I like the doctor however, she is very slow and do not follow up in a timely manner. I’ve waited weeks for very important results. I was in so much uncomfortableness for days and no call back or check up. I called every day and the front desk would say they will call back and will never. I believe her front desk staff are for the most part straight out of school which means they are not trained staff. I would have gone to an urgent care but it’s COVID-19 and I’ve already paid my fees to the doctor. The front desk turnover is like every 3 months. Most of the time the front desk can be rude but I believe it comes from the defense of the frustrations of the patients.

Front desk staff is rude, useless, slow moving and unintelligent. My mom broke her leg and is having trouble on crutches. I asked for a wheel chair or a wheelie desk chair as my mom hobbled the long walk with unsteady crutches. They told me to wait as they stared lifelessly at a screen. I lost patience watching my mom struggle and afraid she would fall (again) and went and grabbed one of the several empty ones from behind the desk. I rushed and rescued my mom. Then they took it away from her, saying that it wasn’t a wheel chair! I have never wanted to punch anyone before now. Bad enough they pretend to be busy when they are empty, acting as though my mother’s emergency surgery blood work was an inconvenience to their “busy” schedule. “They won’t have it in time for the surgery, so long as they are fine with that. “ oh I’m sorry, does this emergency inconvenience you?? Please save yourself the headache and choose a different healthcare provider.

Fine doctor if you only need a yearly physical.

Ive been seeing Dr O for at least 5 years. I was referred to her by a friend thats very picky. I figured if she liked the Dr that says something. I was right. I refer all my friends to her practice. You can tell she really cares about her patients.

Staff was nice the first time I came there but wait was insanely long. Then she gave me a shot that I am prescribed and am supposed to get every 3 months and she told me to come back in 3 months. That was all good but then when I call 3 months later they claim I have to go to a different doctor and the last time was a one time thing. I know for a fact that is a lie and she did not say that to me when I was there the first time.Will not be going back here.

Dr. Owusu-Sakyi is wonderful. She takes her time, listens to your input, and does a thorough evaluation. Your health is obviously of the utmost importance to her. She always ensures you get the care and consideration you deserve, even if it means taking extra time. You can expect to wait a solid hour after your scheduled appointment time to see her, but she is definitely worth it. If you care for yourself and can afford an extra hour wait every here and there, do yourself a favor and see Josephine. I cant recommend her highly enough.

I absolutely love this doctor. I have kept her over the years and through 3 different insurances. I even don’t mind some co-pays when I can get most of my care for free at the VA. Some of the front desk staff however, are disorganized, don’t follow through with lab results before calling for unnecessary referrals. I gave my complaint to the doctor in the past about a very serious matter at the front desk, and she dealt with it immediately. I will give these ladies a year to get it together before I mention names and the lack of basic medical knowledge to work in a doctor’s office. Although I get unnecessary calls for a referral I no-longer need, I do appreciate the calls instead of no call when something is wrong with you, or gone unchecked. It’s all a matter of perspective. The only time something would go unchecked with this doctor is if you forget to say something!

Love the office staff and the doctor are awesome. She listens intently and always finds excellent solutions. I highly recommend this doctor.

Probably the most well kept office I’ve ever been to. Helpful staff and a doctor that makes you feel comfortable every time. Highly recommend.

Love the doctor, cant stand the staff or the consistently long wait times. Doctor and staff dont seem to be on the same page. Everytime I need routine blood work for my meds, Im asked to make an appointment. When I sit down with the doctor, shes like so why are you here? Im like I dont know, Im fine, I just need the blood work for my meds as weve discussed before...It wouldnt be so bad if I had to wait over an hour every time. So at that point, Ive wasted my time, her time and the appointment could have gone to someone who needed it. To top it off, the staff is pretty rude about it.

I am a Physical Therapist at ATI Physical Therapy in Elkridge. Dr Josephine at Truecare Health is probably the most spoken about physician in the area. My personal experience with Dr Josephine is that she is very caring, believer of holistic medicine and always have time and patience to listen to her patients. I would highly recommend her as you PCP is you dont have any or looking to change.
