Dr. Alexander is the best. He made me feel comfortable and not rushed. He explained everything clearly so I could understand what was going on at all times. By far my best experience from any optometrist I’ve seen.

This is the best practice yet. Everyone in the office is friendly, helpful and nice. Dr Flowers is amazing and takes time to explain everything to you and cares about his patients. I would recommend this eye doctor to everyone I just love this place.

Dr. Eide is the one of the best physicians I have gotten to know for the care of my senior parent. His patience and Dr. / patient listening skills are stellar. The entire office staff is very pleasant and professional. They go above and beyond.

Do you need an optometrist in Sumter? I have just found Dr. Jonathan Eide at Carolinas Center for Sight. He is very interested in making sure you are completely informed about everything that is happening. I was comfortable asking questions and he was happy to answer them. I am looking forward to having him manage my eyesight and glaucoma.

My son and I have been to a few optometrists in Sumter, SC, and I must say that I am extremely impressed by Dr. Eide’s thorough examination. I decided to try this office due a previous eye examination that was done with speed but inadequate. Dr. Eide, thank you for your professionalism and expertise!

The only reason I could not rate this place better is because of the wait. I was in the office for 3 hours before I had to leave without seeing the actual doctor. Had to reschedule and that took longer than necessary.

Staff and doctors are great. Wait time, not so much. If you have an appointment here, dont have anything prepared for the rest of your morning..... It usually takes at LEAST 2-3 hours minimum after your scheduled appointment time before you get seen..... Its ridiculous 😒

Clinical staff is very good. Wait times are longer than most doctors offices from what I have experienced. As a previously medical office manager, I feel there is opportunity for improvement. Another area of opportunity, is with financial department for self pay or out of network . We received different pricing from different counselors.

I received Lasik survey from the Florence facility in March 2021. I had to have a touch-up in July for a stigmatisium in one eye that had developed. Dr Greene did a great job, as well as the mobile Lasik team that came in.The problem is the management and running of the daily services. They have so many employees running around kinda like an ant mound that has been kicked, but their process moves like molasses running uphill. On average you will have to wait 2-4 hours to be seen. Right now I have been waiting over an hour.i decided that I would review while I was waiting..again.They reach out so many times to make sure u are on time for your appointment, but then you wait...FOREVER. In all my many years going to doctors offices, I have never experienced the disorganization and callous uncaring of how patients/customers must sit and wait while.they spin and spin in disorganized confusion.why even schwdule appointments when they are incapable of efficient utilization of customers time? I dont know what the root cause of their problems are, but someone who can actually manage a facility needs to take charge and fix this.They nwed a leader and currently have none.Very disappointing. I would not recommend them.due to all the disorganization. Its a shame, because the surgery actually went well....Still waiting by the way..

The doctor a & staff are nice but when you have a appointment & you have to wate for 2-3 hours sometimes longer to be seen after your appointment time is just ridiculous

Carolinas centers for sight in Dillon SC was a delight. The service was very caring and eager to make my visit comfortable, the new Doctor was very nice and professional he help me to understand every procedure he was doing.

Carolinas center for sight is great; however 3 1/2 hours is extremely long for an evaluation appointment. The wait time just to be seen is unacceptable.

The center improved my sight greatly. My biggest problem was my excessive wait times usually two to three hours .My surgery was scheduled for noon and actually had the surgery at 3.This office is very poor at answering the phone.

There is always a great experience at Carolina center for sight. Everyone is kind, professional and courteous. Dr. Seltzer has the greatest bed side manners. His voice is always reassuring to you that every thing is going to be fine. I have been going there for years and the people have always been kind.

When I first met Dr Seltzer he was a no nonsense man about my eyes. He took the time to explain what was going on with my vision. After having eye surgery, I CAN SEE !! Colors are so outstanding it is unreal. I now have my vision back from my youth at an ELEVATED age. My surgeries went so easy there was no pain at all. Wait time was so little it was not like a normal doctors office visit. Did I say I now have 20/20 vision? Yes THANK YOU DR SAM SELTZER AND YOUR GREAT STAFF! I have had the best care here. Dr. Vasuki did my cataract surgery and it was flawless. He is very caring and put me at ease. Dr. Robinson repaired a macular hole, he was also excellent and put me at ease. All of the staff were very courteous and helpful. The staff who took care of me for my surgeries did everything to make me comfortable. I would rate this a top of the line facility with top of the line doctors and staff. I went originally to have my eyes checked for cataracts. They were super nice and I feel very confident in what was done and the information I received. The next time I went back, I went specifically to get an eye exam/prescription for new glasses. Again everyone was very professional, very nice, very helpful and the information I received I felt very confident with. I had an unusual thing happen and went back a third time. Again everyone was very nice, professional and the unique thing that I experienced was taken care of. I would highly recommend this office to anyone for vision care.

I highly recommended this group. Everyone from check in to checkout was very polite and professional. The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained things to me on my level. He eased my fears and I left knowing that there was nothing medically wrong with my eyes.

I had a consult with Dr. Vasuki in December for evaluation of cataracts. Because of my young age of 25, other physicians I had seen for this issue treated me as if I knew nothing and everything was fine. One ophthalmologist (here in town) actually told me your eyes are healthy and walked out of the room. I had reached the point where I could not see to drive at night and my terrible vision was also affecting me at work, where I depend on my vision immensely. Dr. Vasuki told me during the initial consult that I had cataracts in both eyes and recommended cataract extraction with intraocular lens implants. Now that the procedures have been done, I am seeing better than I have in years.. and I am still in the healing phase! Dr. Vasuki has wonderful bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable about the procedures. He is incredible!! The nurses in pre and post op were also wonderful. Very sweet and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this center as well as Dr. Vasuki!!

Ive been coming here 8 months for eye injections. Dr. Payne has been friendly and has answered any questions Ive had. The only reason Im not giving a fifth star is because Ive had several nurses that rushed me through my vision checkups resulting in poorer scores. Most staff members are very nice and personable, though, and talk to me when I come in.

They were very professional, friendly and the made the experience pleasurable. Surprisingly even though they where very busy, the time there seemed short. If I need eye help again I wont hesitate to seek theyre services again.Thank You! Dana F.

Dr. Seltzer is an outstanding Ophthalmologist. He is very professional and very serious about helping to improve your vision. He waste no time in getting down to business and afterwards will ask if you have any questions or concerns. I have trusted his expertise for many years and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Seltzer and have actually recommended him to several friends. The only negative thing I will add is after I arrived there was always very long wait to actually see him.

I would have given a five-star however I think that they scheduled too many patients at one time I counted fifty chairs in that waiting room and 50 people sitting in all chairs and 2 people standing side the wall I think they should not schedule so many patients at one time or other than that my experience was good it was a long wait and I missed anotherappointment that I had atI oclock I got there 10:30 didnt leave the 1:30 and I missed an appointment I had at 1 so thats whyI give it a4

Horrible service!! If I could not give it any stars I would! Will never come back! We stayed for 4 hours and the owner from what I was told was very rude to my 90+ grandmother! He rushed us out and did not respect us. He told us that he do not do the scheduling and if thats all...he needs to leave. I thought that was not professional at all!! He argued us down about missing her appointment but she was in the hospital. I asked one of the nurses who could I report him and she said no one because he is the owner! That business needs a new owner and nicer assistances or it needs to be SHUT DOWN!

If I could give it zero stars I would. I’m calling from another Phycisian’s Office and the person who answers the phone she was very rude and as soon as I went to mention a patient’s name she hangs up. I would never refer anyone here.

I was referred to this office by my family dr for cataracts. Dr Seltzer performed the original removal surgery but I was not informed of the possible complications. My vision was blurry for several months even after they attempted to correct it. I finally went to another dr for another opinion and was told that they had not fully corrected the problem. My job has been jeopardized and I am thoroughly disappointed in this experience. The amount of money that I’m now responsible for paying is outrageous considering the issues that I have faced.

12 pm appt.. initially seen by nurse at 1..still waiting to see Dr. Vasuki...😠. The doctors who can see people the fastest should get all the patients

Fantastic treatment was legally blind when started treatment no longer am legally blind

We received courteous, professional care.

They cancelled my surgery twice. First one was cancelled because they failed to let me know I couldnt wear contacts for two weeks. Second one cancelled because they didnt read cardiologist report. They gave me a lame excuse as to they just got report from my Cardiologist which was a lie.
