I don’t feel he listens to me as a patient. I had to see him after my doctor of many years left the practice. With Dr Mc Murray I always feel rushed and I feel like I leave with unresolved issues. As his patient, feel like I waste my time and money seeing him.

Berates patients without knowing the full story or allowing for patients to give history. He should retire.

Dr. McMurry has been my doctor for over 10 years and has provided excellent service. He listens carefully and always asks a number of questions related to my symptoms. For my physical he carefully reviews all lab results and informs me what to be conscious of as to foods I eat and exercises he would recommend. There is nothing he could change that would make him a better doctor in my opinion.

Honestly, I’m not sure if my health will ever be the same after being under the care of Dr. Mcmurry. He irresponsibility prescribed medication for me, even though I probably never needed it in the first place, and didn’t do his very best to do a comprehensive work up of my health to figure out why I was experiencing the symptoms I was having. When asked to do more blood work, he basically refused to acknowledge my request, and rather, he referred me out to a specialist and I had to wait almost 2 months before getting the results I needed. I went back and forth to Dr. Mcmurry with what I consider severe symptoms due to a bad reaction that I had from the medication he prescribed me, and he was dismissive that the medication was the cause, and furthermore basically refused to help me thereafter because more than likely he didn’t know what to do...he doesn’t do a good job of listening, and he’s not very good with following through with his patients. I was an otherwise healthy 28 year old before going to him with some abnormal symptoms that I never experienced before....he dismissed all possibilities as to why I was experiencing the symptoms, and just prescribed me an anti depressant, even though I had no prior history to depression. He completely misdiagnosed me, and now a year later I’m stuck in limbo wondering if my symptoms will ever go away (it’s literally a laundry list).....I’m only 29 mind you....I wish I could send a law suit his way but it probably wouldn’t work now being that it’s almost a year later since this all happened...... also, did I mention I was doing all this with no health insurance, so I pretty much feel like I was taken advantage of....again, back and forth to his office in clear distress, and basically was told I had to deal with it....all to be charged astronomical fees that I couldn’t afford because of no insurance, as well as no incomeBecause it was impossible to work with the symptoms.......do yourself and your health a favor and steer clear of his practice....if I could save someone else from the suffering I endured (and am still enduring) due to his failed treatment plan for me, than I feel like I did a good thing......

I havent felt good for 4 days so I thought I would make a doctor appointment but my normal doctor wasnt there so they gave me an appointment with DR. Mcmurry. I almost left there in tears because he is so rude! He literally laughed at me when I told him my symptoms. He made me want to go to a whole new doctors office!
