My primary care Doctor is Doctor Stock. Since I began seeing him he has been very thorough with his diagnoses by explaining thing so that they are easily understandable. His staff always makes me feel welcome when I have an appointment.I highly recommend Doctor Stock and his staff and Novant if you are looking for a Doctor to tend to your needs.

I love coming to Norvant Health Lakeside. Every time I go I receive service with kindness and experience. I feel like my doctor and the entire team have my best interests at heart. I have never had problems getting an appointment, answers to my questions, prescriptions filled or anything else. If there is new information out there they make sure I receive it. It is a clean and safe environment.

Very happy with Dr. Mary Cox and her nurse Erica. I feel good about them being my health providers.

Ive been going to Lakeside Primary for a while now and they are all fantastic. From the greeting at the window to check in, to the nurses in the back and Dr. Stock who has treated me for quite sometime now. Very thorough!

Great place for a Primary Care Doctor. Dr. Griffen and Nurses take care of you as if you were part of their family. I was happy to see the nurse from when I started going to LPC back and mask or not I knew it was her when she open the door and called my name. I’m not good with names but I knew it was her and was glad she is back. I feel as if they have my best interest in mind and take care of me to their best ability and for that I am and will always be very grateful.

Karen Myers is incredible. She has been my primary doctor for several years and I could not be more satisfied.

I have been a patient at this office for years. Dr. Woolwine is the most kind and considerate doctor on staff there. She shows genuine care and concern for her patients. Ive had the luxury of seeing other doctors and they are all good and have the same care as Dr. Woolwine. The receptionists, nurses and lab techs are kind as well.

Love it. I drive from the South End of Charlotte gladly because I know Im getting the best care possible! Dr. Stock and his team make you feel at home.

I wish there were more stars to check. This is the best Dr.s office Ive been to. The front desk staff are always friendly. Dr. Stock is beyond amazing. Ive never in my life have met a Dr. that calls to check on their patients, or calls to inform them about medical information. Hes sincere, and has a great sense of humor! The only bad thing I can say is I no longer come here, because of moving away:/, really wish other practices could match this one. Keep up the great work everyone!

Linda Hang was the first doctor to listen to me about my now diagnosed medical conditions that I had been battling with since I was 15. She’s an amazing care provider, personably, and very proactive. She remembers me and my medical history every time I come in, even if it’s months apart. She takes the time to listen to me, which that alone is a gem in itself. When I first came to her I felt defeated and ignored by all my previous doctors, I’m so happy to have found her because I know feel like I have control over my medical conditions.

Ran terrible and immature admin/managers. Our healthcare is a joke and let Novant be the punchline.UPDATE!!! THEY BANNED ME FROM NOVANT BECAUSE OF MY REVIEW. COMMUNISTS!

Good Care

I saw Hang L Hoang, NP today as a new patient. She was awesome and took her time to address all my concerns I currently have. I can be a complicated patient with an extensive medical history and can overwhelm new doctors when first seeing them. We move frequently being a military family so finding new doctors can be difficult. I would recommend her to anyone needing a calm caring person to listen without judgement and work with you to find the best solution to any of your health concerns. Thank you for making my visit easy today and restoring my faith when it comes to family health clinics. I was seen as a person today and not a number.

If youre in need of competent care, look somewhere else! These doctors apparently do non harm by lying to their patients and ignoring the importance of continuity of care. I would give them zero stars if I could because this practice is a total waste of space. Most unporofessional liars I ever dealt with.

After visiting this practice looking for a new primary care doctor to attend to me and my families medical needs...we have decided that this practice is not for anyone looking for real care. The doctor did not address any of the reasons I went there to begin with, he yawned through the visit, and changed my meds to what he thought would work. He did not care, was arrogant , and obnoxious. I do not recommend this practice to anyone. As a matter of fact, stay as far away as possible. We will never return. The office manager is a headstrong, nasty person. The only reason I gave one star is because the staff was pleasant. Stay as far away as you can,run in the other direction. Not fit to be in medicine at all.

Dr. Vuong is the best physician anywhere! She is very knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated in spending quality time with patients. My family, including my husband and four grown boys who could choose a male physician instead, continue to hold Dr. Vuongs medical care above all others.

They do not help you when you are suffering they refer you to someone else and then that someone else takes weeks to get into see. Prisoners and terrorists are treated better!!

I have been going here a year now seeing doctor Stock. He is great in the office but it has been months since I requested a 504 letter...his nursing staff tell me it will get done, NOTHING! This is unacceptable, I cant get through school without it.

New patient prior to first visit observed wife receiving poor service such as misdirected pharmacy requests no returns on phone calls. So I saw no reason me to get same service and cancelled my first appointment

Your one stop shop for the beginning of a chain of referrals. Great for check ups, not for any serious medical condition. Going last week is the biggest regret I can recall.

This is a nice place but im not the type to care for nice I care about my health . I came here staff was nice things were fast but they literally forgot to order everything she said she would send a refer someone NEVER HAPPENED . She also said she would send medication to the pharmacy NEVER HAPPENED . IVE NEVER dealt with something like that ever .But if you are looking for a nice staff this is it , but professional when it comes to sending stuff to pharmacy yeah you have to remind them about this stuff .Hoang, Hang L, NP was my provider .

Today was my first visit Ive been looking for a PCP that was nice and all the office stuff was nice. Everyone was really helpful answered all my questions and my nurse practitioner was great dr.hoang seemed friendly and easy to talk to . I did have to wait quite a while in the waiting room but everyone was really apologetic about the long wait today which I thought was really nice at most doctors office they just act like youre supposed to wait forever for them.

I wrote a review about a week ago well guess what I got a letter saying that I have been dismissed from their practice and I have medication that I really need and i cannot get into anywhere else because of that letter every place that I have tried finds out about that letter and then will not treat me. I thought the problem was solved but I was wrong. I thought that in America you could express your views but not at this practice you say anything they do not like you are basically told to bye bye. If I could give them a minus rating I would.

Lakeside Primary Afton Ridge. Set me up for an inguinal hernia repair, then refused me further service. Had experience with Dr Stock, then was told by Dr Trang (?) that she was willing to be my PCP, only to be discharged (refused service) without explanation, asked twice to be called by the office manager, no response. These people are lying scumbags that will set you up for a potentially dangerous procedure then grossly neglect your need for continuity of care by discharging you without ever bothering to take a second to notify you why.

My three boys and I see two doctors regularly at Lakeside Afton. Dr. Vuong is our primary as she is both pediatrics and internal medicine. Dr. Stock is the savior when Dr. Vuong is booked, which is often! Both are exceptional.Dr. Vuong is by far the best pediatrician I have met. She never rushes a visit, but she doesnt waste time either. She is a superb listener, takes time to explain whats happening and answer any questions you may have. My boys love her and her staff; her nurse is fantastic!As far as internal medicine, I see Dr. Vuong and have been for almost three years. She was the first to get to the root of my medical needs, and I can honestly say I have never been at a practice that makes me feel more comfortable, valued, and respected. I have generalized anxiety, so its extremely hard for me to establish any level of comfort. From the first day I walked in, this office was outstanding. There isnt a single unpleasant person in the building, and it shows. The atmosphere is relaxed and professional yet also welcoming. Everyone is always smiling.Dr. Stock is who we see when Dr. Vuong is booked. He is wonderful; very knowledgeable, great with kids, and like Dr. Vuong, doesnt rush you or waste time. Its extremely rare to find a practice where multiple doctors impress and garner trust, but these folks nail it.If youre searching for doctors who are patient oriented, friendly, professional, and excellent at what they do, check out Lakeside Primary Care at Afton. Well soon be moving closer to Greensboro, and Ill still be making the drive to see these doctors because they are that good.
