The atmosphere in the office was very friendly. So was the reception by the office manager. Even though there were several patients in the office eachstaff member gave me the full attention as he or she spent time with me.I received a thorough teeth cleaning with no discomfort whatsoever.I was impressed with two elements. During the time I was there, every oneworked so seamlessly. This reflects the excellent work by the office manager. And the second element was the doctor himself.The doctor was extremely professional and knowledgeable.He gave me enough time to explain my concerns. He listened to me carefully and answered my questions well.My dental needs are very complex and so will be the treatment plan. I am sure of that. So afterobtaining all the necessary information, the doctor decided to come up with several desirable treatment modalities to explain to me next time.I cannot wait to go there again for the second visit.

I have been under the care of Dr Vahadi for nearly 20 years now, and my husband and 3 young children visit him as well. He is so gentle that I do not even use anesthesia when he works on my teeth. There us *never* a long wait, office runs smoothly and every one is friendly and helpful.

Dr Vahadi is simply outstanding, I would highly recommend him to any and everyone. I split/cracked a tooth (molder) in half on a Thursday night, saw my regular dentist Friday morning and the damage was beyond her capability and she is an excellent dentist. The problem then became finding someone with the skills to solve my problem at noon on a Friday. Dr Vahadi agreed to see me at the end of his day. He immediately put me at ease, showed and explained my problem, presented me my options, and answered all my question. I picked an option that could not be done at his current office, but he said he could meet me at his primary office Saturday morning. Yes, he said he could meet me first thing Saturday morning. I arrived and again he put me at ease and briefly recapped the procedure. His “chair side” manner is again outstanding. He explains what he is doing, tells you if you may feel a pinch or some pressure, hear some noise (cracking or drilling) before you do, and in between and throughout he is asking how you are doing and generally keeping you relaxed. Even when he was done, he asked how I was doing and felt, told me what I could expect, asked if I had any questions and said his dental technician would be right back with paperwork for specific dos and don’ts. By the way, his technician was excellent, I have a gag reflex and at no time did I feel like I was being water boarded. His office staff is also excellent. I have had several follow up emails with post opt instructions, telling me to call if I have any problems and reminders of my follow up appointments. The cherry on top for Dr. Vahadi is everyone I dealt with in his office was very friendly and that is especially important when you are in pain.

Thoughtful, precise, and fast -  Dr. Vahadi makes sure all of your dental needs are met beyond expectations.My dad and I have been seeing Dr. Vahadi for the last 3 years and we have gotten root canal therapy, implants, tooth extraction, you name it.  And were 100% satisfied with the lasting quality of all procedures. We appreciate the fact we are able to receive every stage of the treatment from one trusted dentist.  With his level of expertise and advanced technology used for treatments, the cost is very reasonable, and I wouldnt say that about most dentists offices lol. (Note: you can receive discounts if you purchase their IN-HOUSE insurance plan).What also makes his practice a full package is everyone else who works at Lone Star Dental. The front desk staff are extremely clear in communicating your appointments and billing information beforehand...not to mention theyre so friendly! I never spend more than 5 minutes in their waiting room - that says a lot about their organization. The hygienists are highly skilled, always making sure you feel at ease before and during the treatment.Trust me, this is the dentist youve been looking for :)

Unfortunately in every business there is one that will give you the most unpleasant experience, in Lone Star Dental MRS.Fariba(reception)is the one . My doctor did a great job but when it was time for payment she was trying so hard to get extra money from me even though my insurance would cover 80% of the charges and fees. She charged me extra $26 dollars on top of the money that my insurance paid me and when I asked her for the reason she was just staring at me.

I have always being very satisfied with the care my kids and I have received at Lone Star Dental the last 15 years. Great service and professional staff. Dr. Vahadi is passionate about what he does and takes the extra time to throughly discuss the treatments options.

Woke up with excruciating pain at 6AM, later was able to see Dr.Vahadi, at 9AM and by 11, I walked out with it removed and in way less than i woke up to, will be coming back for future appointments

My family has been with the dentist office for 15 years. We are happy patients!

Dr. Vafa Mirshams has send my 18 years son home as he forgot to bring the co-pay, I called the clinic to speak with the doctor to ask her if we can pay the co-pay later on today as Im currently at work , or at the next visit but she refused to speak with me, Instead, she offer my son to do one filling for him, and re-schedule him to do the rest ( 5 more fillings ) at a later time since he did not pay the co-pay ($70). We have been as customers at this clinic for the last 3 years, and look how they treating us.Also, last week my other son (13 years) had an extraction for one of his teeth by the same doctor without numbing him properly, and he was screaming in pain .We have had the worse dentist experience ever with this Doctor.

Missed a big referral for my son to go to the orthodontist. Now he needs 4 teeth pulled.Horrible personal experience with a filling, the ambulance needed to come, but I still had to pay!

This is a wonderful office, great staff and doctors. Amber has been awesome and helpful. Doctors were friendly, efficient and gentle on my teeth. The staff were super friendly and nice. I hadnt seen a dentist in a while. My last dentist changed hygienist and i didnt care for their new one. So I called here and Amber helped me get scheduled very quickly and even found me ways to save some money. I got a deep cleaning and a new awesome electric toothbrush. This will now be my new dentist and I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new dental office.

Lone Star Dental is awesome! My family started going to them when my kids were in elementary school. They have both graduated from college, and we are still using their services...what does that tell you? Dr Vahadi always takes time to chat about your general life, and never rush you. I was in pain for two days and was not looking forward to being in pain over a wekend. I called Dr. Vahadis office and they were able to get me in to see the doctor on a Friday. Happily the problem was minor but I was grateful that the office was able to accommodate me. Dr. Vahadi is a wonderful dentist who placed two implants at one time with bone graft with no pain and no problems. He also replaced a front crown and it was done perfectly. I was seen by Dr. Vahadi for an extraction and bone graft. He went above and beyond in treatment care. Before beginning treatment explained why and how treatment would be done. Dr. Vahadi checked with me through out the procedure to make sure I was not in any pain. The entire staff was polite and helpful. The office followed up the next day making sure I was doing okay. Upon arrival, I experienced a staff that was extraordinary in all aspects of the business. Dr. Vahadis professionalism was impeccable. He addressed the condition of my tooth and treatment required, then made time in his busy schedule for the procedure. The Root Canal, Post and Temporary Crown was performed in a very short time, without pain which put my mind at ease.The front desk staff walked me through all the paperwork on line that needed filling out in order to secure the immediate additional insurance needed. The entire visit was seamless and without any stress. I made an appointment while I was there to have a complete deep cleaning of my teeth prior to the Permanent Crown being put on in a few weeks.
