Ive been seeing this doctor since 2011 and I am absolutely happy with him. I was not sure how I would feel about having a male OBGYN DR, but it turned out to be the best decision I have ever made. I even referred my sister to him and she loves him too. I wanted a doctor that you could build a trusting relationship with and I didnt want to go to an office (practice) where you would see 3-4 different doctors during your pregnancy. I wanted ONE doctor that you could trust, feel comfortable with and confide in when needed. He fit all of my needs. He made me feel absolutely comfortable and I could talk to him about anything without feeling weird about it. He was funny and made me laugh a lot and when he needed to be serious, he was. Occasionally, during a check up or routine appointment, I would bring my kids in with me and he would take the time to hold them and visit with them. You can tell he really likes his job.

1st I want to thank Jamie for being there thru my whole procedure she is awesome and Dr. Edward Halpren for EVERYTHING he guided me thru I would recommend this office to anyone that wants good people to take care of them. Again a thank you for EVERYTHING.P.S. also let me add very clean as well

Dr. Halpren has been my OBGYN for almost four years now. I moved from out of state without knowing anyone in the area and after consulting a new coworker she recommended Dr. Halpren who delivered her baby. I traveled 60 miles to his office for two years, continued to see him when I finally made the move to Fort Myers and a year and a half again I made a 30 mile move away again and I continue to see him. I feel very comfortable with everyone in the office. They are warm and welcoming. Dr. Halpren is very personable, takes the time to discuss any issues or concerns you may have and is very proactive. I couldnt be happier with another OBGYN with whom to trust my health and well being.

Do not use this doctor. His office will mess up your lab specimens and billing. For one of my OB visits he was unable to make it. His office failed to call me and I was seen by his medical assistant. She explained the doctor had to go to the hospital and that I would be seeing her that day. She even had the nerve to give me medical advice. Someone with only a high school education and a certification cannot give you medical advice. Now that I switched doctors they are trying to bill me for services when my insurance covers 100%. His office is outdated in their equipment, decor, and practices.

He was not my OB, but he was the one who delivered my son at Healthpark since my OB was not on call that weekend. However, I should say he was the one who was SUPPOSED to deliver my son. The nursing staff kept calling him letting him know how far along I was and Im assuming since it was early morning he did not want to come in. He kept saying to give it a little longer before he came down. Needless to say, he didnt make it in time and the hospitalist OB Dr. Amy Young delivered my son. He got there to do the after process such as stitches, checking the baby, etc. However all he did was complain. I love cleaning up after people... and telling the nursing staff they shouldve called sooner.. when I know that they did try. I never wanted a doctor to leave the room so much. I just gave birth and hes the one complaining. Thankfully my doctor got there and made the experience better. I would never recommend Dr. Halpren, such poor bedside manner.

Ive had Dr Halpren with all 3 of my kids. My first was an emergency csection and had Dr Halpren not done the things needed me and my son wouldnt be here today. He truly saved mine and my sons life and I couldnt be more grateful to him. If you want a Dr who knows what they are doing and can work under pressure then hes the Dr for you :)

Dr Halpren has been the OB GYN for my three daughters since 1995. He has delivered eight of my grandchildren. He is the best in the field. I don’t understand why people here are saying negative things about him and his office because our experience has been totally the opposite. He is a true professional, caring and compassionate. We are now considering using him as the OB GYN to welcome into the world my first great grandchild. I would not go anywhere else and I totally recommend him! Dr. Halpren is the best!

He is absolutely the best gynecologist. He delivered me and he also delivered my baby. He is the reason why she was born alive and healthy. I had a rare condition called vasa previa which could have ended horribly with my baby bleeding to death. He is so fantastic at what he does, that he successfully and safely delivered my baby via c-section. The incision is beautiful and now i can look my daughter in the eyes and realize how lucky I am to have her because of Dr. Halpren. They may not have fancy up to date equipment but he is so experienced and knowledgeable, that they dont need it. I would rather have a Dr. Who knows what they are doing than one who has fancy brand new equipment. Thank you Dr. Halpren for being great at what you do, you saved my daughters life. I am forever greatful for that.

Dr. Halpren and staff are amazing! About to have my 2nd child with them and it has been just as great as the first. Very down to earth people, kind and conciderate! I HIGHLY recommend DR. Halpren!!!

Dr. Halpren is a caring and committed doc. I highly recommend this office for all of your OB/GYN needs.

Horrible experience!! Do yourself a favor and find a compassionate doctor and staff! The medical staff here are horrible which in turn makes the doctor look unprofessional! They are young, inexperienced and rude! I have never received a bill for my annual exam in 14 years, I have had the same insurance as well. I go here for the first time, my previous doctor retired, 😂 and i receive a bill from my annual visit. I call and leave messages several times with no phone call back. The billing personnel are never available, and do not respond back. Marissa in the front supposedly looked into my bill because the lady that does billing is surprisingly not there again. I was told by Marissa that because i spoke with the doctor about my health at my yearly that i was billed extra! WHAT?? Yea, you spoke with the doctor about birth control, and smoking on your annual visit, so we charged more than the $360.00 already billed and paid for talking to the doctor! REALLY, I HAVE NEVER HEARD THIS EXCUSE BEFORE! I go to the doctor and since i spoke with him about my health i was charged more! Unbelievable, and completely unacceptable! When i asked how do you charge extra on an annual for talking to the doctor about birth control, Marissa was very defensive and rude! This doctor should be embarrassed, that his staff makes excuses for extra charges for talking to the doctor. Very unprofessional and uneducated in the medical field. The staff are not registered nurses or qualified staff, just took a course and they call themselves professional medical staff. No where near qaulified to assist in my health, i want experienced and qualified staff to tend to my medical needs, especially if your carrying a baby, stay away from here and get a QUALIFIED practice! Dr. Ebenger is WAY BETTER! And they have qualified staff and billing staff that is always there to help! Just look at Dr. Halprens reviews, billing nightmares from his office! He needs to get qualified and experienced staff!

Extremely helpful and knowledgable...excellent with patients. Would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

The office manager is terrible..the office made an error in the billing and acknowledged they made an error and then said I was still responsible even though it was their mistake. When I asked to talk to the doctor, the office manager refused to let me talk to him to try to resolve the issue.

I have been a patient for 22 years, he delivered my youngest who is now going to him as she is expecting

So i just called this place because i am in a dying emergency i had just miscarried my baby and they said that they wont take me because i am no longer pregnant, which may not be the case i could be caring twins....they turned me down in such a horrible crisis! And had no cares and basically told me to call someone else! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE DO NOT EVER EVER TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!

I wouldnt go to this doctor. Horrible experience.
