My first visit! Staff was awesome, reminding me several times about my appointment. The hygienist was thorough, took her time and was very “gentle”. Doctor covered things that he was concerned about and was able to show me pictures of my teeth, live, to help me understand. Office was comfortable and calming and staff was really nice. A great experience.

The team at Premier Dentistry is exceptional. Their genuine care and concern are exemplified by everyone that works there. Dr. Shane Porter’s talents are also exceptional in all areas.He is always looking out for the patients best interest and makes suggestions but never forces a decision.I really appreciate this group for my dental care and always recommend them when I can.

After relocating here almost 18 months ago I did extensive research on dental practices in the Eagle area. I am retired…translation….once you lose your employer’s dental insurance everything seems to go wrong….Long story short….After getting a global assessment of my teeth Dr. Porter and I put together an extensive dental treatment plan to repair or replace EVERY tooth in my mouth….so far I have had 18 visits and will finish my 1 year anniversary in mid-November…I only have 2 more visits next May on the final three implants that we started last June-Let me simply say they are the best…after spending 40+ years in healthcare I think I know what to look for in a practice….Most important is the doctor’s credentials…Shane Porter has excellent training and experience and is in the top 1% compared to his peer group. His office recently expanded in Eagle and they moved to a modern, spacious and well equipped facility…Dr. Porter’s support staff have been with him for a long time (so at least he treats people well) and it shows from his front office staff to his Physcian Assistant (Aida) and everyone in between-Considering the scope of work required in my mouth I was a little anxious putting all my eggs in one basket…I can unequivocally say my anxiety did not last long and I give Premier Dentistry of Eagle my highest recommendation…you will not be disappointed. It’s funny that I only have a few treatments left and will only go there for cleanings and checkups…I never thought I’d miss going to the dentist-If you are looking for a dental practice don’t take my word for it…do your own research and make an appointment to speak to Dr. Porter and his staff…I think you will come away like I did…I selected an ethical, professional well equipped practice with caring and competent individuals-

Coming from a little bit of a dental background it was so nice to come into an office and feel COMPLETELY at ease from the start of my appointment with the front office, to the hygienist, to the Dr. This was my NP Exam visit so I didn’t meet the chairside assistants, but judging from the rest of the office I’m sure they are equally as friendly and knowledgeable. Cross contamination protocol was very evident. I made my husband an appt at the end of my visit as I am very confident in this office.

Dont be late and dont expect anything close to how Dr. Selyer and Melissa treated you. This place is horrible!! I called let them know I was running a few minutes late. I arrived 12 minutes late the hygienist tells me as Im sitting in the chair she can do x-rays but needs a full hour to clean my teeth. I just got up and left. Dr. Seylers normally had my teeth cleaned in 30 minutes. So disappointing premier dentistry is not so premier. Rude girls and horrible service.

I am probably strange but I absolutely love going to the dentist! At least, at premiere dentistry of Eagle. Holly did a great and thorough job of cleaning my teeth. She was gentle to my sensitive gums!Dr. Porter does a very good exam and honestly provides you all of your options.They spotted a hole at the back of my wisdom tooth. It’s been there a long time but no one has ever spotted it before I came to this group. So glad to know that it’s there and what my options are.My teeth feel clean and smooth!

Great staff and service. The place runs efficiently with care for COVID protocols. Dr. Porter is a super dentist who is personable and highly trained. Plus, they have that great machine that makes crowns in just a few minutes meaning I can get major dental work done in one visit. Highly recommend.

If you’d been a client of the previous dentist, Dr Seyler, you will be extremely disappointed. The office books as many people as they can, thus the wait will be long. My story - I have been a client of Dr Seyler forever (5 stars everyday). I had gone in before Dr Seyler retired for a cracked crown. Melissa had quickly gotten back to me to let me know it was approved and fully covered. Then the new DR started. I went in for a consultation which I had to pay for (never before). Waited 30 minutes! After the appointment and numerous calls asking for info, I was finally told after 2 months that nothing was covered and I had to pay out of pocket as well as the consult. No offer to re-submit or challenge, although it had been fully approved 4 months before???!My family will never go back!!

Shortly thereafter, I was in the examining room. Dr. Porter was friendly and professional, and while I cant comment on his surgical skills because I didnt have a need, he was knowledgeable. He didnt try to sell me any unnecessary procedures. My teeth required some extensive cleaning/scaling and both of the dental hygienists were outstanding. They were both extremely professional, friendly, and most of all gentle. LOL. I believe we have found our family dentist as our son and wife will be coming to this office soon.

Had to edit this. Dr. P is awesome, but his billing department is horrendous. When I called to setup my appointment I specifically asked if my insurance was in network. They confirmed they were, paid $200+ upfront after they called and quoted my insurance would pay. Months later I get a bill for $400 followed with emails and calls to get it paid. I called my insurance and they told me it was that high because they are out of network. I called their office back questioning why I was told they were in network with a response of we never said that. You were told we were out of network followed by a we can offer you a 5% discount....I let them know I had made arrangements with another office that was in network prior to finding out Dr. P had moved offices. I would have stayed there if I knew I would be paying so much. They told me it would be cut in 2 payments or they would send to collections.

Friendly staff! I have never had a more painless root canal in my life. Not only did they give me discounts, they even had the tooth made while I was sitting in the chair. After about 2 hours I had a brand new crown and painless tooth. Shane is a great Dentist and was willing to teach and show me some things he was looking at (I love to learn).

Shane Porter is an amazing dentist. He did my first root canal. I was very worried about it based on what people have told me. However, Porter was very professional the entire time and didnt cause me any pain or discomfort. Hes also very personable compared to other dentist where there goal is to just get you out quick as possible.

Dr. Porter and his staff are very knowledgeable and very professional yet quite personable. My 14 year old recently had all 4 wisdom teeth out and it went quickly and smoothly. I have had an extraction and am getting an implant. I appreciate that Dr. Porters knowledge base is broad enough that he can provide a variety of services and still do them well.

Have brought my 3 year old and 1 1/2 year old in here and they actually got them to stay still and enjoy dental work. My 3 year old daughter is always asking to brush her teeth and my 1 1/2 year old stole my floss this morning. If that isnt a miracle I dont know what is! When I was seen, they did a really good job cleaning my teeth and never hurt me, had the tv on as well as conversed with me and made it a really easy and enjoyable experience. Never smiled with my teeth in pictures ever since i was a child and was always self conscious about them, Ive had a lot of work done on my teeth to try to fix the discoloration in them but was never really happy with the work other dentists had done.
