The voicemail system is always on and it takes up to several days for someone to call back. If you miss their return call, the phone tag process starts all over again. They have no ability to print estimates for services and take up to 4 days to call with their best guess. Interesting that my Dentist can print an exact insurance quote within 5 minutes while Im sitting in the chair so I can make an informed decision, but the Dermatologist cant. Looking for another provider in network and will only go back if I have no other choice.

The receptionists and assistants were very nice but I will say my experience with one of the doctors there was anything but pleasant. I couldn’t even address my own worries about my skin because they were simply shut down the moment I tried to bring them to light. Appointment took less than 5 minutes. I spent more time in the waiting room filling out paper work than I did actually speaking with the doctor. Only to be given a perscription, and be sent on my way. My issues were not resolved or helped in the slightest.

The doctor who treated me is knowledgeable and compassionate. However, their front desk is very hard to reach. I almost always had to wait because of unusually high call volumes.

Dr. Ecker did a great job. He was courteous, efficient, and persistent in figuring out the cause of my rash. The rest of the staff was also courteous and efficient. The place needs a bike rack!

Id love to give 0 stars. Even with limited patients intake, we waited 45 minutes. Then my daughter went in to see the doctor. From her account: he did not even look at her chart and all info she provided. Did not want to discuss anything. Did not want to answer any questions. Just told he she needs to take the most dangerous drug in the market and thats it. There was no consideration for anything. come back in 3 weeks when you decide to take it Then we received a bill that after insurance was $176 for new patient. This is ridiculous. DO NOT use that office.

I saw Allison and she was lovely. I didnt wait very long and she was thorough and thoughtful and answered all of my questions.

The nurse and Doctor Ecker listened to me. They didnt make assumptions or try to blame my problems on my weight like most other providers have done. It was a very quick and professional appointment. Doctor Ecker explained everything in depth and then patiently answered my questions. The nurse took meticulous notes so I could refer to them later for my treatment. It was overall an amazing experience!

I was so disappointed with this place. It is not equipped to handle the elderly and a wheel chair. They talked to my mother in law as if she was a child and not an older woman with skin issues. They offered no real answers to her issues nor any true help for problems that she has to face every day. I believe that is because they saw her as old and vain (as the doctor actually told her she would have to get over how her skin looked). If she had taken the time to actually talk to my mother in law she would have seen that was not why she went to her in the first place. Go somewhere else if you are older as I feel they are only servicing younger people

I feel that I get personal care when I come into the clinic and that Alison is very knowledgeable. I trust her to let me know if my skin is healthy. I do want to say that I had to remind them to call in my prescription after checking with my pharmacy 2 times. Otherwise great experience. See you next time.

I thought the were knowledgable about the subject and helped to give solutions. The only thing is that they dont answer the front desk phone and havent returned a call I made 3 days ago. It is hard to get in contact with them when I needed help on an issue over the phone. Poor customer service definitely wont have me returning here.

Prior to a procedure to remove a precancerous lesion, Dr. Eckert took the time to thoroughly answer questions about my condition and the progression of various keratoses. Afterward treatment, his medical assistant described various potential conditions in recovery and steps to ameliorate them. I found them both to be receptive and caring in addressing my concerns and condition. I now have a better understanding of the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for any future cancer-related conditions, and have a greater sense of control in how my health care proceeds.

Excellent care. The doctors are extremely competent and very helpful in answering questions and providing good information. All the staff are competent, friendly, and helplful.

Two things that could be improved upon - Pre-visit info such as all hair needs to be off face if that’s the area being treated, also info on after treatment care such as having cortisone cream and the need to stay out if the sun. I wasn’t given this info before I came for the treatment so I was unprepared. Along with that, and maybe it isn’t so common, but I was completely wiped out for 2-3 days afterwards. Sunburns do affect me this way to some extent but nothing like this.Other than those things, everyone was pleasant and professional.

This place isn’t too bad except it’s next to impossible to do anything over the phone. I was seen to start acutane but then I called back to schedule another appointment and the people that answer their phones are not helpful at all. I was told I couldn’t do anything until I paid my bill... which wasn’t true because I had already been seen. They kept insisting I pay copays when my insurance does not have copays. Their staff is just unprofessional, disorganized, and very unhelpful. You can never reach anyone that will help you over the phone. Going somewhere else in Fort Collins.

I love this office and Dr Kornfeld has always been great. Staff is very nice to. Although Ive tried to call the office several times and there was no answer. Then I was told I needed to come back for mohs surgery but never got a call to set it up. 1 week later I called back never got an answer (again) so left a message. They had forgotten to call me . Not very efficient if you ask me. Ty

As I get old and find myself going to various clinics more often, this dermatology office is one of the more pleasant institutions. Dr. Ecker is usually patient and explains things well, and the staff is super friendly and works to get me in to be seen within a few days. (Thats huge when you have skin problems!!) I went to another dermatologist for years who was with another institution and tried Dr. Ecker when she (previous doctor) became unavailable for awhile, but after seeing the difference between the two and how Dr. Ecker takes time to explain anything and everything, it was a no-brainer to switch permanently. I cant testify to all of the Advanced Dermatology team, but I would have no hesitation referring anyone to them.

Impersonal, felt like I was in a medical factory assembly line.Nagging reminders to do this survey. So instead of just keeping quiet, everyone gets to hear my opinion.

They cant give a simple price for getting a prescription refilled

I shouldnt have scheduled on-line. I should have talked to someone. Unfortunately, only a few minutes were spent with my son. I wanted to have a mole on the tip of his nose removed and I have seen videos of laser removal that is very simple and doesnt leave a scar. The doctor dismissed him quickly and told him that the scar would look far worse.

I had a wonderful experience at Fort Collins Skin Clinic. I saw Alison, and she took good care of me. The entire staff made me feel comfortable despite the COVID situation. The office was very clean, and everyone took extra safety precautions.

I went in for a skin check as it has been a few years. The office people were friendly. The nurse and the Doctor were great. They answered my questions and did a thorough exam. They were professional, interested in my well being and they made sure I understood the treatment I received and the treatment they recommended. I give them 5 stars.

I was early for the appt. They welcomed me inside and made sure and my dog waiting in the car were comfotable.The appt started on time and the Dr and MA were excellent. This was my first visitI am fortunate to have such professional and caring medical dermatologist staff.

It is an interesting world we live in right now because of the pandemic. However, the staff took great care in making the patients comfortable. The wait was short, whether you stayed in the waiting room, just outside, or in your car. Dr Ecker was thorough and put me at ease. I will highly recommend this clinic.

My in-office visit was fantastic. They addressed my questions, were kind and were able to address issues that day. I only knocked off a couple stars because I was supposed to receive a call that day, and I did not. I called a few days later and left a message, but that wasnt returned. I called another day later, another message, and still no call back.

The appointment was pretty standard. I was prescribed a bleaching cream for melasma, but they didnt have any cream in the office at that time. I was told they were going to get some by the end of the week and I would receive a phone call. I did not receive a call. I also did not receive a call back after leaving a voicemail. I called two weeks later and they werent sure if they had any if the office and referred me to their other office. When I called that location, they didnt have any either and I was told I should keep calling back to see if they had received any. Poor customer service.

Alison and her assistants are great. I have been coming for years. Alison has found some issues I did not, so I encourage you to go see her.

Awesome service and really friendly staff. Been having an eczema problem on my hand for months, other doctors prescribed me different creams and medications but it only managed to keep it from getting worse. Here, they quickly took proper skin samples and immediately figured out the problem. Within a week of using the prescribed ointment, my hand is clear of any red scars and irritation, I suspect that in another week itll be good as new (just some light, barely visible scars leftover from the more painful and reddish scars).

It took a week to get a response from a concern my son and I had after a procedure. It was too late, we ended up contacting another office that helped with our concern.It was nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone to ask a billing question.We went to a different office for our follow up appointments.

I went in a week ago to get prescribed retina. I called my pharmacy two days later because I never received a text or call saying I had a prescription ready... -the pharmacy never received a prescription from here. I called here several times after that and left several voicemails and have yet to hear back from them.My recommendation: go somewhere else. You should never have to worry about a doctor not following through with your prescription and not getting answered or called back after an appointment.

Staff is friendly and prompt. Alison is great! She is helpful and I feel she is sincere in efforts to help me. I am happy with their services.

Have been going here for almost 5 months still dont know why I have a rash on my face and its still not gone.

I took my son there for his acne treatment. He was definitely a difficult patient. As we were leaving I could clearly hear the Physicians Assistant who was helping us venting to her colleagues about how difficult my son was. I understand her venting to her colleagues but I felt it was very unprofessional for her to do so in earshot of us and everyone in the waiting room. The medical care was fine.

I have had a few times when I needed to have treatment on some skin issues and every time I was treated with great care and felt very relaxed. Allison, Dr. Stevens their assistants and the entire staff are very professional and it has always been a pleasant experience.

I am glad most people had a good experience here, however, I did not. I came to this office due to the wonderful reviews. I can assume the doctors at this location are talented because so, but I had a bad experience! So, I thought Id share.The doctors appointment. I honestly felt that I was in there for two minutes at most and didnt feel that I got any feedback when I asked questions. I felt like I didnt have any piece of mind leaving this place.I went in for a general check up. I spoke with a gal over the phone to help me double check my insurance to make sure the check up would be covered. I took on the responsibility as well to call my insurance to make sure the entire appointment would be covered.I had another two gals at the front desk say I was good to go with zero other costs. I even stayed in the office to make sure. Then I get a bill in the mail for $100 (the amount Im not upset about, its the guaranteed no other costs that bothers me). My guy came in and paid $80 cash. I ended up paying DOUBLE! I would have rather paid cash.Again, its not really the amount that makes me frustrated here. If you dont know for sure billing, please use your words and say I THINK there are no other costs. I get frustrated when people say one thing and its quite the opposite, especially in doctors offices. I know you all want to get paid, but Id rather of you just haves said. pay cash already! Please, just work on stating the truth if not sure.

Doctors Tiffany Link and Samuel Ecker are the best! They are committed to excellent patient care and customer service. This is something you rarely see in healthcare today. Even the appointment schedulers have a We can work around your schedule - what is best for you attitude. Attention to detail and precision in your work are important aspects of dermatological care. Both of these physicians exhibit these attributes. I am very pleased I have found this clinic.

I have full confidence in Fort Collins Plastic Surgery. I had to have a MOHs procedure on the side of my nose (not much fun) and now I am not only cancer free but I cant even see a scar! Great people - great care.

Geez, where to begin. I was referred to this place by my primary care doc. I will be sharing this with her. First, I received sub-standard medical care. Next, the front desk is always stressed and under-staffed. Next, I left a message with the office manager to call back. She never did. I went to the office to get my medical records. They could not get them to me. They said I had to give them notice. I mentioned I called 2 business days before to the office manager, but never got a return call. Reception was then very rude (which is typical at this location). I still have no medical records, even though I showed them my i.d. My records are being held there and I need a procedure done. Oh, and I asked the cost of the procedure, and nobody got back to me on that, and its been a week. Now, I need to contact the state to get my own records. Stay away from this clinic if you value your sanity.

Its nice to know, with the medical field in general going down. There is still a place concerned about patients. Made me feel good and like you people really cared. The surgery went great and is healing perfect. Thanks again and we hope you all have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING .Howard S.

I hate leaving one star but thats what I have to do. I felt the visit was rushed and the doctor I saw really didnt even give me a good look at what I had.. She just said what I have.. if I wanted surgery and walked out. Leaving me wondering who will be calling me as I have received no call since I was there over a week ago for a schedule. We go to the doctors to be reassured and although they may do it countless times over and over its all new to us and I certainly fealt like this was sloppily rushed and handled. I will not be going back and actually going to another Dr. Even though this will cost me of course!

I have been seeing Dr. Stevens at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery every three months for the past year and could not be happier with the care that I have received. I originally went to her for a suspicious growth on my shoulder which turned out to be a melanoma cancer that she removed. She also removed another spot that was a basal cell carcinoma. She has been doing a full skin check when I return to her now and I am fully confident in her ability to ensure my skin is properly monitored, and the two growths she removed a year ago continue to be fully healed with no residual cancer growth.I always feel comfortable going to this office, from the friendly and professional staff up front, to my time with Dr. Stevens who always has time to answer any questions I may have and I feel very comfortable around her and will most definitely continue to see her as often as she prescribes.Im not one to often do reviews, but Dr. Stevens is a unique individual that does her job extremely well. Im a 67 year old male.During my most recent appointment with her, she found a new small growth that she says is pre-cancerous, but I was scheduled for major surgery the following day for a different reason, and she said she will remove it during our next visit to ensure no unusual infections occurred with my scheduled surgery, and she has my complete confidence in saying it can wait to be removed. This also shows the importance of visiting her on a scheduled basis to ensure I keep any skin cancers under control as I do spend a lot of time in the outdoors. Ive had the unfortunate need to see multiple doctors over the past year, and most have been awesome, but Dr. Stevens is the only one I am always comfortable going to see.Im now cleared for a longer time frame for checkups and her friendly ways will be missed.

I would strongly recommend against using this place. My experience with Emily Stevens was strange at best. She doesnt listen. Jumps to conclusions. Here is just one example, after having a pathology test I came in to discuss the results. The first thing she says is I hope you have good insurance. What? It was just an environmental reaction. As it turns out I could choose to do more tests and tests are expensive...but she just jumped over the edge. She is young and is quick to just run a wide variety of tests -- I am not sure she really knows anything except how to order tests. She started to then blindly put me on these drugs that were such high dosage that they would knock me right out. I suggested that maybe I should see and allergist. She strongly recommended against it --oh it is not an allergy...well, as it turns out, yes it is! Then there is the finance department. They cannot seem to process standard Blue Cross insurance that I use all over the country. Every time I went in they could not process the insurance. Now, I am dealing with their billing department because they missed payments...They are a HUGE country wide group, so the billing department I am dealing with is actually in Florida. I have made 4 calls and they can never connect me with the correct person to speak with and then they promise to call me back in 24 hours... 48 hours later still no call back. This organization is a nightmare...stay away.

I cannot speak highly enough of this clinic and staff! Dr. Allison is a dream to work with and has such a pleasant manner about her. Colleen has gone over and beyond helping me when the pharmacy has been difficult, and both ladies have been such a gem to my 3yr old daughter when she has attended appointments with me. Love this place!

I’ve enjoyed my treatment here. I’m not sure if it’s my insurance but, it seems to always be more expensive than expected and I’m never actual sure what the total will be. Sometimes it is $125 and other times $400. I come twice a year and budget for the visit so it’s not a huge hit but, even with insurance I’m not sure what is ever covered.The doctors here are wonderful and they are well experienced. I was seeing Dr. Baack however starting January 2018 he is no longer doing skin checks and the like as he will be focusing on plastic surgery. I’m sure the new Dr. will be good and I will know more come June 2018.

Was left with larger wound than anticipated and was not sent home with after care instructions following procedure.

Called about 2 months ago to set up an appointment to talk laser Rosacea removal, was set up with an appointment at the Poudre Park location and the doctor I saw was only trying to push pills and ointments to resolve the issue. When I went to check out they set me up with another appointment at the Centre Ave. location because I told them I wanted to go ahead with the laser treatment. When I went to this appointment everything went well as we talked about what to expect in the surgical process but when I went to check out and set up an appointment the receptionist I talked to had no clue on how to go about setting up an appointment. I paid $107 for a 10 minute talk on what to expect. I feel like I am back to square one with trying to get this set up and am not going to set up another appointment to either be persuaded to go a different route with pills or another consultation. It seems the communication between the 2 locations is slim to none.

Happy with my visit; would recommend to family and friends...

Dr. Baak was great, the staff however, not so much. We had 2 visits, each time we walked in, not one of the three people sitting at the front desk acknowledged that we were there until I said something. Both times we were left waiting about a half an hour. The second time, we were scheduled for an 8:00 appointment and the medical assistant strolled in at 8:25. As I was expressing my frustration to someone at the front desk the medical assistant called our name and I so I expressed my frustration to her that we had been left waiting so long. She didnt really seem to care. I cant imagine I would ever go back for anything.

Theres not much scarier than going to a doctor knowing theres something wrong. A spot on your face that wont heal doesnt leave much room for hearing everything is ok. I am so grateful that Dr. Kornfeld at the Skin Clinic gave me several options for treatment—including non-surgical ones— and was supportive of my non-surgical choice. Everyone is totally professional and kind there.
