If there would be a zero star option I’d select it in a heartbeat, horrible experience this past weekend, how could I stay at this practice when there is no more trust to address any of my concerns. Ethics is a matter of concern and as well as treatment of a patient. Go elsewhere if you can I highly recommend Dr. Joshua washer who’s in culpeper. Definitely worth the small drive.

Dr. Washer is simply, hands down, one of the very best healthcare providers my grandmother has ever had. His bedside manner is beyond that of most I have ever encountered personally or professionally. He always explains procedures and treatment plans to my grandma in ways she can understand and is patient when her comprehension may not be at its peak. He respectfully includes me in and acknowledges the role I play in her medical care, but always addresses my grandmother directly which, though she doesnt say it, I know makes her feel empowered and valued. Something often forgot in our profession when providing care to older generations who rely on their children/grandchildren in their later years, when we can give back just a very small portion of what they have given us their whole lives.A+ for Dr. Washer and his amazing staff!!! Bc of course, amazing Dr.s have steller nurses!Thank you for all that you do. You are greatly appreciated!Crystal & Joanne

Dr Bagla is a very experienced surgeon in the field of benign prostate enlargement. But what makes him an oustanding surgeon is his diligence in the preparation of the patient before the procedure, during the procedure where he demonstrates his superb skills as a surgeon that makes this procedure look so easy, and after the procedure where I was fine after 2 hours although I had to follow post-procedure instructions just for my well being.Im from NY city and here we have doctors that do this kind of procedure, but I read so many reviews about this doctor and let me add this , they were not mistaken hes a very very skilled surgeon. I didnt feel any discomfort at all after the procedure. But every case is different and you have to explain in detail was it is your problem and ask questions because the beauty of this is, he is a very accessible doctor and will absolve any questions you have.I hope this will help anyone

They have you fill out 25 forms upon arrival. I think the most important being my history and reason for coming in. The doctor didnt read it, asked me questions that were on the form. I had to ask during the consult if my parents heart disease and my grandfathers strokes would matter. (When I see a new doctor, im used to them or their nurse verbally reviewing the health history.) I asked for a copy of my paperwork at the end my appointment and no staff member had signed it. When I asked why the health history wasnt signed, the person at the front desk said it didnt mean anything, she could have signed it, but usually it is the nurse who signs it after they they put in the information. I thought wow, I just had a very expensive appointment and the health history didnt matter to the nurse, the front desk and a doctor.Final diagnosis: sonogram technicians can be very experienced but I pay to have a doctor review results. The technician said she didnt see anything but she was going to go tell the doctor we were done and wed go up front to our original consult chair where the doc would come talk with me. She came back into the sonogram room and we started to get me up, no sooner did the doctor come in and say he saw nothing. The time between the rech leaving and the doc coming into the sonogram room was a total of two minutes. He didnt review anything. Furthermore, when I got the final report on the diagnostic, it was two sentences long. Unreal.

I was sent to the Institute because I was having a lot of arm pain I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder and because I was a diabetic and they did not want to do major surgery on my arm because of the recovery would be too long so I was sent to the Institute where they did a pain block the success rate was well I had doctor bagla he was amazing his staff was amazing the surgery went well back to my normal activity in my right arm now Im going back to have the same procedure done on my left arm if you have been recommended to the vascular institute of Virginia they are very good they take care of you they talk to you explain everything word for word the procedure took bout hour an half an a hour for recovery an I was on my way home that night an next day I had a little pain an discomfort afterwards but it didnt last but two days with having pain meds an my recovery time was only a week but If I had major surgery it would have been 6 to 12 weeks so Im glad that my doctor sent me to them I recommend them my pain was a 10 when I started now Im at a comfortable 4 that because I still need Physical Therapy for range of motion so if youre considering having a procedure done I recommend it Im so glad that I did it I just hate that I had to wait 7 months before a doctor finally figured out what it was when they did they sent me right to the Institute and they fixed me right on up I love them I love dr. Bagla and I love his staff theyre awesome they call and check on you text you and they make sure that they do what they can to make you comfortable and make the procedure very easy and comforting so I do recommend them I didnt have to pay for anything they pay for it for everything they paid for my procedure any x-rays or MRIs that I had to have only thing that they dont pay for is your blood work but your insurance will cover that so yes I give them a five out of five!!!

This place is absolutely wonderful, great doctors and top notch knowledgeable staff. Im a Dialysis patient that was there for a routine declot. First of all, I hate the procedure, but the nurses did their best to calm my fears. Dr. Yu went out of his way to make me comfortable, even giving me a little more sleepy medicine. Afterwards due to no fault of their own, when it seemed that my body was having an adverse reaction to the medicine. Dr. Yu and the nurses snapped quickly to action to get whatever was happening to me under control. They were great and I felt perfectly safe in their hands. Words cant describe how safe I felt in their care. Bravo Dr. Yu and too all of your nurses. As much as I hate the actual procedure, if I ever had to have anything of the sort ever done again. Id be more than satisfied to place my life in the hands of these wonderful people!!!! The entire operation from the young lady greeting you at the desk, to the young man handling discharge instructions and follow up appointments, are five star second to NONE!! CONGRATULATIONS.
