This clinic is amazing! I have been going here for approximately 10 years. The staff is friendly and attentive. Dr. Kothmann is the best! I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I am so happy to have Lisa Kott and Deltima as my care providers. I get the best professional help from them and am doing very well because of their care.

One of the worst clinics in town. Gave my parents the wrong tests. And didn’t even call in to the hospital to have my mother who has COPD get checked for covid so we had to rush her to the ER in San Antonio. They still have not called us back after us leaving numerous messages to tell her doctor she did test positive for covid and we need strong steroids and a z pac to help her with her breathing and to prevent her from getting an infection! This clinic doesn’t care!! Don’t go here!!

Have had 3 bad experiences. I miss diagnosis with a stomach ache which I had to go back to emergency room. I had to go right away to open heart surgery. Quad bypass! They had me down for a ulcer problem suspected.their receptionist is not prudent in returning phone calls. Called today and told it was 11:00 am they close at 12:00. Like I was bothering them.Pretty disappointed. told them top take me off their patient list..

You can wait in your car or in their large waiting area inside in keeping with safety guidelines. Staff is pleasant and efficient. The physicians I have seen are top notch.

I have been going to this clinic for about four years now. I have always been treated with dignity and respect. They are as good or better than other civilian clinics I have gone to at ensuring that I am seen as close as possible to the time of my appointment.They have also been very timely on processing referrals when I need to be seen by a specialist. The main reason I came to this clinic was that the previous one I used could not seem to be able to process any referrals.I also appreciate that they dont always just stop at what I came in for. Dr Daley makes sure that I am informed about vaccines, or new procedures that are of great benefit to the medicare age folks.All in all, it is almost like the ones who have posted one star reviews have been going to a different clinic than I go to.

Joan Knox-Wilton here. I have all praises for the competent doctors, nurses and staff at this Clinic. After living in Houston and Austin for many years, it is refreshing for me to have my doctor and nurses remember me. ( Like when I grew up in a small town ). I wholeheartedly give 5 Stars to this Clinic. It’s just the few angry ones that post and all of us that are very happy neglect to respond. My review matched some of the others. After being a patient for nearly fifteen years, I finally quit this clinic. In the past few years, they have gotten rid of their once competent staff both medical and administrative. This in order to cut costs and improve profits? Now they are evidently hiring from the bottom of the labor pool. If theyre fortunate to hire a competent person, they soon leave for better pay elsewhere.Calling for any type of care is like calling your credit card or cable company. If their phone system happens to be working, youre given choice of numbers to choose from, press 1 for...etc. Once youve done that dont expect to speak with a human being. Youll be requested to leave a message. If youre lucky, youll get a call back in a few hours. Hopefully youll be close to your phone. If not youll wind up playing phone tag. If you initially needed immediate help, too bad.Their on-line tracking and personal patient info system is a joke. Its a national program but is not maintained at the clinic by competent staff.Their goal of cutting costs to increase profits has cost them at least one patient. Very little goes smoothly there anymore..

Love my doctor at this clinic also the front desk and lab teams were also very good and respectful however the clinical team since the day I called to make an appointment has been rude, disrespectful and uncaring.

Great Clinic! The staff is informative, understanding, and polite. Dr. Kothmann is wonderful with my son and his nurse Sandra was so helpful and funny! As a whole, this Clinic is fantastic & i definitely recommend it!

The front desk are rude!!! I have called several times now to schedule a appointment and I believe I have talked to the same lady each time I have called, very UnProfessional, rude and unhelpful. And to make matters worse she just slams the phone when she hangs up. Very bad experience, They definitely have to fix that

Usually have a really good experience at my dr office. Everyone is almost always polite,caring and professional. My first time to ever encounter anyone being anything other than that was today. Isabel at the front window was very put out about us asking questions on a medical release form (the form was confusing to begin with). It seemed to really tick her off when we were asking her to see if it would be ready by Thursday afternoon! I dont appreciate being treated rudely.

Great care. 5/5I called first and learned I could print off their new patient forms ar home. Which is a super big help because I have 3 young boys. I filled out the forms and dropped them off at the clinic and was in and out in probably 5 min after waiting in line.I got a call the next day (Wednesday) scheduling my appointment for the following day (Thursday) at 2:00pm. We showed up about 5 min early and the kids played in the little walled off area for children. We didn’t have to wait long and were in the back at 2:05 pm. The nurse Delimar and nurse practitioner Lisa were great with my kids and made them feel at ease and cared for. We waited for them to get the shots and the kids and I were out shortly after.I know that the clinic only has a 2 star rating on google and that made me apprehensive. But, my experience with them was top notch and nothing short of 5 stars. I definitely recommend this clinic.

The front desk person is quite unfriendly. If you have a balance on your account, even if its just $7.00, they make you pay before you see the doctor. They make you feel like youre a deadbeat. Used to, for labwork, it was first come, first served. Thats fair. Now you have to have an appointment and if you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time, they remind you that youre early and will have to wait. What? They should just put a sign up at the front door that says To save us time, please back in so that we may remove your wallet without having to see your face. My doctor is good, but the clinic as a whole almost cant be bothered with you.

The front office staff is absolutely rude , condescending. Have this superiority attitude that instead of them serving us ,they are doing the customer a favor. How do you stay in business,and continue

Dr Kothmann is an amazing physician, but the office staff and nurses here are a downright nightmare to deal with in recent years. If it wasn’t for him I’d have stopped going here years ago. When I started going to this practice over 10 years ago I was met with smiling faces and compassion, sometimes even a laugh ! Now the people at the front desk can’t be bothered to be even remotely pleasant that you’re there, the billing department acts like loan sharks demanding a made up amount of money before you can see a doctor - even if you have insurance.It’s okay with them if they demand double what is actually due because they’ll refund you at some point - no biggie to them ! When asked why they did this to me and why out of the five physicians I’ve seen this year that Fredericksburg Clinic is the only one that demands an amount DOUBLE what my copay actually is and can’t tell me why I got an “I don’t know but we will send you a check if there’s overpayment” again.I’ve had the office print out my WIFES bills with medical information on them and put my MOMS name on it and mail it to her at a completely different address ? and they keep doing for MONTHS after being notified. To this HIPPA violation they said “oh, whoops must’ve been because of the same last name” Plenty of people in this town have the same last name that doesn’t mean you can send their medical information wherever you please.Again, Dr.Kothmann is the most amazing physician I’ve ever had in my life and there is not one area as a physician that he doesn’t absolutely EXCEL in, but battling the crowd of women with horrible attitudes in the front half of the office just to get to my visit with him has gotten beyond frustrating, exhausting and discouraging. I hope they care enough to make some changes but after years of waiting for that to happen already, I think the best approach now is just to warn the public because the office clearly doesn’t care.

Wow, looks like my favorite clinic needs a boost! Never a problem, everyone polite, really like Dr. Johnson and his staff, a big notch above what I had been used to in Kerrville.
