Norma got me in immediately to repair a chipped tooth. Dr Smith was great. Both were very compassionate and knowledgeable. I trust them completely. Both went above and beyond at the end of their work day on a Saturday so I could attend a wedding. I’m so appreciative and grateful for their time and attention to make me comfortable. Would never go anywhere else for care.

I had to have a crown placed today with Dr.Bennett. Dr. Cunningham is the best dentist I have ever worked with. His expertise is off the charts. Additionally, he is patient, caring and spends time with his patients. He is the only dentist I would trust for implants or any difficult dental procedure. It is difficult getting an appointment but he is well worth the wait. Excellent experience.

I’ve been going to Grove Dental for 7 years now. My appointment went well, people were nice but it was disappointing when I went to go talk to the lady that gets approval for service. I’ve always gone to Grove dental with ease and comfort if I didn’t have all the money for what I need to get done that they always set up payment plans which was nice because you know you could always have your health taken care of but now I was told if you don’t have the funds to pay up front you have to apply for care credit and if you don’t get approved for that you’re basically on your own and don’t get your health taking care of. So left there feeling very disappointment. There’s a lot of people in this world living check by check.

Dr. Sana is awesome! Put in a comprehensive bridge to close a gap. Incredible attention to detail and an excellent experience from start to finish. Results are perfect. Staff is friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Sana.

I have been very pleased with my general dental care from Dr. Islam as well as the hygienists who perform the cleanings. I recently had a procedure by Dr. Cunningham and his team who couldn’t have been more polite. I had many questions that the doctor and staff patiently answered and there was no pressure in making decisions. The follow up care was also well explained. A shout out to the office staff who have been very helpful with billing/insurance issues. The only downside is the 20 mile distance to my home.

Dr Bennett and his assistant Norma are fantastic. They are both very considerate and explain, in detail, the whole procedure of replacing my veneers with crowns. Both are also extremely meticulous. The temporary caps that Norma made are just beautiful.

This used to be a great place to go. But in the last year they have dropped senior citizen discounts, if you have to pay out of your pocket they have dropped the cash discount. Now they want payment on the day of service. I have been a customer here for approximately 35 years so they had my loyalty, what happened to theirs?

I absolutely love my dentist Dr Freebeck and his assistant Mary. I’ve been going to Grove Dental for years and my children to.I do not like having to pay out of pocket before the insurance company pays. We never needed to do that before. Too corporate for me.

Dr. Islam and Michelle did an amazing job of supporting me through the process of addressing two broken teeth from a fall I had. They were compassionate, patient and extremely skilled. It was a several step process, and every step went very well. They also kept me very informed and explained things well. The final result looks great- two beautiful front crowns. Even the two rounds of temporaries Michelle had to make looked great so I didnt need to feel self-conscious while the finals were being made at the lab. Highly recommend both Dr. Islam and Michelle!

My family has been going to Grove Dental for 20 years. One thing I like about Grove Dental is all services are in one office, pediatric, oral surgery, etc.The pediatric dentist, Dr Cabana is the best! My son just turned 18 and doesn’t want to leave Dr Cabana…. but knows he has to now see another one of Grove’s wonderful dentists.

I don’t like the changes the office made since the COVID-19 pandemic. They’ve dropped both of the senior citizen and cash payment discounts. But I go there every 6 months primarily to see Dr. Cunningham, periodontist to track the status of my receding gums. He is very thorough with his examination and has helped stabilize my gums. I am very happy with his expertise and work.

Dr Islam and his staff are great! My husband of 94 years young said while I was being seen several people asked if they could help him to the nearest bathroom or just to check on him! He said these people are genuinely nice and caring! I second that have never had a bad experience here and I actually look forward to dental work! After many years of not so nice experiences I am truly appreciative of this group.

My mother and I have been patients of Grove Dental in Downers Grove for almost 20 years and were happy with the services. However, with the time or maybe with a new management things got changed. We used to see Sara, hygienist for many years, but after Sara left (in December 2020), we started seeing Stephanie and she really did a great job, so we made our next appointment with her in the six months (June 2021). As always, prior to our appointment in June, I got a reminder call from Grove Dental informing us about upcoming cleaning appointment and the receptionist said absolutely nothing that Stephanie had left Grove Dental in March. I guess someone in Grove Dental decided that we are going to see another hygienist without letting us know. No need to say that it was a surprise for us and I asked to speak with Lynn, office manager. I have nothing against another hygienist, but I believe as a patient I have a right to choose the hygienist I want to see. When I said this to Lynn, she was very unhappy and not friendly at all. She tried to blame me by saying that it was very insulting for me to reject seeing another hygienist. I believe that they could avoid this situation by informing me that my hygienist is no longer there and ask me who I want to see. But instead, they just decided to assign me to another hygienist. It was surprising for me to see how Lynn, an office manager, reacted to this situation - she rolled her eyes and made unhappy faces - I do not think its appropriate to the office manager, especially in mid 50s. I guess I need to make a decision whether I want to continue using their services in the future.

Great experience as always! The dentists take their time, answer all questions, and explain everything they do.

The office front desk was efficient and friendly. I was impressed that we were in and out in vert good time. Dr. Cabana did a wonderful job explaining the x-ray results and recommendations for dental care. The one suggestion that I have is to make the new patient forms available on line to complete.

I have been going to Grove Dental for 8 years and have never had a complaint. Dr. Freebeck is amazing and does everything he can to make you comfortable. Don’t go anywhere else for your dental needs.

My family have been regular patients for decades. The dentists and hygenists here are generally good, and the admin staff is mostly helpful and pleasant. However, there has been a recent turnover in their dentist staff, and many of the familiar faces have retired or left the practice.This, along with the recent take-over of Grove Dental by some other company has resulted in a couple of new policies, the annoying one for me having to do with the requirement to pay up front immediately after treatment, instead of waiting for the monthly billing statement. This creates problems, since my children dont carry credit cards, despite being able to drive themselves to their own appointments.Evidently Grove Dental doesnt trust any of their patients any more; instead of acting on the few who may have been delinquent on their payments, they now impose unnecessarily inconvenient requirements on all their patients.

After over 50 years of being terrified at the dentist, I was so pleased when I left. They respected my fears and did an amazing job. Im so grateful. Thank you. 😊

The hygienist team is great and the while I have personally only worked with Dr. Islam (who is great), the rest of my family have also enjoyed their experiences, to the extent going to the dentist can be considered enjoyable. I had a toothache that came out of nowhere on an old root canal that turned into black, purple and blue gums. The pain was worse than labor. Turned out to be an infection and abscess. Dr. Moss and Dr. Cunningham (Downers Grove) and their staff were ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. Options were provided and I elected to remove the tooth and was able to have the extraction immediately. My son and I have been coming here for years. Excellent service. I truly value their service and group of professionals.

My first appointment - dental hygienist Cici was friendly and made me feel at ease. I would definitely let her clean my teeth again. I left my first appointment at Grove with no discomfort. I am accustomed to leaving dental appointments in pain. Dr. Bennett was friendly and answered all my questions. Dr. Bennett explained topics in laymans terms, which is helpful and reassuring. The entire office staff was friendly and helpful. I could see smiles under their masks. I highly recommend Grove Dental!

Not a fan of overbooking. I had to wait 15Minutes and watch while other people, who arrived later than me, were called for their appointment. I would accept 7-8 minutes, but 15 seemed too long. This was especially annoying since I received several text messages and phone calls to remind me of my appointment.Once called, the dentist and hygienist were good.

Ive been coming here for several years and dont have any complaints. I recommend Grove to friends.Actually I do have a minor complaint. The web site used to have a link for future appointments. That doesnt work anymore. It should be updated or repaired. They write appointments on cards. Its sooo 20th century.

I have been going to Dr. Freebeck for more than 15 years. When I tell others, I LOVE my dentist, I always get that look because people do not typically feel that way. I knew relationships were important to him the first time I sat in that chair. He is honest yet so caring and supportive to what I need. I had many bad experiences before meeting him so he really had his work cut out to gain my trust. I see him every 6 months without hesitation. If I have to have old work redone, he makes is absolutely ok. I trust him! he has made dental visits successful and enjoyable.

My insurance company gave a name to a periodontist that was terrible I went here and I still have most of my teeth because of Grove Dental unlike what the other dentist said. Run!! All my teeth crumbled!! Within months then within 2 yrs all had to be redone. Dont get crowns, veneers or anything here!! They will chase u legally but Im going to fight back!! The law is u dont pay until they complete their service to a satisfactory level and the customer is happy!! Remember that folks!!

Just made an appointment at grove dental in Downers Grove. They told me they were out of network for my insurance which is ok. Then the 2nd receptionist I spoke with told me that since I was a first time patient I had to have a screening by Federal Law. My two uncles are dentists and my cousin. This sounded very odd to me. So I called Tower dental in down town downers grove to see if they were in network. I later called back grove dental to see why they told me it was federal law to have a screening. Since it doesnt seem to be the case. At first the receptionist Annie never heard of this, but then got back on the phone and told me it was the law. Either way my insurance is out of network there, so I will be going somewhere else. Will check with my family when I can reach them to double check if I was lied to. Unfortunately those family members left the state.

Very clean and I felt very comfortable bringing our daughter to get her teeth cleaned. Shes 8 so she went back by herself. Chairs spaced out to make sure we give everyone 6ft. Temp checks when we arrived. In and out in less than 1 hr
