Needed to get my flu shot - was in the area and decided to stop by and see if I could get in. Within 10 minutes I was seen and got the shot. I asked if by any chance Covid Pfizer boosters were available- YES - 5 minutes later after filling out the forms got that also. Fast efficient service - saved me some time on my day off.

I have shared experiences with other reviewers in this blog regarding cancelled appointments and lengthy telephone waits. I am impressed with Dr. Geller Siobhan Yoshida, NP but am frustrated that after numerous patient portal messages and voicemail requests, I have waited a month for results of an endocardiogram that was recommended after an abnormal EKG. With extensive family heart issues, I would expect prompt feedback - especially after submitting messages through their website and voicemails I am patched into. The experience Im having with Centennial is not all bad, but it furthers my impression that out of network doctors provide consistently better service.

I needed a work release from the Dr pending my lab results and they carelessly had their front desk receptionist sign the note. I had to insist that the Dr sign it or my manager would not accept it. They are really careless because the Dr then said to the receptionist that she should not have signed it because she personally didn’t even get a chance to look at my lab work results yet. I needed the note and was willing to wait cause I needed it that day. They don’t want to bother with you and want to get rid of you quickly without any concern about what’s going on in your life. I had to find another primary care center that’s more attentive and with better communication.

I had a telehealth visit scheduled for a 4:45 time slot. I logged in at the required time, and 20 minutes later, I am still waiting. And they stop answering the phones at 4pm, so I cant get through to anyone. It wouldnt be so bad, but Im 7 months pregnant, and may possibly need a prescription, so now I have to wait until Monday. If they couldnt keep the appointment, a phone call would have been appreciated. And to go to urgent care is going to be considerably more expensive, not cool at all.

I guess I give 4 stars rather than 5 because of their poor telephone answering system. I have been with CMG for several decades, but calling in has always been problematic. I will spare you the details, but the usual recordings, long waits, drops, looped transfers, etc. Once you get to where you need to be the service is very good, the professional staff is very good, and I have been happy with the services over the years. Their online system, like many others is far from perfect, but their healthcare and administrative staff are all very courteous and consistently helpful.

Just making a call to this practice involves 5-10 minutes for someone to pick up, an operator who speaks rapidly or cant speak English, and tranfers to voice mails sometimes answered and sometimes not. The office manager and her team up front are extremely generous, attentive, and kind. On Friday afternoon, just before Memorial Day weekend, I was stuck in traffic and running late for my appointment. I had taken leave from work to be able to go to my appointment, but traffic was awful and there was no way to get there on time. I called their office and they said for me to just drive there safely and theyd try to work me in to see the doctor. When I finally arrived, and was super stressed, they were so kind and understanding. They brought me cold water to drink and helped me to calm down. Dr. Geller was thorough in examining my health and did not rush me out of there. The entire experience was wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend their practice. I have used both of their Urgent care sites in the past too, and my experiences have been consistent. The staff they hire really cares about people and they work hard to ensure we have a positive experience.

I am very happy with Centennial Medical Group. Dr. Gibbons is my primary care doctor. He listens to me, spends as much time as I need , is very thorough, and most of all knowledgeable!! I also like the fact that I can make appointments at the First Call Office on Johns Hopkins Rd., Fulton, MD.. Dr. Gibbons has appointments at that office on Fridays which is very convenient, and closer to home for me. The staff at both offices has always been very helpful and pleasant to me. I recently signed up for the Concierge Program and I am very happy with my decision. It allows me easier access for appointments, doctors and much more.

Been going to this place for a couple of years now. Things were fine until the last two years or so. The staff are very nice and professional, so no issues there. Two of the nurses are exceptional (better than most doctors I have seen anywhere), so again no problem there. However the other two nurses that I have seen on different occasions were very incompetent. I dont think they properly followed many of the protocols when seeing a patient. In fact, one nurse coughed into her hand right in front of me and then started to examine me without washing her hands. I was dumb founded to say the least. On two separate appointments, I had to wait for over an hour each time just to go inside the examination room only to be seen by the doctor for less than 2-3 minutes. I felt completely rushed and felt the examination was not thorough at all. Based on MY PERSONAL experience, I am very unhappy with the service here and am looking forward to changing providers where there is more efficiency, better knowledge, less delays, and better protocols. I am sure many people have had good experiences here. Unfortunately, in my case, I cannot say the same.

The practice appears to have outgrown its capacity to treat patients with compassion. I cannot see my regular doctor for months because he participates in their concierge program. The concierge program charges patients additional money out of pocket on top of normal fees/insurance to have reasonable access to your PCP. Because he participates in this program, his availability for regular patients is severely limited. I recently needed a prescription filled which was sent to my pharmacy to be filled; however I received a phone call stating I had to schedule an appointment or my prescription would not be filled again. I made the appointment while on that call. Centennial Medical Group either did not record the appointment or lost it. I called the practice the day of my appointment because I was worried I had not received a confirmation call. First off, I couldnt reach a human to confirm my appointment. My only option was to leave a message. Secondly, when I was contacted, the person I spoke to had an attitude. My appointment was at 11:30 and she was able to get me in at 11am. When I informed her that I couldnt make the 11am appointment, she said Well, it doesnt matter that we dont have the appointment because you couldnt make it anyway. It is only a 30 minute difference. The next availability of my doctor wasnt until at least January.Ive received no apology or an attempt on their behalf to fix the problem. If you call the practice, there is a message that is sure to tell patients that they will be charged a $45 fee if they cancel the appointment within 24 hours. They want to hold patients accountable but do not want to hold themselves accountable. This practice treats their patients like cattle and they have turned a problem (poor doctor availability) into a money making venture. Good luck trying to be treated like a person with Centennial Medial Group. I am looking for a new doctor.

I love Dr. Debra Curtis and she is the reason I go to this practice. However, their referral process is terrible. Unfortunately, my insurance requires me to have a referral to see a specialist and due to my health problems, I see several of them. Every time I need a referral it is difficult to obtain it and extremely frustrating. The other day, I realized one day prior to my Cardiologist appointment that I forgot to get my referral. The wonderful young lady at my Cardiologist office offered to try to contact the office to obtain it. Despite her efforts that started early in the morning, she never received the referral or a return phone call from the individual that handles it. I had to reschedule my appointment. I spent many years of my career working and managing medical offices. Processing a referral is not that time consuming and not that difficult. Centennial Medical Group needs to make improvements in their referral process. Their phone system needs to improve as well.

Nice staff, timely service in Primary care office. Seemed caring and were thorough. Their facility left a lot to be desired. Now, the offices appear OK. Definitely not high quality but overall presentable. I truly question the cleanliness of the facility. If my exam room is a fair example of the rest of the facility, well, its just disgusting!!! Honestly, look at the pictures. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Need I say more? Stains on ceiling, torn up tiles (how do you do that??) Fluid stains on the floor (???- yuck!) Filth on top of the trash can and around the edges of the room. Cover on exam table torn open. How can any of this be sanitary? I felt like I deeded to take a bath in sanitizer after leaving that room. If this is an example of the attention to detail this medical practice brings to the community, it makes me question the quality of their care. DISGUSTING!!!!

I hate money hungry medical groups. I originally went in for a physical but I was told I cant do a physical on first visit and will pay a $25 copay to say “hi” to my doctor and reschedule another physical visit. I found that odd, but I agreed. Then I told the doctor I suffered from bad seasonal allergy and she told me they had an allergy department in the same building. I went ahead to schedule an appointment and the allergy nurse, I think her name was Diane or Diana, told me that I will need an allergy test. She also told me she will can my insurance company to verify, and I agreed. When she called the insurance company they apparently told her that if my allergy test was administered as an office visit, then I will only pay $25 copay, but if it wasnt with an office visit then I will have to pay 30% of whatever the test costs. I told the nurse that I would rather see an allergist since my insurance require me to pay $40 flat copay for any specialists. Diane didnt want me to leave, as they were trying to make money off me, she then proceeded to lie to me and reassure me that well the insurance told her I will only have to pay a $25 copay with them so I should stay and get my allergy tests done with them. I believed her, since she reassured me that she called to verify. She then proceeded to get a doctor who was available to see me and wrote me down as an office visit. I paid the $25 copay and began my test. Two weeks later, I received a letter from Centennial saying I owe them $104 and I called. I asked to speak with Diane, and she tried to twist it around saying coverage is not guaranteed and that I needed to take it up with my insurance. I called my insurance and they said Centennial billed me for both an allergy test and a doctor’s visit separately, which wasnt what Diane told me. I was told by Diane that the test will be administered during an office visit. The allergy department wasn’t willing to do anything about the mix-up even though Diane actually apologized to me for misinforming me. I even reminded her that she stopped me from going to an actual allergist; she also apologized for doing so. I am very disgusted with Centennial and their allergy department. They stopped me from only paying $40 copay with an allergist and took a gamble on my insurance. Even after informing them that with an allergist, I will only have to pay $40, but they conned me into staying and now I am stuck with a $104 bill plus the $25 copay I paid for no reason. They dont care about their patients. They only care about money. Find somewhere else if you can.

I have been going to Dr. Geller all my life. Over the years it has been extremely difficult to get in with him so I have had to take whatever doctor I could get. Every time I got comfortable with a doctor they would move on to their own practice and Id have to find another doctor. I stayed because my entire history has been at this practice. You would think that the staff would see your regular doctor is a certain person and would do their best to get you in with them or perhaps stop taking new patients if the doctor cant even take his current patients anymore. Now the practice is so big I have been calling for 2 days and cant get someone to answer the phone or call me back with test results. When I saw Dr. Geller I would get a call the very day he got the test results. One of the reasons I stayed with the practice over the years and recommended to so many people who now go there. Practices grow for a reason. Word of mouth. I have been having so many issues lately, with scheduling availability and Dr. availability /preference to getting someone on the phone that I am now looking to switch to another practice. The fact that it takes 5 min to get through the long automated machine and still cant get someone on the phone or to return a phone call is just beyond me. I shouldnt even have to call. The doctor should be calling. I shouldnt have to make another apt to get my results.

It took 1 day for the US Mail to send my paperwork to the surgicenter that I had to fill out, but it has been 5 days now since my pre-op and all the info is STILL not at the Surgicenter. I arrived at 7:40 while others arrived after 8 am and were sent in prior to me. I saw Dr. Dua walking the halls of the office and meeting with staff members in the office behind the front desk and no one even had the courtesy to bring me in, take my vitals and place me in a room. Around 8:25, I asked the nurse why I had to wait so long even though I should be first and she informed me that Dr Dua was late even though he was walking in front of me for over 10 minutes. Edit: I called June 2018 and was told the laser clinic is now closed. Laser Clinic Review only: My largest problem is that they run this cosmetic laser office but there is NO direct line to the laser office and no info or pricing to be found on services. Its like they are running a speakeasy laser clinic where the only info you can get is through word of mouth and rumor or by knocking on the door and providing the password (your money). They provide no information online and no pricing online for the laser services. If you want/need info for the laser services you have to jump through hoops being transfered and leaving messages and waiting for calls back, if they ever come. Keep this in mind if you buy a groupon for this place. They will gladly make you an appointment but that is the only thing they can do. The front desk people have zero information about the laser services. When you point out the inconvenience of their lack of information they become defensive and unfriendly. Ive tried getting info about various laser services on 3 separate occasions over the last year and its always the same run-around and lack of info.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. HORRIBLE place. Do not buy any groupons or deals. They are extremely RUDE (just like all the other reviews state) – from the doctors down to the receptionists!! Worst money we have ever spent and will never be going back. They claim they provide courtesy reminder calls however my husband never received one. NOW, according to them the number they were calling gave a fast busy signal, so why wouldn’t they update the patients records when he came in the first time?? This was on the sixth appointment mind you. Clearly no one is doing their job if they are receiving errors on their end – ALL medical centers would ask for updated information if they clearly saw they were getting an error or having problems reaching a patient. And it wasn’t even our fault they had the wrong number, just like they spelled his last name wrong and I had to correct it because they couldn’t find him in the system when I called to schedule the second appointment. They also don’t have a missed appointment fee, they literally take one of the $100 (15 minute) sessions from your package deal BUT NO ONE TELLS YOU THIS WHEN YOU SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENTS – they just have you come in, then try and get you to buy ANOTHER package deal. Apparently my husband signed something agreeing to this, but he didnt realize what it said, SO BEWARE of this ludicrous policy. He missed that appointment because there was no courtesy reminder call, due to lack of proper record keeping! Clearly they purposely do not call with reminders so they can keep their $100 without performing any service. Very shady office practices and they are totally unwilling to take accountability for their errors or to try to work to resolve concerns. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!!!

I call and he knows who I am and has been very very efficient in scheduling me and my family for all of our visits. When you call and speak to ALON, you really feel like the CMG Team is there for you!!!! I am currently undergoing treatment at HOPKINS for my brain tumor. I have a team at HOPKINS. But my CENTER is Dr. Geller. He is in the LOOP with all of my procedures. It is a great comfort to have a doctor who gets involved and is very proactive. CLAP CLAP to Dr. Geller. IF YOU WANT ONE the BEST - GO CMG!!!!

Today, I got right in, they saw me right away. The P.A. I saw was helpful and took her time with me.

The service was quick and professional. All my questions were answered and enough time was set aside for a complete diagnosis.

This is an excellent practice except that the best physician in the group--Dr. Richard Kolodrubetz--left to go to MedStar. I have been treated by Dr. Kolodrubetz for over 20 years and I could never have found a more sensitive, caring, respectful physician. He listened to what I said and gave me honest feedback. He took the time to look things up on the web in 10 seconds and print out things for me to read and directions to follow. I am following him to MedStar, but this will be a huge loss for the Centennial Medical Group. Their receptionists are good but tend to shut down their computers early so if you need to make another appt after 4:30pm--you cannot do it while you are there, you have to call back and the phones are always busy. I give it 4 STARS for competence and caring.

I have been with centennial medical group for about 5 years and watched them grow into Maple Lawn. Through out the time I have been treated with care and respect by Doctors, Nurses and all employees. The Doctors talk with you rather than at you! They really care and take the time you need.

A staff member was so rude to me over the phone! The office was closed 40+ minutes after my scheduled appointment time. When I finally got a call back, I was told that my definition of late and her definition of late were different. Indeed! I will never again do business with this organization.
