Ive been using a custom dental appliance from Dr. Schapansky for several years, and its made a difference in my sleep quality and reducing sleep apnea. My wife says I dont snore anymore as well, which is equally important to me that she sleeps well. Ive had the appliance repaired twice with a small charge to repair it each time. Its been better than replacing it for sure. It has definitely been a worthwhile investment in my health.

The appliance they are selling is not reliable and you are charged for repairs every time it fails I do not recommend Schapansky to anyone and wish I would of known this before I spent the amount of money I did with them. The people were overall respectful but they were not up front on how often their equipment would fail from the beginning.

Just be careful, they will not verify your insurance ahead of time. Their purpose in life is to push their oral appliance, even if it may not be best suited for the patient. The upfront cost is outrageous. I have no doubt it works for some people, but it doesnt work for all. By the time you realize that it works or not your $1800 or more in to it, your cost. If you have a high AHI be skeptical of the benefits. Never felt so ripped off, with absolutely no recourse, in my life.

Absolute life changer for not only myself, but my husband! I first went to Doctor Schapansky because I know I had some level of sleep apnea. The thorough pre-test and analysis proved I inherited my Dad’s habit, and I was prescribed a variation of their many oral appliances. For the last two years, no only has my sleep improved, but my husband’s as well- once I finally got him to make an appt and get on the proper care path by Dr. Scott and his team.It it TRULY a life-changing experience once you start sleeping with this, and working to better health and sleep over time. This investment in your health, more energy, and better sleep truly cannot be priced. The team is upfront and takes care of any of your needs. A+++ From start.. to middle... to now :)

This place is really great. The service they provide is excellent and it shows that they care about you and your overall health. The fact they have an onsite lab and can repair stuff while you wait is awesome. We drive over an hour just to come here. Highly recommend it. They made the whole CPAP world very easy and i wouldnt go anywhere else for treatment.

WORST PLACE EVER!! brought my kaiser card. they NEVER told me they dont take kaiser until AFTER my follow up visit! thats the first thing they should of told me or i would have never gone!! or say so youre gonna pay out of pocket since we dont take kaiser? i even asked if they can work with me on the bill. they said NO!! and waste of $$ didnt even get a solution to my sleep problem!!!

8-12-19I can Dream again. I was able to start losing weight. I just felt better.I had pretty much given up hope. I thought how could I wake up feeling this bad. My feet hurt all the time. I limped around like an old man. I would dread the walk from the car to the store. I had been diagnosed with sever Sleep apnea. I tried the CPAP but it felt like I was being water boarded. I heard the add on the radio and decided to call. When I consulted with Dr. Schapansky, I asked if he could help me. I will never forget the look of compassion when he said yeah, we can help. There was a process to my recovery. After using the oral appliance for a few months, I felt so much better. More energy, less pain, however; on my second sleep test I still had sever sleep apnea. So we added the APAP machine. What a huge difference. For the most part, I sleep all night. Now I feel like my body is healing itself from the effects of low oxygen for so many years. It is a process of filling up the oxygen reservoir that had been empty for so long. I used to dread going to sleep because I would wake up gasping for air. Now I look forward to sleeping because I know I wake up feeling good.I would like to sincerely thank both Doctors Schapansky and their staff. You have truly changed my like. Beware. On your first visit they will have you undergo multiple “bloodwork” that my doctors said was unnecessary and expensive at an outside lab. Your insurance will likely not cover this and you will get stuck with a bill for hundreds of dollars from the lab.Next, after your sleep study, they will push the oral appliance that they make over cpap. This will cost you another 900 to 1700 dollars and once you get the appliance, you will most likely find out that it doesn’t resolve your apnea. It only works for a small percentage of patients.Next they will push a hybrid appliance which will cost you 950 for the machine and 300-500 for the appliance and equipment.At this point I cried uncle.Unless you have several thousands of dollars to ultimately end up on the cpap that you should have been placed on your first visit, avoid this place.

Ive got to give a HUGE thanks to Schapansky Sleep & Wellness Center for the work they do.I have had sleep apnea for over 20 years, although it wasn’t confirmed until 3 years ago. My sleep study showed that I was a high-moderate sleep apnea patient with an AHI of 28. I went the traditional route of a CPAP mask for almost 2 years until I couldn’t take it anymore. So I looked for a new solution and found Schapansky. They set me up with mouthpiece, an oral appliance, that I admit, felt a little odd at first, but was still so much better than a mask! I’ve noticed less fatigue and more energy than I used to have, even with the CPAP. I did a follow up sleep study with my mouthpiece from Schapansky and I was amazed. My AHI has gone down to 1!!! My sleep apnea is gone because of them! This is the ONLY place you should be going to take care of your sleep apnea.

Absolutely the worst and most unprofessional place I have been to. I would be deathly afraid to trust them with my body.

This place is probably the worst medical experience I’ve had. Pushing their cobbled together appliance is their objective. $ 5000.00 later and the total package is in the bottom drawer.
