It took us a long time to find a dentist we trust and we cant be happier :))) Dr.Dowel is absolutely awesome! We love his personality and a professionalism. His individual aproach to every child is priceless.

For having worked in the dental field for nearly a decade, Dr. Dowells office is beyond exceptional!!! Every single person you meet is so friendly and so patient with all the little humans in their office! My daughter was definitely not an easy patient but they handled the situation like pros! Dr.Dowell is the best dentist in Flagstaff by far. The assistants are polite and make you feel at home. All the staff there are very important and work perfectly as a team. I wouldnt pick anywhere else to take my children.

My daughter, Truely was really nervous before the appointment and at the beginning as well, thank goodness Dr. Dowel’s staff explained everything to her very patiently. Then! Dr Dowel brought his therapy dog, Coral to Truely and placed her on her throughout the appointment. It calmed Truely down and she only remembers her appointment as a good thing where she was calm and she’s fine going back.

We have been taking our son to Dr. Dowell for almost 9 years. It is always a positive experience with the staff and Dr. Dowell. Even during these trying Covid times, they are able to make it a comfortable experience for children that are neurodivent, and we truly appreciate that. Dr. Dowell is very good at taking the time to answer our sons questions when he has them about procedures, teeth, anything, even self esteem and braces. We highly recommend this office to anyone with children that are neurotypical or non-neurotypical.

It doesnt matter if its a regular cleaning or emergency visit every time we go to doctor Dowell we feel so welcomed in taking care of!

Dr. Dowell has the best interest for my kids. He is kind and thoughtful. He has helped us out in tough times make the right decision and not put off important work. This is a great dentist office for kids! Cool waiting room and amazingly patient staff. This was my second dentist in town and will be the final one for my child. Dr Dowell and his team were super patient with a squirming, wiggly, and sometimes screaming, 20 month old and between all that did a thorough cleaning and comprehensive exam. Very pleased and will be taking him here from now on.

We went in because my 8yr old crashed face first on our driveway. They got us in the very next day and took an X-ray to check him out. Dr. Dowell didn’t charge us for the visit, just for the X-ray and through insurance. Dr Dowell was very kind and gentle with my son, all in all a great experience!

We have been going to Dr. Dowell since 2014. He treats all 3 of our children. He is very attentive and personally checks on his patients after procedures. His staff is very friendly and excellent with kids! My children never dread going to the dentist thanks to them!

Weve been going to Dr Dowell for the past 4 years and have always had a great experience. My oldest doesnt like anyone putting their hands in his mouth, doesnt like me to brush his teeth etc., but the hygienists are always very friendly and patient. Several pros that keep us coming back:fun waiting room - I take 4 kids young kids with me and they always enjoy playing in the little playhouseeasy parking - theres always spaces available right up frontmovies available for kids to watch while getting a cleaningprizes to pick from after their checkupkind and caring staff membersTo be fair, none of my children have had any cavities filled, so I cant speak to that, but cleanings, fluoride treatments etc. have all gone very well.

Ive been taking my three kids there for a couple of years now, ever since my oldest was 3 years old. Now he is 21 years old. Dr Dowell is awesome! Hes so good with my kids!! Staff there is very helpful n cheerful

We love Dr. Dowell and everyone else at his office, too! From the moment you walk in, it is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We always feel like there is plenty of time to ask questions and have things explained. The staff focuses not only on the patient, but on helping educate the parents. We have had a couple of experiences with a different pediatric dental office in town that felt like a rushed assembly line, and we have been thrilled ever since moving to Dr. Dowell. Today, my son got back into the car after his appointment and asked “Can we do that again next week?”.
