The dental hygienist Jackie was exceptional. She was very thorough and gentle for my cleaning. She took a lot of time explaining the best practices and how to take care of my teeth. I will be back for work with the doctor to add bonding to my teeth, take care of a couple cavities and get a custom mold retainer since I do grind my teeth at night. Great experience so far! I am very sensitive, so it was great to feel comfortable with a great, professional team.

I have felt very safe while receiving dental care at this office in this year of COVID-19. Dr Samee is very skilled and the front office staff is great.

There is a reason Dr. Basciano and her team have nothing but 5-star reviews: theyre absolutely the best at what they do. I traveled 200 miles to have Dr. Basciano remove my old amalgam fillings and she was very honest and helpful during the consultation, reviewing the pros and cons and explaining how the procedure was done. In short, I did the procedure and everything was quick, painless, (dare I say easy?) and actually fun. She even took a picture of me in full mask and dental dam to humor my kids with! Her professionalism, humility, and genuine caring nature were the best Ive experienced in a medical setting. I cant do it justice here on a review board, but she is one of the most outstanding medical providers Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting in person. Its too bad shes not my everyday dentist because of geography. If you have the chance to see her, take it! If youre thinking of removing mercury amalgams, go visit with her and shell give you an honest assessment. Finally, the procedure itself is very cost-effective. Thank you, Dr. B!

Dr. Samees approach is very aggressive. Dr. Basciano never found any cavities, and Dr. Samee found multiple and filled two. After taking my file to another dentist, he said I didnt need any work done at all. Other people in my family had the same experience with aggressive recommendations that other dentists said wasnt necessary.2 stars because the other dentist said Dr. Samee did good work—but it wasnt necessary.

I had deep clean work done. The dentist and assistant both participated. This meant that excess fluid could be drawn from my mouth on a continuous basis and as a consequence not once did I have the uncomfortable sensation of needing to swallow. I was very comfortable. My teeth are quite clean.

Dr Basciano has been my dentist for many years for a good reason. Her staff staff always seem to be on top of every situation. Jan, the hygienist is gentle, thorough and also entertaining-which make teeth cleaning something to look forward too. And, Dr. Marcia-well she helped me through removal of MANY amalgam fillings safely and painlessly, and always offers options, and honest pros and cons for dental issues that come up.

Dr. Basciano is phenomenal! She is a great dentist who truly looks out for her patients. I had the best experience I have ever had with a dental office. The doctors dentistry skills are second to none and he doesn’t pressure patients into treatment. Marcia Basciano is a wonderful professional, an excellent and patient dentist who also is a leader in a natural approach to dentistry. Ive been with her for 25 years. One thing that anyone can notice from a fine physician is the staff. They are friendly, professional and several of them have been with her for as long as Ive been going to her office. And the office has a good vibe. This says so much. Marcia has a great sense of humor, too. She has worked with me with some of my difficult dental issues, and Im most grateful.

I liked the office, of course, because I use to go there when I lived in the area before. Everyone in the office is very nice. I was sad that Marcia retired. I lived in Pittsburgh and had a bad problem with Novocain and did this time too. Hopefully I can get laughing gas like I used to next time. The only negative thing was that it bothered me that the dentist didn’t say please when he asked other office people for things.

We have been going to Dr. Basciano for about eight years. We got her name from another friend and we are forever grateful for this referral. We were looking for another dentist because my son, who was around 9 yrs old at the time, had a horrible experience with another dentist who turned out to be incapable of interacting with children and tried to do the most aggressive treatment possible. My son became very anxious at the thought of having any dentist work on his teeth. We were so happy when we finally came to Dr. Basciano. With her compassion, patience and sense of humor, Dr. Basciano, with Bev working by her side, completely put him at ease. She could read him and knew just what he needed by carefully explaining each step she was going to make, which we all appreciated. It turned out that her method of treating him conservatively was the best solution. We decided to move our whole family over to her practice, making the 40 minute drive worthwhile. We have all had different issues that all have been happily resolved. She surrounds herself with a wonderful staff, Bev, Carolyn, Astrid Jackie, Jan, who are all just as professional, warm, caring, friendly and humorous.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Bascianos for quite sometime. After going to a couple different dentists in the past, not being happy, taking a 7 yr. break due to not being satisfied, I am very pleased with the dental services at Dr. Basciano. I never heard about the problems with mercury in dental care before, I was pleased to get educated and treated with this approach. I feel when I go in for my cleanings and dental procedures I am always treated with up to date state of the art practices in the dental field. Dr. Basciano and staff puts the patients concerns first. She is available and has even come in on her day off when I had a problem. The staff is always their ready to help and serve, helping educate me on my personal dental health.
