I have been receiving care form Dr. Maxwell and staff for several years at Renew Family Dentistry. As Renew Family Dentistry owners have changed hands I never once considered changing to another Dentist. We love the warm greeting by the front office staff. Abby the Dental Hygienist was awesome. She has a great touch and a heart to serve others. Dr. Probst came in and did a quick exam and was very warm and personable. When checking out with Missy I thought she was warm and very personable. I considered a plan to help reduce costs for those that did not have insurance. Missy was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about the plan. It is not often you meet new people that seem like family like I feel at Renew Family Dentistry.

Very nice location. Office appeared to be well kept and clean. Dr. Ren is super kind, and attentive, and always made us feel welcome and comfortable. Very wonderful staff and hygienists (especially Monika who explained everything in details, and yes, she does have great hands!). The full view X-Ray equipment can be upgraded to be a little more modern, but the care of staff actually made up for this! Highly recommended.

I had the most wonderful experience and I hate the dentist! Very caring people and honest. Didn’t need to do one thing on one tooth. Took it off my bill on the way out. The new dentist and his assistant were so gentle and caring that it turned out to be awesome. Walked out with two beautiful same day crowns! No post pain or bite realignments. The experience at Renew Family Dentistry was excellent from start to finish. The front office people were very helpful and friendly.The back office people from the Dentists Assistant on were great and waylayed my normal dentist fears (I am older and been to dentists in the 50s).The new technologies they use are amazing and made my experience very pleasant.The dentist was great and answered all my questions.In all, it was the nicest experience I have ever had with a dentist visit.And I totally recommend them 100%.

BEWARE OF NEW DOCTORS AND STAFF. I have been a patient at Renew for 5+ years. I would always pay with cash so my first visit of the year (cleaning) was $87 and second visit (cleaning + x-rays + exam) was $189. It was the same amounts year after year, unless something else came up.My visit last week was my second time with the new doctors/staff (previous dentist retired last year, unfortunately). It was just supposed to be a cleaning but Dr. Probst came in for roughly 30 seconds (which I thought nothing of at the time) and told me I had a small cavity and need a filling, which I had done that day. When I checked out, I realized they not only raised the price of a cleaning, but they also charged me $100+ for an exam. I was shocked considering my visit was only supposed to be a cleaning and Dr. Probst was with me for no longer than 30 seconds. I explained all of this to the office manager (several times) and even had them pull up my history but she refused to correct it. She told me if I didnt have the exam, I wouldnt have known about the cavity. That made zero sense since I WASNT SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE EXAM IN THE FIRST PLACE. I paid for the visit and will not be back. There are way too many dentists in Frisco to deal with offices that secretly charge fees.*Im only giving an extra star because the girl who did my cleaning (Abby?) was really nice and Missy at the front desk tried to help the situation as much as possible.

Today was my first time at Renew Family Dentistry, and it was a wonderful experience. Right from the beginning, I was greeted with helpful, welcoming staff and a beautiful office that has the most current technology. My dental hygienist, Stephanie, was an absolute joy. She picked up on small details relating to my dental needs and made sure to address all of my dental problems by providing great teaching. She walked me through every step and took time out of her schedule to explain all of the machines and what to look out for in terms of general dental hygiene. Dr. Ren is also a fantastic dentist! I have a small mouth, and she took extra care to make sure I was comfortable and took extra time to make sure my cavities were filled properly. Definitely the best experience Ive had with getting cavities filled because my mouth wasnt pulled more than necessary. I felt very well taken care of during my visit and highly recommend Renew Family Dentistry!

My family has been going here for almost 7 years and they are the most trust worthy dentist for all of us including our young kids. I’ve had implants, oral surgery, pulled wisdom teeth and plenty of oral care to improve my smile! The equipment is state of the art, the location is clean and inviting and the staff are beyond friendly. Although the ownership changed last year, nothing mentioned above has changed. I highly recommended Renew Dentistry!

I like this dental practice. They are very professional and give a personal touch. The office staff is easy to work with and very helpful.

If I could give this practice no stars I would. I transferred my Invisalign case to them about 8 months ago and I wished that I had not. At the beginning they charged me $500 when I had already paid for my trays and Invisalign does not charge them a penny. They did not bother to file this with insurance...not that they would have covered it. I paid it but was not happy about it. They called it chair time. Close to the end of my treatment, the trays quit fitting properly and I advised the assistant that they were not. She spoke with Dr. Probst and he declined to take a look. I have a very stubborn tooth that has had to have 2 revisions of trays and that was what was causing the tray to not fit correctly. The assistant said that I should be happy with the results as maybe that was all they could do. I thought that was a strange response. I go back 2 weeks later having not worn the ill-fitting trays for one of the weeks as they were making the stubborn tooth turn in the opposite direction than what was wanted. Dr. Ren proceeded to fuss at me for not calling and being non-compliant in wearing the trays. The assistant let me know there would be a charge for rescanning and submitting to Invisalign to get me back on track. The office manager called me the next day to let me know it would be another $550! Are you kidding me? Invisalign charges nothing for this. I told the manager that I would NOT be proceeding with treatment and the charge was ridiculous. Today I was notified by insurance that this practice filed 2 claims with them for payment. One claim is for $550 and the other is for $340. Im not even sure where the last dollar amount comes from, but I do recognize insurance fraud when I see it. These people are petty and unprofessional. Beware!PS. They also bombard you with texts and paperwork and emails...mainly to get you to review the practice. Its a pain.

Dr. , Monica and his staff treat me great and explain needs, options and recommendations really well. They’re not forcing unnecessary procedures. I trust them and that’s the best thing I can say about any provider.

Initially I was a little hesitant needing 2 crowns replaced, new dentist and I dont like dentist office visits at all. Well, this experience was super! Office focused on a no pain experience, concerned about the care for the patient and their well being. Willing to share anything needed to help with patient understanding and lastly, they have a great and organized team! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had cleaning appointment and said need a mouth guard and discussed the amount upfront and Dr. Rin Ordered whichever her most patients liked without what letting me know . so she reordered the mouth guard with assuring me that will not be extra cost and call me IF it is anything extra from my pocket .never called and made a new one and now they are asking me way more than I paid upfront . no one from office ever called and confirm the difference of it and now no one calls me and i am without the night guard but they got my money up front what i paid. i will never go back this place again. very Rude staff and they know what wrong they and Dr. Rin Did so she or staff dont even want to call or talk about it. i understand what you responded but my issue is Dr. Ren assured me that will not a any problem to remake from a lab and IF it is then she said to call me and to confirm the extra amount from my pocket to reorder nightguard but never did call to confirm with me so it is not a good practice for a new patients ! i see a issue from a office on some of previous reviews by not confirming up front. very disappointed. i have called the office manager and waiting for a phone call back . been 2 weeks . call the office main desk is no use . wont even let me talk or anything so why service is so Rude ??

I have been going to Renew for ~10 years starting at the original dentist off of ElDorado. Service has always been good. Things seemed to run smoother under Dr. Maxwell, but I am assuming the complications of COVID are having an impact. I was assigned a new hygienist for the 3rd or 4th time. It is irritating receiving a reminder text numerous times prior to each appointment and 2-3 asking for a review after the appointment. This lower rating is based on getting a new hygienist again and the irritating repetition of text messages.

Amazing Doctor and staff. Also I love the ladies at the front desk who always have a smile on their faces.

The team was very nice and helpful.I had been having tooth pain over the weekend and they were able to get me in to have the dentist take a look to see what was happening .Dr. Ren took care of me today and I really liked her .

I have been a patient at Renew for several years and today was the best visit yet! Nicky (sp?) was my hygienist and did an amazing job with confirming changes with my health, providing my cleaning and additional discussion regarding my dental health. Dr Probst was great, reviewed my current state and inspected my teeth and mouth, really appreciate the thorough checks for throat and mouth cancer! I have lived in many cities around the nation and I have to say Renew is the best I have experienced in my 50+ years!

Five Stars, hands, down. Dr. Probst, DMD, is the best of the best in Frisco and in the DFW area. He and his staff oversee the health of my and my husbands smiles. He proposed a detailed dental plan for me, after I inquired on straightening my teeth and, ultimately, cosmetic dentistry for my desired look. He listened and understood from the beginning exactly what I wanted my end result to be. He guided my Invisalign experience with fantastic results. I opted for in office Zoom bleaching and had optimal results. He has since capped six of my uppers, according the the original dental plan. I love my smile! He and his entire staff are awesome and caring professionals. I highly recommend Dr. Probst and Renew Family Dentistry!

I have severe dental anxiety and the entire staff works with me to ensure I’m comfortable and able to get dental treatment despite my anxiousness. I’ve dealt with dentists that did not care and dismissed my anxiety which made me delay getting treatment for years. Dr. Probst is amazing!! He is very nice, patient, and gentle!

The place was amazing! Got me right in and the staff was so friendly!! This was going to be a once and done visit but now I’m switching my whole family to this place!

Hygienes were great, but disappointed that 2019 crown needs to be replaced. Went back in March 2020 for discomfort related to it and and same dentist who looked at it in 2020 says need a new crown and no warranty.

I speak from experience as my father was a dentist, this is an amazing office and I am so very glad to have my dental care being handled in such a professional manner. The attention to detail and they’re concerned so obvious and put me at rate ease. I had a crown put on today and it’s completed start to finish by the time I walked out. Being a “gagger “. Always makes me wary going into a dental office. They adjusted and I never had an issue and I felt so calm. From the front desk, to the assistant, to Dr. Probst, this is a first class office.

Overall great experience during first visit

Had 2 crowns done on subsequent days (thursday and a friday). They look and feel great.They have a CNC machine there in the office that lets them fabricate the crown after using a scanner to scan your teeth. No waiting for weeks for the crown to be manufactured, its done in 45 minutes while you wait!Everyone there is super nice and professional. Chris and the team there at Renew did a great job.My wife has known Josh Maxwell since they were kids and we were worried that the new crew would not be as good. This is not something we are worrying about any longer. The new owners have not let the quality or service slide, which is good news because looking for a new dentist is a pain.Highly Recommend.

Today was my first visit to Renew Family Dental office. I was greeted by the two ladies at the front desk that were extremely helpful and polite. The office took all precautions with complete a survey regarding my current health status in regards to COVID. Then they took my temperature. I felt very comfortable in their office, the office was very clean and most of the staff had on double masks to keep patients safe during this COVID crisis. I was then greeted by my hygienist, Stefanie, who was extremely through and very pleasant. I then meet Dr. Probst, he was very attentive to my questions and explained treatment options regarding a crown. I was very impressed by the high quality of technology this office uses. I am so glad I made the switch to this dental office.

Doctor Laura Bratcher is amazing, top notch, one of the best. Her staff is as well. Recently I had a an old filling fall out. Dr. Probst had me in the same day, and a temporary placed. No pain, or discomfort at all.I also had an old implant fall off of the post that was several years old. They again had me in very quickly, and were able to get me fixed up in no time. Great staff there as well. Always very friendly, knowledgable, and very easy to work with for scheduling and billing.I should also note that they follow strict guidelines for COVID. I feel completely safe while im there. The waiting room is always empty or at most myself and one other person in a room that is easily 15-20 across. Mask are visible at all times, and hand sanitizer is available. Im very grateful they take this sort of precaution during a pandemic.

Renew Family Dentistry is the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff were thoughtful, kind, and gentle. I am a fan for life!I ended up having to get a crown because my tooth had multiple fractures and a large filling that was coming out (from a previous dentist). This is a dreaded thing for me - and usually involves lots of gagging, pain, and agony. Instead, it was a pain free experience. I thought maybe the dental assistant could read my mind as my lips were getting sore and she applied lip balm with a Q-tip. I didn’t gag once! I think there is hope I may overcome my fear of going to the dentist.Thank you Renew Family Dentistry!

I recently switched to Dr Maxwell when I started getting frustrated with scheduling appointments etc w my old dentist. I cannot believe how amazing the entire staff is. From the very first person that you see when you walk in , to the dental assistants, hygienists and the Dr himself you will have an excellent experience. Everyone is so helpful and friendly and the staff seems to be overly educated in every area that you instantly feel comfortable. The innovative technology is a lot more high tech than in my last Dentists office making the procedures much less scary , a LOT more detailed and informative and definitely less painful. I broke my crown needed a new one and my insurance was going to change to a plan that wouldnt cover near as much as the one I had. Dr Maxwell let me stay in the office that day so he could do the repair in between appointments so it wouldnt cost me additional fees. The staff made sure I was comfortable and that my experience was perfect. I have nothing but amazing things to say about every single person in this office. I have now switched my entire family of 6 over to his practice. I highly recommend this practice!

I came to Renew after a different dentist told me I would need lots of work but didn’t have the time to explain what the work would be and why I needed it. Dr. Maxwell took a look and could clearly tell me about the procedures I needed and why they were necessary. The office also worked with me so that I could come in as few times as possible to get the work done since I would need to find child care to do so.My last visit was just a general cleaning and I was impressed by the little things they did to make me comfortable.

Going to the dentist is traditionally an unpleasant experience. Dr. Maxwell and his staff make the visit not only easier but almost enjoyable. What I appreciate most is that they are punctual, efficient, thorough, and genuinely concerned about my dental health. For those reasons my entire family is with Renew Family Dentistry.

Brayden Deal was my dental assistant she was amazing she was on top of her game taking a full mouth x-ray and the technology they use WOW made it quick and easy in one room. Jennifer was So friendly and kind she checked my insurance and made my appointment and made everything so convenient during covid19. Dr. Bratcher is fantastic! I can’t say enough Dr. Bratcher the office is down a dental hygienist so I got Special Treatment the Dr. Bratcher herself cleaned my teeth! Blessed to have Renew Family Dentistry!

I just switched my young teens over from their pediatric dentist to Dr. Maxwells Office. They had a wonderful first experience! They said everyone is very friendly from the front desk, hygienist to the doctor. Their first cleaning, x-rays & examination was very thorough and they liked that the adults talked to them to explain everything instead of over them to me. Everyone seems to work well together in the office and that helped to keep the kids relaxed.

I would like to thank Dr. Maxwell and his staff for the tender, loving, and care that I received on my last visit! I had a root canal and I promise you that Dr. Maxwell and the beautiful ladies on his staff made my experience as gentle and painless as possible. I had spine surgery 4 weeks ago and Dr. Maxwell made a point to keep me comfortable. I even took a nap. :)I recommend Dr. Maxwell to anyone who needs any special treatment. He has even pulled my son baby teeth which had no desire to fall out on their own. My baby has special needs and didnt even know his teeth was out because he was so preoccupied watching some of his favorite shows on TV.Go visit Dr. Maxwell and the beautiful ladies in his office. He has treatments for the entire family. I have been seeing him for 4 years and I travel about 40 miles for my visit.

Dr. Maxwell and his staff provide a personal level of care and attention unmatched by other offices. As a patient, I found they did everything possible to make me comfortable. They even have some massaging dental chairs and headphones for the patients during procedures. Communication from the team is excellent.The location is situated within the professional building I of the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center complex. Parking is ample but sometimes quite full. The suite is very clean and well appointed with excellent equipment & dental technology.

The best experience with a dentist in my 63 years of living!!! Dr. Maxwell and his entire staff are exemplary. Also, the prices are fantastic!! I even got a refund! When has that ever happened? Ill miss them when I move next month because I know I will be hard pressed to find another dentists office with this level of competency and professionalism. He was very comfortable the entire time; they worked quickly and thoughtfully to ensure he wouldnt melt down. I have been a customer for a while (years, started at the old office on Eldorado, followed them to Warren) and I absolutely love Brittany. She has so much positivity, all the time, AND she has done wonders for my gums. Dr. Maxwell is good too, he is very chill, available when needed, and he listens well. My whole family comes here!

My family and I are new to the area and were in search for a new dentist. There are not nearly as many choices back home so the task seemed overwhelming. I search online and prayed for days. Finally, I found Renew Family Dentistry. After a warm, friendly, and professional conversation with Katherine on the phone, I decided to give them a try. The next morning, my wife and I were in their office. God had answered my prayers. The staff and Dr. Maxwell are great. There are no gimmicks to get you into the office. They just have a great practice with outstanding service. It looks like the beginning of a wonderful relationship.

I have been seeing Dr. Maxwell for almost 5 years now and he is the best dentist I have ever seen. His office runs efficiently and smoothly, there are never any billing surprises, and his technical expertise is unmatched. I have been unfortunate enough to have a root canal on almost every molar in my mouth, and always found the recovery process extremely painful, requiring narcotic pain medication and several days or even a week of soft foods. Ive had two root canals, including one on a severely infected root, with Dr. Maxwell and both times all I needed was some Tylenol for that evening and the next day and no diet modification. I wish I had found him sooner!

Dr. Maxwell is a amazing and really takes the time to listen to your wants and needs. Their prices are very reasonable and their dental hygienists are very friendly and even great to help out if you have to bring the kids with you

My young son and I have been going to Renew Family Dentistry for a few years now for teeth cleanings and a filling as well as for Invisalign and now a veneer for myself. I have always found Dr. Maxwell and his staff to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, fair, and friendly. They do great work, are wonderful with kids, and are seriously a pleasure to visit. Plus the office is always beautiful and clean with full amenities. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
