Ive had two appointments with this pain clinic. Front staff is very professional. Both Dr Kisbaugh and NP Spahl listen and genuinely care about chronic pain. As a RN, I appreciated how they listened to me and we worked out quality ongoing treatment. Healthcare is best when we cooperate. Highly recommended.

Great place for rehab practices and injections! They definitely he the job done, and take care of the problem you have in a timely manner. I sued to have back sciatica and back pain and they took 90% of my pain away. Im so happy with the results , I was able to go back to my active life and my favorite sport activities. Also they did everything in their power to get my a new appointment that I was trying to schedule at a late time schedule. I used to do before getting injured. I recommend this place.

The receptionist at the front desk is very professional and the PAs or nurses are very professional and shows care to the patient. Since I have been going to RPK Center I can say they are the best. I been to some other center and its night and day. How you approach anyone, should be how you want to be treated. Keep up the great work RPK Center.

Ive been in and out of doctors offices quite a lot in the last several years, most offices treated me as if I was wasting their time and mine. I was skeptical to go to the RPK Center especially after reading some of these reviews. .. Im happy to say that the people here are pleasant and very friendly most remembered my name by the third trip. Ive recommended my family and friends that suffer from chronic pain to talk to their primary care physicians about referring them here. Im not completely pain free and perhaps never will be but I am getting relief and to me thats all that matters... Dont always believe the nay sayers they are not always right!

Dr. Kishbaugh and his associates have all been extremely knowledgeable Ive been going there for over five years with absolutely no problem with the staff as an individual or a whole. My treatment has been long and still on going but that has to do with my body. Ive had injections in my back every three months and over Most of the coarse of my treatment. Yes they are painful to receive but Im confident the injections are one of the reasons Im still able to walk.

Great Staff!I am a Disabled Veteran,And I have never, in 2 years been let down by this team. From the Front Desk to Doc to PAs to office assistants.... They always came through!I love the fact that even before the ‘Opioid Crisis’ became a Big Issue, These guys Pushed Naturally healing, supported and praised me for attempting it.After 10+ yrs of living in pain and NO explanation, they helped me find the answers that countless doctors could not.TY Guys!

They lied in my records; when I told the nurse I wouldnt come back, she crossed out my referral to recommend me see a neurosurgeon; one worker tells me one thing and one tells me another thing several times. I gave them copies of my records and they threw them away and they couldnt even find the MRI I gave them; They said they needed the MRI and the CD. I go back and get the CD, then they say they dont need it. I was frustrated about all this and they blame it on me having an anger issue. I dont think so. I go to church every Sunday and no one at church or my neighbors ever say that. Sad a person has to be treated like this. I should have quit coming the first time I came here and noticed issues. The last nurse I saw was by herself un the room yet she stated in the report the supervisor was in the room to cover themselves. Sad the world has become such a sad place to be in.

I HAD a very compassionate Rheumatologist that understood my living hell, PERFECTLY. Sadly, she moved on to bigger and better things and I ended up here.Ive had to learn to deal with urinalysis and pill counting. Which, in my opinion, adds insult to injury. Unfortunately, this is the way this place is forced to function due to the drug seekers out there.Im so very sorry if you are a kindred soul and live in chronic pain. There is hope though. If you have come to your wits end and need help, this place is legit and I highly recommend it... just learn to tolerate their rather stringent tolerances and to never deviate from them and they will take excellent care of you.

After reading other reviews I have finally decided to write one of my own.I believe any experience you have with a doctor or PA is what you make of it. If you arrive with a smile, dont worry about the staff. Be ready with questions or concerns, and if you need something looked at, ask the PA or Dr not to wait till the next visit.. You get more of what you need with sugar and not vinegar. It may seem that they are being really strict and requiring what seems to us honest people, like the urinalysis and pill counting, is actually a requirement in order for the pain center to remain in business. As for the opioids, there is a nationwide crisis of addiction. That is probably why they are required to start weaning patients off the meds.Any issues I have had with the center have been caused by me. All of the staff has been kind and helpful....

Ive been seeing Claire Valenzuela at RPK for about 5 months now. She is very knowledgable, experienced and has helped me in every way possible. She is a very friendly and positive person. I have a protruding disc and mild scoliosis. I came in with a pain level 9. With treatment and medication I stay at around a pain level of 3-4 which is great, I can actually function like a normal person. The staff is very friendly and treats me with respect and kindness. The receptionists are always nice and always have a smile on their face. The wait time is short, Ive never waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. Ive read negative reviews about Dr. Kishbaugh. Personally I have seen him one time to receive shots in my back. He was nice to me. He was fast paced, got the job done, I didnt have any problems with him. I highly recommend this clinic for pain management and lower back problems.

I started going to the RPK Center for severe pain from Sciatica. They barely looked at me and asked me what it is I want them to do. I was told that they dont give pain meds but to go to my general physician for that, but here they are a pain clinic. They put me on too many nerve medicines which resulted in me having seizures. When I told them, they never checked me out or so much as took my temperature. Then they refused to give me a work note after being supposedly treated there for 3 weeks. During these 3 weeks I could hardly walk and was having seizures because of the meds that they put me on. Come on! Really!? I will never go back to this place! Im lucky that they did not kill me! They told me my problem was purely muscular even though my MRI shows 2 herniated discs.UPDATE 10/18/2017I went for a second opinion in Pinehurst with Dr Campbell and was recommended surgery to help me sciatica. When they cut me open the Dr found a humongous piece of herniated disc that was pinching my sciatic nerve. I can finally stand up straight again! So thankful that I found someone who knows what they are doing. The RPK Center was not it. They misdiagnosed me and did nothing to properly treat me. They left me worse off them when I first walked into their doors.

Dont go here! My husband is a disabled veteran and we decided to persue treatment for his pain at an outside clinic from the VA. They are in no way paying for or referred him to this office. When my hubby was there today they told him the VA told them not to treat the patients that they refer. The doctor could not get it through his thick skull that my husband is not being treated by the VA and that he was there using our private insurance and referral from our primary care doctor. They will treat you like crap!

Most unethical practice Ive ever been to. Dr. Kishbaugh performed 6 botched spinal epidurals on me and had zero compassion. The entire office staff is rude and unprofessional. After the initial injection appointment kishbaugh only allows you to see a PA who legitimately has no idea what they said a month ago and takes zero notes. This is a true quack of a medical establishment.

I had no problems with this practice until I was handed over to PA Denise. After a voluntary titration off opiates with PA Lisa and discussion of continued pain issues, other options could have been a vast selection of NSAID topical solutions, patches or cortisone shots. I asked for one of these alternative pain management with Denise and was offered an appointment with Dr. Kishbaugh on September 28 or 29. How is that supposed to help my pain issues today? Denise did not look at me, exam me or seem at all concerned with my pain issues. She was a total waste of a co-pay.

I have been on Morphine for over 20 years, and Xanax, I moved from Baltimore to NC and started at RPK, well 2 months ago Dr. KISBAUGH decides he will not give any pain medication to anyone taking Xanax, now I have taken Xanax longer tjen I took Morphine, I have had 17 back surgeries, 17, now Lisa has left the practice and he calls me today and says that instead of taking 3 morphine a day as I have been, he tells his name to tell me to take 1 a day and that when he sees me next week here wont give me any pained at all. How dangerous is it to just discontinue a medication a oatient has been on for over 10 years. I WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE I KNOW TO NEVER GO TO HIS CLINIC. I would understand if I ever had a history of taking to many together but I have never had a problem. Now he wants to just cut me off, I believe and know this is extremely dangerous you are supposed to be weaned off opiates, not just taken away, what kind of Dr. What do this, he now makes his patients come in monthly when it used to be big monthly he is making up the money by making patients paying every m0nth instead of every 2 months. I URGE YOU DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!

I am currently having a horrible experience with this organization. I am a Soldier from Fort Bragg that was referred to them for pain management. I was placed on medication that required me to take drug screenings. The RPK Center DID NOT get prior approval from Tricare prior to giving me a drug screen even though they said that they did - AND said that Tricare would pay for it. Tricare didnt pay for it and in February of 2015 I got a bill for almost $800 for a drug screen. I called them and was told that they would take care of it. Cathy told me that she was unaware she had to get approval for the drug screen separately and made a mistake and if tricare didnt pay for it, They would write it off. Now, Today in July 23, 2015 I just got another bill from Alere demanding almost $800 for that very same drug screening. I called RPK again and Cathy was rude - said she didnt remember our conversation and she couldnt help me. She refused to even let me speak she was so rude. I stopped going there for pain management because of their billing issues. I think the doctor is wonderful but their billing sucks. Ive had nothing but problems with getting bills. As you know, being a Soldier - getting bills is wrong. I hope they will fix this issue as if they read this review, they will know exactly who I am. If you didnt have authorization to give me a drug screen, then you shouldnt have done it. I told you that you needed authorization and you all said you had it. Well - then pay this $800 bill that I got in the mail and that Alere is demanding I pay...for your mistake....
