Office staff and doctor was nice. It did what it was supposed to do. No issues came up. This was our first time seeing an asthma and allergy specialist. Not really knowing what to expect. Knew about testing the skin for allergies. The only negative I can point out was the doctor being vague about recommending allergy shots for my 8 year old so I was lost when being discharged and the staff begins to set these up. I had to tell them to pump the breaks on that because it was a lot to commit to schedule-wise and financially.

He is the greatest like everyone says. Very kind and patient with my daughter. He was also super patient and calming for me. Finding out about new allergies was troubling for me he reassured me that I was a great mom and the only way you know about an allergy is if you come in contact. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. He was also very detailed in his research and explained everything very clearly to me. I left in confidence.

Dr came in looking like he just rolled out of bed. Knew nothing about my daughters condition or any information about her. Didn’t even give me all required school paperwork before I left. Thankfully I checked before leaving and had to wait on other paperwork to be completed. Will never schedule with this provider again! (Chad)I have to say our normal provider, Dr. Collins, is amazing! He wasn’t available so we had to see whoever was available. Never again!

Was very understanding of my concerns and gave me several route we could take regarding the care for my infant. He did not just rely on the notes sent by the referring physician, he took the time to go through my child’s medical history with me and made sure he had all the details together. I filled out the pre-registration before getting to the office and we waited maybe 5 minutes before being taken back to a room and maybe another 10 to see the physician. It was not a typical wait 45 minutes to an hour to even get back to a room. The office staff were very polite and welcoming as well.

Clinic staff was very friendly and on time. Our experience seeing Dr.Patel was amazing and he made us feel so comfortable. He spent enough time answering our questions and concerns. He went above and beyond to identify the root cause of the issue. I highly recommend Dr.Patel.P.S. -I do not know him personally, its just a coincidence that our last names are same. :)

Great office experience. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Th were great with my 15 month old nephew. Our doctor was a great educator which is always helpful. I would refer any one to this office.

I have seen Chad as a patient diagnosed with chronic hives. He is knowledgeable, professional, and very down to earth in discussing this condition and how to treat it. Pros: Doctor is extremely Knowledgeable and quite caring. As well as the supporting medical staff.Cons: Be prepared to lose your socks if you pay out of pocket.

I love the efficiency of the Concord office of Carolina Asthma and Allergy.I was taken back with in minutes of checking in, went through the usual check-in procedures with the assistant and Dr. Errington followed shortly there after. He has been my allergist for probably at least 9 years or so.He is always pleasant and looking for ways to help me manage my allergies with the least amount of medication. He is also very knowledgeable about the times the pollen and irritants are most prevalent.

Outstanding staff, nurses, and doctors. Dr. Glenn Errington took exceptional care of my husband. He did extensive testing and found out exactly what my husbands specific allergies were and ordered the appropriate treatment. Thank you so much for helping him after all these years of suffering.

Dr. Errington answered all my questions and allayed some of my fears. I was there all morning because of the nature of my visit, but was checked on often and never felt neglected. The office staff is very nice and made me very comfortable.

Every seat in the waiting room was taken. There was someone waiting outside. All (i believe) waiting for allergy shots. I had a Dr appointment at 03:30PM. I went to the bank within 15 minutes and waited for a while. I left. I walked out. If my appointment is at 3:30, I don’t expect to wait for 45+ minutes to see the Dr.

Chad is great at listening to understand and explaining things simply. I feel he really understood my issues and he clearly articulated a treatment plan that I felt comfortable with because I knew why each part of the plan was included.

You are treated by a very patient doctor that will work hard to find out the issue and assist during the healing process! Nice, kind and respectful! Make you feel like you really matter!

Check in was quick and easy. You can fill out all the paperwork online says prior to the visit. Doctor was friendly and truly listened and answered all my allergy questions.

My first visit with Carolina Asthma and Immunology Clinic went very from the moment at check in.. The entire staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional!! Dr. Errington took his time getting to know me and listen to all my questions and concerns.. I had the referring physicians lab notes on my phone and was able to share them, so that Dr. Errington could explain what that visit would entail and possibly what our treatment options would consist of.. The lab technician was wonderful very friendly and had patience, because I’m normally really difficult to stick.. And since that first visit they have called and gave me test results and have already set me up for another lab and vaccine appointment!!I was really impressed with everyone that I had contact with and even phone conversations!! Ive been going to the Concord office for about a year. Saw Dr Errington initially and he took the time to listen to what was going on and make recommendations. Started seeing Chad Ellis went I needed a quick appointment and Chad also took a lot of time to listen, understand, explain and troubleshoot. It was also very helpful to see him quickly when you cant breathe. Every time I see Chad he always takes to time work on my situation. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes the shot room line is backed up, but it moves as fast as you can expect when theres no way for them to know how many people are going to come at a given time. Sometimes theres hardly anyone in line. I definitely recommend Chad Ellis and Dr Errington and the Concord location based on my experience. All the other doctors in 3 counties for the past 15 years just said You have asthma, heres an inhaler to take the rest of your life, they were $400.00 each, and twice a year I still had the same issues.

At my last visit, I met with Chad Ellis. He is really good at what he does. He explained process and expectations from an inside perspective. Being a lifer himself...someone who does immunotherapy ongoing, he actually answered questions, I didnt think to ask. Id wondered about having to take Zyrtec for extended duration. He actually brought that up without me even asking! I could tell that he was speaking from his personal experience with immunotherapy and that helped me manage my expectations for my immunotherapy in the future. I felt empowered by the information he gave me and the encouragement he threw in on the side. I even called my husband after the appointment to tell him I had a new perspective on my allergies and treatment. Thanks Chad! Immunotherapy doesnt feel like a burden or a chore now!

I have been going to Carolina Asthma & Allergy Center for 4 years. Dr. Herring and staff have always met my needs and listened to my concerns. Receive allergy injections monthly, have never had a bad experience.

All I can say is WOW. Dr Patel and his nurse were very nice people. When it came time to do the allergy panel(s) they send a lady in who cant explain the $500 charges. Next they send a lady in who explained to me that because I have a high deductible insurance plan that was my share. I asked could we call my insurance and heres the response. Guy you can call anybody. As I was leaving the same lady said Im getting the doctor, dad, to which my response was you can me John or Mister, but Im not guy or your Dad. This is my personal experience at this location. Hopefully yours will be better. One last thing, as I am leaving I have another patient chase me down in the parking lot to let me know she gets skipped all the time while waiting for her allergy shot. Not sure if that is true or not, usually where there is smoke theres fire. Again my personal experience and opinion.

I have been a patient for more than 20 years.. My allergies are terrible and with the expert treatment from Dr. Herring I am able to manage my symptoms. I highly recommend their practice!

We went to see what was cousins me to have a reaction around my eyes the first time they were great the test came back inconclusive so the said we would have to do a 3 day eyepatch test ok no big deal we scheduled for the three days we get it put on yesterday the doctor even says you get it taken off tomorrow right we say yes so we walk in today and the lady is like there was a problem with the scheduling and they moved you removal to tomorrow... you have limited range of motion with this patch can’t lay on my back and now have to miss 3 days of school because they want to be stupid and not even tell us they moved us so we need to Chang the appointment so now I have to struggle with 31 little needles in my back for a nother 24 hours

This place has some serious communication issues that need to be addressed. Twice over a 4 month period I had my allergist tell the shot room that I was to have an accelerated build due to frequent travel that missed the 2-7 day shot timeframe. Twice they ignored the order and have thus slowed treatment. The last straw was today when I called the office to complain, no one was available and I was promised a call back. The call never came. Going to find a new allergist that can actually follow instructions tomorrow.

I have very impressed with CAAC, both at my initial and subsequent visits. I usually go to the Gastonia location, where I get my shots and have seen Dr. Seyler, but I have also gotten shots at the Ballantyne location. Dr. Seyler is very personable and friendly and educates her patients well. The shot room staff at both locations are also friendly and helpful with learning about allergy shots. I appreciate CAACs focus on great patient care!

Provider was very unprofessional. He (Chad Ellis) was even argumentative at one point. I previously stopped taking my beta blocker per my cardiologist after being told by this office it may cause my EpiPen to not be as effective if I have a reaction to immunotherapy. I have been monitoring my blood pressure right along and on this day it was a little high in the office. After discussing this with him he said that I was never told that and that my blood pressure being higher today is not on us. As a caregiver myself I was kind of shocked at that reaction.

PA Chad Ellis is Smart, Knowledgeable, prompt and a great bedside manner. I will not hesitate to go to him in the future, as needed.
