My entire family sees Dr. Cain and have done so for 13 years. We followed him to Novant from Atrium. He is always so kind, courteous, attentive and proactive. He always explains everything so we thoroughly understand it. Dr Cain is patient and actually CARES about his patients. He doesn’t make us feel as though his time is more important than our own. We could not ask for a better Physician. He recently, literally, saved my life by getting me to a surgical Oncologist on a days notice and into surgery the next! We love Dr. Brian Cain!!!

This place used to be a good place to go for above average medical care. Now, I feel it is lacking. The doctors care more about what insurance will cover/not cover vs. trying to help you when you are sick. I appreciate them informing me insurance might not cover a test, but give me the option of whether I still want said test. Dont try to poo-poo me into not getting the test. Also- they seem like they are on a time clock rushing to get out the door. The doctor cut me off while I was mid sentence and rushed out the door. Not cool.

Perfect healthcare service as expected for my 3 kids. Highly recommended. Everything on time. No delays. The front service staff were nice and kind.

I have been going to Lakeside Primary Care Speedway ever since I moved to Charlotte 6 years ago. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. During COVID they have followed all sanitation guidelines to keep all the patients safe. Dr. Cain always listens to any concerns I have regarding my health and explain s everything in a clear and concise manner.

Kay love is the best! Had misunderstanding but over all I have had her for 6 years this should say a lot about her as my doctor and me as her patient I wouldn’t change her for the world.

Dr. Trufant and Dr. Love are my excellent team of professionals here. I love their professionalism, kindness and overall, genuine care. I call last week get my husband record update to heart doctor and today find out still not done. Office people are so unorganized this should been done no question ask.

Do not answer any general question or speak in general with Dr. Cain if you do not want to get a bill for it. When I came in for a regular physical and just carried on a conversation with him regarding questions he asked, asked a simple question about blood work, or questioned duplicate medicines on my file I got 3 diagnostic codes sent to the insurance company that did not fall under preventative care. Also, when he suggested I come in for a shingles vaccine I set up an appointment with the nurse practitioner. I got to the office 15 minutes early and after waiting 30 minutes in my running car due to the new Covid policy, I called to ask what the delay was. They then sent a nurse out to ask who ordered the immunization. After telling them Dr. Cain recommended it they then had to order the vaccine which took more time. I would think that with my appointment for the shingles vaccine and my chart being pulled that they could have got all that straightened out prior to my 1:00 arrival.

The staff and doctors at Lakeside Primary Care are exceptional. I have always been able to make an appointment whenever I needed too. All the girls in the office have always been professional and caring.. The nurses are kind and very thorough when updating my records. On the occasions that I have had to have my blood drawn the lab nurses have been wonderful especially when it was difficult to find a vein to draw blood from. The physician I see is Dr. Cain. He has been great to work with. He is a professional when it comes to taking care of his patients. He listens to me and is not afraid to try new ways to handle my health care needs.

I went for my annual physical with Dr. Brain Cain and was then sent a bill in the mail for $101.00. I sent a message to inquire and was told they charged me a second office visit for my blood pressure. I went into my appointment with NO complaint, and NO complaints of my blood pressure. It was Dr. Cain who decided to double charge me and NOT tell me. You have lost anothe patient!! This is not cool and how to treat patients!

Came to Concord from Ohio for a graduation, boyfriend became ill. Took him to urgent care, they were very caring, helpful, and truly concerned for his well being as well as for mind. We needed to go to the emergency room for further treatment, they were able to provide a location that would have all the notes from the urgent care visit and let them know that we were coming.

I started coming here IN 2007, it was across the street from a project I was overseeing at the time. I now live in Fort Mill S.C. but am wiling to make the drive to see Dr. Trufant when I am sick or my yearly physical. I like the fact that he dose not try and force meds on you and has in the past told me of over the counter meds to take. this location has always been quick in and out. and Dr. Trufan is the reason I quit smoking after 26 yrs.

STAY AWAY! I could not be more scared for the general public! These people, most notably, Dr. Scott Trufant, have such a blatant disregard for the health and safety of their so called patients. I am currently working on trying to get everyone shut down. The only thing they care about is money! The office visit payment is much more important than my/your health. They are so absolutely egregiously obvious about it that they dont apologize. They make it very clear that they dont give a ship about you me or anything else but that money! Just look online, just look at these reviews! These people are horrible sadistic morons and they should be burnt on a stake. STAY AWAY!

Went in for a routine anual physical with my doctor Brian Cain which is cover at 100% by my insuance. Get a bill from Novant Heath for an additional $35.18. Contact my insurer and am told that there were additonal services rendered the were not covered. Go to Novant Health and no one can give me an answer as to what the charge[s] are for. Finally after going back and forth with Novant Healths billing department and the office over several months they turned the invoice over to a collection agency. Finally I spoke with Carey S. [wouldnt provide his last name] and was told the additional charge was for discussions with the doctor regarding hypertension which is outside of what the insurance company will pay for. This is the most bogus charge that I have ever heard of from a doctor, how many people are being ripped off by this doctor and Novant Health care that just pay the additional without ever questioning the validity. Well Dr.Cain you just lost a patient.

Thank you for always taking great care of my children and I! Dr. Mah and Dr. Trufant are absolutely amazing! The nurses and staff are amazing as well! Won’t go anywhere else for our medical care!

Dr. Trufont is an excellent Doctor so is Kay Love NP! She is always very compassionate, informative, and helpful. The staff has always been very courteous and professional accept as of late...I called in to make an appointment and the admin, Ashley, was very sarcastic and short with me on the phone. She seemed very insensitive to my health needs. At my last visit Patti, another Admin, didnt even take time to even look up from her computer screen to acknowledge or greet me. How rude is that! Please be careful how you treat your patients, you never know who you may offend by your careless actions. We are the reasons why you come to work every day and receive a paycheck!

We highly recommend Dr. Brian Cain to anyone whom are looking for a pediatrician. We see Dr. Cain for all of our primary concerns and check ups. Dr Cain listens, diagnoses and cares like he would his own family!!My son is almost one year old, Dr. Brian Cain is his pediatrician and hopefully always will be!!

I’m getting rebilled a bill from May of last year that was paid ! Then in 2018 i was getting bills from 2017 i know i have never gotten beforehand please fix this!!!

( OCCURRED AT DRS PAIN MGMT OFFICE)This Dr knows who he is! Went here, seen him for 6 YEARS, he even told me I was one of his best patients. Then all of a sudden, WITHOUT A REASON OR TELLING ME, they send me a letter of discharge saying that they will only consider seeing me in case of emergency for the next 30 days from date of letter. Well I tried to get in once more because I only had a weeks worth of meds left. Staff WOULD NOT allow me to talk to Dr, also, tried hiding from phone when I called back. Letter also said they would furnish me a copy of my medical records upon request. Yeah, right! I told them I wanted a copy and NEVER received them. If they had a reason to let me go after 6 years then so be it.....but they should have told me in person they were discharging me and should allowed me one last appointment and my med records! In my opinion, this Dr is just a drug dealer with a license! Good luck to them because it has been 10 mths and Im still angry and seeking an attorney at this time. Medical Board will also hear from me!

Kay love is the worst. Shes dismissive and incompetent. Trufant cares, hes an awesome doc. I was trying to establish care here but im going to keep looking. If you have a serious issue, go elsewhere. This place is more for cuts and scrapes I think.

Great clinical staff service, checkout was good too, I felt like the lady that did my intake was tired of working there, she needs to be a bit more friendly, but other than that everything was good!

I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient and the first thing I asked was do you accept medicaid & she responded with we are not accepting new patients ... thats not what I asked. I asked if you accept medicaid. Very unprofessional, and seemed annoyed by me. Especially when I asked if she knew any offices in the area she could refer me to. Not everyone with medicaid is trash, and it seemed by the tone in her voice she wanted to get off the phone as soon as I said medicaid.

Great staff that show true care and concern. Highly recommend!

A doctor here actually laughed at me when I was concerned about side effects of a medicine that I was placed on BY HER. These people are total scum bags that shouldnt be in the profession. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER! Stay AWAY LIKE THE PLAGUE!
