I’ve been to several dentists over the last 20years. This place is Golden! From start to finish they were EXCELLENT! Any issue I had they took care of it the same day. All I had to do was call and they got me right in. No long waits. I can’t say enough about the Coliseum location. Great people. Quick and easy every time. I would and will recommend Aspen dental to anyone and everyone! EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!

The nurse who helped me get settled eased me into the process of getting my wisdom teeth removed. He made sure I was comfortable and not too anxious. The surgeon was a very nice man too. The procedure was done so quickly, my mom almost didnt have time to move the car. Im even writing this review only 7 hours are my procedure!

Every experience at Aspen has been a great one and that is difficult to say sometimes about a dentist, but everyone there is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They explain everything thoroughly and include any costs that you will encounter. Knowing the cost is always a big deal unfortunately to our pocketbook, but Aspen always does their best not to sting you quite so bad with the price. Hopefully, one day soon we will live in a world where price is never mentioned and I am sure Aspen will be leading that day.

Aspen Dental is located on Coliseum Blvd between World Nail Salon and AT&T. WARNING: This company does not accept Medicaid at all. The scheduler was nice and mostly professional however when she asked me about my insurance information, she did not explain that Aspen Dental did not accept Medicaid. Upon arrival is when this was made clear. Be careful, if you have Humana as a primary and Medicaid as a secondary you will be responsible for any balances. This factual information came from the person that handles the billing at ASPEN. I do believe that the scheduler was misleading and I know the billing person is where I should have started. If you are like me and on the above mentioned programs, dont waste your time with ASPEN DENTAL because ultimately I feel they really dont care about you or yours, theyre only interested in making money (and thats all good).

Went in yesterday for an emergency appointment , called at 1:30 pmwas able to be scheduled for a 2:30 pm, went in at 2pm and was seen and finished by 2:30pm. The doctor was awesome and straightforward and the staff along with check in lady were great and wentabpve and beyond. Honestly my fear of going to the dentist is no more and o cant wait to go back!!! A++

My first visit/consult was fine. I told scheduling, assistant, everyone who would listen that I have high dental anxiety & only wanted a specific issue treated. Dentist who checked things out was understanding, but I needed a complicated tooth removal. Had to schedule for when a specialist was in. Asked scheduling about anxiety meds or something, and they said they don’t do that, but they can do sedation. Great. Book me. They did not book me for sedation. I found out I wasn’t getting it while I cried while they numbed me. They said sedation is an option. YEAH, I told them That’s what I had wanted & they said since I didn’t book for it & would have to come back if I wanted it, but since I “got through” numbing & “nobody likes the dentist” it should be fine. NO. I thought I had booked for it & I was already crying. They don’t even do nitrous/gas or anything. Idc that I’m an adult, I am scared of the dentist & this isn’t the one for me.

I had a very positive first visit to Aspen Dental. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful through the whole process. They accepted Delta Dental insurance and the overall cost of my prescribed procedures were relatively low. I look forward to more positive experiences with this health care provider.

Best dentist experience I have ever had, especially as a new patient. The customer service of the kind staff members and doctor are out of this world. As a college student who is doing all of this “adulting” on my own, I am proud to call aspen my home.

Both my husband and I had appointment set up and they did an excellent job with our cleaning and explaining their suggestions for our oral health. The wait time wasnt ideal but it is understandable since they thoroughly clean all their surfaces between visits due to the covid. All the nurses, doctor and hygienist were so friendly! These stars are well deserved! Thank you for a great first visit.

Erica and Dr Floyd were quick and efficient in addressing my needs. Ericas enthusiasm was much appreciated as I don’t do well with X-rays. The lovely lady who helped me go over pricing ( I can’t remember her name but she’s the princess of the office ;) ) was super sweet and explained pricing very well and made feel comfortable even with me being a little emotional and sad due to pricing being a little shocking I will admit, but without having dental insurance, it’s to be expected at the same time. I do want to come back when I have better affordability because the staff as a whole was friendly, efficient and made me feel cared for.

Went in desperate with a top plate split in two.Greeted at 10am by smiles. Examined and given prof essional opinion I was comfortable with. Have no idea how they do it but at 4pm my broken plate was new again and after two weeks Im still smiling and eating anything.

I like that it was not a long wait. but at the same time my visit was very impersonal. Once they were done telling me what I needed, they put all the fees together which was overwhelmeing for me. They were nice tho

The experience in the office with the doctors and staff were superb however the day after surgery I called the answering service 6 times with no response from the doctor. I had been up since 2am with pain. This is medical negligence. It’s a good thing I was not bleeding to death. This is unacceptable behavior from medical professionals.

Everyone was polite , friendly and very understanding. I accidentally went to the wrong dental office and had a small panic attack as I am direction challenged. The person on the phone politely and patiently talked me out of my attack and had me @ my destination in no time. The staff all were very social distance aware and all had on their PPE. Everything was well explained to me from start to finish. My experience was a 5 star 🌟 journey.

Its very nice, clean and friendly. But very disappointing when you find out you need $2500 in dental work. ($2500 i dont have) They cant help with finance aid or anything. My credit isnt good enough to finance. But they dont take payments & almost scare you into getting the work done ASAP. Trust me, Id love to! They just got my hopes up, let down, disappointed & scared.

The only thing is I wish that they offered more financial options for those that dont qualify for the 2 financial assistance options they do have. Highly Disappointed. Before scheduling my appointment to remove my wisdom teeth I was given my cost and had to pay right then and there to get it scheduled. Thats the cost I was told I owed. A month later and here I have a $500 bill that somehow is no longer covered by insurance and I must pay it. How are you off by $500, thats not what I agreed to. DO NOT GO HERE. Theyre after your money and that is it. They will screw you over.

I went twice now to Aspen on Coldwater in Ft. Wayne Indiana for a tooth extraction. The staff was so helpful and The Doctor was great. Had wisdom tooth pulled and I went back to work the next day

Very welcoming everyone was very nice. I will be bringing my whole family here. They explained ever thing to me step by step.

They took very good care of me, I went there with 3 teeth all together in bad shape and was in horrible pain,it took me 10 days to be able to have them removed and in that time they took care to make me comfortable, when they were taken out they did an amazing job! I returned to have the scaling done, all the people were kind and caring to how I was doing during my visits!

Office staff was great. On final visit I didnt see a dentist only the lab technician who gave me absolutely NO education on how to wear or care for my bottom denture. I wasnt even given a container to put these in. Youd think spending several thousand dollars youd at least get a container. Im very disappointed. Ive had several sore spots since initially getting the bottom dentures, and now Im having a hard time getting through to have an appointment to have them fixed.

UPDATE: A day after posting this review, a member of the Aspen Dental Patient Satisfaction Team contacted me to advise that my bill was adjusted to reflect the insurance negotiated rate for my procedure. As I had already paid that portion of the received bill, my balance is now zero. Thank you Aspen Dental for taking this action to ensure my satisfaction.3/24/2020 - BEWARE OF THEIR INSURANCE ESTIMATES. It is my belief that the Coliseum Office staff either does not put much effort into determining what your insurance will actually cover or they dont confirm at all in an effort to get your business. After repeating work already performed by a referring dentist, they quote you your cost after insurance for the work you actually went there in the first place to get and want your patient responsibility payment in full before scheduling the procedure(s). At this point, you have no opportunity to confirm what they researched with your insurance company and blindly pay assuming they did an accurate investigation. Only after you get an unexpected bill from Aspen do you realize your insurance did not cover one of the procedure codes they estimated it would. Aspen then expects you to pay their full price fee ($892.00) rather than the insurance negotiated amount ($366.00) they expected to receive when accepting you as a patient. I called the office requesting that my bill be adjusted to reflect the insurance negotiated rate vice the full rate thinking I was being fair about the situation...I would pay more than I was quoted even though they made the error due to improper (or lack of) research. Instead, I was told the surgeon would not allow that, as he is not an Aspen empoyee, and I must pay the full rate. BE SURE TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH WITH YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY BEFORE PAYING ASPEN ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE OF A PROCDURE. I gave two stars because the dental work was done correctly.

We just recently moved to the area and needed to find a dentist. We an excellent first visit with Aspen. They laid out a easy to understand plan of care, appointments needed and pricing. Excellent place to go, and I, actually, look forward to going back to the dentist. 😊

Id say Aspen Dental at Glenbrook, Fort Wayne is doing a good job of coping with the social distancing situation. There was a little issue with the computers, so it took longer than usual to bring up my records, but they had a TV installed in front of the dentists chair, so it was no big deal. My insurance company seems to be communicating with Aspen Dental properly, so I didnt have to make any additional phone calls or send any emails after the appointment.The hygienist and dentist were both polite and professional. They got the job done. Overall, my appointment took less time than I had budgeted for it.

Im usually really happy with Aspen Dental, but they are less than to be desired as of late. Im really frustrated with confirming my appointments and a certain dentist, but he doesnt seem to be there anymore. Other than that, I wont go to any other dentist.

They did a phenomenal job. I have a real fear of dentists from past experiences but and issue forced me to find a dentist to go to. These guys were great! My only issue was that no one took the time to talk to me a little bit and find more about my history or about any other issues. That was the ONLY thing my old dentist had over aspen. He sat down for a bit and talked with you and gave you a chance to share anything you needed to before starting. Other than that, these guys did great!

Our dog ate my husbands upper denture. We needed a replacement one quick. The staff went out of their way to do it as fast as humanly possible. They were very professional and very nice too. We are new to the area and it was great to find a dental office that was so accommodating. We will definitely be going back for future dental issues.

Original appointment scheduled for January, office decided to close that day so rescheduled for 03.16.2021, confirmed the appointment on 03.12.2021. Show up, and my appointment was bumped with no notice. I have a busy schedule, and it would be another 6 weeks to get a time slot that works. What a joke this office is!

Poor communication.I did try to call you, and even then the communication got worse.

Really like the staff. Im terrified of the dentist and they are always kind and patient. The Dentist is funny and keeps me distracted so my anxiety isnt through the roof.

It was good to finally get a dentist to help me smile again

Im downgrading my previous rating because of my recent experience. I have my dentures, but as my gums have been healing Ive been having a problem. The back of my bottom dentures are literally cutting into my flesh when I put them in and leave painful open gaping wounds when I take them out. I tried using them only for eating, but I cant get them in the next day because of the pain. Im really afraid the wounds will get infected, but they cant get me in for almost two weeks. Yet Ive seen them take walk-in patients for adjustments before. This is definitely not how I thought this experience would play out. Very disappointing because they really made it seem like they cared. The person who did my adjustment even told me to call right away if I had any problems. They didnt even try to get me into a different location. They lost another star from me. I paid the estimated price before my procedure. The next time I went in they said I owed 14 more dollars that insurance didnt cover, and that was it. I went in a couple months later and they said I owed almost 700 more dollars! This is four months later and after I was assured that the 14 dollars was all I owed. Felt like a major bait and switch.

I was referred by my dentist an when I showed up thinking I was to have a couple of teeth pulled that day, instead it was about paperwork an having the ability to pay. I drove an hour to have the procedure. I felt that all could have been done over the phone an saved me a two hour round trip.The doctor took an xray to have a second opinion on weather or not to pull them but again that could of been done the day of extraction. Everyone was very friendly. This virus thing has bexome such a pain also but we all jus need to be patient.

Clean place came here for a consultation only because it was the closest in network with my insurance however never been to this place and the only decent contact I had was with the receptionist. The Dental assistant and Dr were not very welcoming I.E my name was called and it was dead silent as she took me to get a pano I however began talking as I was trying to make myself comfortable. I was here for a consultation for an upcoming extraction. I let the experience with the dental assistant go as she started to warm up a bit after I initiated communication until I was lying down waiting for the Dr to come in. He basically just came in put on gloves and approached me so I opened my mouth so he can do his thing but again no hello, intro nothing which I find extremely awkward. In conclusion maybe their morning coffee didnt hit yet?

I scheduled an appointment with Aspen Dental and they got me in and out quick. They took my X-rays as a new patient and then gave me the run down of what was going on all up in there. I really enjoyed my experience. They were super understanding with scheduling and payments. First visit was not long at all. I will be recommending to friends and family!

Always a good experience! My facility on Coluseum - Staff & doctor are great! Efficient in working with insurance gaining accurate estimates / pre- determinations to ensure your out of pocket is correct. Dental work is no ones fave but my Aspen Dental makes it awesome!

Made an appt. on 6-15-20 to have a tooth (incisor) extracted. Made it clear over the phone that I wanted it done in one visit. Told me they would have to do an exam first. No problem. I came in and after telling them who I was and what I was there for was told by the receptionist that they would do x-rays and an exam and then set up a new appt. for the extraction. I repeated to the receptionist what I had told them earlier when I set up my appt. I wanted the tooth pulled in one visit and I was also interested in discussing getting lower dentures at another time. The receptionist said they normally set up a different day for the actual extraction, I guess to charge for another office visit, but I stated I wanted it all done at one time in one visit. She acknowledged what I said and we moved on to my filling out the paperwork. I was taken then to have a bitewing x-ray taken of the tooth and then to another room to await the dentist. The dentist went over the procedure to removing the tooth, not a problem he stated, and then went over what would be necessary for getting a lower denture (with implants to secure it to the jawbone to avoid the floating so common with lower dentures) and the removal of my existing teeth in my lower jaw (a total of about 7 or 8 teeth). After we were through with our discussion, he (the dentist) literally danced me down the hall to the person in charge of providing estimates of the cost involved for both procedures (individually). The cost for removing one tooth (incisor) with my minimal insurance coverage was $437! My out of pocket would be $250+. The cost for making my lower denture (again with my minimal insurance coverage) was $19,012!!!! And this is my out of pocket cost for just half a set of dentures!! I was flabbergasted and left the office without having a thing done! Aspen Dental is out to fleece the public! I was incredulous then and still am as I write this review! And I use to think AFDENT was bad. I think theyve joined forces. Blah!

Olivia was awesome super helpful with payment options. The X-ray lady( sorry don’t remember your name) super amazing helped keep my kids calm while I got work done! Will definitely use this one again!

Friendly, great dentist, bright and clean facility. The only reason I didn’t give a 4 or 5 star rating is because they kept adding on services and trying to sell up beyond what my insurance covered. If I hadn’t said no to all the add-ons a $130.00 procedure would have cost $380.00.

Awesome 👍. I knew my own situation was going to be complex. They did not send me anywhere else and truly listened to my concerns and why I dont like to be out in public. They also understood my quirky humor and laughed with me not at me. Charlotte is in a better place now...😏

Aspen is wonderful! Their very caring.

Their entire staff was awesome. They were courteous, friendly, and professional. They performed the most detailed exam of my entire mouth, not just the problem tooth, and explained it all. The best part was that because it was my first visit the exam cost nothing, and they werent pushy to try to sell me anything.

Staff very friendly. Everything went quickly and smoothly my 1st visit, although they were very busy. The only thing I didnt like was they lumped quite a few services together for an estimate of what the procedure I require would cost and told me everything included in that estimate after I said I couldnt afford it.

Would not recommend. failed root canal due to Dr. Not cleaning out the entire root. Felt like a number with this corporation. Just rushed in, pressured into making quick decisions and felt like my concerns weren’t addressed. Go to a family dentistry!An update: at another dentist, I have to have work re done, they shaved away my good teeth to fit a crown instead of fitting the crown by making it smaller? Does that make sense? So now I’m paying for a new crown! And fillings to fix the teeth Aspen compromised! Horrible!

This was the only decent visit I had in the last 7 months and only with only the Dental Assistant today. I’d only give her 5 stars but not the rest off the staff at this office! My past experience was just horrific!The staff in this office are all so unprofessional and just rude!The first visit the girl doing financial advice was lazy and would not call my insurance to confirm what they’d cover unless I told her I was 100% sure I was going to get the work done because it was “too much trouble.”I had to have my dental work redone because it didn’t fit the first time, had to take multiple days off work only to be sent away because a different dentist didn’t want to deal with the mess! This dentist came in the room wearing a sweat suit and big red gym shoes, he looked so unprofessional.I will NEVER have major dental work done at this office ever again!Overall, it was the worse experience ever!!!

My husband got 5 fillings and he only knew about four. Went in for a check up with no pain, after the fillings he can barely eat. He went back for a cleaning after all that and they didnt notice anythingWent to another dentist and they said there were air bubbles in two of them and one filling was completely chipped. Now he has to redo the three of them.I never leave reviews but this is wild

I believe the crown implant was improperly made, feels like it has to much material in rear or back of tooth compared to the other side same natural tooth, it feels large in my mouth when my tongue rolls across it. I explained this to Dentist and to the Technician, but was told get use to it for a few weeks and let us know!

The best people work there sooo kind and professional. I love this place.

I had to go in and get all my top teeth pulled and get dentures. At 25 years old I was very nervous and scared to be receiving dentures. However they were all very nice, helpful and reassuring. They made this whole process more comfortable for me and made sure I understood everything that was going on. Every question Ive had theyve answered it. Only thing that I didnt understand was I was told to keep my denture in 24/7 for the first two weeks, taking them out 2-4 times a day to clean them. I did that but when I went back in two weeks later for my adjustment I was told that I should have been taking them out every night (my hygienist at my two week appointment was from an aspen dental for a different town. She was filling in). But to me thats not a big deal. Differences of opinion or just how two different people have been taught how to do things. Over all Ive loved going there. Im not so upset about having dentures. Theyve made this whole process so much easier for me.

I was in so much pain, and I sat in a chair for at least half an hour, while an assistant was in the room with me. She didn’t talk to me other than to ask me a question here and there. She just sat there. It was more awkward than making small talk with someone. Then closer to the end, she got up and just started walking up and down the hall. When the doctor finally came in, he started talking to me about the tooth that wasn’t even bothering me. Not quite sure that wouldn’t have been in my chart. Then he told me I need to have teeth removed and sent me on my way pretty much. I was in pain over the weekend so bad. I even called the emergency line at one point. I still haven’t even gotten a returned call from them, and that was two days ago. Not very happy with them. Actually looking up other places to do the oral surgery on me at the moment.

The staff at this Aspen Dental is very professional. I was provided a prompt and thorough evaluation. I appreciate the staffs willingness to explain each step of the process in vocabulary that I could comprehend. They provided excellent examples to improve my oral care. I highly recommend making an appointment at this location for dental care.

Okay. I don’t know which location it is that kept doing this, so I’m writing in both of them. My boyfriend had his appointment canceled TWICE by these people because they kept scheduling him on Saturday when in fact, they’re not even open to begin with. So now he’s in tremendous pain and I don’t think it’s fair, let alone professional to do that to someone who needs your services. So with that being said, he will never try to schedule an appointment here again, since they never know what they’re doing.

First appointment to consult for a dental implant. The dentist seemed nice enough, but didnt even look in my mouth. Was given a pile of consent papers to bring back for the surgery, but many of them said I was supposed to agree the dentist had informed me about several aspects of the procedure he had said nothing about. Office somewhat run-down--for the number of patients coming to them, they should be making enough money for the office to be very sharp.

The Aspen Dental team of Fort Wayne were very professional and friendly. I felt completely at ease. They were able to see me quickly and very willing to help with insurance and payment questions. Dr Jan Slapnicka performed my wisdom teeth removal and did an excellent job. I would refer people to them and go back there myself.

Very bad experience. we came to Aspen Dental because it was In-Network for our Insurance for Oral surgery for my son prior to getting braces put on. We were referred by the Orthodontist from another practice. Aspen Fort Wayne took x-rays again of my sons teeth (which Ortho already did). We had to talk to a general dentist so the dentist could record what the problem is and reportr to the oral surgeon. We were then scheduled (4 weeks after visit in Fort Wayne) for an Oral Surgery with the surgeon in Angola. You would think that within that 4 weeks Aspen FW would have communicated to Aspen Angola what needed to be done on the surgery. NO! The oral surgeon did not even know what needed to be done. He knew about it only on the day of the surgery and only because I asked him to please explain to me the procedure that he was going to do. Oh, by the way, we had to WAIT a long time for all this to be done (Angola had to call FW clinic). So very poor coordination between clinics. WHY do they have to take x-rays every time they see us? Are these x-rays not shared between dentists. Looks like a milking money machine for these procedures that are repeatedly being done. I had to take a day off and my son had to be absent from school for the planned procedure. It didnt happen. Oral surgeon said better ask for a 2nd opinion. I am reporting this also to our insurance company so that they are aware of the poor service from this provider.

Recently relocated to Fort Wayne my plan was to have Aspen pick up where Apsen-Ga. left off and just like I was amazed at the service there, I was amazed at the service here. I am impressed with the company as a whole for being on such one accord and organized that it didnt matter I began in GA. They were able to access my records as if I had spent my whole life with this particular location. Zanzy and Angela were very personable and friendly people. They were extremely thorough and careful. Their smiles and conversations were genuine. The fact that they took the time out to relate to me made me feel more comfortable and eliminated any anxiety I had. Then in came Dr. Ratliff who made me feel like hes been taking care of my teeth since there debut. His presence alone was calming and inviting. He had none of that doctor standoffish feel! He asked all the right questions to gain understanding of my goals and then jumped right in to devising a plan to make that happen! I will have a new smile in a matter of months and I cant think of a better team of people to help make a life long dream come true! Would I recommend Aspen Dental to friends, family, and other prospects??? Absolutely!

Called today to make an appt for a broken tooth...staff member was very rude telling me since I wasnt a NEW patient I have to wait til October 7th ...for a half broken tooth ? They just lost a patient ! P.s. looks like all the bad reviews get no replies or answers ..smh

Rude and mean dentist the hygienist was super nice and friendly the dentist however was horrible i told him i could feel it still i was getting extractions and he told me i couldnt feel it!?! Then i told him i couldnt do it anymore and he said and i quote you dont run things here! Worst experience of my life please please dont go there unless you want to be traumatized
