I was very pleased with my visit to DentalWorks Raeford Road. Having woken up in the middle of the night with a broken tooth, I called first thing in the morning for a same day appointment. The young lady quickly took my information and had my insurance information ready to go when she greeted me upon my arrival. I only waited 5 minutes in the lobby before going back. I was lucky to have Lisa working with me. She was a delight and kept the atmosphere fun and helped the time pass by. She checked regularly on my pain level and was genuinely concerned about how I felt and my post opp treatment. Dr. Patel did an amazing job getting the whole tooth extracted. He was patient with me and explained what he was doing and even further suggested future ways to fix the issue. Even the encounters with the manager and receptionist (Kimberly) at the front desk were engaging and entertaining. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to feel like a staff of people are working together for you (the patient). Huge shout out to Dr. Patel and Lisa for being one hell of a team...I appreciate your hard work today.Went back today for an exam and to get my dental health back on track. Friendly and helpful staff. I have a fear of the dentist and my anxiety didn’t rise at all. Usually as soon as I walk by to get XRays it’s ramping up. However, this staff I encountered from the receptionist all the way to the check out process was amazing. Highly recommend and check out their Dental Works dental plan, way cheaper than out of pocket.

I had an issue and needed to be seen but my last dentist could not see me (Hope Mills). So I took an appt. for the Raeford Rd office. The dentist discussed what should be done and asked me if I had the procedure scheduled. Hope Mills was going to send me to a specialist, but I was told this dentist could do that procedure in his office with no problem. Dr. Adamson was very knowledgeable about what choices I had and took time to discuss them with me. I was very at ease at the Raeford Rd. office and have decided to have Dr. Adamson as my dentist, even though it is a longer distance to travel. 5 + stars.

From the moment I arrived for my appointment to the moment I left I felt absolutely comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the waiting area was warm and inviting. Most dentistry office waiting areas have a way of feel very sterile and bland, but that was not the case here. Very warm and inviting! Dental Works has a friendly atmosphere and its staff is awesome. Receptionists are kind and willing to help as much as possible. Dental hygienist Alice is amazing, shes so friendly and funny! Willing to work with me and does as much as she can to make me comfortable! Her assistant Katelyn is the same, they make you feel like youre hanging out with friends rather than at the dentist office!

Easy and reliable. They identify things correctly, so I wont have fillings in place of stains, which happened elsewhere. Easily got a referral to help with an inflammatory issue while other dentists considered it cosmetic because the others didnt care to listen to autoimmune disorders and symptoms. I drive 45 minutes to this office because I dont want to deal with any other dentists.

Came to DentalWorks for an emergency and have been treated wonderful ever since, Dr.A is probably one of the best dentists i have had in my entire life. The Hope Mills and Raeford Rd staffing are all so friendly and have been doing a great job with scheduling around this Covid situation.

Had a tooth extracted and wasn’t prescribed any pain medication. Called in the following morning saying I didn’t sleep the night before and they called back 4 hours later and said I could pick up my prescription. Picked it up and it was anti booties since he forgot to prescribe those as well and ibuprofen. Will not be returning to this location since they can’t understand that medication after a procedure like this should be taken care of the day of and consist of more than something I could pick up at a gas station. Was not impressed with the people that I dealt with.

The staff was great! They fit me in for an emergency root canal...the procedure went way better than expected. And now, no more pain!!! Other than my mouth from the shots, which is to be expected, and they gave me some meds after the fact. All in all, I hope to call this place home for me and my family!!!

My experience was very positive! All of the staff I encountered were professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They addressed all of my concerns and took the time to make sure that I was well taken care of. The team worked very well together. I would definitely recommend them and I will be returning in the future.

My wife and I went for a check-up. We were scheduled for a 1:00 and 1:45pm appointment. we got there 20 minutes early as requested but found no one at the counter(This was our first visit). However, there was a sign on the counter that said that everyone was at lunch...BAD IDEA! And that anyone there for an appointment could start filling out the forms left on a clipboard on the counter. My appointment was at 1:45 and since I had other business to attend to I left, only to return and find my wife still sitting in the waiting area. She had not gone back for her 1:00 appointment yet. Apparently, no one had explained to her that they were waiting on approval from our insurance company. The Dental Hygienist and the Doctor were both excellent in the services that they rendered.(Basically; X-rays, exam and evaluation). The receptionist (Jessica) was also great in her service as well. This cost me $136.00 out-of-pocket. Im not complaining about the out-of-pocket cost but, after the exam(not cleaning) we were told that we had to reschedule an appointment for the actual cleaning and other work that needed to be done. I was under the impression that at least the cleaning would be done at this appointment? So, we have to return for the cleaning and a third appointment for the additional work to be done. The reason I gave three stars is because, like I said, the Dental Hygienist and the Doctor were excellent in the services that they provided but as you can tell from my post, that there are improvements to be made!

This place is filled with rude an unprofessional ppl. They lost my Drivers license and have the nerve to lie and say they handed it back to me. On top of that they had an attitude about me even telling them I never received it back. I can go on and on about them but that was the icing on the cake unfortunately I have to finish my next appointment with them but I will never go back after that. I defiantly do not recommend this place at all.

I arrived for my appointment on time only to find out after being seated in the dental chair that my hygienist was not there and that I could return later in the day when she would be there, if I wanted to. Whats the point in making an appointment if Im not going to be seen by my preferred hygienist. In addition, if I can be charged for not showing up for an appointment, shouldnt there be some type of accountability of the practice to the customer in this type of situation; like a phone call to inform the patient that their preferred doctor or hygienist will not be available for the scheduled appointment. This way the patient can decide before spending time and money if they want to reschedule or not? I really dont think Im going to continue coming to this practice when there are more feasible and affordable options. PS. The Hygienist was great....but the customer service needs HELP!

I was seen yesterday, 4/4 at the Raeford Road location. I spoke with a few people. However, one young lady was amazing. Her name is Paulina. She was very sensitive to my situation and understanding of my feelings. She listened to everything I said. When I walked through the door I was sad, but when I left she put a huge smile on my face. The wait has been an issue from day one, but once dr Adamson starts working, you realize the wait was well worth it. I came from a dental office where the wait was 5min if that long,but the work had to be redone each and every time. So I much rather wait and get things done right than have no or very little wait time, but you have to deal with overhangs, no contact or still in pain or discomfort of some sort. All in all I would love to give 4-5 stars but the wait has to be considered.

I really enjoyed my experience in this clinic. Their personnel is great: friendly and thoughtful, professional and very well-qualified. They were able to fit the 3 services I needed in my one first-time visit(which I didnt even imagine would be possible:) ), very convenient and flexible, awesome scheduling.The place itself is pretty impressive and lively, it feels comfortable being there. Would definitely choose it next time and recommend it to others.

Friendly and fast! I was able to get an appointment for myself and my two kids withing a few days. We were processed in and taken to the back within 10 minutes of arriving even though we were new patients. The staff checked my insurance and gave us plenty of options for follow up care. What a wonderful experience!

To make a long story short, my filling fell out last week and today I got something stuck in it. Frantically, I called dentist all over town. The first time I called they were unable to squeeze me in, but after about an hour of searching, I had my husband call back. They agreed to see me because of my situation. When I got there, I told them I was paying cash, so I suspected that they would want me to prepay (my normal dentist always does even though I have spent thousands with them, and always pay my bill). However, they werent pushy about money, which is refreshing. The staff was very friendly, and the dentist took care of my filling. I have problems going all the way numb, and the dentist made sure I was all the way numb before starting my filling. For me to be an emergency squeeze in, I was able to get out of there quickly. I would recommend this office to anyone. I plan on making this my regular office.

A phone call to the VA in Durham was needed to get permission,. and did I need to take an antibiotics before removing a tooth. She know that I needed help and she made the call for me. I give her a five plus stars. She is a good team player.

I havent even gone in. I JUST called to ask some questions and the female that answered the phone sounded like she just didnt want to be at work today. Smh didnt say bye have a nice one or anything, was mumbling on the phone when she answered . What is wrong with people? Not going here.

The receptionist were very nice and professional upon entry. The wait time was a bit extreme. I was called back 43 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. After I completed my x-rays, the dental hygienists informed me that she nor the other hygienist had the time to conduct my cleaning. There are only two on staff. I was rescheduled for another appointment. This was my very first visit but it seem that they are understaffed. I spent nearly two hours at this facility only to get told to reschedule. I wasn’t happy about that but I’m glad they rescheduled me as appose to rushing through my cleaning or having me wait even longer for a hygienist to become available. You could just tell that they were pressed for time. Maybe it was just a bad day for the staff. I’m not sure.

They were amazing with my daughter(3 year old). They made sure she wasnt afraid by showing her the tools they use one by one to ensure her their was nothing to be afraid of. They were a nice welcoming staff.

I went to DentalWorks with expectations. What I expected was not the reality of my situation. I received great advice; great information , and then great service. I will be attending DentalWorks for my next appointment in August. I think everyone should consider DentalWorks. I think they will be happy with the service.

I had a great experience here. Very friendly, professional and quick to help in every way they could. I see other reviews speaking of billing issues which may be possible but they were very accurate and up to speed with mine, so maybe theyve worked their kinks out! Dr. Roman is awesome and my hygienists were amazing!

I have bad dental anxiety. The entire staff was very patient with me and treated me with respect. Dr. Adamson was so kind and professional. I kept apologizing for the anxiety and never once did he make me feel like a burden. I cannot say enough good things about this office. He has earned my trust and will be back!!

Great staff and good experience. I have a 5yr old and he was comfortable enough to go in the room next door to do his cleaning while I sat with his sister (3yr) in the other room for hers. This was her 2nd time seeing the dentist and first time sitting all by herself. The hygienists did great jobs with both of them. The only thing I wished they had was a few more books for children or toy to play with while we waited. Other then that we are very pleased with our experience at Dental Work!

The staff at this location is always friendly and helpful. They try to make the experience for my almost 2yr old as fun and positive as possible. They even watch her for me while I get my teeth clean. She had a great time with the girls up front coloring and watching a movie. Im going to miss the staff/place as we PCS. If we ever get stationed back here I will be returning this office only!

Staff is always friendly. Ive had to go in for adjustments on my dentures about five times in the past two years as they have shifted with wear and they never complain that I come too much but are polite courteous helpful and willing to go out of their way to make me comfortable again.

Had a tooth bothering me and no appointment. They worked me into the schedule to see what was going on. They couldnt fix/remove the tooth as they were booked solid. The reception lady called their other location and got me an appointment to deal with the issue for that afternoon.Dental Works folks were great at both locations.

My doctor and hygienist were ok. But the nurse or whatever her job was that I had was horrible. She barely communicated with me so I was left in the chair that was raised up high and leaned all the way back for a very long time after the doctor left. I have a head injury (she knew) I cannot stay like that. I had to ask if I was done. She had an attitude. I never received the paperwork the hygienist asked her to give me she just sat it at the computer and I never saw her again. For my first appointment I don’t even want to go back.

Walked in on a Saturday with no appointment. Everyone was very friendly and I actually did not have to wait long to be taken back. Have been to this location before and have always had a good experience...well as good as you can for being at the dentist.

Took our daughter there and they told us she had five cavities that needed to be filled asap. We got a second opinion and were told by the other dentist that they couldnt find any of the alleged cavities in question. The Dental Works dentist was also extremely rude to our daughter. We will never go there again. I would definitely not recommend this practice to anyone.

I love my dentist at Dental Works, however, the billing department is a nightmare. As has been stated earlier, this company has you pay for all work upfront. However, twice, after receiving dental work, I have checked out of the office, reassured by office that all is well with billing (in other words, I am not in arrears). Twice I have received bills from Dental Works in excess of $1000.00!! I will be looking for another dentist as soon as this dentist repairs one of my root canals.

Had a root canal done and so far its been a good experience. I had a lot of anxiety about it but they eased my fears and I had no problems with billing and the woman even showed me if I schedule it a certain way my insurance would pay even more and I wouldnt be out as much money.

Dr. Adamson is an exceptional dentist. He is humble enough to seek second opinions from both the Endosontist and orthodontist before proceeding with any extractions or root canals. He is patient, honest, comforting, and above all extremely caring. Dental hygienist Alice Villarreal is another complete professional, who goes above and beyond her job title. She has been seeing my kids and I for the past 4 years and it amazes me how patient she has been with them. My son was not a fan until this last appointment (as he states that now he is a “big boy”) Alice was able to work around his tantrum and help him through his anxiety. She was patient and kind which allowed for him to build trust in her. Thank you dental works for being great with our family.
