WATCH OUT, they probably dont take your insurance. Virtually every dentist in the Salt Lake area is in network with every dental plan but NOT Dr. Jarman. had a basic cleaning and just got a bill for $200. I called the office and they said they arent in network with United and some other dental plans but cant be bothered to tell new patients this nor make any attempt to check your insurance before you show up for your first visit. The lack of communication is so disappointing and unprofessional. With hundreds of other dentists in the area that actually take insurance I certainly wont be back to this one.

The staff was SO helpful. They made me a same day apt and went above and beyond to get my insurance information figured out. They don’t take EMI insurance.

Dr. Jarman has been my dentist since 1995! He always makes sure I understand exactly what is going on with my teeth. He is conservative and fair in the work he does. Because he keeps an open dialog I know I am in good hands! The staff have been with him since my first appointment and it’s a fun welcoming environment!

I have bee going to Dr. Jarman for the past 10 years and have been so happy with everything about him as a doctor as well as with his staff. After I get any dental work done I always get a phone call that day, by Dr. Jarman to make sure I am doing okay. His hygienists are incredible and everyone in the office knows me by name. As I get older I think what I like most if all is his gentle his staff are while they work on my teeth.

Dr Jarman is the most kind and caring dentist you will find. He thoroughly explains everything and truly wants to improve your dental health. I have had a lot of dental problems due to a sports injury. After any difficult procedure, he has always made a personal phone call to see how I am doing. Their office staff is great and you won’t be disappointed!

I have been a long time patient since 2003. A friend referred us since we were new to Utah at that time. I am nervous by nature to be at the dentist and Dr. Jarman and his staff always make me feel safe and confident. I just returned from a two hour appointment and they gave me headphones to listen to my music, which helped calm me, and they did all of my work in one sitting. I highly recommend Dr. Jarman and his office staff!

9-25-18I have been a patient of Dr. Jarman’s eleven years. Our orthodontist recommended him. Because we pay for dental care, I compared costs on routine procedures of three dentists. He was reasonable. His receptionists, assistants and dental hygienists have been with him a long time, which tells me he is a good boss and businessman besides being a good dentist. I am greeted by name and with a smile. I wait a very short time before begin my cleaning or procedure. Dr. Jarman makes a phone call to check on patients after a difficult procedure like a crown, etc. I feel he is kind, patient and especially capable. Boy I was a nervous wreck today when I went to see Dr Jarman. I’m a private person and don’t like to discuss my teeth and what bothers me. When the sweet hygienist took me back and gave me my 2 Kleenex to hold and roll around in my palms and when Dr Jarman came in with that huge smile of his I knew it would be just fine. He was so kind and gentle and assured me he could help with my problem. I left smiling and so much happier. So glad my son recommended him to me!

These guys are awesome! Clean office, friendly and professional staff, careful hygienists, and Dr. Jarman takes good care of his patients, always going the extra mile to make sure we are comfortable. He has been my dentist since I was a child. He always has done a great job and they will always scramble if you have an emergency. I just had a crown done and they always do it quickly and take the time to explain why and what they are doing. The staff there is always friendly and will typically remember you from visit to visit. Pricing is reasonable enough that for me, without dental insurance it is still affordable to do the standard bi-annual cleaning and checkup.

Broke my front tooth on a Saturday and the Dr. came in and fixed it beautifully! He is so kind. Best Dentist around! The staff is unbeatable. Highly recommend it!

Doctor Jarman is a very patient and professional dentist. He really takes his time to help you understand the problem you are having with your teeth and goes out of his way to solve it. Best office I have been too! This office prides itself on your understanding. They explain everything they are doing and what you can to do help prevent. Which I loved! They talked me through all my xrays. And came up with a treatment plan. You are greeted kindly and respectfully. All the staff is also patient and will take the time to answer and explain any questions you have until you understand. They were all pleasant to talk to and very personable. They address any concerns you have, again with patience and kindness. I never felt talked down to or that I was being inconvenient. They made me feel important, like what I had to say or ask was important. In the end I would 100% recommend this office to anyone. My 2 experiences have been phenominal! They are very efficient!

Love! Love! Love! I must admit, I get a little nervous for the dentist and hadnt been to one for a while. I started experiencing some pain and Dr. Jarman got me in right away - and I was even a first time patient! He and his staff were patient and kind. Dr. Jarman even called me that evening to make sure everything was going ok since I had quite a bit of work done. Just had a follow up cleaning yesterday and he took time to come in a check to make sure things were still doing okay from my work the previous week. Not nervous anymore to start going to a dentist on a regular basis. I would recommend this office to everyone!

I honestly was amazed on the kind nature the staff handled my care. Informed me what they were doing and really made me feel considered and made me feel they cared for my comfort during the process. Example being telling me what they were doing...why they were doing it...and telling me advice such as my tendency to press my teeth together. My 7 year old son was “tongue-tied” and it was bothering him. After meeting with an ENT doctor who wanted to perform surgery with anesthesia at a surgical center, I called Dr. Jarman’s office to see if he could perform the tongue release in his office. They were able to get us in the next day and used a laser to perform the tongue release. It was not painful for my 7 year old son, and required no anesthesia. Dr. Jarman was very gentle and it only took 15 minutes. Dr. Jarman and his staff are extremely kind, caring people and we recommend him to everyone we know! I posted a picture on Dr. Jarman’s website of the first time my son has ever been able to stick his tongue out. Thank you Dr. Jarman and staff! My son loves being able to lick suckers and ice cream cones!

I would never recommend.Had me do a procedure over two days because of their schedule, a procedure that I was told would be covered by my insurance and it wasn’t. Of which I now get to pay for twice. Unwilling to do anything but stiff me with a 650$ bill, when all I went in for was a cleaning! And all without the slightest apology!Do not use this dentist!

This dentist has done my family for some twenty years. Never have had any complaints, and he has done exceptional and over the top service on a number of times. He has always been fair and stood behind his work.

Just had a great experience with Dr Jarman and his staff. Over the last holiday, I had a severe toothache emerge, called on Monday about noon, they got me in Tuesday late afternoon. It turned out that I needed a root canal and much to my surprise, he did the procedure the same day and stayed late to do it the same day. I was expecting a root canal would be needed and had assumed that I would have to come in another day for that procedure once the problem was diagnosed. He is very thorough, explains exactly what he needs to do and gets your authorization before proceeding with the work. Even though I hadnt been in for a check-up for 5 years (yes--shame on me), he only chided me kindly. Overall great experience. He and staff are also great with kids--my grandsons (3 and 4 years old) were in last week and they were great with the kids.

I called this place to get my tooth fix and I requested for American Sign Language and they denied me interpreter services. I’m deaf and I required an ASL interpreter service. I will contact Better Business Bureau for their discrimination against me.
