I had an initial visit at the center today and was greatly impressed from check in to departure. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. I was really nervous upon arrival but the staff soothe my fears. The NP, Kimberly Wilmoth, gave me a thorough assessment of my MRI and an initial game plan to restore my health. I recommend this facility. Keep up the good work and level of service.

From making an appointment to seeing Dr Harvey it was such a easy process. The staff was so helpful and pleasant, everything was covered by the Dr. Payment was by far the best and so much less than I figured it would be when you dont have insurance. His reassurance and supportive manner is most certainly one of the reasons for the success of the practice at large.

It was a wonderful experience. Although I arrived about 5-10 minutes late because I went to the wrong location, I was greeted warmly and assured I would be send. My wait wasn’t very long before seeing Dr. Stewart my Doctor. It was obvious that he had reviewed all my test results and check on my leg. Asked several questions about the severity of pain and gave me great instructions and advice on how to avoid a reoccurrence. He was very brief and to the point. I left feeling very good about the visit and thankful that the treatment he had prescribed had in fact worked. I’m not 100% yet but I’m much better than I was thanks to Dr. Stewart.

As a first impression this was awesome. Appointment time was 8:30a. Arrived about 8:05. Called back about 8:15a. First time ever being called back and seen before the actual appointment time. I needed x-rays again no wait at all. I was in an out in less than an hour. If all the morning appointments are like this I will keep going. Even the follow up for physical therapy was scheduled in a timely manner. I look forward to working with this team.

I have major pains in foot and knee. All staff were great! Receptionist very welcoming, nurses listened very good at initial assessment, X-ray tech very kind in taking photos of knee and foot and doctor was outstanding in explaining the problem, diagnosis and treatment plan- which he implemented immediately! I came in limping and left walking normal! Healed😂. Will be on meds for awhile- as expected. Encouraged to come back if I had any further problems. My experience at Resurgens Orthopaedics was awesome. The weight time was minimal and the staff was great. I was able to purchase a back brace that can apply heat or ice inside the back brace itself. My 1st experience and it was great!!! Kimberly Wilnoth, FNP-C did a great job explaining what procedures would be forth coming.

The PA John Michael Reiggers was very pleasant and witty. He was very thorough in explaining my husbands options pertaining to his diagnosis of his knee pain. Very pleasant and professional young man.

Of the 2 unpleasant encounters I’ve had with the scheduler for Dr. Goins, Rachel Chancey, the one I had with her on Friday, October 1st was dominated with coldness and horrible attitude. I actually had to call the office back on Friday (3 days AFTER I was supposed to receive a call back) and was finally able to speak with her. I spoke with her initially several weeks earlier to discuss the process—including any scheduling, medical clearances and Dr. Goins’ current availability. She explained that his schedule fills up quickly and to keep this in mind if I wanted surgery before the end of the year.When I was finally able to get a hold of her on Friday, she answered the phone with a tone that sounded like she was annoyed or aggravated. Not sure if her reaction was personal (since the initial conversation was not a particularly pleasant one). Nonetheless, I proceeded with the conversation.My questions seemed to irritate her as indicated by her snarky “like I said before..” and apparent impatience—which prompted her to school me on a process I explained I was already aware of.Bottom line is this: Rachel’s attitude was the worst I’ve experienced with this office so far. Usually, I’d extend her the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to having bad day (like I did the first time), but since this is my 2nd experience with her like this, I cannot grant her that benefit.

I’ve had the absolutely worst experience with this office. First they over charge me on my copay on the first visit and now I have to jump through all these extra hoops to have it corrected. Then today, when I was scheduled to meet with the surgeon, Gary Stewart, and get set up for surgery, sat in the office for 90 min past my appointment time just for the doctor to come in and say he was the wrong doctor and schedule me for another at an office even further away than this one is. Called the other office to make sure that this new doctor they were sending me to was going to be the one to get things moving in the right direction just to find out they still scheduled me with the wrong doctor. Now I have to wait nearly a week to see another in yet another location.These people call themselves professionals but they clearly don’t know their own practice, or those that work in it, and how to conduct business in a timely and professional manner. They are careless and negligent and have no regard for providing adequate care to their patients or the difficulty we’re going through that’s brings us in in the first place. Not to mention how rude Gary Stewart was, as if I’m the problem. I’m making arrangements to continue my care at Grady and only maintaining the current appointment for next week as a last resort. Beyond actually receiving this surgery, if necessary, I will not continue my care here. They cannot be trusted.

I have been a patient with Resurgens but today I actually felt like a customer too. I have a couple of issues but each MD is a specialist a great at it too. However when I explained at my age people don’t just have one thing wrong, so my specialist actually took the time to examine the other problem so he could give his partner a heads up. I already felt like a well treated patient, but he realized quickly as a business maybe there is a different approach for some people like me. Could not be happier knowing I can make an informed decision with both doctors working with me to determine which issue to address first. I have been going to Resurgens for several years now and the staff, the two doctors who I’ve seen are very good. Dr. Goodman has replaced my right knee, and both hips. Still have a little bit of pain in one hip but at my age just glad to be walking.Dr.Goins is another great doctor. His operated on my back about four times. I met with Dr. Harvey for a knee sprain. He performed some basic physical movement tests that took about 2 minutes. Didn’t need to run any X-rays or any other unnecessary tests. Talked about over the counter pain meds to take as needed. Gave me the green light for light weight training with the knee to help speed up recovery. Told me to expect as long as 6 months for a total recovery. Fair price to perform physical tests, answer questions and set expectations. I’d go back for sure!

I have seen 2 doctors here and both were top notch. After 5 years of living with spinal pain, I finally trusted these great doctors to help solve my issue. The surgery was the best thing I could have ever done. These doctors are by far the very best.

Dr. Claps is the best! From the beginning when I met him to discuss options for my knee, I always felt that he was sincere and he provided advice that I needed to decide to have a total knee replacement. One year later, my knee is 100% and I am stronger than ever with my knee. I was able to return to my full workout regiment 5 months post surgery. My mother is 98 years old and was having terrible pain in back, hip and leg. We went to 2 doctors before coming to Resurgens and got no relief. Our visit at Resurgens was scheduled quickly by a very friendly and caring scheduler...then we were seen very promptly when we arrived for our appointment and the nurse was attentive and caring. The PA was very knowledgeable and spent as much time as we needed to explain our diagnosis and the treatment. And made us feel cared for and heard. That was yesterday afternoon...and after 5 days of terrible pain we finally see some improvement and are finding some relief. I will recommend Resurgens and our PA to everyone I know.
