Marcy runs the office and is Dr. Toths assistant. She was my first introduction to Dr. Toths care. She was friendly, patient, listened to my concerns and was knowledgeable about Dr. Toths practice and understood what I was seeking in a new doctor who could prescribe bio-identical hormones. Offices in my health network said bio-identical? Whats that?She went out of her way to access my previous lab results for the first appointment.When I came in for my first appointment, Marcy was again friendly and welcoming. Dr. Toth is very personable and knowledgeable and thinks outside the box and listened to me on every level: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I felt heard and assured that I was in good hands for dealing with bio-identical hormone supplementation, Epstein-bar virus, pre-diabetes, Hashimotos thyroiditis, low energy, low libido, night sweats, high daytime body heat. He ordered labs and on my 2nd visit after reviewing the results, upped my previous Metformin Rx from 1 to 2/day, adjusted my bio-identical thyroid T3/T4 Rx to a wild plant yam. (It took 2 days for my energy to adjust, but seems like my body likes it).He reduced my Progesterone trouche from 300mg to 200mg, and deleted DHEA. He doubled cortisol 5mg, to 2 a day. Night sweats have subsided for the most part. He said that well see how my body does with those changes and then in 3 mos.well do more labs and then well look at reducing my existing Tri-est to a Bio-est pellet and a Testosterone bio-identical cream for 30 days, before doing a 90 day testosterone pellet to help with libido.Having a doctor who is as thorough as Dr. Toth is a breath of fresh air. He is worth every penny even though he doesnt take insurance and I pay out of pocket to see him. Once he puts Humpty-Dumpty back together the frequency of visits will decrease as we see how the lab results prove out.I highly recommend Dr. Toth and Marcy to anyone looking for a compassionate and highly knowledgeable, out-of-the-box-thinking doctor and staff, who really cares about their patients.
