came back out saying he wanted to come rescue his sister. He cried on the way home and is still very bothered by it. She also apparently needs 5 weeks of pretty extensive aftercare which thankfully we can provide even though we were not told about this in advance and I can’t see most daycares doing the stretches and the meds etc 3-5 times a day. In addition to this, it was not even done right!! I sent pictures of how it looks today to the office and was called by another doctor who was insistent that we come back and see him snd only him as he has been performing the procedure for a long time. Dr. Ehsani cut too far up into my daughters lip tissue but the tie between the teeth is still there. So all in all, she’s had this procedure and 3 days of painful stretching for no reason, because now we have to let it heal and go back and have it redone in 3 weeks by the other doctor. Dr. Ehsani should clearly not be performing this procedure on anyone’s child and I’m so frustrated about the unnecessary physical and emotional pain caused to honestly both of my children due to this. Word to the wise, wait for doctor doan to get back or see the male doctor who is filling in if you need this procedure done!

Wow, wish I could give them more stars. Most educational dental experience Ive ever had, you can tell Dr. Doan is passionate about helping your child develop good habits for lifelong healthy teeth. The kids can’t stop talking about their visit. So happy we found them 👍🏼👍🏼

This is the best dentist in Frisco! The office is gorgeous. The staff is so friendly and professional and the dentist is knowledgeable and kind! They are quick and efficient. And take many Covid precautions that I really appreciate! Highly recommend!

Worst experience today, please don’t make appointments for Fridays at 1:30 the staff is ready to go home and they won’t care if the child is in pain. (Vanessa made that very clear) what they will say is ‘we can do a cleaning’ and what they will worry about is cleaning the equipment all while Dr.Doan is trying to explain what is going on with your child teeth as well as the course of action I as the parent should take to put my child to sleep or numb her to fix my child teeth that was in pain at the moment.

Horrible experience with staff the dentist and dental assistants seemed very nice, but they lack professionalism and empathy! They did not do their due diligence when requesting a deposit towards a procedure, I then needed to reschedule and was advised that the deposit would be kept because of the timeline. No one ever told me about these specifics and or reschedule timelines when the appointment was scheduled, no apologies were made a refund of the $50 dollars was made and I was told I could then reschedule. Once the refund was processed the young lady began sounding sketchy and I asked what was going on was there an issue...the young lady then cowardly advised that the refund was their way of disengaging with our son! How disgusting does that sound, with that type of mentality and having our business with no issue for 2 years you dont even deserve the right to serve the children of our community.... Doesnt help that we are a family of color, I wonder if the out come would have been different if that werent the case especially the lack of professionalism and sensitivity that we were treated with!

Sea of Smiles has been nothing short of an amazing and still an amazing ride. The office has from the beginning been very friendly, loving and kind; still is.The staff is welcoming. (Smiles and all) Dr. Doan has been an amazing doctor to my child. She explains everything !! In adult and kid terminology ☺️☺️It has been an amazing 3 years & counting ! We would not DARE go anywhere else. Thank you for it all SEA OF SMILES !

I have been bringing my two daughters here for the last 5 years and they absolutely love going to the dentist because of this place! Everyone is always so friendly and my girls love the balloon animals they get every time they go. Dr. Doan truly has a heart for children’s dentistry and she has a great way of explaining things.

The staff here are wonderful!! My child was very afraid and I am not going to lie, he was BAD. Trying to run out of the room, not wanting to let the doctor look in his mouth, you name it, he did it. But everyone was so great and worked with him, they never lost their cool. Everyone stayed calm and we got through the appointment. We did not get all the X-rays, but he left with a balloon and said Im brave. I highly recommend them.

Everyone was super friendly, they walked my daughter through everything before they did anything. They held conversations with me which is nice. They made sure to address any concerns I had. Over all they were great! we were in and out super quick.If you haven’t been here before, pay them a visit it is well worth it!!

Great dentist and staff. Quick, easy and very knowledgeable. Office was very clean and the staff is amazing.Just as an example, we went in for a large cavity, tooth extraction and a spacer and were out within an hour of getting there. She’s very careful and has a fantastic personality that gets kids to feel comfortable.

My kids love this place! I’ve been bring my daughter since she was 6 months old and now she’s 5. We’ve never had an issue with anything. We recently brought baby brother and he did great too! Dr Doan and her team were so patient and sweet with them.

This is hands down the best dentist we have been to! The front desk is helpful and works around my schedule, check in process was smooth & check out was even better! My daughter is super picky and Val made her feel so comfortable (loved the iPad) having some kid free time is AMAZING!!! & Dr Doan was super patient with her, they are informative/thorough, and my kid loves coming here. Best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many dental appointments before. Doctor Doan is amazing! We brought my 5 year old there for the first time. He’s always been very anxious about the dentist, and gets really nervous and cries (and sometimes kicks!) whenever he’s gotten his teeth cleaned. After talking with Dr. Doan for 2 minutes my son was calm and cooperative, and she was able to do a very thorough cleaning. I could not believe my eyes, it’s like she’s a baby whisperer! The staff is also friendly and are great with little ones. Highly recommend!

Extremely happy with this dentist office. Dr. Tram was very thorough and attentive with our emergency last night. Even the pharmacist told me how wonderfully invested she was when she called him to discuss which medication would be suitable. Highly recommend them.

Great staff, very attentive and friendly... Dr. Dana is great and Im very pleased with my first 2 visits with my 2 1/2 yr old son. She very knowledgeable in dentistry and gives great guidance and techniques to help with my young son on brushing etc. I would highly recommend using her dentistry. Its very kid friendly and has a large aquarium too :)Oh, and I had to reschedule 2 different times because my son was sick one week and wasnt able to attend the second because my wife couldnt make it to meet the staff. The admin team reschedule my sons appointment 2 different times as I had called about 2 days ahead of time to reschedule and they were VERY accommodating. 2 thumbs up for them as well!!

We had such a great experience today! My son is barely 4 and needed 4 fillings. Vanessa and Dr. Doan did so good with him. They were very patient and reassuring and he did amazing. I am thankful we were referred to this practice as it is so kid friendly and everyone is so kind and professional.

The staff was energetic and welcoming. They had a great waiting area for children. The visit was very informational and understand of life with a toddler. My child was very comfortable with the staff and doctor and they ended the visit with a balloon animal and a toy. Already referred them to a friend. Very pleased!

This place doesn’t deserve any stars. All they care about is milking the insurance and drilling wholes in kids teeth that don’t need it. Especially there baby teeth that will fall out. Also if you make an appointment thinking your going to get work the same day think again that’s just a way for them to get you to make another appointment but get this you have to put Down a down payment what kind of mess is this that. Parents be aware of this scam of a company. They will talk to your kids like there nothing would not call this a pediatric dentistry or anywhere safe I would take my kids. I hate I have this place any of my time.

Took my two year old to Sea of Smiles today for her first dentist appointment! Not only was the staff kind and welcoming, Dr. Doan and her assistant was wonderful with the kid. The office is really cute and fun for kids. Definitely doesnt have the typical dental office feel. And the fish tank was a HUGE hit, along with the treasure chest full of trinkets and the balloon animal. We got in the car and my daughter said teeth doctor was so fun! Already recommended Sea of Smiles to a couple coworkers!

My family and I relocated to the Dallas Area this year. Though my daughter like me is “blessed” with “amazing teeth”. For simplicity sake we’ve been seeing one dentist. Unfortunately my daughter needed an extraction that my dentist said would be better suited for a pediatric dentist and referred me to Sea of Smiles in Frisco. Long story short Dr. Doan and the staff were great during the process! At any age an extraction is one of the least fun dental procedures one can endure but the staff during and after the process has been great!

An amazing experience from check in to check out. Everyone is so welcoming, caring, and friendly! They were so patient with my 3 year old. Such a positive experience for my family and I. Dr. Doan is super knowledgeable and patient! Being a first time patient, they gave us a tour of their beautiful facility making us more comfortable. Definitely recommend!!!

I love this place. The staff is extremely friendly. Theres at theatre room, great under water decor, a sunken-ship treasure chest area, TVs on the ceiling, and fish tanks! The dentist is awesome. We have been going to Sea of Smiles for a while now with my son. The staff works hard to insure the entire visit is fun and the treatment is painless. My son (4 year s old) still talks about the “bubble gum air” she got to smell, the soft “tooth pillow”, and the “Superman shield” they painted on his teeth for the filling. Top it off with a trip to a sunken treasure chest and he would never have know that it was a dentist appointment he just had. On the flip side, the knowledge that the doctor and staff have, as well as their delivery of information is outstanding. We will not be going anywhere else!

The establishment is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The office itself is very kid friendly which is great. My 9 year old son said he liked the office which was great as he was not happy about leaving his previous dentist. The dentist took the time to speak with me personally and then addressed my son directly which is great for teaching him to be independent and responsible for his dental health. Definitely a must see if you are looking for a new dentist for your little ones.

Dr Doan is great. I glad we have a great dentist to take care of my daughters teeth. They are always friendly and scheduling an appointment (even an emergency one) is super easy and convenient. Plus my daughter loves everyone here too so thats always a plus

I cant even begin to say enough great things about our experience the other day! This was our first visit to the office. To begin with, the staff is amazing! It was wonderful to talk with Dr. Doan, Vanessa, Lorena and Nicole and they are all so kind, knowledgeable, and fun! The office is beautiful and very clean. Thankfully, they were able to get us in the same day we called since my son was experiencing some pain. They were very thorough and consulted with me on each procedure they recommended including the cost associated with each item. Another thing that I really appreciated was that they communicated with my son during his entire procedure and explained what they would be doing each step of the way so he was always prepared for what was next and what to expect. He ended up having his tooth pulled and still said he had a great experience and enjoyed his time there! We look forward to our next appointment. We switched dentists to be closer to home and tried Sea of Smiles. I cant say enough positive things about our experience. The staff were friendly every step of the way. With three kids, we were in and out in under 45 minutes. My kids usually fear the x-ray part, and the staff were so patient that all the kids said the x-ray part is so easy! We felt very welcome and Dr. Doan did a great job explaining recommended treatments and behavior changes the kids can make. Bonus - everyone left with a balloon sword which was the highlight of the visit. Theyre excited to come back in six months. My husband & I took our 2 year old for his first appointment at this office on 8-10 & I will say I was very happy. It was nice to get a tour first & needless to say he really enjoyed looking at the fish. This is the 3d dentist Ive had for him already because of not finding anyone I liked. My daughter had fractured her front teeth and we went to two other dentists to fix them, one of whom fixed them a couple of times, but none of them lasted longer than 1 month. Dr. Doan was not only able to provide my daughter a great experience, her fillings have lasted over a year now and are the prettiest ones we’ve seen. Definitely recommend this practice!

We have been seeing Dr. Doan for a year and every visit has been absolutely amazing! They work on prevention and education to avoid costly and anxiety causing dental procedures which is important to me, as a previous dentist only seemed interested in performing procedures. Absolutely love this place! My son had always cried when it came to dentist visits, but they never showed any frustration, they talked to him and made him very comfortable. They even walked him over to the treasure chest and made him a balloon sword! Now he goes and doesnt cry at all. Absolutely love it here and would recommend this practice to anyone.

We were referred here as our dentist attempted, but was unable to do a couple of orthodontic extractions for our daughter. We were told we would probably need a sedation. When we got to this office, everyone made her feel welcome and comfortable. She was still anxious about the treatment, but Dr. Doan was so gentle and talk to her to distracted her the whole time. She did not even know when she got the injections or got her 2 teeth pulled. We used laughing gas, avoided the cost of sedation and me daughter left with confidence and with a popsicles!

The office staff here are awesome with my kiddos. The dentist is patient and takes extra time to discuss xray results and preventative care to avoid possible cavities. Thank you for great customer service.

I was super excited when I found out my fellow Baylor dental classmate who was the top of our class and known school-wide for her hand skills was opening her own practice here in Dfw! And I was not disappointed at all—her office is gorgeous and organized, everyone courteous, and she did these fillings on my difficult 4 year old that are absolutely gorgeous. Highly highly recommend!

Dr. Doan is so sweet and Kind. So is the staff. This was our first try for my son’s pediatric dentist and so long as we can help it we won’t be going anywhere else. Almost 3 years in and it’s still amazing. The staff is always so patient and kind to my son and I. He is able to pick a treasure from the treasure chest at the end of his appointment. The last appointment they made him a sword balloon which he just loved. The waiting area for kids is awesome and my son literally doesn’t want to leave when we go. They’ve thought of everything at this office to make it enjoyable for kids. Dr. Doan is the best!

The doctor and staff are really nice and professional. They are explaining everything in detail. Kids had fun and they didnt even feel that they are being treated.

The visit itself was great and the staff were super friendly.After having a problem initially with an unexpected out-of-pocket cost for an uncovered treatment line item which we only learned about later, they called me back to review the line item and refunded me for the out of pocket cost. Incredible service.Theyre definitely willing to go above and beyond to retain their customer base.

Dr. Doan is absolutely amazing. She did my sons dental work with laughing gas and was so kind with him. She was professional and patient. We feel so blessed to have found this office! My child had an accident and it was late at night. I called a couple of offices and some never called me back. I was able to text Dr. Doan a picture of the area, she was so calming, informative, and talked me through how to help my child and we were not even patients of the office yet. This office was amazing! I brought 3 of my kids here - a 6 year old, 4 year old and 2 year old here. Eventually Ill bring my 4 month old when he gets some teeth! Phenomenal practice! Everyone was wonderful with my children. They were reserved when we first entered, but could not wait to come back by the time we left. They talked about their visit the whole ride home, who can say that about their pediatric dentist! The beach/sea atmosphere is so adorable. I recommend this place because if their nice environment for kids. The staff is courteous and nice, but they do the kids treatment in a hurry to be done. When the patient starts to whine or be uncomfortable thats when the dentist starts to feel inpatient and ignores the poor kid.. I really dont think this is the right thing to do.. I believe that if this place is a pediatric dentistry they should be more patient and comprehensive with the little ones.

My kids actually beg to go to the dentist! How many kids say that? They can accommodate all THREE of my kids at the same time and are always flexible with our busy schedule which is so convenient. Can I give them more than 5 stars?!

Our first visit here was fantastic! The staff was very friendly. The office is very nice, great theme. Dr. Doan took the time to explain everything to us, from teeth brushing and flossing (the why, the science, and the how) down to braces (also the why, the science, and the how). In all the years of going to the dentist myself, on top of my child going to the dentist, no one has taken the time to break down literally everything that was talked about, from simple matters to more advanced. Great office. Friendly, clean, organized and always prompt. Children have so much to keep them entertained ex: theatre room, ceiling movies to watch while having detailed work completed, treasure chests, fishes, balloon making....this feels like an outting instead of a routine dental check up.

BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!I have a 7 yr old autistic son. Going to the dentist is a challenging task to say the least. Today was our first time going to Sea of Smiles and I left smiling from ear to ear. I can not thank the staff enough for making both my son and I feel welcomed and made this an enjoyable experience. I rarely leave reviews but the knowing the staff and doctor went above and beyond I just had to share my experience.I highly recommend Dr. Doan and her team!Thank you again.

I personally worked along side of Dr.Doan, she is a top notch dentist. I trust her with my kiddos smile. She is kind and compassionate to the kiddos and always has a open ear to the parents. Highly recommend!
