CVS Minute Clinic on Old Waterloo Rd in Elkridge is the place I go and my family goes as well when we aren’t feeling well and its after doctors offices are closed. Well today my teen daughter wasn’t feeling well so i went on the cvs minute clinic app and made an an appointment for 2:50pm (10/22/2021). We arrived early and sat and sat and sat. Finally someone comes in and asks if u made an appointment and I responded yes. He then proceeded to the room and came back out to speak with me in a rude tone asking my name and time of the appointment and I informed him then he stated that he called me and left a message to reschedule because 2-3pm is when they take their lunch and was waiting another team member to assist him because he couldn’t help all the patients also the app must be having glitches and at the time it was only my daughter and another person. He said i should have called to find out their lunch schedule before making my appointment. He wouldn’t answer my question after waiting until 3:24pm me asking how much longer would i have to wait and rudely he said if you would listen to me…. The guys name is Desmond a nurse practitioner who is the rudest person I ever encountered at cvs minute clinic on old waterloo rd in Elkridge md. I will never ever ever go back to that clinic again. Shame on Desmond with his poor customer service and poor bedside manner. I am so disappointed in him and how he treated me in front of my child. Awful

This place is very hit or miss.I had come here once with a UTI and things worked out fine, though carrying a urine sample through the store felt a bit awkward.I came here again with an ear infection and was told my jaw was misaligned. I saw an ears eyes & throat doctor the next day who saw that my ear was swollen shut. I could have been spared an extra 24 hours of pain if theyd seen the signs before.Theres usually long wait times here, but at least they have seating.

Went online Sunday morning at 7:30 and booked an appointment for 9:30 am the same day. Doctor was nice and on time. They sent a prescription directly to CVS in the same store and waited just a few minutes to have it filled. Nice and easy.

If I could rate this MinuteClinic a ZERO, I would. I went to visit with them yesterday for a flu test, no flu which is great but I did have a bad sinus infection. The Dr. forgot to call in my antibiotic! Getting in touch with anyone to help with anyone at Minute Clinic is impossible. I tried to call them 2 times last night and was on hold for a total of 50 minutes. I called and spoke to someone at 8:00 am this morning and she was helpful. I was told that the Dr. called in Motrin. Motrin is not for a bacterial sinus infection....PLUS, I can buy it at the pharmacy. I will never go to MinuteClinic again and I will be appealing the Co-Pay charge once it goes through my insurance. I have already notified my insurance and informed them of the awful service.

Although I waited for 30mins for my scheduled visit, the experience was great. Gloria was efficient but kind. Asked me a ton of good questions about my issue. This was my first experience ever at any sort of convenience care and I will certainly be back!

My first visit ever to a Minute Clinic. There was no wait. I was seen, got a flu shot, and left with antibiotics in hand all in 25 minutes I was done and leaving the building. I’ve never experienced Care so quickly in my life. It didn’t even feel rushed. The NP (Gloria) is very sweet.

Awful experience. DO NOT TRUST FOR TRAVEL ADVICE. Provider insisted on ignoring much of the guidance on CDCs website when deciding what to prescribe for travel health. Do your own research on what vaccines you need for travel, and go elsewhere!!

Very poor service by NP Vivian Tan at 6480 Old Waterloo Rd, Elkridge, MD. She prescribed some combo ointment that did not even exist in the Market. Onsite Pharmacy did not tell me until I waited for almost an hour thinking the prescription was being worked on. I had to go back to the minute clinic. Nurse Practitioner Vivian Tan reordered a different medication. It took about 30 minutes to show up in the onsite pharmacys system and after waiting for another 30-45 minutes, I was told the insurance does not cover the medication and that it needed prior authorization, but the clinic does not do a prior authorization and I needed to go to my primary care physician for pre-authorization, so guess what the reason for my going to the clinic was not taken care of but was charged $100 in addition to wasting 2.5 hours of my time. What a poor service with both clinic and onsite pharmacy. I will never ever visit another CVS minute clinic again. We need real medical doctors in those clinics not nurse practitioners.

I arrived at 9 am on Saturday when the hours indicate they opened. Finally at 9:17 the CVS store manager walked by and I asked him if anyone was working the clinic and he said he didnt know he would call someone to find out. At 9:27 am he came back and said he was not able to reach the regional manager and had no idea. The funny part is at 9:52 am I got a text that said I was next in line, so I guess they decided to show up for work and open the clinic an hour late.

Not only does the physician prescribe me the wrong thing. The pharmacy is out of the rx. How on earth are they still practicing?!

Awful. They tell you to hold your place in line by signing in online. I had a 12:09 appointment and stood waiting for almost 2 hours because my time was pushed back then back again then a lunch break. I will never use this place again and definitely not recommend anybody go here.
