Been trying for two months to make a follow up appointment and nothing.

I was referred to Dr. Boone for surgery in my lower abdomen. He’s a great doctor. Whatever he did to me has completely taken away my pain. I’m so grateful. Yes the wait here can sometimes be longer than you’d like but the service from this doctor is amazing and worth it. Best in the country... probably the world. Dr. Higa is a world class surgeon and Im thankful that hes in our community. Ive lost 95 pounds since my surgery and have gone down 4-5 dress sizes (depending upon the retailer). Its not the easy way out, by any means, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

These people are amazing! They are so compassionate. And so helpful. I dont understand the negative reviews about them not answering phones. Um, this office gets 100s of calls a day and patients needing constant attention to make sure they are getting the care they need to survive. They are so good at what they do that they are in very high demand! And Dr. Higa is the only doctor on staff who specializes in revisions. So lets be real... you shouldnt complain if it takes a bit for them to get back to you. Leave a message! They will call you back. Quality care.... is never easy or quick! Think about it! All I know is that because of this office, I am back on track, and they saved my life. I highly recommend them!

I like these doctors very much. They have done several surgeries on me. I have had great recoveries because of the procedures they use. I love that I had the weight loss surgery. it has been over 15 years and Im still thin. I can eat small amounts of anything i want. Its like Weight Watchers free day every day. i dont count calories. Ive actually quit stepping on the scales every time i go by it. For me that surgery was perfect. i do know people who gained the weight back. The one lady I know who regained the weight, didnt cook, she bought fast food. She married the man of her dreams, who was fit and trim. He got fat just like her! Could it be fast food? I dont know why she didnt keep it off and I did. She also had a different doctor. Dr.Higa did my bypass surgery. I dont have the answer.

This office has little to zero compassion. My mom recently had her colon re- sectioned by Dr. Higa in 6 places and 3 days later her husband died. Needless to say, her recover has been slow. Although it has been a month post-op she is still is in severe pain and cannot do much for herself. She cannot make meals for herself or move around efficiently. I accompanied her to an appointment today and requested that they sign my family medical leave form so that I can ensure my mom gets the proper recovery care and they refused to sign. Post-op recovery time varies patient to patient and vital to the patients post-op care. Apparently, A.L.S.A has no regard for their patients post- op care. This place failed to help. Its sad that a professional medical office like A.L.S.A would let their patient go without proper post-op home care.

Dr. Swartz was very personable, however the lady that does their scheduling has poor manners, is rude, does sloppy office work and just cost ALSA 2 clients costing them a $30,000 loss. Hope it was worth her being rude!

Ive been calling them for over a month now to schedule my uncle in for an appointment but their scheduler Gen never answers the phone and never responds to voicemail. How do they have any business if no one can reach them?
