The doctor gave me the wrong prescription when I tried to get it switched they told me I’d have to redo and repay for my eye exam and pay for another supply of contacts because the box I didn’t know was wrong was open. I missed my appointment because an immediate family member died that morning and when I tried to explain that the girl in the office help her hand up and said “don’t need your personal details sorry” I ended up crying in the office because I just want to be able to see and her exact words were, “well we have limited liability so” I’ve been a patient there for 9 years but I will never go back after the way I was treated.

The doctor made me feel as if my poor vision was all in my head. She stated multiple times she didn’t know how I got glasses originally. I’m not doubting her findings but the way they were presented to me made it seem I made up all of my issues. I did not appreciate being made to feel as if I was crazy for believing my vision had changed over past couple of years. I hope she treats her other patients with more respect and appropriate responses than I was given today.

It went great. Their tech is great. Very different from the last time I had an exam.The doctor was very informative and helped me understand my eye health.

The 1st visit was great. A couple weeks later I went back to get my contacts and that visit was not so great. I’d had glasses for 35 years, never tried contacts. The girl who I thought was going to show me how to put them in and take them out literally handed them to me and said “here you go, there’s the mirror.” I told her I’ve never done it before. She said put it on your finger and pop it in. Okay, I did that. Hours later at home, I had to watch YouTube videos to get them out. I’ve given up a few times this 1st week. I finally went to a family member who wears contacts and had a ‘class’ with her.

Physician took time to explain all the changes taking place with my eyes as I age. Staff was always smiling and cheerful.

Would definitely recommend. All staff are very kind. They explain everything that is being done and showed me the images they took of the back of my eyes and explained what everything was in the images. The best eye doctors I have been to hands down.

I felt rushed during the eye exam with Dr. Claffie. He quickly summarized the photographs of my eyes and seemed to pass me off as quickly as possible to the LensCrafters associates. I did not feel there was adequate time to discuss my eye problems or to receive a more slowed down/thorough explanation of the eye photographs.

Great friendly service provided and never felt pressured to buy or do anything different than what I already have for lenses and contacts.

It was quick and easy. That new imaging machine is great. No more dilating your eyes but the cost is not covered under insurance right now. $40 is a good buy if you can afford it, not to be dilated. People were very nice. No hem hawing around. My wife and I were both out of there in 1/2 hour, for our 2 exams.

It was a pleasant, easy experience from start to finish. Being able to take of documents online before arriving was a nice, safe, efficient way to expedite the process. All employees were friendly and the attending Doctor was informative, friendly and professional. Ive been going to Family Eye Care for almost 10 years and have never had a bad experience.

The office staff and medical folks were great. I was a little put off by the salesperson from LensCrafters standing at the desk as I was paying my copay. She was waiting to usher me to the other side for glasses. Thats pushy and uncomfortable.I would have preferred privacy until I chose to engage.

I would have appreciated more information provided by the doctor and my questions answered now thoroughly.

Everything was ok for my actual visit, and everyone was very nice. My only issue was that I had to wait almost 25 mins after my scheduled appointment time to be called back. My appointment was scheduled at 11:10 so the office hadnt even been open very long. Next time, I will schedule as the first appointment of the day so I dont have to wait. But once the appointment started, no issues and I am happy with my service.

I had an appointment for 10:30 a.m and sat waiting for 40 minutes with no ‘heads up’. After the first 15 minutes, younger girl walked in, clearly late for her shift and as it turns out...low and behold... SHE was the person who was supposed to perform the retinal imaging... you know... the one that you have to pay “ extra” for... very disappointing!

Everybody was very accommodating and very pleasant.the reason of giving a low review rating is because the fact when I set up the appointments for my 3 daughters and I. We called in advance to check what would be the out-of-pocket cost with my insurance I have a $20 copay for the appointment, and that was what I was told they ran my insurance to verify and thats why I set up my appointment with them. After my appointment yesterday an additional 39.99 was added for a total of 59.99 for the visit. My insurance has a 0-49.99 copay for photos. The photos are there way of getting around from doing dilation of the eyes. When I asked about the co-pay for that I was informed that there will be no copay. After my appointment they charged me 39.99 copay which is why Im giving a poor rated. If they were upfront with it itd be a different story but they were not. I will not be returned to you.

Quick and easy, nice staff!

I have been coming here for years.... never an issue. However this time was very different they called me to verify the appointment they sent text to verify the appointment. So when I showed up they had me fill all the info out on line which was a Hassel however I ignored it due to covid. After I filled out the 20 minutes worth of online paperwork they tried to spring on me this time your eye exam thats covered by your insurance normally is going to be 40 extra dollars at a cost to me.... so you guys did all of this getting in contact with me to make sure I knew about this appointment but did not... mention the 40... nice try I will never be back I have already set up my appointment somewhere else and guess what... they mentioned the amount before I waited and filled out all the paperwork... I guess some businesses are just in the practice of good business

Unfriendly staff. Equipment was dirty and smell bad. The exam experience was one Id like to forget. Also you overcharged me by $39.99. I will not be recommending your company to any friends or relatives in fact will advise them to stay away.

Top notch service while taking all the COVID precautions.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I feel the doctor could have a little more personality and not so matter of fact. He never introduced himself when he came into the room, he never smiled once , never said thank you and walked me the checkout. The exam was very thorough and well explained.

Very disappointed in the service. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called which was the next day. The office manager did not tell me about the 39 fee that was required due to Covid until my appointment. I feel like the fee was unnecessary and had nothing to do with the safety of the doctor because either way the doctor was close to the patient.

I had two appt. set up one for me one for my daughter... I received an excessive amounts of phone calls to confirm my appointments. Each time I advised we were sticking to our appointments.Then they offered for us to come in at the same time. Due to traffic, I was 15 minutes late and was told I had to reschedule an appointment that was set over a month... So it ok to move my appointments at an earlier time together but when I was a few minutes late they wouldn’t... if my daughter wasn’t a minor and needed her eyes check I would have cancel both and would of waited for my original dr at a different company...Poor customer service!!!Second, my eye company has always been paid for in full. When checking out I was charged a $49 fee that wasn’t disclosed or advised...I paid it but will not be returning.

Despite the pandemic restrictions the team was excellent they helped me get my contacts correct made sure I was able to get them in and also fixed my old glasses so I could wear them just in case!

Everyone was helpful and friendly during my child’s visit and handled the COVID-19 situation professionally.

My husbands prescription was needed in a timely manner so I called Tuesday around lunch time to request it. The receptionist told me to simply email them requesting it and they would have it to me no later than 5pm. I recieved an email from them Wednesday evening telling me I would need to have him send the email request from his email, which I assume means whatever email they have on file.

Worst experience I had a confirmed appointment at 10 am arrive there and no one was there lense crafters next door said they saw it in the system and that they are probably running late so they said i could wait there half an hour went by and they tried to contact them and no answer an hour went by in total of 1hour and 30 min waiting they said they open at 12 pm and to come back really!!!! I wasted 1 hour and 30 min and paid child care to arrive to my confirmed appointment and nothing !

Optometrist was amazing! As well as the lady that helped me, well tried, with contacts!! Loved Ricky Perry who helped me with my glasses as well!!!

Dilation was an option last year and we were asked before performing this exam. This year we didn’t get a choice for that and it was made mandatory. Very disappointed! Never coming back for my eye exam!!

I had some awesome people working with me today. They were quick about my glasses and I really like the selection of frames they have there.

The doctor is super cool. He doesnt push anything particular, but he gives you the options that would fit what you need. The reception staff is very easy to talk to. Still hate the glaucoma test, but it is what it is.

The ladies there are always so kind, patient, thorough, and timely. The Dr. My 3 kids and I seen today was just as wonderful as the rest of the staff. He was also patient, not rushed, very thorough and he gave me more than a week of different contact samples that are prescription strength. I just love these people and I’m never waiting, even when there’s 4 of us being seen!

Absolutely awful never go to this place!!! I never right reviews but I have to let you know they are the worst!!! First off I waited 2 hours for an eye exam. I was cool with that but then I went to order my contacts and they said 7 days to for home delivery. Fast forward 3 weeks I still have no contacts there was no communication to me. I was over seas and was forced to call them (EXPENSIVE) to try and figure out what was going on because they told me they would be there before I left.and they tell me they only have contacts for one eye in. I’ve been wearing the same contacts for over a month trying to get into see for them rechecks on the contact exam and would refuse to give me my prescription. NOW I’m in a foreign country for a MISSION trip with a STYE because of these contacts. I literally wouldn’t let my WORST enemy come here. LITERALLY my first review. PLEASE go elsewhere there are so many other places to go.

For a planned visit this sure was an extremely long visit. Was at office for 1.5hrs. 1 hour of which was at checkout. They did not have their stuff together getting me out in a timely manner. Also prices have gone way up since last visit

Would not recommend. The only good thing is their contact exams are little cheaper than others. The previous year was fine but this year has changed my mind. I have been in there back and forth since September trying to get these contacts figured out. My original exam for glasses and contacts were in July. They informed me in September after 60 days I have to pay $25 fee for every visit (I don’t remembering being told but I might of overlooked it on papers) I had to go in two more times since that September appointment, but why should I have to pay when it takes 1-2 weeks to order trials for me and have to come back in when the contacts are not right. I had to go back in this last time because the trials I had in where blurry and I couldn’t see out of one of my eyes. I complained about paying the fee again and the manager waived the fee this time but it was a mess because when I went in the doctor (who I never seen before, but was very nice and helpful) says the RX given didn’t match what the doctor wrote down from last visit and turns out someone ordered the wrong RX for one of my eyes. So he started over with a new exam and ordered me contacts. I will not go back after this and will switch my children to someone else as well.

Front desk extremely rude. Demanded that I provide a copy of my vision insurance card even after I explained Eyemed does not provide cards, as provider is able to access my info with just my name and date of birth, and argued with me about it in front of entire waiting room.

I really wish I could give zero stars. The staff here deserve 0. After being mis-fit by the doctor I had to return to be refit for contacts. They then attempted to extort more than $100 from me for another exam. They refused to waive any fees for the refit. Sarah Moore the mgr lied to me during my first visit. I am thoroughly disgusted with how my problem was handled by these unprofessional, lying con-artists.

Not averse to over-booking apparently...55 min wait already, havent seen the eye Dr yet. Wondering if I can bill them for MY time...After waiting an hour I cancelled because the doctor I hadnt had time to see me yet. The girl at the desk said its just that time of year. I reminded her that thats no excuse to book people when you cant see them....
