Dr. Yassen is an exceptional endodontist. He is very kind with a calming sense of humor. He is very gentle and explains well. His staff is also very kind and professional. They also follow up to make sure you are doing well after the procedure. I highly recommend.

Dr. Ghaeth Yassen and his assistant Norma at the Frisco TEGI took amazing care of my incredibly unhappy tooth. I am very thankful for Dr. Yassens expertly executed root canal, especially on my challenging Russian tooth root system. :) I still need to return to get the root canal completed in 2 weeks, but am super happy with the work done this morning to alleviate my pain and provide relief. )This is the 2nd time Ive had a root canal done at this practice (separate teeth).I highly recommend this Dr. and practice to anyone needing endodontic work.

I’m like most people I know, dental work is not my favorite way to spend an afternoon. I had a very unhappy tooth. Dr. Yassen was able to see me the same day I called. Excellent customer care and patient care! I cannot say enough about the front office staff and their assistance, as well as Dr. McMichael. I felt confident and comfortable. The procedure was explained in a manner I could understand and the front office staff even gave me insurance codes so I would have a reasonable idea of what I would be paying for the procedure. Extensive dental work is not fun, but when necessary, this is the place to go! Shout outs to Beverly, Shelby, Ariana as well! I am sure I am missing some, but all were accommodating and so friendly! I also had minimal if no waiting time for my appointments!

I went in a weeks ago with a pain, but wasn’t sure which tooth it was coming from. Dr. Yazzen did a pulp test on multiple teeth and recorded my reaction. We did the same test a week later and then decided to proceed with a root canal. The procedure went smoothly and we are hopeful we won’t have to do another. The office staff and doctor were very kind and thorough.

I would have difficulty in using enough superlatives to thoroughly explain how satisfied and impressed I am with Dr Porter and the Team at this business. Let me say his examination was to assess the options and best course for my troublesome tooth. In my case, it would be a waste of time, money and discomfort to try to save it; and not only was I told that; it was done in an empathetic direct manner. Dr Porter patiently took the time to explain the situation with sketching out the explanation so I would fully understand (I call it talking paper). Then my options were likewise outlined with questions answered. So honest down to earth professional help and sharing of expertise is very much appreciated and almost nonexistent these days!

Today was the second time I’ve been to see Dr Porter and he has an outstanding practice! I got my first root canal here six years ago and it was so easy! I was terrified and they could not have provided a more comfortable experience. These guys are among the very best there is.

Dr. McMichael was amazing! I took a day off work to complete my root canal with a different doctor but due to an emergency with that doctor I had to reschedule. Luckily, she was able to squeeze me into her schedule at the last minute and took great care of my tooth. She was very knowledgeable and friendly & explained every step of the procedure. Her assistant was so great too. I had my crown scheduled for an hour later so both ladies worked fast and diligent. They managed to get me out on time for my crown appointment. Thank you both!

I had to see Dr. Porter for surgery last Monday and he and his assistant both took their masks off briefly at different points during my procedure. I felt exposed and completely helpless, which is upsetting. I’m immunocompromised and have been sheltering in place for 2+ months. This was my first forced foray to have emergency dental surgery.I will be thoroughly vetting the businesses I go to out of necessity. They had lots of things posted on their website and reassured me when I called about how they were taking precautions. Mostly it was true, with that exception, but it was a big violation of my trust that I was helpless to defend. I’m leaving this review because while Dr. Porter was an excellent doctor and I would otherwise highly recommend him (he gave me an excellent suggestion for fillings since I grind my teeth) I think it’s important for the people to know what to expect.I caught a nasty cold I’m still getting over (began 3-4 days post dental surgery). I also feel the nitrous oxide equipment maybe wasn’t sanitized well, exposing me to breathing in bacteria and recirculated air (in hindsight I 100% would have toughed it out or chose a method of sedation that doesn’t involve breathing in aerosolized solution). I’ve lost my sense of smell and taste and am praying it’s just a weird cold, and my 7 year old daughter ended up catching it too. We both have severe asthma. I think it’s just a common cold at this point, but the risk was just unnecessary and maybe they could have suggested skipping the laughing gas with the present situation.

This is my third root canal with 3 different practices. This has been the best experience. Great chair manners, empathetic, knowledgeable and in a weird way felt like home. I was so relaxed I fell asleep during the root canal. Highly recommend this practice and team.

They worked me in for an exam last minute and even did root canal same day too. Very professional, knowledgeable, and no pain experienced. They were able to test, diagnose, and recommend treatment plan to fix something a different dentist had damaged. I hope to never go back, but definitely will recommend them to friends in need! By far the best experience Ive ever had getting dental work done. Usually Im very nervous due to my anxiety but Dr. Greer as well as her assistant made me feel comfortable. I was referred to the Endodontic group for a tooth that needed the 3D X-ray capability that this office has, and my dentist does not. Was in pain due to an abscess and my dentist referred me to The Endo Group. Got in the next day and Dr. Buxt performed root canal. I am scheduled for a 2nd one in 2 weeks. Caring and friendly office, pure professionalism from front desk to exit. I highly recommend them. No pain is important to me and all I had afterward was mild discomfort for a few hours. This was my first root canal and I have to admit I was a bit nervous. The actual procedure was really easy from getting the initial shot, it took only seconds and hardly felt it, to actually getting the root canal. I might just go in to his office to get shots for all my dental work. I couldnt believe that it was that easy to numb my tooth for a root canal. Definitely different than what I am used to at the dentist office. I have had a few crowns done and this was way easier. I thought Dr. Porter did a great job, no more tooth pain, easier than a crown and maybe even easier than a filling. After the procedure, I didnt even need to take any pain medications, not even a couple of ibuprofen. If you need a root canal my advice is get it done and dont wait and get it done by Dr. Porter. The guy knows what he is doing.

Not a good experience. They insisted on running a test I was uncomfortable with. The dr. was lacking sensitivity to my concerns. There was no flexibility. I had 2 dentist both look at my X-ray and confirm I needed the root canal without running this test. I prefer an office that listens to concerns and had some degree of flexibly. The don’t have to act like a robot with a check list on these tests. Plus their pricing seemed super high compared to others in the area.

I had major pain with one of my molars on a Saturday and Sunday. I called first thing Monday morning to see if I could get in as soon as possible. They were able to get in me at 11:30 that same day! The procedure went great and the whole office was so kind. I was very nervous for my first root canal, but they made me feel super comfortable. Not only did they stop the pain right away, they even called back the next day to check on me. This was by far the best Ive ever been treated by any doctor/dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Porter and his office!!

Dr Menegazzo was incredible performing a root canal on me. It was my first time to have major tooth work done and I was so nervous the needles used to numb my mouth would hurt. I didn’t feel a thing. He was incredibly gentle, had wonderful bed side manner, was very calming, and made the procedure completely painless - not to mention I was in and out in 90 minutes and wasn’t expecting to have a root canal. The appointment was exploratory and they were able to perform the root canal while I was there, without any wait time. I would more than definitely use him for a root canal in the future.

Dr Butz was fantastic. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the correct tooth needing the root canal even though I thought it was my upper molar. He tested each molar on that side to make sure we identified the right tooth. The tooth was so old that it took 2 appointments to fill in the roots, but he got them all. So thankful that he took care of me. The staff are also very polite. Would definitely recommend to snyone needing Endodontic work done.

I have a strong and healthy fear of dentists due to some traumatic dental experiences as a kid.TEG was amazing. They were gentle, very little pain and or discomfort. I sat with sunglasses, a blanket and headphones listening to my favorite podcast while getting dental work done.They explained what would be happening, let me what was taking place and even let me choose my treatment options. My anxiety level was down to about zero the entire time.Most importantly, I walked out pain free after walking in with head ringing pain.Everyone was super happy and very very helpful. The Endodonic Group (Frisco) is awesome... I am not a fan of the dentist and was pretty terrified at the possibility of needing a root canal. From the moment I walked in, I was put at ease due to such a friendly and warm staff. then when Dr. McMichael walked in, I was even more at ease. She was so friendly and let me know every little thing she was going to do. Thankfully, I didnt end up needing the root canal at this time but if I ever do in the future, I will definitely choose them!!!
